Hey everyone,
Your friendly neighborhood Muun here. So I was just wondering, seeing as my character is galavanting across the galaxy with old Separatist stuff and generally causing trouble for the First Order, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in seeing the C.I.S rebooted? This is just a basic concept but the primary idea is they cannot be friends with the First Order. They could (maybe) be allied with the GA. If so, what sort of people would you want composing the ranks of this organization (apart from droids)? Feel free to post ideas in the thread as well as feedback about the idea, good or bad.
(Please note that although I said any feedback, that does NOT mean this can become a space to hate on the prequels. I want CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, not random hate, otherwise I won’t be able to form this into a meaningful organization.)

I can't really see why the C.I.S would return. I mean, the C.I.S opposed the perceived corruption of the Republic Senate and stood in opposition to it. There is no Republic for the C.I.S to oppose. And the Galactic Alliance is kind of a mix of the Republic and C.I.S ideals. There is a Senate for representation. But the Executive Triumvirate acts separate of the Senate, meaning they aren't prone to the corruption that was rampant in both the Republic and C.I.S senates.
I would think a Sith would be very much inline with the First Order... If not them, then one of the three Sith factions that have sprung up recently...

The thing is that the C.I.S (if it were to return) would have seriously changed motives. As in, no longer are they fighting the perceived corruption, but are instead fighting for an idea that I am currently trying to crowdsource. Right now it’s nothing more then a banking clan reborn idea but it could grow, should it gain support.

Fair enough. I will certainly keep an eye on this. But I don't foresee a Sith run government allying with the GA, what with us having the Jedi among our ranks.

Be aware of this too, while the First Order does go with the whole anti-alien sentiment like in lore, I have stated that as long as a character contributes to the cause, race is overlooked ICly. Which is why I have people like Viox, a Zabrak, in my ranks. Otherwise my faction would be very limited in terms of who can join and who can't join. The other Sith factions would also be a better choice, although we are more or less rebuilding and not focusing on war. The One Sith are using the FO's resources, after all, to help rebuild themselves.

Hmmm this might be interesting. It’ll also complicate things further for Death Watch because they still harbor animosity towards the Separatist Alliance for betraying them during the Clone Wars. I personally am not so sure about this, but who knows? It could turn out to be pretty interesting.
