Getting back into character

Hey everyone. It's been a while. Just over 5 years a while actually, but this site has never left the back of my mind.
A little backstory on me. I started back on the original Facebook Boards when they first opened day one. I saw this community grow and expand its needs and its original home, and it seems things have been improving ever since.
I started out with a fallen Jedi character named Ne'aol, which led to the creation of a couple of 4th wall breaking ravens named Hugin and Munin before I added Dees and AVI to my list of PC's.
Life took over, and I had to set this place aside. My creativity was put on the back burner as I focused on other things in my life. Now, I have a creative bug once again, and I figured some old habits aren't necessarily bad ones.
So here I am, trying to get back into the creative writing spirit. My writing style may be a little academic for a while, spending over 2 years in a Master's program will do that, but I think I can get back to a more relaxed style.
I have already made a few entry posts to get back into the flow and rhythm. I am mimicking my initial entry into the JvS universe with my original PC, Ne'aol. I think it should be fun. I am going back with Dees because she is still a part of me in a way, but I wanted to reboot her story. AVI is an AI character I found/created back in the day that has become a part of her as well, so expect to see him around in each post. I hope to incorporate my other old PC's into the story-line as well as I get reacquainted with this new universe. I may be a little stuck in my old ways, so bear with me.
