So. There's a Mag-lev train with Imperial Goods rolling through the lovely landscape of Garqi. We Rebels are going to hijack it and make off with the loot. What's in the box you ask? Stuff. Shiny Stuff and we want it. That's all that's going into this little sojourn, and everyone is welcome to join in with a character or an NPC as they see fit. Just for everyone's information, there's going to be two sides to this affair. The Rebels and the Imperials. Nothing else for simplicity's sake. If you want to tag along as a Merc, chose a side and drop in. This Open RP is for fun and is but the first step towards the upcoming Third Galactic Civil War. So once Aer and I spearhead into this shindig - which considering the stigma attached to my posting habits is quite a surprise - let's rob that Train. Or you know... stop us from doing that like the Imperial Fun police you are.

I throw a small regiment of Quincy's into the hat - operating for ourselves. Hell, there's money to be made off war - and there's nothing like selling stolen merchandise to people who want it at three times the value.

Hey all,
I think I'm in on this one.
As a side note,
We need to think about what kind of artifacts will draw out Jedi and Imperial Knights.

Let's go with Stolen Jedi holocrons. Makes sense regarding the varied histories of the myriad Jedi Temples here on JvS, and plus - anyone else that manages to get away with them could make a small fortune selling one or two on the Black Market. Anything else the comes to mind? Toss it in. The Loot's vague for that very reason. lol

Both are a good idea.
We may also want to consider why such a train is on Garqi in the first place. What's the significance of the world?
Being within the same rim as the current Jedi Temple would push me to think that this train's carrying things that could be used against the Jedi, saber-resistant weapons, Ysalimir, etc. That gives some credence to Rawkill's involvement, and Andrew's as well.

It's possible to be carrying alot of things, though with the restrictions on Ysalmir, let's leave that be for now.
As for Garqi - I'm going to quote my idea from chat because reasons. lol

Sounds legit.
You could throw in things like standard supplies - ammunition, weapons and the like. That would fit in with your frontier world philosophy - it would make sense that multiple cars on the train would have different levels of security. The heaviest would have the holocrons, the others more standard fare. Would help to round out things.

Actually, the heaviest level of security is going to be on the car with the shiny box in it... >.>

How does having a former Bothan Sith Commando with dual heavy Mando blasters tag along sound to you? I'll have Na'me He're tagging along with the Rebels, representing the crew of the "Veritas" on this one...sound good?

boards.jedivsith.com/post/87681/threadAlright ladies and gents, we're good to go. I've thrown up an opening crawl in orbit, show up how you'd see fit - if you're a Rebel. If you're an Imperial, I'm sure you can make something up to justify your presence. Anyways, some deets that didn't go into the crawl. The Train's thirty cars long and each car contains various items and security details within. To keep things easy, I won't go into detail and leave what's within each car up to the writer's themselves - that said - to keep track of the action I'd like to request that everyone slaps a tag at the top of their posts mentioning what car they're in. Just so no-one gets confused with other posts that are made on the surface. (Also, the actions' taking place in the Open Terrain thread.)
