Hello everyone,
So I am quite confident many have noticed my long absence from JvS since January. If I may, I will explain.
Since my last reply, I have begun working two jobs to make ends meet, and I have been left with very little time to write here, for Erly, and a few other characters.
I deeply apologize most of all to Adrien Draykon and the rest of the Draykon Crew. I’ve been struggling to make time to write responses, but I’ve been hard-pressed for it, or getting burnt out when I do find gaps in time, and regrettably, I find I am no longer able to sustain or continue writing, for the time being. I realize that I was holding the progress back quite substantially by continuing my silence. For that, I apologize.
In addition, some probably suspected by way of the timing of their own absences, I am also the writer of Jemima Sacharo and Krystal Tancredi. So my departure will mean they too will be leaving the team and JvS.
I have been a part of JvS since 2007 until now, and I have come and gone several times over the years, but this may very likely be my final tenure here as a writer, hence the title of “retirement”, so I would like to say a few things.
First, a thank you to everyone who’s been a part of my adventures through various characters, whom I wish not to name, as weird or OCD as it might sound, but I like some enigma if you will (it was hard enough admitting that I am also Jemima Sacharo and Krystal Tancredi. Weird, but there it is), though I would like to thank Raven Alora, Ice Matango, Adrien Draykon, Galdaart Fel, Constanza Vinti, Karana Malora, Zion Morvael, Wade Connors, Trent Weston, and many many others whose names slip my mind at this immediate moment (I’m writing from work...see? I’m that busy) so please forgive me if I missed you, but you’ve all helped me grow as a person and as a writer, be it in small or large ways, and I will always carry that with me and cherish that for what it is, the rarest of gifts.
I feel like you’ve all been a family, and it’s honestly so hard to even write this, because a part of me wants to stay, to keep trying, but I have to be honest with myself and fair to everyone, because I cannot keep to a remotely “normal” schedule for the foreseeable future. I live in a country where the political climate is...a slow boiling pot, to put it mildly, and an explosion’s imminent at any moment, and a lot of horrible things will ensue, so truth be told, I’m putting all efforts and energy into earning enough to get the hell out of here before it blows up in my face or the face of my loved ones.
I might pop in on chats or even the oOC here from time to time to say hello, but officially, this is Erly Ryzer, late demiser, signing off for the last time. I love you all, and will always remember you all fondly, and I pray blessings and prosperity for all of you in your real lives, for your family, and your friends. Stay safe, stay alive. God bless.
Love,
Erly Ryzer
