Hi everyone, Jashin Galfridian here with some spectacular opportunities for RP! Despite a rocky start, I'm proud to say that the proposed Resistance is now a reality. Operating as a part of the Galactic Alliance usergroup, the Resistance will be a sub-faction of the GA that operates with great autonomy. IC we will operate as a hardline rebellion-style group to duke it out (as far as we are able) with the FO during the "Cold War" arc for the site. Ultimately, our goal is to have small fast-paced storylines of about four to six people per SL, with a large focus on stimulating RP on the site, specifically on underused or "abandoned" planets for purposes of rehabilitation. In addition, while there will be plenty of combat, the Resistance will focus more on characters, and less on armies and fleets (in terms of cumbersome sweeping fleet battles). While there will be fleet and army RP, it will be on a small resource-strapped "Rebel" scale. Remember, we're a Resistance, not an Empire; along that vein, we're trying to keep to as close to canon as possible, keeping the "undermanned and underfunded" motif of the Resistance, while using much of their tech and weaponry. Already we've gained a lot of interest, with many of you PMing our leadership directly. Rest assured that despite our cancellation of our usergroup request, than everything remains the same; leadership, organization, and goals. Simply we will be a part of the GA for purposes of site unification. Im more than Game!
My RP right now is very much along the Resistance Style of RP. My army is crumbling and I've been losing more and more of it with each RP with the First Order that I've undergone - so right now my army is a lot like the Resistance at the end of SW VIII. I'm going to be going through a lot of rebuilding and recruiting RPs over the next few months but the end goal would be building an army usable by the Galactic Alliance. That's the hope anyways, and like Cassian/Jyn said "Rebellion's are built on hope"
Im currently in the planning phases of getting some people together for a recapture/recovery of the StarYard on Bothawui - since we've lost Rendili (in the process of losing Rendili - meh timelines) Anyone interested in joining up on that storyline we've got our own thread or you can PM me directly, but it will still be a few weeks before that starts up, so you've got time.

I will join as a sort of Princess Leia style character. Basically, I will be using my status as leader of Cloud City to supply the Resistance, as well as espionage etc.

Heh My army doesn't really have a political officer or anything like that but if you would like Bespin to play host to one of my Shadowalkers I still have... 14 left somewhere in the universe.

I may throw Fondor and my alt, Graemon Gorgano, into this mixture here. Still stick with the Galactic Alliance obviously, but his proximity to the Core Region territories of the First Order could be of help to the Resistance. Not to mention a good shipyard.

I might be willing to toss my hat into the fold here. Looks like you could use a fleet, and for the time being, my fleet is at 100% operational capacity. Though that will be subject to change by joining the Resistance...but it could be fun.

Hello everyone. Nothing to see here, just a friendly neighborhood freighter pilot who loves to donate gently used crates full of weapons she finds. They keep falling off the back of hovercraft. Strange how that happens, you know?

Whoo, back from Christmas break everyone. To broadly touch on what everyone has said; Any and all are welcome! In fact the more the merrier. I'd ask anyone interested to kindly join the GA user group - as we are essentially synonymous with each other. Further, we are gathering in Contruum orbit to RP out the "watching" of the treaty signing. This is more an excuse for us tog et to know one another and get the first steps of this RP started more than anything else  . Anyone is welcome to travel to Contruum to join the RP - though it should be noted that only Resistance sympathizers and potential members would really know about it. |

Other thing is that the Counts of Serenno know about it because they were involved in the acquisition of the planet. If you want the information from them, you can do what I did and go to Serenno for it.
You have to be an aristocrat to go there though. They aren’t allowing other types in.
