Heyo JvS - Valalla is back after a...what...like a six year hiatus? Longer? Who the hell knows or cares anymore.
I did a lot of smuggling around the time of FB JvS, back when it wasn't as cool to be a smuggler - I'm told smugglers are in nowadays, though, and that if ever there was a time to breathe some new life into this place, now is the time.
So...anyone have any RP for a crazy green skinned alien? There's only one rule: don't fall in love. And have alcohol. I guess that's two rules.

Holy. Hell. It's VAL. Bwahaha, wow, that's a blast from the old guard past! I wrote Dante Deveaux, and Arcturus before that, remember me? We pulled off that smuggling job on Coruscant. For the life of me I can't remember what we were smuggling. Welcome back, seriously - we need some more smugglers.
I'd love to strike up some RP. It just so happens I have a TON of cargo I need moved and sold. I'd be willing to cut you a percentage.

Oh yeahhhh...lightsaber crystals, right? And something from the Jedi Temple vault. Man, that was a crazy time, before all the rules and such. It's good to see you still around. As I recall we, um...had some interesting RP. :-* I mean I seem to remember a heated romance subplot during that smuggling run.
I like your character, and the reading I've done so far - kind of a piratey opportunist smuggler trader type of character. Nothing against pirates, but, are there other smugglers on the site, or, is it just me?
Side note, Jashin - is that a Naruto reference? I'd swear that's a Hidan "Jashinism" reference if ever there was one.

Oh, Dante was a womanizer alright. Jashin isn't too much better. Dunno what it is about that side of the family; Arcturus just had gambling problems. But, hey, if you want to pick up where we left off, I'm game - I already have an angry Sith lady who wants to kill Janos - Jashin's oath-brother - and an Echani who wants to cut off Jashin's balls.
As for smugglers, Adrien Draykon, Galdaart Fel, both big names in the old guard smuggling realms. Kinda slow on the posts nowadays, but hey - smuggling crews have always been a might slow like that. Adi Matango is running a kind of crew - not really smugglers, though. More like general troublemakers. You've also got the First Order and Galactic Alliance thing going on atm.
And that IS a Hidan reference. You are literally the first person to get that. Jshin was supposed to be Jashin Hidan, but it was so tacky I went with Galfridian. Building a char around that animalistic selfishness seemed really cool to me - still is.

Hey, I was a heartbreaker myself so no need to justify; us merc types just roll that way it seems like. And, you know what? I like the intro. I'll ship the cargo - be like an ex girlfriend from the past or something. Make it dramatic and complicated. Seems as good as any excuse to get right into the RP.
SH**, I had forgotten about Draykon and Fel, it's pretty sweet they're still around. I take it by their threads that their not exactly hiring, though. No probs. I'm kinda doing the lone wolf thing for now anyway.
Hey, I like the whole Jashinism reference. I wrote a character centered around the sentence "Art is a blast!" so I'm not one to talk about tacky.
Now tell me how bad my font color is (or is not)

It doesn't make my eyes bleed - so long as you keep it that dark. I would not go any lighter, though. I'll PM you the details regarding the cargo, and I'll send you my skype (just texting) so we can hash out some details. I'm kinda stuck in a slow down at the moment, but I can probably figure something out with my writing crew to free me up so we can get some rapid posts shot back and forth.

I never said I wasn't (or wouldn't be) hiring... If I can ever get back to a ship that somewhat belongs to me, that is. My crew is 90% ghosts on this site. Too bad, but that's how it is.
