Zonama Sekot's Planetary Guide

Zonama Sekot (Ferroan for "World of Body and Mind") was a living, sentient world capable of traveling through space. Zonama was the planet itself, while Sekot was the living intelligence of Zonama. It was also the seed of the original Yuuzhan Vong homeworld, Yuuzhan'tar, which had been destroyed during the Cremlevian War.



Zonama Sekot was unique from other worlds. Its north polar region, a spot of pearl white was surrounded by an entire hemisphere of tropical jungles. Its southern hemisphere was covered with impenetrable silvery clouds. Along the equator there were several rivers, lakes, and small seas. The edge of the southern hemisphere was also covered by elegant wisps of wind which frequently broke free to form spinning storms.

- Suggested to PM Nem Yin if you desire to write on Zonama Sekot. Nem Yin is the current leader of the reborn Praetorite Vong.

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here:
- New players are welcomed to join in any roleplays. However it is suggested to PM any players you wish to roleplay with beforehand.
- New players may PM any players involved on the planet to ask for a way to hop in.
- If you wish to join the Praetorite Vong, please pm Nem Yin.
- Zonama Sekot is RPed from a post YV War perspective, sometime after 130 ABY. As such the Yuuzhan Vong found here are not hostile towards outsiders.
- Characters will be treated with hostility IC ONLY IF they commit hostile acts.
- In legends canon the Yuuzhan Vong disarmed after taking up residency on Zonama Sekot, this is reflected in the fact that the JvS version of Zonama Sekot has no defenses or planetary army; however, players RPing Yuuzhan Vong characters are still welcome to use Zonama Sekot as a resource to build up their personal fleets and forces.
- Non-YV players looking to gain a lambent crystal may pm Nem Yin who would be happy to assist in the process.

Any major factions/characters/places of interest that have been RPed here:
- The reborn Praetorite Vong originally started on Tur Yenagh, the sister seed world to Zonama Sekot. Later after Zonama Sekot was rediscovered, the organization moved its operations here. The Praetorite Vong maintain a shipwomb in orbit. The central government is located in a damutek near the equator, though most of its citizens live in villages spread out across the surface of the planet. The Praetorite Vong are currently friendly with the Jedi Lords of Ossus and are a member of the First Order.
