So, as most of you have probably noticed, I've been doing a fair amount of editing and hashing out the details of the Blackguard Imperium over the past few months.
It has been a slow and time consuming process, but I feel like I've managed to get the gist of it sorted out enough to give us a clear and concise direction.
That said, I did randomly select a handful of you to be Dark Councillors for the Imperium's Dark Council, mostly as placeholders for the time being. However, before I actually move forward with placing it in RP to actually legitimize its creation, I would like to know who would actually be interested in sitting on the Dark Council of the Imperium? If you want to know more, you can check out this link here: -->Blackguard Imperium Database for a fairly in-depth look at the Imperium's structure, and you can also check out the placeholders I had selected as Dark Councillors in the databank as well.
Aside from checking that out, everyone and anyone who feels like they could fit the role of a Councillor can apply and if there is enough interest, I will open up all twelve positions. At the moment, I'm capping it at 5-6 members for the Dark Council, pending interest.
I appreciate your time and effort in this regard, and I thank you all for turning the Blackguard Imperium into what it is now. I couldn't have done it with out all of you!

So, after an unintended and longer than expected hiatus from JvS (and online life in general), I have returned!
I apologize if my sudden departure has or had left anyone hanging in limbo. Circumstances did not allow for me to give any sort of prior warning about my absence. I have missed this place, however. And I am looking forward to being back.
So far, my capacity and abilities to post will be restricted to weekends, as my job takes me away from home during the week and keeps me busy for a solid 10-12 hours a day. Aside from that, I will be doing my best to catch up and hopefully get a few posts up this weekend.
If there are any areas that urgently need my attention, please bring that to my attention and I will get to it as quickly as possible.
And as always, your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated!

So, just to bring out some details as to my whereabouts lately;
I am currently dealing with some major real life issues, such as my significant other being in the hospital after having major surgery and some complications due to that. So my head isn't in the game right now. Some of you, I have spoken to in private about these matters, others, I figured I'd give some details here.
I will, however, do my best to keep things moving along, however, if I suddenly disappear without a trace, I am hoping that @supremeleader can step up and keep things moving in my absence. I appreciate your patience.

UPDATE:
It's been a long and arduous month since I've last been on here. February was particularly brutal. My fiancé's grandfather passed away on February 14th, which was hard enough on us, and on the 18th my own grandfather passed away. All in all, February was certainly less than ideal. Adding on to the stress of regular life (family loss excluded), I've also had to deal with rebuilding the engine in my truck and my fiancé's fluctuating health problems.
It's been stressful, exhausting, both mentally and physically draining and just downright rough for the past little while. However, on the upside, I believe things are beginning to calm down enough now that I have the energy, ambition and some motivation to return to JvS, at the very least, to finish off my plan of retiring the character of Viox. Giving my main, a character of 10+ years of dedication the send off I feel he deserves is something I've been contemplating for the past several months now. After that, I may or may not stick around with my alts. I am undecided on that yet. Depending on how long writing out Viox takes and the results from that may determine my continued tenure on the site or not. Rest assured, I will do my best to keep all of you informed.
