All of the private quarters of the Mist Order’s Councilors looked identical. Practical and functional, it had all the necessities that all of them needed, what diverged were often the arrangements of the furniture or even the color of the walls.
Each quarters had its own room, own common room, kitchen, and own refresher with everything it entailed.

Mace’s Private Quarter. . . Walking in right behind Serrin, Mace gestured for the Twi’lek Jedi to sit down on the couch right there after the lights were turned on. “The possible lead would be Helaine Orlov,” Said Mace straight to the point and just looking at Serrin for a little while in silence. But her tone was a convinced one, and perhaps yes, Mace was wrong, and she would gladly apologize for those assumptions if and when she would be corrected by hard facts, but she had seen enough stunts in her short lived life to know that her hunches often turned out to be correct. Walking over towards her desk and grabbing the notes she had there, plus the flimsi of the dent made on one of the victim’s chest, Mace handed her notes to Serrin without reluctance again. All of those notes though contained everything, and by the everything, it absolutely meant everything, from Horsea’s — the current Deputy Director, who was presumed to be just a Kiffar Lieutenant, and not officially a Force sensitive to most people here — innate abilities, to what she and Ayla had experienced, and seen during that fateful night at the Misty Lodge’s restaurant when Crystal turned out to be attuned to the Force. “A lot will say that we, the Kiffars, even if I do not look like one,” Compared to Ayla, Horsea, Honoros or even Forcias, Mace did not possess any facial tattoos at all that would blatantly state that fact, but it was known to most that she was half-Kiffar. “Work in mysterious ways, or even never communicate at all, but fact is, as you will see right there, Horsea has her own abilities, and one of them is Farsight, more often than not, her innate ability there, is active when a few of us are altogether.” Mace explained thoughtfully still looking at Serrin, and pausing a few times here and there to let her digest the information Mace was providing. “We meld when the occasion calls, or requires it, and I have to ability to grasp Horsea’s abilities, her thoughts, her visions momentarily, whenever we are together, and I do know you were surprised upon seeing Ayla and I react quickly and stopping Crystal from using the Force there on the Echani woman, but that is not relevant for now, what is, it’s the following . . .”Removing her gloves, and tucking that to her belt so that she would be able to remove her cloak for now and let it hang on the peg there, Mace looked back at Serrin with an impassive expression. Everything she had revealed insofar, that might have been a known fact to a lot, to Atlantis, or Franz, or anyone else, but it was just that way. “When, you are tapped into a friend’s mind, one that you consider your sister, and because it’s how we often interact with one another, I don’t need any of them to speak to know what they are thinking, and you see that the outcome changes from one second to another, despite Atlantis’ intervention,” Atlantis had intervened, that much she remembered, he had stood up right in the middle between Crystal and Alluria, and even Crystal had backed down briefly until her emotions went off again. “You would think, how and what the hell is going on, and then you picture and remember the people that were there, that were close to the scene, and you remember there had been a Zeltron . . .”It might have been a slim lead, and it might have been very presumptuous from Mace’s part, but if there was one thing that she did not doubt at all, it was Horsea’s abilities, nor was she doubting that someone had been messing with the women’s in conflict emotions, or even potential ways to react. “I am no saint, nor am I entirely lightsided, though I am definitely willing to give the benefit of the doubt, it’s just at the point where I am now, with other things that I have to oversee, I just stopped believing in coincidences.” Said Mace sincerely and thoughtfully, and right now she just stayed her tongue and looked at Serrin wondering if the Twi’lek Jedi would have any questions, or at least would try to argue that Mace was being hasty in her judgments, again, perhaps that was a fact, but again, at this point where she was right now, she just despised how everything was mucking up . . .

Taking a seat on the couch when Mace motions for me to do so, I settle in and listen without interrupting as Mace explains who the potential lead she had mentioned is, and then lays out her reasoning for having designated the Zeltron woman in question as such, occasionally looking down at the notes she has handed me to take in as much of their content as I can without missing anything that Mace says.
Between the content of Mace's notes and what she explains verbally, both added to the information SEO Aninh had provided concerning what the investigation she and the UPD have conducted has gathered thusfar, I have little difficulty in understanding the reasons Mace, and others, would find Orlov a potential suspect for the killings that have been mistakenly attributed to Andros; for even without the strange coincidence of the Zeltron being present during the incident where Crystal, according to those who know her best, acted out of character enough to make entertaining the possibility she had been subject to manipulation seem rational, the fact that Orlov is not only a physical match for the murderer down to handedness, but also could have easily learned the art of lightsaber combat from her paramour, formerly renowned competitive duelist Lyov Entin, the Zeltron would be of natural interest to the investigation. The only missing piece, however, is that, so far as I can determine, there is no discernible motive for Orlov to commit the murders, or to attempt to frame Andros for them. A quick scan of the information SEO Aninh provided also makes it sound as though Orlov has a rather strong alibi for the time of the murders, and I make a mental note to look into the matter more closely; for if half of what I have heard of Mace's instincts and intuitive prowess from others in the Mist Order is true, it would be foolish to discount her assessment of the matter at hand without doing so.
I do not immediately reply after Mace has finished speaking, instead nodding to convey that I have heard what she has said, and trusting that my reflective expression will make it evident that I am absorbing the information and assimilating it into all that I have learned so far of the events I have been asked to help make sense of; having firsthand experience with many members of the Mist Order, I have little doubt that my silence will be understood, if not appreciated. After a moment or two, I tap the notes and flimsi into a neat stack while saying, "I agree that Miss Orlov bears some further looking into, if only because there are so many coincidental facts about her that fit with what is known of the killer. Arching the thin ridge of muscle over my left eye, I grimace while adding, Unfortunately, the fact she now knows that she is under suspicion will ensure, if she is indeed our killer, that she is well on her guard going forward. Standing, I lift the notes and flimsi, smiling as I say, Thank you for these. I will put the information you've given me to good use, I can promise you that."

Mace’s Private Quarter
Whatever had been going through Serrin’s mind, Mace had no intentions on finding out at all, because after all, she preferred to hear a person’s thoughts, than fishing them out, at least in these types of situations. Mace knew that Serrin was following everything that she was saying, and perhaps in that brief and momentary silence, the Twi’lek Jedi was thinking or checking other facts.
Pushing away from the wall she was leaning against, Mace inclined her head and smiled faintly before shaking her head. “Yes, she already does know that we are onto her, and shall be careful next time. My visit with Atlantis to that couple did not help any.” Admitted Mace thoughtfully, and what she had said, just what Atlantis had said also, that certainly would make any one careful . . .
“There is no need to thank me, at all, although I do have one request.” Said Mace thoughtfully looking at the notes she had handed Serrin, and then looking back at the Twi’lek knowingly. “Lyov Entin, and Helaine Orlov are deeply connected, and the press loves them for what they represent to the public eye. Just choose wisely with who you want to share those information, please? Also know that officially, I am rumored to be half Kiffar, but I have never confirmed that fact, also it is not widely known that Horsea, who is the current Deputy Director of Intelligence, is attuned to the Force and has a those type of abilities.”
Yes, she might have been asking a lot from Serrin, and yes this whole revelation was a necessity, but she wanted to keep several things under wraps. Even though that there were some elements there that perhaps Serrin would keep to herself while investigating, one could not be too sure . . .
“Though, if you do need more clarification, please do not hesitate to let me know?” Smiling briefly, Mace inclined her head knowingly before taking a deep breath and closing her eyes momentarily. “I shan’t hold you any longer, if you wish to retire for the night, if that is the case, I am hoping that you have some rest.” Finally said Mace as she returned her gaze onto Serrin.

"What's done is done; better to find a way forward and focus on what can be done than to dwell on what cannot be undone, hmmm? I counsel Mace after she has noted that the visit she and Atlantis made with Helaine Orlov and Lyov Entin appears not to have helped the investigation. Nodding in agreement when Mace requests that I keep what I have learned to myself, I assure her, I understand perfectly, and will hold all I've learned close, have no fear."
"Of course, I tell Mace with a smile when she says that I should not hesitate to ask if I have any additional questions after having an opportunity to more thoroughly examine the notes she had provided as well as the information Ranger Aninh and the UPD investigators have amassed thusfar. Laughing when Mace mentions rest, I joke, I fear rest will need to wait until I'm satisfied that I'm up to date with what has been learned thusfar, but thank you all the same. Opening the door, I incline my head in a bow of farewell as I say, Good evening, Mace. May Ashla guard and guide you," and then step outside, pausing to recall the layout of the academy before, once oriented, beginning the trip to the guest quarters to settle in with the files I shall be getting acquainted with.

Mace's Private Quarter
“Did you know?” Atlantis not even caring, or warning the one he had asked that question to that he was going to come in here and ask something, even if he knew in the corner of his mind that he owed her that highest of respects and courtesy; he just barged in and asked that question.
Last night, he had found out some news, he had found out from his girlfriend, Crystal Kayne, that her family line was subjected to a curse that dated eons ago. Only one would survive, and for the previous generation, Virgil Solaris did, the rest suffered brutal, sometimes unexplained deaths. Now he wanted to know how the Kiffar right before him factored into all of this, into everything. He knew that she was always several steps ahead, and he knew that more often than not she could be nowhere to be seen.
Looking over placidly at the Headmaster of the Mist Order, Ayla who had been standing by her cousin, had shut her mouth soon after those words had ran out of Atlantis’ mouth. Mace nodded in her cousin’s direction and looked past Atlantis briefly. “We’ll resume this later, Ayla.” Said Mace, as clearly they were in the middle of a conversation, and they had been discussing a certain Forcias Kes, who was currently in Naboo and had come up against a darksider back at the caves of Eleuabad.
“Atlantis. . .” Began to say Mace as she placed her hands, flat, on the desk right before her, “I won’t insult your intelligence, nor will I beat around the bush.” She paused a moment as she watched Ayla walk away to give both Atlantis and she some privacy for their talk. “Yes, I knew.”
Atlantis was idly standing there, and stared blankly at the Kiffar Master before him, he was torn between screaming, torn between pouring out all of his emotions in a diatribe but he refrained, not because he willed himself to not do that, but because he had no idea what to say first. He was coy, he was feeling hopeless and he was feeling powerless. He willed himself to move, at least to go sit over there, but he found himself grounded, and not knowing what to do next but just to look at Mace, his voice seemed to have disappeared as he spoke in a mere whisper. “Please tell me there is a way to stop all of this madness. Please tell me, none of them have to die, and just please tell me…—“ Atlantis stopped mid-sentence and looked at Mace dubiously; where did she factor in all of that?
Was she part of the whole thing too? Was that one of the biggest reasons why she had redirected most if not all of them to Umgul? Why was it all cloak and dagger? The answer to the latter question came in quickly, he didn’t even need to wonder about that for too long. It was just how all of them operated. Sure they communicated, but at the same time, none of them were formatted to offer information willingly to one another… Is that where everything started to go all so wrong? A skilled telepath before him, but he knew that she rarely used her innate ability with him unless in a situation that was required. Mace, by everyone’s own admission, kept to her own, and rarely opened up about things that did not concern her, even when those concerned her, she kept everything contained and compartmentalized.
“… Talk to me, tell me what’s truly going on, and please tell me how you factor into all of that.” Atlantis walked at the opposite side of the desk and placed his hands on the desk, mirroring Mace, and looking straight at her.

Mace's Private Quarter
Looking into Atlantis’ eyes, his own troubled gaze was mirrored by hers. At that point, this situation had been going on for so long that quite frankly she had no idea where to start. She supposed at the very beginning, the reason why Crystal Kayne was originally hired by Umgul’s senator. The rest, all of them were a witness of that and what happened next. Boy meets girl, girl meets boy, they get together and fall in love expecting a happily ever after. “I don’t believe that he was certain of Crystal’s heritage, if that were the case. But then again one can only assume, and I am not in the business of doing so. Right here and right now, all I can tell you is that he isn’t around, for how long? I don’t know. . .” Said Mace, deciding to omitting the rest of her thoughts for the time being, but if asked she would tell Atlantis what she truly thought about his recent disappearing stunt. But considering that there were more pressing matters, on how all of those things came about, and how little by little it got added.
Atlantis kept looking at her and unable to support his whole weight, he pushed back and sat down on the seat that was facing the desk. Rubbing the root of his nose and taking a deep breath after he rubbed his face as if trying to find some clarity, Atlantis looked back at her. “Where do the Drakes factor in? How come you even took Lara as an apprentice, you usually never take one under your wings.” Atlantis was diligent in listening, but he also wanted to straighten everything out, know everything there was to know before it was too late, before they no longer had the time.
“That.” Began Mace with a faint smirk, actually that was a situation that had boggled her to begin with. “I can tell you honestly that it wasn’t because I was looking for it, nor was I trying to meddle with all of this, but then I took a look at,” Pointing at her temple knowing that Atlantis would get it, would understand immediately. “Her mind was sealed, and I couldn’t quite peer deeper a certain point. Then Horsea saw something, a certain Keith Drake, talking to his sister who remembers nothing.” Explained Mace, she knew that Atlantis was quite aware of Horsea’s abilities and didn’t need to paint the whole picture. “After some searches, imagine my reaction upon finding out who was Keith’s Master.” Pushing back against her desk, Mace walked around it and sat down on the seat that was located next to Atlantis’. “Nothing is ever really a coincidence, not when it comes to some houses in Coruscant, the Zhell. . .”
“Wait, wait.” Atlantis interjected with a lifted hand. “The Nations of Zhell, as in the Battalions, those Zhells?” Seeing Mace’s nod to confirm his statement, Atlantis looked befuddled, he knew that shock could have been perceived on his features, but at the same time it did make sense now, why some of those families in Coruscant had higher standings than others. All he knew was what Crystal told him, her ancestors had struck a deal to win some war, and now they were bound to protect that ultimate power with their own life. But now this. Just this. Atlantis stood up and paced for a moment and stopped he was about to go on and ask a few more questions but something stopped him.
Mace felt it too and looked in the direction of her door before looking towards a wall where the City was located. “What the. . .”
Her quarter’s door opening revealing Ayla with a closed feature. “It’s them. We need to to assist them, and try to contain this. . .”
“Comm Franz…” Sprinting out of the room closely followed by the Vos cousins, Atlantis had no idea what was currently happening but one thing was for sure, he was not made aware of anything going down and that was something he should have paid more attention to also.

Franz's Private Quarter
While a few things have been happening in the Academy, between some classes being given, or some talks occurring, Franz who had just come back from the farmers' fields to help them out with their harvest had gone straight to his quarter to take a much needed shower, and just to freshen up. Despite having taken the mantle of instructor more seriously, with assigning some tasks to some of the padawans after coming back from the mountains, Franz always felt that there was something missing in his core.
Maybe the fact that so many people he had come to know in the last few years just left for whatever reasons of their own, or just because maybe it was all because of him, and his inability to maybe hang onto something, or someone. At least he had come to terms with all of that, but still from time to time he still tried to figure it out, or tried to understand.
Could he just keep on saying no news, good news? Or shits about to hit the fan? And that was terrifying, but also something he would strive for to not happen. Once dressed finally in his traditional Jedi robes, Franz clipped his lightsaber on his belt and breathed softly as he picked up, or at least heard his name spoken by one of his cousins. Closing his eyes and letting out another deep breath as he focused on the Force, and also expanding his ability to hear farther than most, he immediately recognized Mace's voice, but also Andros'
Andros?
Well that is surprising...
Made him wonder why the Vice Governor was here then, Franz supposed he'd find out. Reaching out to Atlantis, Mace, and Andros privately, Franz only indicated. Quarters, I'll come to you. Stepping out of his quarters and keying in his biometrics to lock it securely, Franz made his way down to towards the dining hall.
