Skirmish on Raxus Prime - Planning and Discussion Thread

An idea born in chat gave rise to this little premise of a smaller scale conflict between forces that could easily skip the hassle of fleet nonsense. Simply put, teams from both the Galactic Alliance and the First Order (and possibly other factions) would be on Raxus Prime, scavenging for materials that could be useful for recycling. That's what the world's best for, after all, and would bring a bit more RP to it.

Another interesting angle I considered was "What if this entire RP was done with non-Force—or at least untrained—individuals?" Wouldn't enforce this, but it would certainly be a new dynamic at least for myself.

There's no real overarching plot for this, no big goal or gains (other than whatever may be successfully salvaged). It's just two parties, gathering junk and getting mad about it. I'd be open to the idea of some rarer materials being desirable by both parties, hence a more solid reason for the fighting, but for the most part, a small skirmish RP is all this amounts to.

Who all would be on board with this? And feel free to bring your own ideas to the table as well, but let's do try to keep this smaller in scale.
