It had been a long journey from the Southern Quadrant of the Outer Rim to Wild Space, navigating a strange magnetic field before a vessel, a Bulwark-class Battlecruiser, exited over a remote world, deep within Wild Space. An assessment went underway the moment the ship exited the potentially treacherous path taken to even remotely come within range of this planet. Yet, to gaze upon it, Malvus could feel why Bogan brought him here. Why the Dark Side of the Force beckoned him to this remote region of space for a higher and greater purpose.
Before his eyes was the long-lost terrestrial planet of Kesh, an ancient world known long to the Sith and Jedi, due to an incident close to fifty years after the Battle of Yavin IV. Corrupted by the dark deity, Abeloth, a previously unknown group of Dark Side Adepts, known as the Lost Tribe of the Sith, emerged from this quadrant of space to wreck havoc upon the war-torn galaxy, still licking its wounds from the Second Galactic Civil War and the ongoing struggles within the Galactic Alliance. Yet, despite their initial success, Abeloth was destroyed and the Lost Tribe failed in its crusade against the Jedi and their allies. It was not till the rise of the One Sith, under Darth Krayt, that the Sith became a threat again.
However, this planet remained untouched by the resulting purge, inflicted upon the Sith, by the victorious Jedi. Kesh, once more, fell into obscurity and then into legend. Vanishing from the eyes of the galaxy, to heal and rebuild. That was, until today, several weeks after the re-discovery of this planet, by Darth Malvus, who had felt a calling in the Force to Wild Space and, eventually, by the guidance of Bogan, to the very planet he gazed upon. Kesh, it was a vibrant world, not a tomb like Ziost or Korriban, but truly a paradise with great potential.
Malvus takes in a deep breath, his senses taking in the Dark Side energy that permeated from the planet's surface. It ran through the entire planet, a network of dark energy, centered around the Sith Temple that still resided over the planet. Far below, he could sense hundreds of thousands of individuals, non-force and force sensitive. Malvus had vowed to renew the One Sith under a new goal, under a new banner and composed of worthy Sith and Dark Side Adepts. An unholy alliance, with the potential, to fulfill Darth Krayt's ambitions and to ensure that the Sith would thrive once more.
As his crimson eyes gaze upon the planet, the Sith's lips curl into a sinister smile.
And so begins, the doom clock of the galaxy... so shall the One Sith rise again! So shall we, the Sith, thrive once more!!
Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock.

Some initial scouts had been deployed to the planet's surface, gathering what intel they could involving the planet's present state. During which the Sith Lord meditated upon his flagship, feeling the connection of the planet to the Dark Side of the Force. The planet was seemingly alive with the dark energy of the Force, he had even heard rumors that the very ship that brought the Sith here, an ancient Sith Dreadnaught, served as a nexus point within the Sith Temple. Despite this darkness surrounding the planet, it was a thriving world, unlike the planets of Ziost and Korriban, relics of a bygone past and that were of no worth to the One Sith. Its untapped resources would certainly work wonders towards renewing the Sith war machine.
As some weeks passed, reports began to trickle in, painting a picture of a divided planet. Since the losses, incurred by the Jedi, during the emergence of the Lost Tribe, the Sith returned to the planet, a shadow of their former selves. They rebuilt Tahv and continued to rule, but it was tenuous at best. During the reign of the past four Grand Lords, leading up to the last of the Vol dynasty, a number of force sensitive warlords sprung up, attempting to overthrow the Sith's grip upon the planet. Keshtah Major was the first major loss with a series of rebellions threw the Sith off that continent, establishing several petty successor states. The military traditions of the previous society, before their conquest by the Sith, endured and ensured a thriving military population. This continent would require a forceful hand in the future.
The news of Keshtar Minor was just as bad. With the death of the last Grand Lord, the Vol dynasty came to an end, causing a conflict among the withered ranks of the Lost Tribe. This only provoked further conflict as Keshiri natives rose up in revolt, forcing the Sith to retreat to the Takara Mountains, their last bastion. With the departure of the Sith, the Keshiri fell upon each other as a number of kings rose, establishing new states that dotted the landscape. The most major of them were located in the former capital of Tahv and around the Ragnos Lakes. These petty rulers sought to fight with each, ensuring a near constant era of warfare.
From what he had read, Malvus could see that the planet was ripe for reunification under new leadership. However, the first task would be to forcefully ensure the cooperation of the Lost Tribe, which Malvus labeled as the Korsin Sith, after the very first Grand Lord. If they could gain their assets, it would help in long run as they were native themselves to Kesh after many thousands of years of ruling this planet. Once the mountains and the Temple were secure, further steps would be taken to either subjugate or persuade the lesser Kings to an alliance or integration into the One Sith, the first steps towards a renewed unification.
In the end, the One Sith would rule this world as a united force with plenty of manpower and resources to make them powerful once more.

The Skystalker dropped from hyperspace first. The Dauntless-class Heavy Cruiser serving as the flagship of the rest of the fleet that dropped out of hyperspace a few moments later. The three Harrower-class Dreadnoughts and four Liberator Carrier-Cruiser's formed up around the Skystalker, reporting in their status. Ifrit stood in front of the holoprojector table that was displaying Kesh, along with the forces of Malvus, and his own fleet as it reported in. Status boxes popping up to inform him of their condition. For a first run, the fleet was doing well so far.
Information started to flow in then, with status reports of what Malvus' forces had learned of the surface situation. Where Vandelhelm had been a fairly peaceful world. Kesh was in a state of disarray, constantly at war with itself. He reached out and manipulated the controls of the holo table, zooming in on different areas to read the intel associated with them. He could not help but wonder if this was what the ultimate fate of the One Sith would be. He might be physically blind, for all intents and purposes, but he was not truly blind. The Sith craved power and control. The past had proven that such ambitions would lead to the downfall of a unified Sith Order.
Whether that would be the case again or not, remained to be seen. But until such time, he would continue along this path. The One Sith were a means to an end for him. With their aide, he would strike back at the Jedi that had betrayed him, and prepare for what was yet to come. He activated some controls then, switching it back to the orbital view. With the situation reviewed, he then opened a line to Malvus' Bulwark known as the Overlord. Causing a holoimage of himself to appear before the Sith Greetings Malvus... Diligently at work again I see. So... What is the plan? I imagine the others will be joining us soon?

Luxeria spent most of her time focusing her mind in deep meditations as she continued to develop her skills over the mind. It would always be the power he craved over all else, though she had grown considerably since coming under the training of Malvus. He had done well to break the barriers that held her back. She was now quite skilled in combat, already able to fend off some Jedi at the level of Knight, having killed a few in recent battles. And she strive to keep progressing forward. Most things had a point in which nothing more could be learned. When she'd reach that point in a certain skill, she'd then divert that focus into another. There was much to learn, more than a simple life could grant. In this, there was never an excuse as to why she should allow herself to become satisfied with her abilities.
For now, though, she meditated in her room, six purple orbs floating around her, each following different paths, spinning on multiple axis at once. She desired a focus so sharp that it could slip through the tightest defense, pierce through most of any resistance. She would become the manifestation of a goddess, her power to sway even the strongest to follow her willingly. In the end, she wished to be capable of making such subtle changes in ones mind that they eventually believe and follow her of their own free will. It was in this she felt she'd reach the pinnacle of mind manipulation. She was Luxeria, the Goddess of Illumination, bringer of truth. That was her goal at least.
Until the time came when they would descend to the planet and take it for themselves, she would continue to shift between meditation and physical training, preparing herself for any encounter.

As time passed on, the orbs that floated around Luxeria came to a stop in front of her and settled slowly onto the ground before her. Taking in a deep breath and letting it out in an equally deep sigh, her forest green eyes opened and gazed at her orbs. During her travels to gather up the things needed for her lightsaber, she had remade her orbs, crafting them from Phrik metal so that she utilize them in combat against lightsabers. It had been a solid theory in her mind, one that had been proven in the siege of Vandelhelm. They worked in a similar way as telekinetic lightsaber combat, but the shape and simple reality threw her opponents for a loop. With them she could attack, defend, and even lock the blades of her opponents. And with six of them floating around, it made it harder to keep direct focus on them if utilized effectively.
She then held out her hands as her lightsaber floated from her bed and into them. She looked it over, still taking in the feel of it, amazed at how it had come out. It was certainly an elegant looking weapon. It wasn't simple in its design, something that she sought to get away from. This weapon was meant to be a reflection of herself and such everything needed to express her personality and mindset, not just her fighting style. The black chrome of the main shaft gave it a dark appearance, but held a bit of shine unlike a full black hilt, almost like sunlight shining through a dark visor. Crimson tribal designs lay as a second layer of metal that latched to the main shaft and were outlined in a thin strip of electrum. Adding something a bit different than what she had seen thus far on any other hilt was a small bit of dark brown marble that circled around the activation stud, which was accented in a cyan jewel. To her, it reflected her dark beauty and attention to detail in appearance. Right from the start, it was meant to be something that caught one's attention. And above all, the hilt was crafted from Phrik to be lightweight, perfect for her physical strength, as well as lightsaber resistant so not to lose it so easily in battle.
Yet, she knew better than to make it look as it did without ensuring it functioned as it needed to. It was here that the attention to her fighting style and approach to her focus was revealed. The crystals inside was a Hurrikane crystal that gave it its purple color. It also aided her in penetrating her opponent's defenses, be it physical or mental. Between the Rubat and Velmorite crystals, the blade was thin and well defined, looking almost like a regular metal blade. This allowed her to track the blade better, to make better strikes, and made her movements more fluid and graceful. Seeing that she was a mixed user of both Makashi and Ataru, it was the better choice she saw in the blade's make up. And with the three focusing crystals in place, she could use it underwater should it be necessary.
But the crystals weren't the only details she thought on. The other components finished out the assemble. A fencing emitter was added so that the blade was better suited for parrying attacks as Makashi was less about straight blocks and more aimed in parries. An Ossus dueling lens was used to have a highly focused blade for fine tuned control, control being something she prized over most other attributes. Finally, an Ion energy cell was used instead of the standard Diatium power cell most hilts used to make it a bit more powerful and to be more devastating to both droids and organics should her blows be glancing attacks instead of actually dismemberment.
After weeks of studying and researching and months of hunting down everything needed, she had a saber that truly fit her. But her time doing so taught her even more. This was no mere tool she had created. Tuning it, crafting it had truly made it a part of her. She could feel its power and knew it wouldn't fail her. Tied to her it would respond to her every need without fail. While connect to her, being one with her, it was a separate entity. It deserved a name. She had thought through many, as well thinking of different languages that worked best. By the time she had finished putting it together on her way back to Eriadu, she had found the perfect name: Kyana Rendi. It meant Radiant Goddess. A fitting name she thought. And with that, it had been finished, ready for the battles that arrived on Vandelhelm shortly after. But with that knowledge, came another bit of understanding. What Malvus had told her about her lightsaber and it being her life, was a false statement. A lightsaber wasn't her life. To her, it meant that without it, she'd fall, that everything she knew and could do rested within it. But that wasn't the case. Her few minutes with Gavin revealed the need to be skilled in unarmed combat should she be without a weapon. It was proven in her time searching for the components of her lightsaber, as well as one of the Jedi on Vandelhelm. Even without her saber, she defeated her enemies. No, her life was her knowledge, her power, and her abilities. With them, she would overcome any obstacle, no matter what she had to utilize as a weapon.
Giving the hilt a smile, she stood to her feet and held it out in front of her with both hands before pressing he cyan jewel and letting the blade surge to life. Her left hand then left the hilt as the blade move closer to her, moving up the side of it, just far enough as to not be harmed by it. To her, it was perfect and nothing was better suited to be her partner. Stepping out she began to navigate the blade around her, keeping it close to her body as she spun it, conisdering there wasn't that much room between her and the items that surrounded her. It would provide good focus and control training for her, as well as let her touch into the defensive movement of Form III's Soresu.

Malvus was still gazing out at Kesh as Lord Ifrit's holoimage appeared behind him on the command bridge. An officer came up, handing him a fresh report from their surface scouts. The Sith Lord skimmed it quietly before setting the report down to answer the questions poised by their fellow Sith.
Kesh is a planet of isolation and natural resources, Lord Ifrit... its a Sith World, far away from the conflicts and Jedi that are known for sniffing our trail too much once they catch the scent. Here, in Wild Space, we can prosper, reform and rebuild without interference. This planet has resources, manpower and a history with the Sith.
His eyes gazed downward once more at the rotating planet.
It is not barren like Korriban or an ice ball like Ziost... but a vibrant world, teeming with life that we can exploit for our greater ambitions and gains! These people have only known war and disunity, but with the One Sith, we will be seen as their saviors, their uniters... and we will make this planet a true Sith world.
He turns to an officer who goes off to fetch the Sith Lord's apprentice. Landfall was to begin very shortly.

Luxeria's exercises came to a halt as she heard the knocking at the door. She permitted entry and the officer entered, speaking to her of Malvus's request to join him. She gave a nod and dismissed him. The time had finally come. She was ready to stretch out and spread her wings a bit more. Vandelhelm was a good test of her current abilities, but it didn't let all come to the surface. She hoped she would get the chance to see where she stood in other abilities as well. Extingushing her saber, she placed it at her side and gathered her orbs before departing to meet with Malvus.
Her steps were swift as she made her way to the command bridge where her master waited. She walked up beside him, gazing out at the planet below. "I take it we are almost ready to begin our work, Master?"

Malvus was what Ifrit considered to be a true believer. A Zealot if you will. He saw beyond the immediate concerns and squabbles that other Sith got caught up in. The man had a long game plan to play and nothing would sway him from that path. It was admirable. In fact, if it was not for Malvus, Ifrit would not have joined the reborn One Sith. And right now, the Sith Lord was proving again why Ifrit liked him so much. He had thought this move through, and was taking every precaution to ensure their success. Perhaps he might learn something, if he stayed around long enough A wise tactical move... I expected no less of you. Very well, I shall meet you ground side. We shall purge the unworthy. See you down there... With that, Ifrit cut the line to Malvus' ship. He then turned around to face Banríon and Zyara. The two women whom he had altered beyond their original forms and had given command of his forces to. They had both proven their loyalty to him, and he was certain they would continue to do so. No matter what path he chose Prepare your troops. We make for the surface!
By your command...
As you wish Master... The pair took their leave of the bridge then, at which point, Ikaros approached him. She and her sister remained the least changed of his lieutenants. The only alterations he had made to them, were the protective tattoos he had given them, during his training. Wards which had protected them both for some time. As he looked at Ikaros, he sensed some hesitation from her. Or perhaps it was jealousy. He was not quite sure You are my most faithful and oldest companion Ikaros. Why are you uneasy?
I... I don't know. Just... Something does not feel right...
Those two could only be bested by you, my dear Ikaros. They will not fail...
And yet you have used your powers on them, more than on me...
To what end? There were improvements to be made, short comings to be filled. You are as you should be. Perfect in almost every way. To change you, would be to admit that I had made some mistake when I chose you... Do not fret. Now, prepare for battle....
Very well Master... A few minutes later, and a number of transports were launched from Ifrit's fleet, filled with all manner of creatures. All of them ready to take Kesh

He recalled when she first arrived, her training incomplete and perverted by the Order of Ruin. They would have made her weak and only brought a quick demise to this woman's potential and life. Now, she stood above all the rising stars among the ranks of Sith that followed Lord Malvus. She would become a worthy Dark Lady of the Sith upon the conclusion of her training. With her training becoming more and more advanced, as well as her skills, Malvus began contemplating more ways to advance them.Today we reach a milestone, Luxeria. Especially with you as my apprentice. One more trial, before they headed for the surface of Kesh.Tell me, Luxeria, do you have anyone who you view as a friend or ally among the ranks of your fellow peers? Among the ranks of other Sith apprentices within our order?

A milestone, especially as his apprentice? She thought on the words, wondering just what he meant by them. Perhaps she'd begin a whole new level of training under, taking her skills and abilities to new heights. It really was the only logical thing she could think on. As for the more general milestone, she expected it had something to due with the coming invasion. She didn't have the knowledge of this place like Malvus, nor truly understood the depth of what this place meant to the Sith. But she had quickly gathered that this operation was beyond any that she had been apart of thus far. From reclaiming Alzoc III, to purging heretic Sith from a couple locations, even eliminating the Jedi from a valuable word to their expansion, what came here was of a far greater importance.
However, it was the second question she brought to her that made her more curious. It was random considering what was happening. Was he planning on teaming her up with someone, one she trusted as an ally when they went ground-side? Still, she thought on it, trying to sort out any who she really trusted and considered a friend or ally. There were but a few, enough to count on a single hand. Yet, Malvus had asked of a specific group: Sith apprentices within the order. To that, she had a hard time giving an answer. She had spent so much time training, not really concerning herself with relationships of any sort. When considering the Sith as a whole, not just those under Malvus, she didn't have much interaction prior to her apprenticeship with him. In fact, the only apprentice level Sith on the outside was Lura as she was considered a rival and competition, not a friend. The relationship was short lived anyway, due to her depart from the Order of Ruin.
When it came to those under Malvus, the number was still low. The Dark Apostles was a group she really only dealt with when on specific mission and they seemed to keep more to themselves, much like she did. Outside of that, the was Vurkar, the only true person she felt was considered a friend and ally. She trusted him, but from her training with Malvus so far, she wouldn't hesitate to face him, even kill him if that was what was needed of her. Yet, he was passed the level of apprentice, even before she arrived.
After a few moments, dwelling on the question, she shook her head "I can't say that I do, Master. I have done little in the way building any form of relationship with those within the Sith who are considered apprentices. In the end, only Vurkar is one I consider friend and ally among the Sith. Yet, he is not an apprentice. Any others I've encounter within the Sith as a whole are either out of mind, or rivals." She then gave a shrug of her head. "Those tend to be mostly women, though."

The Dark Lord ponders for a moment, she could not do a particular trial then. Perhaps he would find another means to further test his apprentice. A thought occurred within his mind which was shelved away for later. Malvus orders the communication's officer to prepare the troops for landing. Seconds later, the klaxons blared loudly for battle stations. Though Kesh had no ships to fight against their battlecruiser, the crew still needed to be alert for any possibility. Darth Malvus walks away from the bridge, with his apprentice in tow, soon to be joined by other senior members of the One Sith.
Down below in the hangar bay, Sith troopers and warriors began to array with their assigned battalions and making way for their troop transports. Along with Malvus, Luxeria and Vurkar had joined him as well as several other Sith Lords and a few squads of veteran soldiers. As the trio walked towards their transport, Malvus speaks plainly to his son and apprentice.
We are here to enlighten this planet to the true teachings of the Sith! They have fallen from their path and indulged in their petty ambitions... the Lost Tribe made this planet weak, we will make it strong again! With our force, we will subjugate them and show them who are their betters.
Malvus steps onto the rampart, looking down at his followers. He raises a gloved fist.
For the One Sith! For Dominance!!
The hangar bay erupted with a unison response as the soldiers and warriors responded to their undisputable leader. The regent then continues up the ramp to the main hangar of their transport. As the swarms of vessels went forth, so began would the Sith subjugation of Kesh.

It felt odd, if not slightly disturbing, that Malvus didn't continue on with the subject of his question. Why did he wish to know if she had built any friendships? Did her lack thereof eliminate any reason to continue the line of thought? Curiosity surged through her mind at the question and what it meant. One thing that was for certain was that he wouldn't have asked out of simple curiosity. When a question was asked of her it typically involved her training and served some form of importance. But what did her relationship with other Sith apprentices matter to her training?
She pushed the thought to the back of her mind as Malvus made his way out of the bridge for the hangar, ready to embark for the surface. With the slightest shakes of her head, she returned herself to reality and redirected her attention to that which was before her: battle and subjugation. It was more than enough to bring about a small smirk to her lips as her fists tightened at her side ever so slightly. The idea of a fight, the thought of displaying her power, and the notion of those too weak to stand against her on their knees or dead before her had taken its hold on her, giving her the sense of excitement, even purpose. She was always ready to demonstrate her level of power as well as the continuation of its growth.
She glanced over slightly as Vurkar appeared and joined in step with them. As she had stated, he was the only one she considered a friend and ally. She never took the time to interact with any others that might have been on missions, and any she fought with when sparring was left at that alone. But Vurkar had been more. Through a couple engagements she had been his second-in-command. She had fought beside him with more than just the mindset of another warrior, but in some ways, a partner, working in tandem with each other to achieve victory. He had also helped train her a bit and asked the questions that delved into the personal. No other had extended to that level. The only other she had remotely interacted with was Lura when she was under Darth Andor. But she had cared little to know who her sibling apprentice had been before become apart of the Sith, only knowing that she was a beautiful woman capable of great power. That made her a rival and nothing more. But there hadn't been time to bond and change that before her own departure from the Order of Ruin. Still, she didn't feel it would have mattered in the end.
She listened to his words about the goal for this incursion. She merely gave a nod with a stare of sharp and focused eyes. She didn't cry out with the others at Malvus's declaration. It wasn't her style, no matter the instance, but Malvus would know well enough where the thoughts and focus of his apprentice stood on such matters and that she wouldn't disappoint, especially now that she was more confident and experienced in the field. When Malvus made his way into the transport, she let her gaze shift behind her for a moment at the rest of the loading troops, her smirk growing more as she followed her master aboard.
