Not sure if you go down the whole Padawan route like in the prequels or you do the whole Luke Skywalker training method as in the now Legends books. Either way I am looking for a Jedi who is active enough and has time and wants to train my character in the ways and arts of the Jedi.

I have a Jedi master that is really just looking to write. He could take an apprentice

Officially, he is at the Jedi Enclave on Falucia. But he can be anywhere. You don't have much back story. Where would you want to start as an apprentice?

I honestly don't know. How do Jedi hopefull's usually get discovered, might it be possible that your character would search for force sensitives? Oramis might be able to perform a simple parlor trick or two, but I don't think him suddenly realising himself what he can do fully would be realistic. I think he would require someone to pursuade him, at a later date I will flesh out his back story and reveal his Grandfather was a Jedi and Oramis is reluctant to follow in his footsteps because that didn't end so well.
* Okay, after some thought I have provided Oramis with a bit of a back story, essentially Arkanian/Sephi and moved to Fondor, made a name for themselves became nobility. Oramis Great Grandfather cast all that aside when he became a Jedi and now Oramis is loking to restore it as last of his name through the dueling arena on Fondor.

So it would seem the Fondor would be a good place to have Mir run across him. How old is Oramis?

I haven't put a definitive age on him, but he is late teens early twenties.

Mir is very cynical, he has little to no faith in the galaxy. He has seen the worst the galaxy has to offer, and it has changed him. He works off a sense of duty.

Interesting, Oramis is very critical of the Jedi since it hasn't done much for his family and he can't see what it does at large, but he is loyal and honor bound. So I guess the angle we need to go at is your character believing or being brought about to believe he has a sense of duty to Oramis or at least to train him, or a duty to sway his oppinion. Oramis I think will take you up on an offer if he felt he owed you something. I have posted on Fondor anyway, feel free to be watching or respond if you wish.

Awesome, was also thinking that perhaps Oramis Great Grandfather could have got rid of the title and all that in an effort to protect Oramis or distance himself from the family, might it be possible he discovered something, something so frightning he went to that length and now you are investigating what that was/is.

It would fit within reason that Mir knew his grandfather

Getting in a little late on the action here lol But if there is room for one more I would love to get in on this rp with you guys. Most of the other stuff has stalled out and looking for something fresh.
Was thinking Mir could teach the ways of the force, I can teach the ways of the lightsaber
Your thoughts?

I am not sure if Mir would want to turn and let a kid take over something like that, especially one not committed to the jedi order. I the writer would love a way for it to work. But i am just not sure how it works with the character

Just had alight bulb go off lol
What if we could write out that Mir knew and or trained Synar's master, with that it would give synar a reason to search you out in his pursuit for answers and in doing so you reconnect him with the jedi and following the light. As that side story plays out, one of the things you can have him do is help teach Oramis ? just a thought.
Any suggestions would be great. Just really looking to play my lightsaide character for once. Always stuck being the bad guy in other stories lol

that could work something like that. As a person still newer to the site than most people, with a newer character it is hard to write him to be old and experienced. I like the idea of putting him in backstories. I am not sure if he would trust you teach. But I am all for writing stuff in. I have had so many characters whose story lines have stalled out/ have dried up altogether. I want to get everyone and all characters active again.
