...and what is the significance of that color?

Presently? It's a mist blue color. A crystal taken from Ilum a couple of years ago.
Before then? Well, his first lightsaber, which was given to him for his initial training, was a typical blue color. The first lightsaber he built himself was also blue. Both of these were synthetic crystals. Later, he went to Ilum to retrieve his first true crystal, and this time it was green. A little later, he found a stygium crystal, which he used temporarily; it produced a black blade. Eventually he went back to the green lightsaber until he attained the mist blue weapon he has now.
As for the future...
There's no real significance to any of the colors. The first two blue ones? I dunno, he liked blue. The black one was solely because I thought black lightsabers looked cool. The green, I don't have much of an IC reason, just a change of pace. The current mist blue one is slightly more significant in that it more reflects his cooler persona. That's basically it.

Only one Na'an's owned and made herself is with a Dantari crystal. Wanted something that worked with her home environment (Dantooine farmland, found in kinrath nests), natural talents(as a crystal that stores energy, it's a great supplement for an Ataru fighter in need of a stamina boost), etc. That, and I liked the fact that it was one of the few crystals occurring naturally that could produce a red blade. With Na'an's lifelong struggles with her temper and self-control, a natural red blade seemed...appropriate.

Currently, Viox wields an orange colored crystal in his double bladed saber. There isn't much significance behind the choice aside from not being a traditional Sith wielding red bladed weapons. Originally he had a double bladed red saber, though as I have worked to move Viox away from any canon connections, I felt as though that made him too much like his canon counterpart, Darth Maul. And having always found orange as an interesting lightsaber color, it felt very suiting to have his weapon reflect his uniqueness. His secondary lightsabers, both single bladed, are red and yellow. Again, no significance behind these choices either. One is a traditional Sith/Dark Side associated color and the other is a Jedi-related color from the KOTOR era. And that sums up the colors of Viox's weapons. Simplified version is he wanted to be different and stand out.

And here I had thought I was somewhat unique in having chosen the color orange for my weapon...
Orange is a significantly odd color for a lightsaber, whether Jedi or Sith. Perhaps that is its significance, that it symbolizes my ideals: To create order, but not in the standard way. The Knights of Ren are neither Jedi nor especially Sith after all, but something else entirely.

Blue. Rutil was trained and lived as a Jedi Guardian, and lives by that line of thought right down to the blade color.

I have a light blue lightsaber and a white lightsaber.
The Light blue crystal was a gift to my character from her boyfriend at the time(now fiancee) and it replaced the violet crystal she had in there before.
The white lightsaber originally belonged to my character's mother, and had been a gift from her father to her mother.

Red-For those of you who have played SWTFU, you'll know what I mean when I say I chose a red uncompressed crystal as my primary saber. The blade with this specific crystal serves dual purpose. One, to entice enemies into thinking Cain is incompetent and cannot construct a proper functioning lightsaber, hiding his true intelligence and two, to reflect the true madness and instability his character harbors deep down.
Silver- A gift from his former master. Meant to reflect the bond often former between master and apprentice. Now it signifies the immense hatred towards his master.
Veridian- For those of you who have played KOTOR II, you'll know this color. No meaning behind this one, other then the fact that Cain keeps it as a trophy from his first NPC Jedi kill. A memento, nothing more.

Zalor's lightsaber always has, and always will be, green. Pure green. The color green is a huge, common, motif to most of my main characters. But, since Zalor is based off of another character from my original, non-Star Wars material, it'll be hard to explain the significance of the color without going into my original material. Suffice it to say, green has always been a color that I associate with peace and mercy, and since Zalor and the Anneri family have always upheld those values above all else, it's only fitting.

Silver. To reflect Vallius' stance on the Force. He is neither Jedi nor Sith. He walks the difficult line of remaining neutral.

well, as far as Rawkill's main sabers are concerned, he wields a dual pair of sabers which are green and blue. A large part of that, is that it was the colour of the sabers in the image I found for him. But it also works well for Rawkills own version of a Sentinel, in that he combines the Guardian and Consular paths somewhat. He also wields a pair of purple bladed sabers, produced by Hurrikaine crystals he was gifted during a mission I've yet to write out.

At the moment, Sihnyad wields a pair of sabers; one is emerald green while the other is sapphire blue. Much like what Rawkill said in the post above, the initial selection was based on the image i found to use as this character's avatar. However, with a bit of backstory (I haven't fleshed it completely out yet) it makes since as to why he came to use the green one, though his style is very much that of a Guardian as he is very melee oriented with not being as strong as many others in the force, though incredibly gifted in hand-to-hand combat.

When Sorak was the leader of the Pirates, he wielded a purple lightsaber. Despite using dark-side powers and working with the Sith on occasion, he definitely was not a Sith and I wanted the colour of his lightsaber to differentiate him from them.
I also used the below image to show the unstable nature of his blade, a bit like Kylo Ren's sabre but slight more exaggerated.

Been rocking orange-bladed sabers since day #1 on the boards back in 08'. It's interesting to read about others having orange now that I'm gone.
Anywho... significance? Jud's blades are pre-Jedi Civil War, they are old, old enough that I figured there were far more crystals for Jedi to get a hold of and use. Also, seeing how the crystal chooses the Jedi I figured orange would be more an ominous color of things to come; unique in the fact that I didn't want him to go blue/green to red, too clique. So, in an era where the color of you blade was a badge, or a rank, or a title, I chose to give him a unique pair of blades that put him apart from both his Jedi brethren, and later his Sith counterparts.

Not used much, but the old man has a silver bladed lightsabre (now kept in a display case). The choice being that he started off a lightsider, went dark then said screw it & became a mando & put all that nonsense behind him.
Mary has a red blade (she is a jedi), that she took as a trophy off a darksider (she doesn't yet know how to make her own).

I expected Blue and Red to be the top choices, but I'm a little surprised to see both Silver and Orange beat out Green.
Hurray for creativity and not just sticking to what's in the OT.

I use orange as well. There isn't much significance to this other than that it shows my character may be loyal to the Sith, he is not a traditional one at all and sees flaws in both Jedi and Sith ideologies, codes etc. and so strives to follow what he believes in (order above all else) and not just what he's told to follow.
I'm suprised orange is so popular. I thought I would be one of only a few with an orange light sabre.
