*Haruun Kal (Above the Clouds in Basic, also known as Haruun Kul or Al'Har I) was the home world of the famed Jedi Master Mace Windu. Its capital was Pelek Baw. Haruun Kal appears to be oceanic from space but this "ocean" was in fact a sea of toxic gases brought to the surface by volcanic activity. Only the landmasses that reached into the atmosphere could support life, and thus it was high in the mountains and plateaus where life evolved*

Spontaneous SLThis is the majority of stories written on Haruun Kal. This is because the team of writers on Haruun Kal are mostly running around on missions for other groups or factions. Therefore, as we try to help everyone, our own stories seem to get pushed to the side.

What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here

Long term writers preferred

New players to the Universe will be greeted, then allowed to land in at the Pelek Baw Spaceport. Any new writer to Haruun Kal will be asked to obtain a Planetary Visa to stay planet side. Those that land else where and do not obtain a VISA will be tracked down Planet side (as a non gold planet we can not tell you what you must do IC, but we can Dictate our own characters reactions to a hostile act such as this).

New players will receive answers to OOC questions and RP training via PM's.

To join the story here: Post In orbit, and wait for a response.You may receive a PM asking as to your intentions.

If you are here to in an aggressive nature send a Pm to Murdock or Arden Brandwyn and give us at least 24 hours to write you back so it can be RPed properly.

OOC chat on the boards is banned. Please PM any questions or concerns you may have and refrain from OOC chatter. If you do this, you will receive a Warning PM. Second offense will result in RP training. Third will Result in expulsion from our Story lines.

Important Landmarks

Pelek Baw

Pelek Baw is the capital city of Haruun Kal. It is the city we use for Government, and most of the Council of the Unified Force. During the Clone Wars, the separatist ruled over the Planet using this city. After the Battle of Haruun Kal the planet, and this city, was liberated and the republic stationed military police to stabilize the region. 

~ Pelek Baw Spaceport

The Pelek Baw Spaceport is where visitors and new comers alike land their fighters, freighters, and other types of landing craft. It is also where the Pelek Baw local garrison is stationed. This place is also referred to as Fort Pelek by some of the writing team.

~ Haruun Kal Government Center

The Haruun Kal Government Center is where most new writers to the planet will be directed to obtain their visa to stay on planet. This process is to verify your ships registration, and to see if you are currently wanted on any Unified World under any laws. This is also where any persons that break a law while on any Unified World will be face trial by one of the Judges.

Jedi Temple

The Jedi Temple was founded by the Council of the Unified Force. In it's current state it was rebuilt from the explosions that plagued the temple under the Sith's rule. As the temple is today, it has huge wide open hall ways, that are a labyrinth to confuse and confound any would~be trouble makers. The hallways, and most of the rooms, are lined with flowers and planets brought to the temple by, or gifts for, Master Arden Brandwyn. Master Brandwyn can be found usually tending to the gardens booth inside and outside of the temple.

~ Room of a Thousand Fountains

The Room of a Thousand Fountains is remake of the Room of a Thousand Fountains from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. It different in that it is much larger, and has small wildlife creatures, including fish, birds, and small land mammals. One such notable animal is an Osprey named Nell which was a gift from Jedi Master Aj, to Jedi Master Shan. Upon receiving the gift, Nell (the Osprey) quickly became very protective over the room. Any that enter the room, wishing to do it harm, or disturb the peace of the room have learned exactly why it is best not to bother Nell. However, those seeking peace, serenity, and a place to mediate or learn in peace will be quit at home and Nell will be quite peaceful.

~ Council Chambers

The Council Chambers are where the Council of the Unified Force's High Council hold their meetings, and goings on. Any new member of the C.U.F. will be brought to the High Council for assignment, or to be told of a mission they are to embark on. If you are a new comer to the Temple, this is the easiest place to find.

Current Ruling Faction

Council of the Unified Force is the ruling faction of this planet. Our goals are simple to improve Haruun Kal, (by upgrading IC the facilities and OOC getting people to RP properly.) and to bring peace to the universe. We are growing in numbers and our always looking for new members feel free to look up our user group. Also unless you are a member of the Council of the Unified Force you will not be able to post in the Jedi Temple. Also we have a business on Haruun Kal. We seek the resources that we are able to get from the cloud sea and the asteroid and moon belts. Feel free to ask about this to the above mentioned members.
