Hoth was the sixth planet of the remote Hoth system. A desolate world covered with ice and snow, located in the Anoat sector, a rarely-traveled portion of the Outer Rim Territories, it became famous as the one-time location of the Alliance to Restore the Republic's Echo Base during the Galactic Civil War. The base was discovered by the Empire in 3 ABY, precipitating the Battle of Hoth, a major engagement during which the Rebels suffered heavy casualties and lost Echo Base.

- Suggested to PM Endor if you wish to write on Hoth. It's not required but it will help avoid any misunderstandings.
- If you are attacking, please respond to the defenses posted in this guide. If you are visiting for a story or just for funsies, don't worry about asking permission to land. Just come on down and do your thing. The NRA are only interested in protecting Echo Base and won't trouble your character if you go anywhere else.
What to expect as a new RP arrival wanting to write here:
- New players are welcome to join in any roleplays. However it is suggested to PM any players you wish to roleplay with beforehand.
- New players may PM any players involved on the planet to ask for a way to hop in.
- If you wish to join the New Rebel Alliance please pm Endor, who is an acting General of the organization.
- Sith/Imperials WILL be treated with hostility IC if they visit Echo Base, unless they happen to be Ewoks, in which case they may get a pass depending on circumstance.

Hoth consists of three minor factions: The NRA, which have established themselves at Echo Base and Mon Mothma Station in orbit, and are the only group that uses modern technology. The lost tribe of ewoks, more commonly known as the Abominable Snowoks, inhabit the abandoned rebel base at the end of Wampa Valley (WV). The skel tribes occupy the Drift Hills Imperial Outpost (DHI) at the edge of the Frigid Plain and claim the surrounding territory. Natural enemies, an uneasy peace has been brokered between the skel and abominable snowoks by the NRA, who are currently providing both with off-world supplies in exchange for their assistance with the native wildlife and as scouts.
