Hello friends. I sent a group request to Clan Vhett and the Mandalorians group but I think the group leaders (for both) aren't logging into the site all together anymore. So my question is, how do I get added?

I too have requested to join the Mandalorian's group. I believe my good friend Faelan Bralor was recently added to that group. We might just have to be patient.

The Mandalorians usergroup has about three leaders, so I am sure one of them will get online soon.
As for Clan Vhett, that is another story entirely. I am fairly confident Corr isn't around. My suggestion would be to send him a PM, if you don't get a reply, have a chat with your fellow Clan Vhett writers and go from there. Otherwise, it's not a big issue if you don't get into the Clan Vhett usergroup, as I am not aware it grants any extra posting permissions anywhere.

Okay, here's what I did: I can manage groups, so I approved those wanting to join the Mandalorian Empire and The Mandalorians groups. With Clan Vhett, though, I'm going to talk about it with the other Whills a bit, since I think that one might have some history beyond just being a group for the Vhetts in general... I mean, times change, sure! But I don't wanna make a mistake, even if it doesn't hurt anything...
Hmm... do you guys—I mean, all the Mandalorian writers—think you need both the Mandalorian Empire and The Mandalorians groups? I'm not really sure if these are supposed to be the same thing or not, and since all of the leaders aren't active anymore, maybe you could pick one of the groups and find new usergroup leaders just so people can get approved? I'll talk this over as well!

I've just been following Faelan Bralor around lol. He just joined the Mandalorians group. That's probably the group I would pick out of the two simply because it is a group that encompasses ALL mandalorian clans. Although I do wish there was a Clan Bralor but of course we have enough Mandalorian clans as it is and only 3 of us writers would really be a part of it.

I also requested a new location on Mandalore about 5 days ago and have not received a response yet. It's for the city of Norg Bral. There are 3 or 4 of us that will be actively RP'ing a LOT in that thread if you approve it.  |

As for both, I don't think we do need to have both but it is a difference in distinction. At least that is just how I see it. If you need me to be a leader for Clan Vhett and the Mandalorian Empire, to allow and accept user requests, I would be happy to volunteer as such. |

Clan Vhett is a faction usergroup created by a specific group of writers, so you would need approval from one of those writers to join the group. Unfortunately, I don't believe any of them are active anymore. There's nothing to stop you from also writing a Vhett character, or forming your own Vhett user group, but as a general rule, we don't force add people to faction groups (unless it's a very generic group and we know we're not stepping on anyone's toes, e.g. 'The Jedi Order' and 'Mandalorian Empire').
As far as deciding the future of the various Mandalorian groups ('The Mandalorians' and 'Mandalorian Empire'), I recommend starting a discussion on the RP Planning forum so other Mandalorian writers have a chance to weigh in on the decision. Originally there was only one group, but then the Mando writers that were leading the group asked to have two groups, Empire for all the explicit faction business and permissions, and a more generic/more open group just for communications.

Direct and concise. Thank you for that insight. Unfortunate that those who are in charge don't come on anymore. Creating another Clan Vhett group seems....redundant. So the generic group add will have to do. Again, thank you for the time you put into looking in to this for me. Back to the proverbial drawing boards....
