Blackguard Reborn

The Blackguard Reborn was the result of three combinations that allowed for the faction's 'rebirth'. The first; Viox Savage, self-proclaimed Dark King of Iridonia, and his need to establish a following of dark side practitioners and Sith to best utilize the Iridonian Sith Academy. The second; Darth Malvus rising out of the ashes of the One Sith with his remaining followers seeking purpose for the Sith. And the third; the opportunity to resurrect an old dark side cult, the original Blackguard, that allowed dark siders from all walks to join their cause. While still being Sith led and loosely based off of some Sith traditions, the Blackguard Reborn has begun creating its own philosophy and working towards uniting the Sith and dark side users of the galaxy under one banner, determined to do away with all the infighting and power struggles that normally accompanied the archaic traditions of the Sith.

Snuffing out the light and unifying all aspects of the dark are the core components of the Blackguard. Order and prosperity among the Sith, and ultimately the Dark Side itself, will fall into place once all other unstable elements have been purged and redirected towards the proper path.

In the past several months, the Blackguard Reborn was slowly consolidated and reformed into the Blackguard Imperium. The reformation allowed the Blackguard's ground forces to become more regimented and organized, allowing for a significantly stronger army than before, its Navy to be properly reformed under the Spirian Reform, allowing for a surge in starship creation and production, and it united its citizens under a single banner.



How to Join:
In Character (IC): The best way to join the Blackguard Imperium would be to arrive in orbit over Mustafar, as this is the HQ for the Blackguard Imperium. Joining this group does not mean you have to be force-sensitive. There are plenty of opportunities to write and RP as many different characters within the Blackguard. If wishing to join the ranks of the Blackguard as a force-sensitive character, there are several members that would be willing to help you out. Any questions can be asked here on this thread.

The Blackguard Imperium's primary capital world is Mustafar, as it was the headquarters of the original Blackguard and is strong within the dark side of the Force.

Recent Events:
-Claimed Mustafar and created the Dark Obelisk of the Blackguard. Reactivated several droid foundries to bolster ground forces.
-Claimed Pzob and established a small garrison of troops in order to begin breeding genetically augmented Gamorreans as heavy shock troops.
-Claimed Roon and established a large presence to ensure secret projects could take place away from prying eyes.
-Claimed Ziost, cleansing a heretic hold out and established a large ground presence to ensure Lord Znalost's work can continue unhindered.
-Claimed Rodia and established a large presence to utilize the industrial sectors of the planet and begin recruiting Rodian soldiers.
-Raided Felucia and destroyed the Jedi Base to cover their retreat.
-Began a 'new modernization' of the Blackguard Navy over Sullust with the prototypes of three specialty Harrower designs, known as the Spirian Reform.
-Invaded Anzat and established a new sect of assassins within the Blackguard
-Signed the Treaty of Anobis, giving the Blackguard a major producer world
-Ensured Clak'dor VII was in compliance with the rest of the Blackguard
-Invaded and bombarded a portion of Tipoca City on Kamino, claiming its cloning facilities for the Blackguard
-Invaded Falleen, with the intent of adding their resources to the Blackguard, though the invasion was repelled by the Falleen and their allies.
-Sponsored several participants in The Great Hunt on Nal Hutta.
-Amassed the largest Sith armada to date and launched the Sith Worlds Campaign.
-Routed the Sith Heretics from the Sith Worlds and claimed Dromund Kaas for the Blackguard.
-Invaded Vandelhelm to give the Blackguard a major shipyard.
-Infiltrated the Gran government on Kinyen in hopes of persuading them to join the Blackguard.
-Shrank its borders and surrendered the Sith Worlds to the Resurgent Sith Conclave
-@supremeleader was appointed the new Jen'ari of the Blackguard Imperium, a position vacated by the previous occupant.
-Iridonia and Anobis were consumed by civil war and conquered by Darth Craxious
-Initiated Operation: FRACTURE and issued Order 212, effectively reshaping the Imperium's borders and abandoning several worlds.

Structure of the Blackguard Reborn
Headquarters: Dark Obelisk of the Blackguard
Location: Mustafar

After a arduous relic hunt on Mustafar's surface, within Darth Vader's Castle, Viox and Malvus chose Mustafar to be the primary capital of the Blackguard due to the radiant dark side power on the planet itself. Built over top of a dark side Nexus, the Dark Obelisk was erected to pay tribute to the original Blackguard as well as instill fear into its enemies. Along with his Queen, Larissa Novax, the Obelisk became the heart of the Blackguard. Reactivation and reconstruction of several former Confederacy droid foundries began, allowing the Blackguard to grow its ground forces in short time. Bolstering Mustafar's economy with trade and commerce, the natives began to appreciate the Blackguard's presence and supported the growing economy with their own local trade. The economy is further bolstered by two orbital stations that act as the primary shipyards for the Blackguard, as well as a secondary manufacturer of SoroSuub ships.

Within the Obelisk itself, there are personal chambers to several notable members of the Blackguard, including: Darth Malvus, Luxeria, Cirdan Spiros and the Sith'ari himself. Also located within the Obelisk is a secondary corporate office belonging to Czerka Arms, a major partner of the Blackguard, the Sith Knights Tower, where the Sith Knights reside and train when not on assignment, Blackguard Naval and Army headquarters is also located within the Obelisk. Located away from the Obelisk, is the ruins of the original Blackguard, a place preserved as a relic for those brave enough to visit them.

Since the kidnapping of Geralt, Elizabeth and Arielle Klassen, Viox Savage put into motion a plan to create a devout and skilled group of warriors loyal to the Blackguard and its Sith'ari, with Geralt Klassen handpicked to be its eventual leader. Ultimately trained to be loyal to the Sith'ari, should the Blackguard collapse, the Sith Knights are warriors to the Blackguard, executing the Sith'ari's will and selflessly willing to defend the lives of those within Clan Savage.

Taking the initiative, after his gruesome defeat on Falleen, Valafar Starkiller began recruiting vicious and blood-thristy acolytes and students from the Iridonian Sith Academy. Subjecting them to a torturous and brutal training regime, the Knights of the Blood Oath were born. Barely able to contain their rage and blood-lust, they are loyal to Valafar. Though they are a destructive force to be reckoned with, they can either be a great asset or a horrendous liability.


Clan Starkiller

Originally a rival, warring Clan, the members of Clan Starkiller were all but wiped out by a young Xander Savage. With two surviving members, the Clan all but disappeared for nearly three decades before both Venom and Valafar were reunited. Upon reuniting, the Starkillers cut a swath through pirate territory for a time, until the call of the Sith'ari could be heard. Arriving at Iridonia and learning that Clan Savage was the source of the call, both Starkillers pledged their allegiance to the Dark King. Putting past rivalries aside, Viox Savage granted the Clan asylum and allowed them to conduct their business as they so pleased, so long as it didn't interfere with the Blackguard's goals.

Anzati Assassin's Guild

After the Blackguard conquest of Anzat, the leader of the Anzati people was spared. Due to the predatory nature of the Anzat people, a special assassin's guild was formed to utilize their nature to the fullest extent. Silent, careful and ultimately gruesome, the AAG is incredibly effective despite its elusive nature. Anzati agents have been dispatched across the galaxy, pursuing targets of interest, eliminating dangerous adversaries or even collecting intel for future plans.
