This idea has been rolling around in my head for a while now and with the Organization gone I don't really know of many secret underworld type groups out there so I figured I would give this a shot.
Anyway I'm wanting to make a group of stealth based characters to act as assassins, thieves, and spies.
I have set of 5 rules that members of this group must abide. I'm going to use the word 'guild' because I haven't come up with a name for this group and the rules sounded weird with the word group.
Breaking these rules of course will result in expulsion from the group unless otherwise specified by group leaders.
I want to make clear the difference between members and associates. Members are the thieves/assassins/spies within the group while associates are anyone outside of the group who aide the group such as fences, informants, and those who protect guild members in their time of need. That being said we will need those types of people to fulfill those roles. And of course I'd like to have people who give us contracts, however they would be considered as clients, not associates, and they would be subject to becoming marks themselves in the future.
Okay I know what some people are thinking, "That seems like a lot of rules with no coinciding benefits." The benefits are fairly simple, in joining you will have steady work, protection, allies, and equipment. If that isn't enough then please pitch something else you might want.
The types of jobs that you would expect in this group would be break-in/burglary jobs, heists, corporate espionage, contract killings, information gathering, frame jobs, and so on, anything that requires stealth and cunning to complete. This way people will have many types of work to choose from when they want decide they need something to do or decide they need some extra money.
Is anyone interested? This is just me thinking out loud, but I thought it might be something that would boost this type of rp around here.

- A member of the guild may never betray the guild. -- Why would we want someone in the guild who would sell us out? And if they did, this is just subtly saying that there would be some repercussions.
- A member of the guild may not steal from or kill another member of the guild. -- It's a guild, not a free-for-all. We honor other guild members, we can however steal from and/or kill non-affiliated thieves/assassins/spies.
- A member of the guild will pay 10% tribute of all earnings to the guild. -- This doesn't go to anyone's pocket, this would simply be guild money and would be used to buy various equipment for guild members and to pay off any bounties and warrants on guild members.
- A member of the guild may not steal from or kill guild associates. -- This one seems like common sense as well considering what guild associates bring to the guild, why would we burn that bridge?
- A member of the guild must carry out and obey all contracts to the letter. -- Completion of contracts will keep us credible. Completion to the specification of the client will make us sought after.
