A large stage, with a golden arch, red velvet curtains, and a black stage. Screens flank the main stage to provide everyone with a good view of what is happening on the stage. Giant numbers adorn either side of the stage wall, denoting the Ten Year Celebrations

As the time for the start of the Sithies Award Show approaches, the lights dim in the auditorium. Going to a total black out, before the Star Wars overture starts playing from the speakersTen Years of JvS THE SITHIES FINALE
TEN YEARS have passed since the facebook app known as JEDI VS SITH began. To celebrate this great tradition, the writers and characters of JvS gather on TYTHON to celebrate Ten Years of a great site.
The time has now come, to begin these celebrations, with one final SITHIES AWARDS show. Voted on by the writers, to celebrate their favourite peers in each category.
And here, to present these awards, is your host....
WILHELM VAN BUUREN!!! Several pillars of fire lit up along the front of the stage, along with a half dozen fireworks that shot from the arch. The red curtain rushed off to either side. Revealing a giant 1 and 0 set piece in the middle of the stage, with Wilhelm striding out from between the two numbers, a spot light following himWelcome, welcome, welcome to the Ten Year Celebration of JvS and a very special Sithies!!! What an honour it is to be here, on this stage, for one last ride...Wilhelm came to a stop at the front of the stage, clasping his hands togetherTen years... I can't emphasise that enough... Ten years of writing... of characters coming and going... Ten years ago, I didn't even exist. But there are people in this room and abroad that have lasted all that time, through the various incarnations... From the dark ages of 1.0, through the renaissance of 1.5, to the modern day of 2.0. And still, the community continues to evolve and grow and change, as we head into the future. This weekend, we take a look back at where we started and how far we have come, by celebrating some of our favourite writers, and spending some time together getting up to some fun. So... without much further ado... Let's get these awards started!A small podium rose up in front of Wilhelm, while another rose up behind him with an array of awards that were covered in several different clothsThis year, we did our best to make the Sithies about categories that you wanted, voted on by you. And we ended up with quite a few categories. With that in mind, we will be handing out the awards in batches. Tonight, will be the first four categories, while Saturday and Sunday Night will each have five awards handed out. The first of tonights awards.... Is the Favourite Battle/Combat/Duel award! This category was about any type of fight between a pair or set of writers that you enjoyed reading and didn't descend into an utter OOC clusterfrag. The award came down to two nominee's, and after a tie breaker vote was cast, I can announce that the winner is.... Soku Ren Vs Adi!The first cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Soku Ren Vs Adi - WINNER KR-03 Vs Vidalu Na'an
Once the winner had a chance to come to the stage to make a speech, Wilhelm came back to the podiumA big hand to the winners and the nominees. Both very good fights. And now, let us move on to the next award... Tonight, we recognize our Favourite Leader. Someone who has proven to be a leader on JvS either OOC or IC. Each one of these Nominee's has actively contributed to JvS in some form or another, whether it was the IC leadership of a group, or the OOC leadership of many groups. But there can only be one winner, and you all made your voices heard. The winner is.... Nicademus Delvardus IV!The second cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Nicademus Delvardus IV - WINNER Aerandir Calmcacil Aya D'Ordinii Ice Matango Plu Or'dinii
Once more, once the winner had given his speech, Wilhelm returned to the podiumNicademus, it has been a real pleasure... Let us move on to our next category of the night... Favourite Most Improved Writer! Now, this award was a real strange one for many people. At least based upon feedback given over on chat. So, to clear up some confusion... This award was about a writer who had shown a great deal of improvement in their writing, storytelling, or even just their development on the Site in general. Now, that certainly seems like a pretty vast and easy to apply criteria. But after seeing the nominees and the poll results, I must say... It was an amazing field. Each and every one of them has more than proven themselves on JvS, no matter how long or short of a service they may have. But the winner, has certainly stood out here. Ladies and gentlemen, your winner.... Caoimhin Shan! The third cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Caoimhin Shan - WINNER Adelle Bastiel Aerandir Calmcacil Ice Matango Nicademus Delvardus IV Zion Morviael
Wilhelm applauded the winner as he returned to the podium once moreWhat a night it has been so far... Some truly worthwhile favourites. But whether you win or not, each of them is equally deserving of the recognition they have gotten, even just by being nominated... And now, we come to the final award for tonight.... The Most Helpful Writer! I must say, this is a nice category to recognise the work of those writers that have gone out of their way to help both new and old writers on JvS. The votes were close, with the top three separated by a single vote each. But the winner is... Zion Morviael! The fourth and final cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Zion Morviael - WINNER Aerandir Calmcacil Caoimhin Shan Corr Vhett The Admiralty OOC
As thee last winner finished his speech, Wilhelm took the stage once moreAnd that, is a wrap for tonights awards! We will return tomorrow night, to present the next five awards! So stay tuned! And enjoy the celebrations!!!!

*Why was he bothering to arrive at such an event? Normally such frivolities were below him, but yet he felt compelled here regardless. Perhaps it was the fact his name had been attached to one of the awards being presented... for his duel between himself and— What even was the name of his combatant? Oh, there was his name, spoken on stage by the well-dressed presenter: "Adi." Was that it? No last name? No other designation? Just "Adi"? Well, no matter.
He strode up towards the stage, wearing what was apparently the only set of robes he owned, and looked out over the gathering. Many present already he did not recognize... One he did, the mere sight of him eliciting a grimace from the Knight of Ren. Now ignoring him, he regarded the presenter with a nod and took up one of the pair of awards there on the table. He looked it over a moment, an odd sense of pride welling within him...
Then he looked up over the crowd again, the shadow of a smile on his lips.* "I will give my opponent—'Adi,' was it?—this much: He was persistent and resourceful. Had I not taken care to plan ahead, I am not certain how much longer it would have taken to put him down. He fought well enough. And I thank you... and him too I suppose, for finding some enjoyment in it. Perhaps others gathered here will one day be able to experience being on the other end of my blade for themselves..."
*As a way of concluding his speech, he hefted the award high and declared,* "For the First Order!" *There was not as much feedback from this as he had expected. Frowning, he lowered the award and departed the stage.*

A large, hulking, demonic looking form came crashing down to the stage from the rafters. Landing in a crouched position, before it disintegrated into ash as Zion rose to his full height and walked over to the podium, collecting his award as he passed by the stand. Well, this was certainly a nice surprise and change of pace from his regular day to day life. The Sithies gave him a chance to relax and have a little fun before the galaxy set back in and he was back off on another adventure =Zion Morviael= You know, when ever these kinds of things happen and I win something, I never really much know what to say... But thank you to everyone that voted. This isn't by far why I do what I do. But at the same time, it sure feels good to have been nominated and won. Everyone that I was nominated alongside has done an outstanding job helping to welcome new members to the site and point people in the right direction. It was a tight vote, which just further goes to prove how good the competition was, and just how popular we all were. Thank you. Zion then dived off the stage and ran out into the Main Hall area

When Nicademus heard his name announced as the winner, he exhales lightly. As he walked up to the podium to make his speech, the Imperial's writer thought of all the memories and achievements made throughout his ten years within this universe. To be the winner of his first Sithie, it was definitely a way to reach that tenth anniversary with a bang. His first and last Sithie, who would have thought.
The Supreme Commander walks up to the podium, still dressed in his plain black fabric military uniform. With no speech prepared prior, he sought to wing it.
My first Sithie... its quite the achievement. I wish to first say that, to all the other nominees, you are all great leaders. I remember all of you and seen your work, as said leaders, within the universe and OOC community. You are great models for how leaders should be and should act. We can only hope that more, like you, will come along and achieve a spotlight in their time here. Yet, more importantly, were your contributions to the site's progression to this stage, whether it was IC and OOC. I believe that is something we are all grateful for.
Nicademus takes a pause.
This Sithie not only acknowledges what I have done and represents what I have achieved, but represents, especially, those who helped me throughout these ten years. Those who helped me forge the First Order and past factions, those who I view as my friends, my comrades-in-arms, and those who are no longer with us today, but have left their mark upon my history here. And those who made me keep coming back to this site, for a decade now. For without their help, this would not have been achieved.
Nicademus looks out at the crowd present.
I thank the community for giving this award to me. I congratulate all the nominees, in this category and others, for their achievements and their efforts. May you all continue to shine among the stars of our galaxy.

The red curtain parts once more, as Wilhelm takes the stage for the nights awards. He stopped at the front of the stage, as the podium rose in front of him once more. The second podium rose behind him then, with a new second of awards and cloths covering themAnd we are back, for a second night of awards presentations! Last night was a hell of a ride, with some great categories and some very close wins! And tonight is no exception! So, let's get the ball rolling! And start with the Favourite Non-Human Character! The galaxy is full of alien species, proper aliens! They come in various shapes and sizes and don't necessarily look like us, or even have a biology that is organic! And tonight, we celebrate their strangeness and their writers choice to choose something that is not human! After tallying the votes, the winner is.... Illaria Ren!The first cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Illaria Ren - WINNER Lanette Shan Terr (LE-02) Leigh (LE-03) Rawkill Tsutmigaint 'Mig'
Once the winner had a chance to come to the stage to make a speech, Wilhelm came back to the podiumI might be accused of bias, but she is smokin'! Congratulations! Now, keeping with the theme of the previous award, it is time to move onto the Favourite Non-Force Character! These are characters that, in a galaxy where the force exists, have chosen to be without any skill or ability to use it, what so ever! They get by on their own sheer luck and regular abilities! And let me tell you... It's no easy task. As a former force user, this galaxy is crazy! So I say, kudos to every one of you! And now, the winner is... Galdaart Fel!The second cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Galdaart Fel - WINNER Azria Delvardus Liya Tawaza Nicademus Delvardus IV Nicolina Foresi
Wilhelm came striding back to the podium, giving a round of applause to the winnerWell done! And another round of applause for all those that were nominated! They all make it look far too easy... And now we come to our next award for the evening... Favourite Human/Near-Human Character! These people could have been anything in the galaxy. But instead, they chose to keep themselves somewhat grounded in a galaxy of extraordinary beings. They have shown us what it means to be human. While some of our nominee's may have lekku, many are almost as ordinary looking as you or I. But one amongst them, is your favourite more than most. And the winner is... Johnathan Castle! The third cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Johnathan Castle - WINNER Adelle Bastiel Harnan Ren Raven Alora Serrin Roma
Once the new winner had given his speech, Wilhelm returned to the podium, leaning against it a little for a momentWe are halfway through the awards! And what fun it has been... Everybody here, is a winner. Whether you got nominated for an award or not. I hope you all know that! And now, let's keep on going! Next up, is the Favourite Mandalorian!Oya Mando'ade! This one is for all you bucket heads out there! It is good to see you guys have finally managed to get yourselves back together with a decent Mand'alor... Of course I'm not biased! All of these nominee's are great, and some have left a more lasting impression on JvS than others, and our winner tonight is no exception! Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for... Corr Vhett! The fourth cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Corr Vhett - WINNER Damocles Ordo Non-Com Or'dinii Reyn Skirata
When the winner cleared the stage, Wilhelm returned to the podium for the last award of the eveningIt's going to be awkward back on Mandalore for Corr, especially after beating the Mand'alor... And now we come to the final award for the evening! Favourite Comedic Relief! These characters make us cry... with laughter! No matter where they are, no matter what they're doing... hilarity almost always ensues! There was a good field of nominees for this one... But from the very get go, I think we all knew who the clear winner was... Han Der! Wait, what? Oh, sorry... I mean... Clem! The fifth and final cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Clem - WINNER Darth Bacon Han Der Kit "Zee" Zeevex
One the final winner of the night had done his speech, and any mess caused was cleaned up, Wilhelm took the stage for the final time for the nightAnd we come to a close, for another night! Come back tomorrow, when we present the final five awards! Until then! Have fun!!

Fel had known that ten years was important. Ten years gets acknowledged, even by the least nostalgic or sentimental. Ten years gets a nod, or a tip of the hat, even by a casual observer or acquaintance. Ten years is an arrival, or occasionally a coming-of-age. Ten years. A decade. You know when there's a Proper Name for a period of time, it's a big one. As for Fel -- he hadn't expected to be here, ten years later. Let alone receiving a badge of honour from his fellow writers and peers in this universe. It was a big moment, dear reader. Believe me, it is not without a dose of humility that Galdaart Fel steps to the stage.
Good evening. I'd like to begin by saying a heartfelt congratulations to Jedi vs. Sith, for being the place we've all been congregating for all these years to tell stories, and to grow as people. When I first came to this place, I was a twenty-nine-year-old, just starting out on his second career -- full of hope and expectations. An entire world laid out before me. In those days, twenty-nine felt awfully old on the JvS boards, as I imagined the median age to be about half that. Today I am forty, with a wife and child. I have loved, and lost in the last ten years, as have we all. My world has changed. I am a very different person today than the man who first wrote on these boards, but Galdaart Fel is very much as we first found him. Gruff, impatient, fiery, idealistic, flawed, loyal... and maybe a little melancholy. I take great comfort in writing him on a daily basis, as he is a direct link to who I was back when, and in a lot of ways, he still represents a simplicity of creed that I still envy and yearn for today. He wants nothing more than the wind in his hair, a crew by his side, and freedom.
What a crew, by my side. I would not be here without the varied and exceptional talents of the characters in my crew. (I will list them all IC, as -- to be honest -- I don't even know them all OOC.) Karana Malora, Liya Tawaza, Daniel Logan, Oz Griffin, Jace Stealer, Wade Connors, Mack Revette, Seros Darklighter, Dazac, Dante Deveaux, Taralorn Melvarrik, Myranda Ghomesz, Scrapheap, and Wrench. There are more I'm missing -- forgive me. Likewise, we'd be nowhere without the enemies we've squared off against over the years, and the many, many allies we've travelled with. Thank you, all.
There is a LOT of good writing out there in the Non-Force camp. I need to acknowledge the excellent writing of every nominee in this category -- I have not written with all of you, but for those I have traded paragraphs with, I have enjoyed every moment. And those of you I haven't -- there's more years yet to come. In this same vein, I'd also like to send congratulations out to anyone who chooses to write a Non-Force character. I've always been happy playing a micro character in a site filled with macro beings. It's not always an easy road, but it is incredibly fulfilling and challenging.
I didn't expect to win this. In fact, I didn't even know I had been nominated until it was all over and done. So to stand on this stage and be able to say 'thank you' for ten years of great storytelling, with people I love and respect, is a special honour. Thank you to the Whills and to the site admins for giving us this place to create. Thank you to everyone I have ever written with, both present and departed. And -- while I think of it -- thank you to the fictional characters that thematically lit the spark that gave life to Galdaart Fel. Han Solo, Malcolm Reynolds, Snake Plissken, Max Rockatansky, William Munny, Harry Callahan. And thanks to George Lucas, for creating a world we can all play in.
Funny story, before I go. I've never really liked Galdaart's first name. Never. Back in the days of 1.0, when I discovered there was more than just the X-wing game to play, and I could write an online RP (!!) I used one of those 'what's your Star Wars name?' generators. First three letters of your last name, + first two letters of your first name, + favourite subject in school = Galdaart. I figured, 'what the hell? Not like I'll be using the name for a decade...' As for Fel... well, as the bio states, it was a name he appropriated when he started gaining notoriety flying swoops. It's not his "real" surname. I wonder what it is...

Castle, dressed in the clean and respectable attire of a suit, made his way up to the stage. (His writer was away last night and was unable to get back in time to post right after the awards). Normally the mechanic was dressed in dirty and stained coveralls, torn blue jeans and worn work boots. But this was a special reason to get all dressed up and enjoy the night. While not having been around IC for the past decade, his writer has been around since the very beginning. So to be awarded such a prestigious award for the small amount of time he had been here was incredibly humbling and he was honoured to receive such merit.
"Good evening, fellow JvSers. Ten years. It's hard to believe that this many years has passed since this all started. It's been quite a ride, that is for sure. Ups and downs and everything in between. We've had folks leave and we've gained a few new faces along the way. It has been my pleasure to provide entertainment and story enough to warrant an award such as this. But I didn't do this for myself. I did this for the story, the adventure that JvS provides. And I did it for you, my fellow readers and writers on the site. If there was no audience, there wouldn't be a good story. Simple as that. Without the support from the Whills and the site Admins, none of this would have been possible. It's due to their passion and drive to keep JvS going that has allowed us to come this far. So for that, I thank-you all, from the bottom of my heart. You've granted me ten years of escaping to a galaxy far, far away, where the possibilities are nearly endless. You've introduced me to a lot of wonderful people. People that drive me to be a better writer, create a better story and push the boundaries of my comfort zone. It means a lot to me. I wouldn't have come this far as a writer without the interactions here. I am grateful for every piece of knowledge and wisdom I have gained over the years. And I am incredibly grateful to those who have pushed me to the limits of my comfort zone and got me out in the galaxy, mingling with all of you wonderful people! Thank-you, JvS, for ten years of something special. And thank-you, my fellow JvSers, for being the wonderful bunch of people that you are, and for fueling my passion for all these years!"
Interestingly enough, I have written multiple characters here, but Johnathan Castle was born out of the ambition to takle a different direction. A more human direction. Inspired by the original mechanic of Malcolm Reynolds' crew on Serenity, Bester, and my own experiences as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, I took the idea of him and took a lot of myself and created a character that reflects a lot of who I am. It was challenging to do, but I think I've managed to do the idea justice with Castle. He's come a long ways since I first put him in universe, and I feel he has a long way to go. Hopefully we, as a community, can keep JvS going another ten years! Because Castle's journey is merely beginning to unfold, and I want to see where myself and all of you can take him! I look forward to exploring this universe with you all at some point! Keep up the good work, because without all of you, this would cease to exist. I am and will always be forever thankful to those who thought this was a brilliant idea and brought it to life! You are the real heroes here, working behind the scenes, keeping this place running smoothly! Keep up the good work!

The red velvet curtains opened once more, the pillars of flame and fireworks going off once more as Wilhelm strode out on to the stage once more. However, this time, he was arm in arm with @prarrebeccaelios, who was dressed in a black dress with her hair done up in it's usual Sithies style. The pair came to a stop as the podium rose in front of them whilst the second one containing the awards rose behind themWhat an entrance! They've spared no expense! Ladies and Gentlemen give a round of applause for Rebecca Elios!Thank you... It's truly a pleasure to bee here tonight...The pleasure is all mine my dear. To share the stage with someone as lovely as you... Anyway... Tonight is the final night of awards! To that end, Rebecca and I will be presenting these final awards in turn! Rebecca, take it away!Rebecca smiled at Wilhelm. He really was the true showman of the two. But when needed, she could manage to put words together enough to make a decent speech. She had, after all, presented a couple awards in the past at the Sithies. She just wouldn't be as... eloquent as Wilhelm might have been. She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, before turning back to face the crowdTonight, we gather to hand out the last five awards. And these five awards are almost always the most memorable. And tonight, I have the honour of handing out Favourite Female Character... These are characters that embody what it is to be a female in this galaxy. They have proven they you don't always have to sit and look pretty, or sleep your way across the galaxy. They have and can fight with the best the men have to offer. They have their quirks coughshancestcough but they just make us love them all the more. They are perfect in their imperfections. But while each of them are amazing, there is only one winner, and that is... Karana Malora! The first cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Karana Malora - WINNER Adelle Bastiel Eliana Shan Ice Matango Illaria Ren Vidalu Na'an
Wilhelm and Rebecca returned to the podium once the winner had finished giving her acceptance speechA truly deserving winner. You go girl! And now, I have the pleasure of awarding it's counterpart... Favourite Male Character! Ladies, brace yourselves! This category was filled with some real good lookers, and a couple not so good lookers. But they all are men. And whether they're trying to sign your chest or battle the forces of darkness, they are damn good at it. There are few within this category that I have not interacted with at one point or another. And I can tell you, it's no wonder they have the following that they do. But there is only one favourite, and that winner is.... Adrien Draykon! The second cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Adrien Draykon - WINNER Aerandir Calmcacil Caoimhin Shan Rutil Iorek Zion Morviael
Once the winner had given his speech, Wilhelm and Rebecca returned to the podium, as the lighting took on a darker, red hueI remember the year he signed every chest he could get within reach of... And now, we turn to a darker category... Favourite Darksider! Dark Jedi, Sith, Knights of Ren... We have them all. And some of their best have all been nominated for this category. Some of these entries were surprises, while others were not. But I suppose that could be said of any category tonight. But I think we can agree that everyone on this list has earned their place on it at one point or another. But you voted, and decided that this person earned their place as your favourite. The winner is... Viox Savage! The third cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Viox Savage - WINNER Darth Malvus Harnan Ren Rutil Iorek Soku Ren
As Wilhelm and Rebecca returned to the podium, the lighting took on a lighter, blue hueWhere darkness creeps, the light will always be there, ready to fight back and banish the darkness. I think you all know what award this is... Favourite Lightsider! These are adherents of the light, members of not only the Jedi Order, but various lightsided organizations. Ready and willing to root out evil where ever it may be. This year, there were some amazing nominee's. But from many, there can only be one. And that one, this year, is... Serrin Roma! The fourth cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Serrin Roma - WINNER Adelle Bastiel Aerandir Calmcacil Zion Morviael
When the winner had given their speech. the entire stage went darkLadies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls... Please welcome back to the stage, to present Favourite Overall Writer... Dr Wilhelm Van Buuren and Lady Rebecca Elios! The lights flashed brightly, while several fireworks were let off and the flame pillars ignited once more. Wilhelm and Rebecca stood at the podium as the lights returned to normal and the giant number 10 on the stage was lit up with all sorts of different coloursThank you JACK! Yes, we are drawing to a close tonight, and we have one final award left to give out...Favourite Overall Writer... This is for all you writers that are not limited to just one character, but have many characters. Male, Female, Lightsider, Darksider, Mandalorian, Smuggler, Droid... You have shown you can write a multitude of characters and keep them all engaging...And for the final Sithies... This group of nominees is by far some of our best! And it is a great pleasure to present this award to our winner... From a buxom Jedi Master, to a pair of incestuous twins, and my favourite shape shifter... Ladies and Gentlemen... The winner is... Illaria Ren!The fifth and final cloth was pulled back, to reveal the awards: Illaria Ren - WINNER Caoimhin Shan Ice Matango Zion Morviael
When the winner had given her speech, Wilhelm returned to the stage, as it was cleared of the podiumsWe have come to the end of the awards... And the end of the Sithies! This is a tradition that has lasted many years, but I think we can all agree that it is nice to send this out with a bang! Enjoy the rest of the weekend! And remember... THE AFTER PARTY STARTS NOW!!!

Coming from the Main Hall, Sith Lord and High Admiral Viox Savage made his way up to the stage. Despite the evils he had committed within the galaxy itself, there was still thunderous applause. His first and last Sithie. A fitting way to be recognized. As he reached the center of the stage, the Zabrak cleared his throat and began to speak.
"Thank you all, for this. A surprise, to be sure. But I am thankful. Ten years ago, I began my journey on JvS with no idea on how to RP and with little direction as to where I wanted to head. My journey began on Taris. Where I met Raven Tarkin. After a brief interaction, he sent me on my way to Rhommamool. A place I came to call home for many years. It was on Rhommamool that I started to gain direction and began to improve my skills as an RPer and a writer. In no small part due to the amazing group of people I have come to call friends. Without much direction and no real reason for being there, I met Kalen Grauswein and Darth Praxus. After a rough start, we managed to work together over the following months and created unity among the Sith. A Triumvirate, where we all had equal say and each person's opinion held weight. As time progressed, my skills as a writer improved greatly. And along the way we picked up several people; Amaris Jade, Darth Kruhl, Lady Deathstalker and Darth Planius, just to name a few. It is this group of individuals that helped fuel my passion for Star Wars, and my passion for writing. In the chaotic days of 1.0, we managed to refine our technique and write some amazing stories. From clashing with our neighbors, the Osarian Jedi, including such notable Jedi as Tebana Sor and Aron Kellemen, to fighting the Imperial Alliance, including Cygnus Tarkin, Wanderer, Phoenix Or'dinii, Sarian Kofuri, and Stevan Stormro, just to name a few, we managed to cover it all. And let's not forget the allies we picked up along the way. Ton Grendal of the Grendal Pirate Consortium, Lord Dragus, the Famine Lord of the NOE, Count Kamy of the Iridonian Empire, Keeta Fel, the Queen of Trian. We made some powerful enemies and some formidable allies in our day. If it wasn't for our small group on Rhommamool, I don't think I would have stuck around for as long as I have. So to all of you who helped keep me in the game, pushed me to be the best I could be and fueled my passion, I humbly thank you for all your support over the years. I would not be here without your influence."
The Sith Lord pauses for a moment, reflecting on past victories. Looking back out over the crowd, he continues on.
"I am humbled by the support and appreciate the recognition I have been given. Originally starting off as a clone of Darth Maul in nearly every sense of the word, I have managed to create and build from that idea. Which gave way to the character I am now. It is because of all of you, the readers and the audience, that I have continued to push on. I enjoy writing. And I enjoy entertaining those who follow what I do. Lately I have become more active in the community, due to my passion for Star Wars and my love of this site. It has provided me with countless hours of entertainment and enjoyment. It has also given me a way to vent my anger and frustration when I need to. I creative and positive outlet. I'm sure many can relate to that in some way. I respect all of you, and admire your passion to keep pressing forward with JvS. I'd have been lost a long time ago, had I not had this outlet. I've used it as a crutch and a way to escape reality. It's kept me sane while also managing to drive me insane from time to time. I've walked on both sides of the spectrum, being isolated and on my own, and being part of something much larger. I've been entirely too impatient at times, expecting a posting pace like the days of 1.0, and I've disappeared for months on end with out a word. But I've always been drawn back. Because of my passion and the enjoyment I get out of being apart of this online community. I've set the bar high for the quality of RPing I expect out of myself, and hopefully I can continue to deliver. Here's to another 10 years, JvS! I don't plan on leaving any time soon, and neither do any of my alts. Much love and respect to all of you! It is all of you who make this place what it is! Keep up the great work! Thank you!"
As he finished speaking, the Zabrak inclined his head in acknowledgement of those who made this even happen. Walking down off the stage, the Sith Lord makes his way back to the Main Hall to mingle with the guests that had assembled for such an occasion.

Waitaminute....how the....where....
Hey...he -knew- this place....this was the kriffin' Sithies!!! But how?? This thing had been dead and gone for some time now. Adieumus was thoroughly confused...Yet, he was at peace. He saw the man on stage, and he recognized him as the man that had almost ended his life during Anna's rescue.
"So, his name is Soku Ren. Hmm. Interesting...."
Matango made his way to the stage, and then the podium. He really had no idea what he was gonna say yet. Whatever it was, though...he was damn well gonna say it, and probably get in trouble for it later somehow....seemed to be his lot in life as of lately....
"First and foremost, I would like to thank the members of the Wayward Son Crew....without them, this whole shindig wold not have been possible. They are the backbone of this, the essence of teamwork, camaraderie, and professionalism. Secondly, my opponent, Soku Ren. Kinda glad that you didn't have the chance to off me like you were going to...Really would have put a strain on our relationship, ya know? Driven a real wedge between us." A sly smirk crossed the Arkanian's lips, as he looked at Soku, and winked. "No, seriously, it is an amazing feeling to be chosen for this prestigious award. I pride myself in being the best I can be in the combat arena, and to be tested like this by such a formidable enemy, it is a true honor. Thank you all for showing an old man some love!"
Grinning ear to ear, Adi raised the award above his head. Nodding to Wilhelm, then the crowd, he turned and exited the stage.
