The First Order
Original thread here.
The First Order is a relatively new power to the galaxy, the physical manifestation of Imperial resurgence in the galaxy. Under the leadership of their founder, Nicademus Delvardus, the First Order has brought a new vision of stability and peace to the systems under its control and a good portion of the galaxy. Stormtroopers and warships of the First Order have been seen across the galaxy and many have felt their influence. They seek nothing but galactic domination under their banners and a new era of peace, dictated by their direction and guided by their hands.
Along with the First Order's primary military personnel, the Knights of Ren, allies of the Imperials, and the Imperial Knights are known for being among the ranks of this nation.
How to Join?
IC: The best way to join the First Order, through the "In Character" path would be to visit the capital of the First Order, Muunilinst. For those desiring to join the Knights of Ren, it is recommended you go to Prakith. Those desiring to be a part of this faction do not need to follow an entry level, they can easily have characters who have been longstanding members within the First Order, whether when it was first created or long before. Any questions can be asked on this thread!
OOC: If you have a character that works best for the First Order, non-force or force-sensitive, formal member or ally, simply request to join the usergroup named The First Order in the usergroup directory on your profile, and a group leader should approve you shortly!
Leadership
Emperor: Nicademus Delvardus IV
Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights: Faina Delvardus
Leader of the Knights of Ren: Soku Ren
Headquarters
The First Order's capital is located on the Outer Rim world of Muunilinst. This is also the headquarter world for the Imperial Knights. For the Knights of Ren, their capital lies in the Deep Core, on the former Sith World of Prakith.
Current Events
The Galactic Alliance has been destroyed, the oldest foe of the Empire has been torn down and their capital world left in ruin. Illaria Ren, the first Empress, has vanished for parts unknown, though only a couple suspect where she may be. With the Empress title vacant for some months, Nicademus decides to take a new wife, for the sake of his young family and himself. His choice falls upon Faina Nikulin, a long time companion and trusted person, perhaps the most trusted in the First Order. Her appointment brings approval from those in the Imperial Military, the public, and the Knights she leads, but the Knights of Ren feel uneasy... their position has changed with the declared death of Illaria. Though Nicademus still plays the delicate game between these two factions, the tensions between the Knights and the Ren could lead to future problems for the Emperor and the Empire.

Structure of the First Order
Headquarters: Imperial Strategic Command
Location: Harnaidan, Muunilinst, Imperial Sector
After the explosion that rocked the former the InterGalactic Banking Clan headquarters, that almost claimed the life of the future Emperor, the remainder of its ruins were demolished. With the modernization, Imperialization, and rebuilding of Harnaidan, the Imperial Strategic Command was built over the former ruins as the very epicenter of the First Order and its shining capital. Here, the Emperor Nicademus Delvardus, along with his family and Empress Illaria, have a vast suite here where they reside and the Emperor daily works if he is not on the battlefield. In addition to the Imperial Family, senior members of the military, the Imperial Knights, the Knights of Ren, and other essential personnel work within the confines of this massive complex, serving both as the epicenter of governance and an imposing fortress that can be seen by all within the city.
The Knights of Ren and the Imperial Knight headquarters are located here, within two separate towers. The Emperor's personal quarters is also located here along with chambers belonging to senior officers and departments of the First Order.
Delvardus Dynasty
Emperor: Nicademus Delvardus IV
Empress: Faina Delvardus
Offspring: Crown Prince Octavian and Princess Fiora
Relatives:
- Baltasar Delvardus, brother of the Emperor, and Field Marshal of the First Order
-
Special Groups of the First Order
Imperial Knights
Grandmaster of the Order: Faina Delvardus
Members of the Imperial Knights: Panno , Brock Ferrum , and @anya
Headquarter(s): Imperial Strategic Command (Imperial Knight Tower) and High Port, Muunilinst
The Imperial Knights were reformed under the patronage of the late Emperor, Cade Fel, who was the ruler of the Second Fel Empire, the Imperial predecessor to the First Order. Despite his strong leadership, the Second Fel Empire fell on hard times and eventually the Imperial Knights, and the remnants of his Empire, were without leadership. That was until the arrival of Nicademus Delvardus to the Deep Core, where the remnants had found a new home. He renewed their patronage and ensured they had a leader to follow and a leader to protect as they did before.
From his time as Supreme Commander of the Deep Core Remnant, to his short tenure as Emperor of the Fifth Galactic Empire, to his more stable rule as Supreme Commander, and later Emperor, of the First Order, the Imperial Knights followed his person, led his armies, and protected him from all threats... even those that came from within their ranks. Despite these incidents, Nicademus continues to have faith in his Knights and hopes that they will serve his son, Octavian, in the future as they serve him now.
In addition, the Emperor desired the most skilled and loyal of their rank to be brought forth. A group of five individuals were selected by the Grandmaster to form the Praetorian Guard, an elite bodyguard of the Emperor. They take vows of silence and are never allowed to speak. Their faces are covered by helmets and their body enclosed in armor. They are highly skilled and proficient in their ability to protect the Emperor.

Knights of Ren
Knights of Ren members: Soku Ren , Harnan Ren , Neith Ren , and Katsumi Ren
Headquarter(s): Muunilinst and Prakith
The Knights of Ren were a mysterious group that was founded by an unknown force user. The first Ren that Nicademus knew of was Soku Ren, an agent of the former Empire that had resurfaced after the exodus to Muunilinst. From this first interaction, the Knights of Ren have become valued allies of the First Order, being gifted the first Resurgent-class Battlecruiser as a sign of this alliance between them and the Imperial nation. Though their numbers are few, they are skilled duelists, seasoned tacticians, and feared both within the First Order and beyond its borders. Their ambitions are relatively unknown, but the agendas and ideals of both the Ren and the Imperials unite them in common cause.
Among their ranks, Illaria Ren, would become Empress by a relationship with the would-be Emperor that eventually gave Nicademus the fruits of a long ambition, offspring to carry on his legacy. By their birth, Nicademus took up the title of Emperor and revived the Empire under the First Order's banner.
Presently, the Knights of Ren have a headquarters within the Imperial Strategic Command while also operating from the Deep Core world of Prakith.

A further note: Due to the lack of information on the Knights of Ren, the writers for the Ren have created their own philosophy and what they interpret as the Knights of Ren. It is recommended you ask them for details if you want to learn more about the JvS rendition of this order.
The Pentad of the First Order
Pentad members: @nithyatandon , Thomas Blackwall [Retired] , Captain Sterling , Captain Aureate , and Captain Blaze
Headquarter(s): Muunilinst (main HQ), but otherwise stationed throughout the Empire
In the aftermath of Third Galactic Civil War, and the establishment of the First Order as an Empire, the newly crowned Emperor, Nicademus, sought out talented individuals within the ranks of the Imperial Military. In the end, five were brought together as a group of specialized commanders and instructors. Each of them commanded a special unit within the Empire's military that were trained to be elite among the elite. With their gathering, Nicademus created a new rank, Captain of the Empire, and bestowed this title among these five individuals. Today, they are known as the Pentad of the First Order, an elite group of commanders that are both respected and feared within the Empire. They are all known for their loyalty to the Empire and the Emperor, fervent in their beliefs of the New Order that was founded by Delvardus.
These five individuals, the Captains known as Nicolina Foresi, Thomas Blackwall, Trech Veers, Erhard Bechtold, and Vermeil Cannady, each have their own unique place within the Empire. Captain Foresi, noted for her black armor, commands the Emperor's Talons, an elite Stormtrooper unit that serves as the Emperor's personal legion. Captain Thomas Blackwall, noted by his standard order with a captain's shoulder attachment, leads Fireteam Castle, an experienced Stormtrooper unit that saw action throughout the Third Galactic Civil War and formerly served under the First Commissar Azria Delvardus. Today, Blackwall and his unit still serve within the Commissariat. Captain Veers, codenamed Sterling and noted for his silver armor, is to command the Stormtrooper Corps that is be trained and led by the Imperial Knights. Bechtold, codenamed Captain Aureate, who wears a suit of gold armor, was once a former Imperial pilot and spokesman for COMPNOR. His abilities were recognized by the Emperor and he was named as the successor to Azria Delvardus, being named First Commissar of the First Order. Finally, Vermeil Cannady, codenamed Captain Blaze, a red armored officer, serves as a Stormtrooper commander for the Knights of Ren.
These five are the top commanders in the eyes of the Emperor. They serve as an example for future Stormtroopers and ensure the rise of the elite within their Corps. If one is present upon the field of battle, be wary of their sharp eyes and agile skills. For they fight with determination than any other Stormtrooper in the First Order.
The Imperial Military
Imperial Army
Significant Commanders: Field Marshal Baltasar Delvardus (NPC) and Thomas Zahn
The Imperial Army of the First Order had undergone some serious reformation that brought it to the forefront of the galaxy as one of the most disciplined and advanced militaries in the galaxy. A new Stormtrooper armor, the upgraded (and unofficially named) Phase IV, was issued alongside a great number of weaponry and vehicles. Among these advancements are the All Terrain MegaCaliber Six, the F-11D blaster, the FWMB-10 repeating blaster, and the All Terrain Mobile Artillery. Such military advancements have been witnessed, in both fear and awe, across the galaxy and upon a number of battlefields.
At present, the top ranking commander within the Imperial Army is the Emperor's brother, Field Marshal Baltasar Delvardus, along with other members of Imperial High Command. Beneath the top tier commanders, the most notable of the Generals is General Thomas Zahn, commander of eight legions of the Imperial Army

Imperial Navy
Significant Commanders: Grand Admiral Harlan Petrovsky [Retired] , Grand Admiral Garrick Needa , and Admiral Julian Arcavius (NPC)
Significant Shipyards: Yaga Minor, Jaemus, Ord Trasi, Kuat, Foerost, Bilbringi, Rendili, and Deep 3
The Imperial Navy, like the Army, has been upgraded with newer and more powerful warships and versatile starfighters. The most significant of these technological marvels is the state-of-the-art Resurgent-class Battlecruiser, an impressive warship of immense firepower and fortitude. It presently serves, not only as a frontline warship, but as the flagship of a number of significant Imperials such as Harnan Ren, who commands the first of these warship, Director Merrik Piett of Imperial Intelligence, and Grand Admiral Harlan Petrovsky. Imperial research has also brought forth a new line of TIE fighters, the two most common being the TIE/fo and the TIE/sf space superiority starfighters, replacing older TIE models as a result. A more recent addition is the elite TIE/vn model, a stealth fighter that has seen little usage, but that is due to it

Commissariat of the First Order
Significant Officers: Captain Aureate and Thomas Blackwall [Retired]
A lesser-known department, unofficially attached to the Imperial Military Research Division on Dubrillion, within the First Order is the Commissariat. The brainchild of the Emperor's intelligent sister, Azria Delvardus, this department serves as a key function behind the First Order. The Commissars are known for their presence within the military, stirring up morale and ensuring it remains strong. In a civilian role, they deliver the propaganda of the First Order effectively and ensure that fervor for the Emperor and the state is strong and alive.
Yet, the most key factor of their existence isther psychological conditioning of Stormtroopers. Unlike previous Empires, the First Order Stormtrooper is drilled not only with necessary military training, but with propaganda to instill loyalty and fervor within each soldier. This breeds a strong-willed and extremely loyal brand of warrior, making it hard to infiltrate the ranks of the Stormtrooper Corps.
Imperial Intelligence
Significant Officers: Merrik Piett and Arkadi Yularen
Headquarter(s): Dubrillion and a secondary headquarter on Muunilinst (High Port and Imperial Strategic Command)
Imperial Intelligence, though revived by the Deep Core Remnant, met a stagnant period during the Fifth Galactic Empire. However, this stagnation continued into the First Order period, as a number of Directors vanished or were demoted due to ineffective practices. In fact, one such Director was executed by the Emperor for his own stupidity and for lying to his superior. The lesson of this Director made it hard for a good successor to be found. Yet, Nicademus put his money on Merrik Piett. As a result, the Emperor was given a more efficient and better structured Imperial Intelligence.
Headquartered on the world of Dubrillion, the Imperial Intelligence has a far-reaching sphere of influence, both within and without the military and throughout the First Order's planets and systems. It is hard to hide from its agents and their Stormtroopers make everyone, even their brothers and sisters, give a second glance. If a shuttle lands on a Star Destroyer, everyone begins to become anxious, wondering who the I.I. is targeting or seeking to achieve. Yet that is the desired effect of the Emperor to ensure commanders and soldiers alike fall in line with the principles, laws, and ideals of the First Order.
Presently, the Imperial Intelligence is led by Merrik Piett, who was elevated to the title of Director shortly before the Battle of Mon Calamari. He has dedicated a number of resources to the establishment of order and the destruction of dissident elements upon a number of borders and newly conquered worlds.
