So, I have put together a map of JvS (for my own amusement mostly) & was wondering how many would like to see it. It shows the location of all the planets. In addition, it is also color coded by the factions I know of (with the leanings of unused planets based on a combination of JvS & Legends history).

Did you guys get to that part yet where you find the soldiers in Raxus Prime? The post is up. You can have your guys reacting to the wake up process in what ever way you see fit.

linkRed dots are First Order planets Green dots are Rebel Alliance planets Purple dots are II & other Mandalorian planets Brown are Hutt planets Darker colored dots are 'core' worlds, general those with active RP going on. Lighter colored dots are 'leaning' planets. Those are the ones that are inactive, abandoned or not involved with the War SL. The decision to consider some planets to one faction or the other was completely personal, based on a combination or canon history & what I know of the JvS history of the planet. If anyone sees anything that they think is incorrect, let me know what & why & I'll correct it. (& yes, I am aware Honoghr is listed as a Hutt planet, that has already been corrected :P ) Future updates to the map may include major shipyards, an included color key, & faction capitals. EDIT: fixed a few errors & added ... well everything I said I might. XD

Did some updates to the map myself. Adding in two new factions; Mandalorian Assembly (MA) and Eternal Empire (EE). Also added in changes to planets based on recent roleplay. Map can be seen on page 1, 3rd post. Edit: Just gonna add in the image here.

Several planets changed color edited the key listing -II changed to Mando to better reflect the fact that the II doesn't have unanimous support of the clans (I'm working on that, it is supposed to be the next Mandalorian Empire after all) -RA changed to Alliance so that Z will stop nagging me about it -FO changed to First Order, mainly because I was editing the rest of them so why not -Neutral changed to Single World Faction (If you are one of these & start taking over other planets, let me know & I'll let you pick your color. As long as it isn't too close to an existing color)

So what's happening with this? Looks awesome.
Anyone wanna organize a battle? It's been ages and ages. Would prefer to be on whoever's "losing" the war's side, if only because it makes more sense the desperate side would be calling on a grizzled old Mando scruffbag.

We currently have a battle/skirmish in progress, Taris. However that is closed since we have enough writers for it.
So far, its an even war. - Garqi raid: Successful Alliance raid - Dantooine: Stalemate, planet devastated by First Order - Jabiim (in progress?): First Order looks the likely victor - Ossus: Ongoing Knights of Ren raid - Bilbringi: Successful Alliance raid - Taris: In progress
We are trying to keep battles small or at least do raids/skirmishes. Dantooine was a failure due to the magnitude of its size and thus was not concluded until an agreement was struck on a suitable conclusion to the battle between the Imperials and the Alliance.

Also:
Tatooine: Small scale skirmish, could go either way.

Map update 7/5/2017
Seems I missed Umgul's alignment when I did the overhaul on updates from the original concept Admy made. Thanks to Atlantis bringing this to my attention, Umgul's color has been changed to neutrality from RA. Since that was something I entirely missed.

Uh, a while now. It is just Marcos & a small unit of his Novas against Aer & some Rebel commandos.

Still never knew about this. Must have been completely under my radar then with everything else going on.

It isn't really a major action & is just small scale stuff. The stakes are so small that it wouldn't even really show up on anyone's radar.

So are the leaders of the faction going to command a sort of grand narrative so that all the writers are on the same page for the larger events? For example, I imagine that the First Order invasion of the Core Worlds will send shockwaves throughout the Galactic Alliance and miscellaneous free planets, or is it up to the individual RPer to acknowledge stuff like that? I only ask because I think it might be cool and immersive if the consequences of actions are universally acknowledged, that will cause our choices to have some sort of consequence

^ What he said.
As a neutral observer and rabid fan of RP conflict i would enjoy some news that could be picked up on by other RPs as relates to the ongoing war.

Basically, the whole Civil War is the grand narrative. the original deal/plan was that people could chose to acknowledge this happening or not. Ideally, once you are "in" you would acknowledge everything that happened. That said, we weren't going to force everyone to be like "shock-horror, the FO invaded the core worlds". As with most things, everyone is individually welcome to ignore or acknowledge things. In saying that, the GA/Alliance as a government body will acknowledge the actions of the FO, and vice versa. But it is up to each person to decide within those bodies what events they acknowledge, but it is expected you will acknowledge their happening. I say this, Mostly because a lot of the "free planets" that I know of, are keeping themselves out of the Civil War SL and we aren't going to tell them how to run their own SLs if they aren't specifically associated with us. At any rate, this discussion has sparked an idea. so Lamar, thank you
