It felt as if a million years had last but it had not been so long at all since the three had visited. But it wasn't all that long ago at all. They landed with ease. The hatch hit the soil and, after throwing a pitcher of cold water on Alem, all three were quite awake -Alem- "Bitches." In harmony -Gid and Shakk- "Suck it up sleepy head." Finding it almost always to be her against her two sisters Shakk enjoyed these moments. And so, our marvelous Twi'leck Three landed safely on the Planet O' Ye Islands. And historically easily one of the most significant. And easily among the most overlooked Shakk- "This is where the Jedi kicked everything off - isn't it?" Gid nodded but Alem spoke - Alem- "Tis dear. But they got in a fight with a fella a few islands down - you see?" Her sister cut in -Gid- " Yes, yes they did. T'was some petty disagreement about shades of grey. " Turning Shakk around by the arm Alem continued -Alem- "Suddenly it became a war... And what a war." And Gid added -Gid- "Don't forget, the de-beaking of birds." Then Alem threw in -Alem- "Pretty hard to forget. Especially if you're one of these birds. " Shakk felt like she was drunk. And.... -Shakk- "that's a lie! You two are making all of that up!" Shakk stormed ahead of them -Gid- "We prefer it be called embellishing the truth."

Laying head to head on their sides in front of the ancient stone edifice, Gid on left side head held up by right hand, Alem lie opposite, her own head but inches from that of her sister. Both quietly looked at the neolithic site. Gid lay wondering. Wondering about what insanely intricate detail went into building that which once must have towered high. Yes. Yes.... What detail indeed. So Gid thought. And thought. And thought. Looking at the ruins of The Temple Gid envisioning things as they once were. In her mind she painting an exquisite portrait of what once was. The stairways still embedded in the soil led to hollowed out remains of what we're once immense edifices. Buildings intended for study and reflection, ones for dwelling, others still for healing. Alem conversely saw thing in a different way than her sister. Or perhaps better put she saw things very much the same but from a different point of focus. She too was absorbed by a vision that we created but with Alem the center was of the intend gallant knight, fair haired broad across the shoulder and tall, sword crossing blades with a foe in a noble fight. standing tall in defense of what was right, a paladin, protector of the Light Across the ruins in quiet nooks and crannies sat beakless Porgs. they sat watching. Watching as the two girls as theyThe two joined hands together, stronger they were as two. And the essential other, Shakk, from seemingly out of nowhere, stood between the two -Shakk- "Nice looking buildings I bet...." Shrugging - Shakk- "Shame they fell apart." The girl was right. And what's more she drew the visions of her sisters two who lay before her together melded these diverging perspectives and forming a whiter share of pale. Grey

Having dropped down between her sisters, Shakk now sat with legs crossed. It was peaceful here in this place once vibrant with human activity. Alem asked the wind -Alem- "What now?" And in a quiet voice filled with emotion one of the sisters three answered -Gid- "What indeed.... What indeed." Then Shakk said resolutely -Shakk- "We wander that's what." And the red Twi'leck inquired -Gid- "But where?" To that the Shakk stated -Shakk- "Between here and there." Sitting up Alem inquired enthusiastically - Alem- "Don't you see?" It had been sitting before them so transparently that in their search they missed the meaning of the signs; like the phoenix from the ruins they would create life

The Twi'leck Three now sat around a small hearth formed of rubble scattered around and filled with brush-wood. As the fire burned down to not coals they fed it with a collection of cedar wood, sage, sweetgrass and lastly tobacco. The mixture burned bellowing smoke and from the ashes they gained life anew. And Gid spoke solemnly -Gid- "So, now we ,The Twi'leck Three, have set a path true to wander betwixt here, Ahch-To and Dagobah, and from these we will wander to the places that are free." Looking to Alem then Shakk then back to the sacred ruins - Gid- "Aye?" And two voices responded in unison -Alem & Shak- "Aye!" Gid smiling bright declared -Gid- "It is done!!!" The Jubba bird, Oscar, had soared high exploring the island planet. When hungry th Jubba bird had eaten carrion he found. But now he had returned. Settled on the shoulder of Shakk Oscar observed the three as they talked. A new adventure awaited, this the bird could feel....

Set perched still on the sinister shoulder of Shakk, Oscar became antsy in his waiting. Doing was what he desired so. And that was the moment Shakk looking down commented -Shakk- "The fire burns low...." Gaze rising up to meet those of her sisters, resting on those of Gid she asked in a pleading tone- Shakk- "Shall we go?" At that Alem fast tossed the remaining fragments of of the smudging mixture on the coals below and they were burned up upon contact. Following behind her Gid three the contents of her glass of wine on the smoldering ashes, then Alem did the same followed by Shakk. The three three sand on the now all but extinguished pit The Twi'leck Three the walked to their ship. The hatch dropped and they entered. Taking the pilot's seat Gid tired up the ship, as her sisters made themselves comfortable, with Oscar cosy as a pig in shit sitting on the shoulder of the blue Twi'leck. as the engine turned over, looking up to the mirror on the windshield Gid warned -Gid- "Hold onto your.... Scratch that; here goes." The ship lifted off -Alem- "We've mapped a lot out between word of mouth and our own travels...." And the ship rose up over the ruins eventually disappearing into the clouds

Sitting at the helm Gid brought the ship across the water before coming to a stop on Temple Island. The hatch had scarcely dropped and Shakk, with Oscar sitting on her shoulder, tore away from the ship on her 614614-AvA speeder bike. After lowering down Gid walked from the ship to be met by Alem. The immediately head butting her sister on the nose then threw a right knee into Gid's left ribcage. Alem then hurled Gid against the Hand Maid Tail. First mistake. Final mistake. As she slid down the wall of The Hand Maid Tail God pulled both pistols from under her arms -Alem- "aGo ahead. Shoot." And She did Hearing the gun recoil and the scream that followed, Shakk stopped her speeder. Even Oscar had turned towards the noise momentarily but seeing thatw he was not in immediate danger the Jubba bird looked down at the blue girl that feeds him. But she too was not being attacked. The eyes of the two met and there they stayed for a long moment. Snapping from the trance, Shakk flipped a switch . Then hitting the accelerator Shakk turning The speeder heading towards where The three Twi'leck sisters had landed The closer Shakk drew near the harder her heart pounded. Coming to an abrupt stop she looked down on the two. Legs crossed they sat side by each happily chatting away. Two smiling faces spun towards her -Gid & Alem- "Shakk!" Eyes thinning Shakk winced ingesting what see saw. Gid..... Gid thad taken a bit of a beating. Alem seems ok. The blue girl's eyes widening she noticed the towel around Alem's left hand. It was soaked. Blood red

And the wretched night dragged on. And Alem had continued to bleed. Tying the wound had proven only marginally successful. Crumbling in the face of a severed pinky finger was not an option in Gid'. With Shakk tearing her first aid kit apart searching M-3PO spoke to Gid. The droid and Gid went to the ship. Retiring in minutes the pair approached Alem -Gid- "Take this." Handing her sister two pills, which the woman immediately ate, she tossed a small bottle on Alem's lap with three more capsules inside continued talking -Gid- "Epsilon aminocaporic acid. Promotes coagulation." Now all they could do was wait and see what happened Shakk wondered if she was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Starting the 614 614-AvA speeder bike, Oscar clinging to her left shoulder, the girl raced away, leaving the situation behind her for a while

But a few meters from he water now, Shakk brought the bike to a halt. And She took to reassembling her first aid kit. She was slow and exacting as she reorganized. After more than twenty minutes of work everything was set up to her liking. Packing the kit away she she restarted her 613614-AvA speeder bike and bombed towards the water

Small inconveniences can develop into massive problems if left untreated. But if treated early the very rarely amount to anything. Such was the case with Alem. If the her difficulty clotting had been approached haphazardly or worse ignored their is a strong possibility Twi'leck may well have bled out. However, on account of taking swift action Gid potentially saved her life Nodding upward Alem spoke to her sister -Alem- "Next time could you avoid shooting me?" Eyebrows rising - Gid- "Sure. As long as you don't head butt me, break a few ribs the gods me into a wall." Laughing Alem responded -Alem- "Next time I'll be sure to knock you out." Unflinching Gid countered - Gid- "And I'll be sure to blow your head off." With a smile Alem offered her right hand to the red Twi'leck. Taking the hand Gid shook hard and the pair simultaneously said with enthusiasm -Gid & Alem- "Deal."

The massive uneti trees served as living libraries to the Jedi. And to Alem the sturdy branches provided a perfect place to hang an eighty pound punching bag. A multifunctional use that further proved the uniquely heightened Force sensitivity of this Species of tree. The girl in tight knee high shorts and a tank top began early. Bouncing on her toes she worked inwardly focusing her mind. Only when was centered mentally would she moved on to her body Suddenly dropping face-forward the woman fell like a tree to the ground. Hands shooting out and meeting the hard soil stopped her fall. With her head down, back straight and legs raised on toes, she began moving, arms bending her body lowered to but three inches from the ground. The sinewy muscles on her arms and back tightened as she moved. Just when it seemed that her chest would would touch the ground beneath she pushed up, only to start all over again. Repeating this movement ten times, Alem then stood to her feet for 45 seconds only to drop and start the again After three sets of pushups Alem paused the routine for three minutes. Standing she she drank water from a bottle. Clapping hands abruptly she moved into situps, following the same regiment. Slow and disciplined she waded into that exercise. Wiping sweat from brow with a towel she then tossed the cloth to her side. Then snatching a rope hanging from a branch, she began skipping. For fifteen long minutes she danced the rope. Even and discipline she moved, slowly counting with each passing turn of the rope Slipping on a pair of white bag gloves, then hitting the set timer sitting to her left. Alem Looked at the bag for a long moment. Mouth open slight and head tilting to the right wondering. Speculating. Reflecting deep inside she tried to envision just where was the nose on that bag, so that she might break it. Turning she spoke -Alem- "Now!" The bell rang. In a flash she thanked the state of modern technology that allowed her to set a simple timer to ring in three rounds with 30 second breaks between. But that quickly became lost somewhere in the back of her mind, as she took to battering the bag Right fist held high back by her ear and left hanging in front of her chin, the girl pounded the bag SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! her left hand flew, then POP! crossing over came a heavy right. And on she went, moving with the swinging bag and timing her punches. By the middle of found one she'd found that invisible nose on the bag and set her sights destroying it Whilst her sister physically conditioned her body and tried to murder an inanimate object, Gid walked among the uneti trees exercising her mind. And her mind at the moment was centered on literature. With the greatness of literary works of art not lost to her in the least, Gid took to writing herself. She jogged a few notes down on a data pad. That done she put this information to paper. All things finished to her satisfaction, the woman shut the data pad, stuffing the paper into right hip pocket, got to her feet and continued casually strolling through the forest. A vision of a particular little chart that she had drawn popped up in her head Dagobah >>>>Ahch-To>>Bespin>>Rishi>Coruscant |

Just As Shakk and Oscar were coming up on the island, Gid herself was merging from the forrest deep. The three met at the Firespray-31-class interceptor. Before the two could even pass a word Alem appeared from within the ship. Quietly the blue Twi'leck parked her speeder. The finely muscled green woman, already having stepped up to Gid, asked -Alem- "What next?" The answer was quick and brief -Gid- "Coruscant." Boarding The ship Gid laser Shakk with w nod walking straight to the pilot's seat she fired the beast. Alem made it aboard just in time for the hatch to closed with a bang -Gid- "Now I shoot both of you at the first complaint I hear. Got it?" Both of her sisters had never been pleased to hear Gid berate them before. The ship lifted up and shot away from the island planet

And.... Seeing the majestic temple, well the remains of the majestic temple and hear the ship audio announce -Hand Maid Tail Audio- ::Now arriving at Temple Island:: Mouth opening to respond the stopping herself Gid landed. Powering down then Leamington her seat -Gid- "C'mon M-3PO! And think firepit." And with that the protocol droid followed, regurgitating the entire history of firepits, from the hypothetical First Fire to present. About say 5 minutes into this most engaging lecture the woman -Gid- "Please stop, I can take no more." To which the 3PO unit quit talking. The droid singled out pieces of stone by size with the girl agreeing or declining based on the basis of whether or not the choice was aesthetically pleasing. With the pair making fast work of their selection then loading the stones onto the ship, they boarded. Starting the vessel and lifting off they flew almost in a straight route, avoiding the longer more scenic journey across the ocean. And the pair quickly disappeared into the clouds above

A Sentinel class transport came sipping along off the open seas and set down directly in front of the ruins of the Temple. Two men came stumbling out with lawn chairs and a 24 of beer. Opening the long seats the two sat, the now open box of beer between them. As they lay leisurely observing the big cheese suddenly stood saying -Pilot-"Fire?" Not awaiting an answer he began collecting stones and making a ring in front of him. As he went about constructing a lot his crewman went about collecting small tinder and then larger pieces of wood. Burping then tossing a book to the ground Co-pilot said -Co-pilot- "That fell outta a tree." Immediately tossing the book into the pit then spraying rocket fuel on that then striking a match a flame shot high before settling down fast. The two took their seats and began feeding the fire. Looking out at the ruins and eyes catching a curious sight the one man spoke -Co-pilot- "Does that bird have no beak...." Pilot sat staring at the fowl for some time -Pilot- "Poluttion and evolution do not get along well." Nodding in agreement his mate answered -Co-pilot- "We really should start being environmentally friendly....." The laughter did not stop for several minutes

Wet spray misted behind the lone yorik-et scout as it zoomed over the ocean, leaving a small wake in the dark blue surface as it headed towards the island. Kar Yin, the intendant piloting the small organic fighter craft, manipulated the controls to slow the ships approach. He took a wide turn, circling the island at its lowest level before lifting the nose and circling again at its highest point. Visual sensors captured imagery of the island, while bio-sensors lit the blaze bug readout with interesting data, picking up on a number of lifeforms. The island was clearly inhabited, though by what it was difficult to determine. The approach was made all the more difficult by the number of flying porgs that inhabited the island, every now and then bouncing off the yorik coral hull of the small organic ship. When Kar had gathered enough preliminary data, he brought his small ship in to land.
There was a small grassy outcropping near the bottom of the island that looked about the right size to set the ship down on. He maneuvered the nimble craft closer, eventually lowering the bottom of the yorik-et until the bottom of the hull settled down on the lush green surface. Steam hissed as the cockpit seal unlatched and the inner atmosphere mixed with Ahch-To's salty sea air. Bone hooks retracted from Kar's grey flesh and retreated up into the cognition hood as he removed it from his head. A moment later and the intendant climbed over the side and dropped to the ground, landing in a partial crouch. He peered around the area with eyes that seemed to glow a mysterious green.
As with most members of Domain Yin, the ocular organs he was born with had been removed and replaced with mqaaq'it, allowing for enhanced vision as well as changing colour based on the Yuuzhan Vong's current mood.
Kar was garbed in typical intendant attire. From his toes to his neck he was encased in a skin tight glossy black cloaker bodysuit, over which he wore a long coat of rokeskin that descended to mid shin, swishing behind him in the breeze. He looked around the island, noting a number of avian looking aliens in infidel clothing, obviously sentient from that alone. They watched him with with a mixture of curiosity and fear, but when none made the effort to approach and confront him, it became clear they were no threat to him.

A thud-bug whipped through the air, knocking another porg to the ground where its poor little neck snapped upon contact, splitting the thin layer of skin beneath its thick feathery plumage as it struck a rock. Kar let loose a raspy chuckle, walking casually over to the dead beakless bird and plucking it from the ground before tossing it in the small pile of porg corpses he was accumulating. He looked down at the pile and licked his thin lips, salivating at the thought of tonight's feast. He raised an empty hand only to have the nang-hul slap into his palm a moment later.
At least there was food, if not much else. He had an opportunity to look around the island and so far there wasn't much to see. The sentient race of avians that called the island home didn't speak galactic basic and the tizowyrm in his ear hadn't yet been able to translate their dialect. Given time he would crack the code to their language. In the interim they mostly left him alone.
He looked up from the spoils of his exertions and saw a few of the caretakers eyeing him from a distance. Kar offered them a feral grin, displaying yellow pointed teeth sprouting from black gums. Reaching to the sheath on his hip, he drew his coufee blade and waved the bone knife in the air, saying hello in his own despicable way. It was enough to turn the heads of his onlookers, they fled back to their previous occupied activities and pretended like he wasn't even there. Terror was quite the bilious broth. He then took a knee and began to skin some of the porg carcases, discarding feathers and guts into the sea.
"Enjoy your scraps, fish." He rattled off in Yuuzhan Vong. "Because the meats all mine."
Night was swiftly descending over the island, and seeing as none of the locals had been so nice as to invite him inside, he was making due by putting together a small camp next to his ship. He had brought a portable fire-spitter with him so starting a blaze was easy enough. Fortunately there was no end of dry drift wood to use as kindling. Eventually he had erected a spit for the dead birds and started roasting them over the fire, savoring the smell of cooking meat and the sizzle of dripping grease. Kar took a seat next to the fire, sitting cross-legged, staring deeply into the flames.
Despite all the bird shit that covered this rock, it was rather peaceful, in a craggy windswept way.

After spending a few days investigating the island, Kar Yin was ready to make his report. He still hadn't been able to ingratiate himself with the locals, but he also had determined that they were a non-factor in any agenda the Praetorite might pursue in regards to the planet. They were non-hostile, non-threatening, weak meat. With their weak bodies they weren't even fit for implantation of surge coral to serve as menials or slaves. He doubted even that the shaper caste could make use of their unique genetics, though that really wasn't his area of expertise. He climbed back aboard his yorik-et, which by this point was covered in a layer of salt from the sea's continuous spray, as well as a thick layer of bird shit from the damnable but delicious porgs. Kar slipped into the cognition throne and activated the internal villip system. Within moments he had connected with Kronn Yin aboard the ro'ik chuun m'arh 'Dark Corsair'.With the scout craft's tall-yor pulled over his head, Kar was able to see the representation of his fellow Domain mate, Kronn, in his minds eye. The other intendant was wearing a suit of crimson vonduun skerr-kyrric, unusual for one of their domain but likely a necessity given the rank he held. The warrior caste tended to look down on those that didn't wear the traditional crab-plate. In order to maintain their compliance, he no doubted had to compromise on a few of their own domain's traditions.Report, Consul. Commanded Kronn, straight to the point as always. He had always been such a dullard."Commander, this planet has little of interest to offer. The population is too small to be of relative use, as are the sentient species that live here. They are a weak bodied avian race, mostly fishermen and traders. However, there is a plethora of aquatic species that might prove useful as a supplemental food source."Continue to monitor the populace. We will be sending a damutek with a team of shapers to assess the planet's organisms in short order."That seems like a waste of..."That will be all, Consul. Before Kar could say another world the connection went silent and he once more alone on an alien world. "Harla's tits!" He cursed savagely.

Kar was standing on the lower portion of island as the damutek seedling descended through the atmosphere, zooming in on it with his mqaaq'it ocular implants. It looked like a comet as it streaked down towards the ocean, the yorik coral exterior wreathed in flame, striking the dark blue surface of the sea and kicking up a massive plume of water in its wake. In fact, the sudden strike appeared to have formed a wave, heading towards...
"Yammka's bloody cock!" He cursed violently. "Those idiots dropped it too close."
Further out from the island, water was cresting and beginning to form a massive tidal surge heading directly towards Temple Island. The intendant looked to his yorik-et and realized there wasn't even enough time to prepare the scout craft for take-off. He needed to get to high ground immediately. He began to sprint up the hill, breathing heavily as he put everything he had into reaching the highest point on the island. He could hear the tidal surge getting closer, upsetting the balance of nature as it barrelled down on the island. His leg muscles burned as lactic acid built in his lower half, while his hands clutched at rocks and dirt as he scrambled higher and higher. The porgs that called the island home sounded like a terrible symphony, shrieking as they took to the air and flew out of the path of danger.
What he would give for a pair of wings himself. Hmmm, something to talk to the shapers about, if he survived.
Higher and higher he went, never stopping for a second. The locals that inhabited the island all seemed to be heading into caves, stopping whatever it was they were doing as they fled in panic. It was possible they knew something he didn't, but he wasn't about to place his trust in them. Those caves seemed like a worse place to drown than outside. He could hear the tidal surge strike the bottom of the island, though he never stopped to look back over his shoulder, knowing even a moments pause could spell his doom. Water was hot on his heels as he inevitably reached the end of a trail near the top of the island, throwing his arms around a tree and praying its roots were thick. The next thing he knew he was buffeted by water, his arms strained to hold on while a tidal wave rushed over him and attempted to drag him into a watery abyss. As fast as it came, it likewise ended, the wave having broken on the island and the waters receding back into the sea.
As the water drained past his feet, Kar dropped to the ground and coughed up a briny mix, attempting to draw air into his lungs. When he was done coughing, he forced himself back to his feet on wobbly legs, using the tree he had been holding on to for support. He blinked the salt water from his mqaaq'it and stared back down at island. Surprisingly there wasn't that much damage. A few old stone huts had collapsed and been washed away, but most of the structures seemed to be intact. The locals must have been used to the hostility of the sea and fortified their homes accordingly. Down below he could spot his yorik-et, still latched to the ground with its arrest tentacles, but now on its side. He'd have to descend and check on its status as soon as he could. For now, he lowered himself to the ground and rested his back against the tree. He could do with a nap.

Kar Yin was seated on a rock perched next to the surf near the bottom of the island, not far from where his scout ship was parked. Sunning itself next to him was a thala-sren, enjoying the calm weather after the seemingly inexplicable typhon that had hit the island. The intendant drank from a bladder flask in his hand, dripping green milk from the container as he sucked back the warm liquid he had recently harvested from the creature beside him. He took a smoke from his pipe, glowing green mqaaq'it peering at the waters edge.
He had thought about swimming down to the damutek the Praetorite had dropped into the ocean, but a run in with a pallaskean sea serpent quickly dissuaded him from trying that again. The creature had nearly made a meal of the Executor. Well, before he had jammed him coufee blade in its eye. He let out a chuckle at that thought, cleaning the bits of fish flesh from his knife along the shore.
When he was done cleansing the bone blade he returned it to the sheath on his hip and walked over to his modified yorik-et. Climbing into the cockpit, he lowered himself into his cognition throne and pulled the tall-yor over his head, piercing the skin around his neck with hooks of bone. A symbiotic connection formed between his mind and the scout ship. He activated the craft's dovin basals and raised the ship off the ground, retracting arrest tentacles into the yorik coral hull. Kar maneuvered the ship forwards and angled towards the water. Within seconds the craft plunged into the waves and began to descend towards the submerged facility.
A villip-tracking signal made the damutek easy enough to find. Well, that and Kar had seen where it landed in the ocean with his own ocular implants. He already had a good idea where to find it. As the craft neared the underwater structure, an opening could be seen splitting in one large bulb like dome, creating an opening for the ship to pass through. The intendant piloted the ship inside and set down on the coral floor, engaging arrest tentacles to hold the craft in place. The opening at the entrance to the makeshift-hangar began to close behind the ship until it had formed an air-tight seal. Gills grown into the walls began to pump water out of the bay and replace it with breathable oxygen. In a minutes time the bay had been emptied and the intendant was able to unseal the cockpit. He dropped over the side and turned just as the hatch sphincter at one end of the bay opened and a Shaper adept in a long blue oozith and headdress approached. As she drew near, Kar held up a hand in greeting.
"Executor Kar of Domain Yin, at your service."
In turn the female Yuuzhan Vong bowed towards the intendant.
"Shaper Adept Lyn Kwaad." She said, before rising from her bow. "We've been expecting you."

Kar offered the shaper adept a shrug of his shoulders.
"Well, I could have gotten here sooner if you had sent a vangaak. I tried initially to swim my way over when one of those water serpents attempted to make a meal of me. Speaking of going for a swim, I'm going to need a few of your worker caste to scrape the barnacles off the hull of my yorik-et."
He looked around the empty bay, then back at Lyn Kwaad.
"I'm surprised the Praetorite bothered to send a damutek. I tried telling Kronn there wasn't much on this world other than fish. Seems like a waste of resources."

Lyn's light blue eye sacs pulsed beneath the lambent lighting of the bay. She offered the intendant the Yuuzhan Vong equivalent of a rueful grin.
"Yes well, that is not exactly the purpose of our mission here, though some effort will be taken to utilize the ocean life as food. The Executor's interest in this planet has more to do with the sentient avian population."
