My friends, I humbly come before you—I, Darth Bacon, Master Chef, successful entrepreneur, and owner of the highly-rated Bacon's Bistro—to bring you the terrible news I've discovered. You see, in all my days, I've built up something of a lucrative career, made a name for myself, opened one of the finest restaurants in the galaxy, but then I realized a horrible truth.
Oh, it wasn't all horrible! Indeed, it was such a fine taste, a wonderful delicacy, one of the most delightful desserts I'd ever tasted! Yes, of course, I refer to that which is called "chocolate"! I'd never had this before in my life, and I could not fathom as to why not! This was the greatest invention! Certainly would make for an alluring treat the customers couldn't get enough of!
But then I learned that horrible truth I shall now reveal to you:
Oh, those fiendish Yuuzhan Vong! Wasn't enough that they had to ravage the galaxy, but to tear away chocolate from me?! Er, from us? Yes...
Well, I aim to right this wrong! Yes, I will track down these existing pods, I will study them, I will learn where is best for them to grow and nurture, and I will bring chocolate to the galaxy once more! My kitchen is inadequate without it! I cannot return there until I see this task carried out! Eggs is certainly capable of running the show while I set off on this grand journey!
... Er, it's just that, you see, I need... sponsors. Or any aid that can be provided! Transport, researchers, botanists, surveyors, anyone that can help me retrieve what I need to find the seeds and reproduce them! I'd even accept cloning, if the means were provided! So, if you're interested, sound off! Let's bring chocolate back to the galaxy! And to my restaurant, at reasonable prices!
OOC: Obviously this is all completely lacking in seriousness, but the idea randomly came to me when I researched chocolate on Wookieepedia out of curiosity and saw the quoted line. Thought, to hell with it, why not pitch a completely off-the-wall goofy RP idea and see who would bite on it? Just something for fun, maybe some character development or just to goof off and enjoy writing something silly. You could play it as seriously or as loosely as you wanted, or even try to be an antagonist somehow. Just something fun and random, without any of the weight of the more serious RP storylines about.
Of course, I have no idea what the one planet is left that still produces chocolate, we could either BS it or just use a Hyperspace thread somewhere. Either way, if anyone's interested in goofing off, let's do it! All for fun. We can pitch ideas and run with them to see where it takes us.

After the Yuuzhan Vong War, chocolate became a rarity, because the Yuuzhan Vong had re-shaped seven of the eight planets that were home to the plant that produced the pods that were used to make it.
