Bradley set the small ship down on a landing pad near the senate building. He zipped up his sleeveless waistcoat before opening the cockpit and stepped out of the ship. Leaving R3 to watch over the ship, he began walking towards the senate building, his long strides making quick work of the already short distance between the landing pad and the building. He looked up at it, taking in the statues at the entrance and the perfect curvature of the dome. Looking at this building reminded him of those old photos grandfather had, and of the stories he told him, about how many years ago, there had been a Republic that had led the galaxy, creating peace, prosperity, and freedom to all within its borders. That peace was enforced by the Jedi, an ancient order that had connected wit the Force to grant them otherworldly powers Then, or so grandpa had said, came the Clone Wars, in which those same Jedi fought alongside the clone army, that those same clones had massacred the Jedi, and a tyrannical empire took its place. He shook his head. Those stories told of the heroic exploits of the old Jedi. He was part of a new generation, and in any case, he had a meeting to get ready for. He entered the senate building, relishing the cool air on his exposed arms. He decided that he would reminisce on the past later, as for now, he had the future to look forward to. Victor had been on his way into the Senate building, with Angel and Phoenix close behind, when Angel stopped and pulled on his sleeve. He stopped and looked back at her, and then towards where she was pointing. Standing there, was a young man with crazy looking hair, and the unmistakeable shape of a lightsaber attached to his belt. Victor pulled out his datapad and took a picture of Bradley. The database then ran the picture against every known Jedi, before coming back without a result. He nodded to the siblings, before making his way over to the young man, as he put his datapad away "Welcome stranger. Might I be able to assist you?"

As Victor asked him for assistance, Bradley called upon the Force, using it to read his thoughts. He could tell simply by looking at him he was a man of great importance. From his thoughts, he realized he was one of the most important people here. "Hello. I'm Bradley, and I believe that you are the person I should be talking to. I am a Jedi, but at the same time, I am not a Jedi. I am what you might call a Grey Force user. I can call upon both the light and the dark, and this strengthens my abilities with the Force. I am here, because I believe my skills could be of use to you." He paused for a moment before continuing. "I know that you ally yourself with the Jedi, so I know that I can trust you. Hence, I would like to offer my skills to you, however you choose to use them."

Angel and Phoenix studied Bradley with mild curiosity, keeping their own thoughts protected. Victor had heard tales of Grey Jedi, as they were more commonly known. Some existed within the strictures of the Jedi Order, others were beyond its jurisdiction. Bradley, it seemed, fell into the latter category. While it may have been prudent to direct him to the order, Victor was fairly certain that would be pointless. Bradley had come here to sign up and join the war effort. Better to ensure he did so with the Galactic Alliance, than risk turning him away and towards the First Order "You most certainly have come to the right place. Allow me to introduce formally myself, I am Marshal Victor Marshall, of the Galactic Alliance. And we would most certainly appreciate your aide. Whether you call yourself a Jedi, Grey Jedi, or otherwise. So long as you are willing to fight the First Order, than that is what matters most. There is much and more to be done yet..."

He took in the two people standing by the side of Victor. One of them was clearly a man to be reckoned with, a proper warrior. The other was different. She was extremely pretty, but in a black widow sort of way, she didn't look like much. But Bradley had a feeling that she could take down most people with ease, and all with some difficulty. Brushing these thoughts aside, he refocused his attention on the man speaking to him. His senses had proven correct, this man was clearly of some importance. He noted the mention of the First Order, remembering to return to that. "Well, you see, it is my duty to help defend the galaxy against the First Order. You see, I believe that by working with the Galactic Alliance, there is much we can achieve. See, the First Order is not all it is cut out to be. It claims to be the future of the galaxy. However, I think otherwise, and I am willing to fight to protect that. After all, the Old Republic far outlasted the Empire. So," he said while drawing his saber, "I am willing to use my blade to strike down the opponents of the Galactic Alliance."

Victor was quite impressed by Bradley's words. They were very much on the same track where it concerned the First Order. Angel and Phoenix both tensed then, as Bradley drew his saber. But Victor waved them off, with a small hand gesture. They really were far too protective of him sometimes "Agreed. The First Order seeks only to serve itself and the motives of those at the top... Which is why I give you this advice my friend. Do not serve the Galactic Alliance itself, but the people it represents. Governments are all good and well. However, your use of the force should be used for the good and safety of the people. Aiding a government should only ever be incidental..." Angel gave him a brief nudge to the side. causing Victor to trail off as he realised he had started to ramble a little "Ah sorry... Forgive my rudeness. I have read much of what become of the Jedi Order before the fall of the Republic that lead to the rise of the Empire... I am about to undertake a mission to the Hapes Cluster. If you're interested, you're welcome to come along. Who knows, we may end up crossing paths with some FO forces..."

Feeling the tension of the two fellows standing beside him, he reattached his saber to his belt. He then began to think about the request put forward by Victor. He folded his arms, pondering the request for a moment. "Hmm. The Hapes Cluster. Well, it certainly wouldn't hurt to come along, and I could always use the experience. So yes, I will accompany you to the Hapes Cluster. It would be an enjoyable excursion at the very least. So, where should I start. My fighter is landed a short ways from here. Shall I take that or will you be providing transport?"

The pair of Jedi relaxed some more as Bradley put his saber away. It was a bit of a bad habit of theirs to get too overly protective of Victor. And he fully understood their concern. He was also certain that once they got to know Bradley better, they would trust him more. He pulled out his datapad and started entering in docking information and procedures for The Acheron, which he then loaded onto a small datastick. He then handed it to Bradley "Grab your fighter and meet us in orbit aboard the Acheron. It's an MC90 Star Cruiser that you'll be hard pressed to miss. The information you need to dock with it is on this chip, so don't lose it... We've got some quick business picking up a senator to attend to first..."

Bradley toyed with the datastick for a moment before putting it in his pocket. He also felt some of the tension between himself and the other two Jedi vanish, but not all of it. He took note of the ships name and Class, because one could never be to sure about what might happen. "Well then, I will meet you aboard the ship. I will inform you when I am prepared to leave." With that, he bowed slightly before striding off toward his ship.

Victor gave a nod to Bradley, as the man said his goodbyes and headed back to his ship. With their new ally heading to The Acheron, Victor turned and lead the way further into the Senate Building. While he did not foresee there being any problems on this mission, it always paid to be prepared. And whilst he trusted the skill of Angel and Phoenix, it did not hurt to have an extra lightsaber around to lighten their load. After a couple minutes wandering the various hallways and lifts, Victor came to a stop outside an office door. He gave a curt knock, before it opened, allowing him entrance. Sahra turned around, looking away from the window granting her a view out across Mon Calamari's oceans, to settle her gaze upon Victor "So, my escort has arrived at last..." "I apologise for the delay Senator Starmane... I was briefly held up by a new recruit joining our mission" She studied him for a moment, undoubtedly trying to discern if he was telling the truth or not. As it appeared, she seemed to believe him and trust his judgement "Very well. I trust you to know what you're doing... We should get under way on this mission. The Senate has entrusted me with this mission to The Hapes Cluster..." "As you wish Ma'am" Angel and Phoenix formed up beside Sahra, as Victor once more lead the way from the office of the Senator for the Federation of the Double Worlds to the small shuttle hangar in the senate building. Once there, they loaded into a shuttle which headed up into orbit

Krei sry his ship down into the landing space that had been reserved for him. As the ramp of the ship opened up, Alfeus stepped out. Clad in a simple black suit with a white shirt, he looked spotless as ever. He knew that in order for his wishes to be fulfilled, he would need to impress the Triumvir. He strode purposefully into the Senate Building proper, and made his way through the entrance, taking note of the Galactic-Republic style architecture and decor. He walked through the extensive hallways of the Senate Building until he reached a small lobby. The elevator to the Triumverate’s office descended down, and he stepped aboard it, knowing he was expected. He carried with him a thin, long, expensive-looking box. This was a gift for the Triumvir.

As Aurelia walked through the ornately decorated hallways of the senate building, she could almost taste the tension in the air. Though the peace accords had been ratified by the Triumvirs, the task now was analyzing what damage had been done, and to plot a course for the future. The preliminary reports were not good. Thousands, if not millions of people had died, the economy was an unstable mess, and worst of all, there was a split in the military, with some unwilling to accept the treaty. The instabilities seen here were comparable to those seen towards the end of the Galactic Republic, and this troubled her. The First Order would not be so tolerant of the history of Serenno, and would seek to nationalize the vast fortunes of the nobles. Turning into an office, Aurelia noticed fellow senator Mee Deechi of Umbara lost in thought. She knew that the botched attempt at reviving the Confederacy of Independent Systems had been supported by Mee, and he was not pleased with the failure of the Harch, Gulch. Sitting down across from him, she activated the holotable, displaying the economic statistics of the Alliance. Senator Deechi, always a pleasure to see you.

Senator Deechi has just finished a call with the ruling council. Turning to face senator Demici, he rose from his seat. “The same could be said of you, Senator Demici. I was just thinking about the peace. What are your thoughts on it?”

Standash left the meeting with the Triumvirs with even more on her plate. She had to make arrangements and was already thinking of how to make it all work. She was good at that, never having a dull moment, always thinking of the next moves. He was hoping she could get Annelise back from Coruscant. Her former Aid de camp was serving the new leadership as head of staff. The experienced intelligence officer would be an asset in these new responsibilities. She made her way through the halls, letting her presence let others now to get out of her way. Her mind thinking of a million things.

A group of marching feet were heard going in the same direction as her. The military escort of Graemon Gorgano, four Galactic Alliance troopers, were seen from her peripherals as the escort headed towards the main entrance. The newly appointed Intelligence Director then stops, causing his own guard to stop as well. Graemon glances behind him to see Standush in the hallway, his deputy by the order of Triumvir Kitax. An undesirable arrangement which felt like he had a leash from the Galactic Alliance Senate on him.
You don't seem like the type to be in Intelligence services, Senator Thul.
He speaks out to garner her attention.
I know of your experience from the previous government... but as President of the Galactic Alliance Senate, seems like an odd position that you offered to fill to placate Triumvir Kitax. Never took you as someone interested or experienced in Intelligence.

She smiles at the guard of troops. Boys and their toys to make themselves feel big and strong. If you put that much stock in first impressions Director, maybe we should go back in so I could suggest someone else to lead. She spoke in a cool tone, almost joking but keeping her point. I didn't offer, I was expecting Kitax to appoint one of his staff to the role. I was trying to help you get your resolution passed. But I am not as inexperienced as you may think. Alderaan has maintained its independence over the years without a military by having intelligence. Not something we brag about too much. When people see you thinking of yourself as strong, you make yourself a target. Much easier to walk softly and keep the size of your stick to yourself. She offers her hand to the man It is a pleasure to formally meet you of course.

Graemon glances downward at the offered hand of Standush Thul before grasping it firmly within his own gloved hand. The woman had a way with words, no wonder she was President of the Galactic Alliance Senate.
We have met before, Senator. It was before I lost this.
He points to his right eye which was covered by a patch. The Fondorian had refused surgery to get a robotic replacement so sported the stylish eye-patch as a result. Graemon felt it fitted him better than an electrical augmentation.
You were at a Naval Promotion Ceremony on Coruscant. I was named Commodore of the 31st Fondorian Reserve Fleet, later named Pertinax Squadron, of the Core Worlds Battle Group during that ceremony for my services and commendations. That was when the commanding officer of that Admiral Alexi Limpan. He retired a year later if you recall.

Standash smiled and thought. It was likely that she had been at the event, but after so many, they all start to blend together. Then I am sorry to have forgotten you. Should have lost it earlier, would have made you more memorable. She motions to the armed escort. Do you always travel so well protected in a friendly place?

Graemon glances at the four soldiers that escorted him.
You can never be too safe, Senator Thul. Anything can happen and will happen... it is best to be prepared.
Then the Fondorian gestures to his own uniform; dark clothing and styled as a non-decorated military outfit.
Besides, military life has always suited me better.
He then pulls out his datapad before handing it to Senator Thul.
I would recommend gathering what staff and belongings you need for our departure to Bothuwai. The Bothan Spynet has been informed and I have already begun moving the necessary resources to that planet. We will need to set ourselves up immediately and begin the training of agents. We have a lot of ground to recover.

Boys do love their toys. You will understand if the military look doesn't sway me much. We didn't see much of that growing up I will go going separately. My family has a compound just outside the capital. I will be taking a diplomatic trip to Bothuwai to discuss increasing trade with the new planets, and recuperating by a pool... She then lowers her eyes and continues. If I should choose to meet with friends from Mon Cal on my trip, or I go for a meditative retreat in the woods, you will be the first to know.
