 Mission BriefingAbove the fourth planet in the Both System, known as Bothawui Proper by the Empire, a deep space distress call has been issued from the Bothawui StarYard. Beyond the call for help no transmissions have come from or been accepted by the StarYard. Main power has failed and the stations auxiliary power is slowly failing as well leaving the station cut off from the planet below. Beyond this, and even more troubling - scans from the planet have indicated that all life signs from the StarYard have gone out as well and the relief crews planet-side refuse to go up until the situation has been sorted out. Captain Altair Sirraf and his command team - limping home from their recent defeat above Rendilli come across the distress call and despite their condition have decided to answer the distress call from their old General's homeworld, but not before relaying the call for assistance along all Galactic Alliance and Jedi channels. Taking only a single ship, the so far undamaged Fury-Class Interceptor and only a handful of Troopers, Altair rushes blindly to aide the bothans not knowing what horrors await them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OOC: Greetings JvS. I've been speaking to a few of you already concerning a storyline that i've been throwing together. The above brief is an introduction to the RP i'll be running over Bothawui. For the moment the RP is leaning towards a suspense/horror vibe - if my writing talents are up for the task that is. This board is for any writers interested in joining the fray... main characters, secondary characters, NPC's whatever you feel like writing. At the moment I do not have a plan for First Order Interference but that does not mean that i am against it if any First Order writers feel like joining in - the Distress call of course was broadcasted into space so anyone would have been able to pick up on it and answer it. That being said I do plan - upon the completion of this RP i intend on Bothawui joining the Resistance against the First Order and the StarYard here being a part of that so it will not be destroyed upon completion if it all possible. I appreciate any question from those interested or just curious about the storyline as it picks up! |

I actually meant in the sense that I don't want to overwhelm any chance of the Galactic Alliance actually driving us off as Mr. Sirraf would like to see happen.
And believe me, I have much more discipline under my belt than to engage in such atrocities that were committed over Naboo in the name of the First Order...

Im not against ships showing up - I mean the entire thing does take place on a space station so of course they'll be necessary to get your characters there, but I don't plan on this being a space battle RP. The story is going to take place aboard the space station - so unless there is a legit reason as to why someone would want to blow up the StarYard along the course of the RP and then a fleet in orbit to defend it, I would advise against the thought that a fleet in space would give you any more sway over the course of the RP. Your characters are more than welcome to land upon the space station and take your hand at figuring out what is going on yourselves.

PM me Cain, and give an idea of what you have in mind. Being a suspense style RP I don't want the planning open - keep in mind I do have a few ideas for whats happening already but im up for changes to include people. Besides I'd love to not have to write both sides myself haha
