Answering the bow Kortos offers by way of greeting, Faina inclines her head in lieu of a bow, never having been one to stand on formalities save when warranted by a given situation. Shaking her head with a faint, hardly discernible note of impatience for having to dwell longer than, in her opinion, necessary on a decidedly trivial matter like Kortos having arrived later than Brock and she had, Faina moves on by gesturing towards Seth and introducing him to Kortos, "This is Lieutenant Gentry. He and his troopers handled the recon and intel gathering for this operation, and has also agreed to lead us in with as much stealth as possible to where we will be breaching our target."
Turning her attention to Seth once more, Faina says, "I would prefer a small team, Lieutenant, explaining briefly, I do not want to impair your operational effectiveness more than necessary, as she is not sure that her request interferes with any additional orders Seth may have been given by his commanding officers. Making it clear that she trusts Seth's judgement in the matter and welcomes his insights, Faina adds, I will, however, defer the ultimate decision to you. If you, or whatever team you select, can lead us to the breach point you discovered, and provide us with the explosives needed to crack the wall once we are there, we will be in your debt."

Seth thought for a while, looking at the map. His orders from Drax where secondary, in his opinion, to ensuring a First Order victory here. And these Knights where the best way of doing just that.
I'll lead you in with 1st Squad. I'll leave my other squads back to secure our escape routes and the LZs. My squad and I can also help provide a distraction if you need it. Hit them a little on one of the other flanks.
He returned to looking at the map and the best approaches. He'd also have 2nd Squad hold nearby to assist if needed.

Faina nods once Seth has lain out his plans, finding no flaws in them that require any modifications and admiring the ingenuity he has shown in adding to her proposed strategy. "Excellent thinking, Lieutenant. A distraction would be useful, but I do not want you to put yourself or your men in any more danger than necessary, so once we have successfully made our way inside, disengage from any conflict and join with the squads securing the escape routes, if and when you can do so without leading the enemy to them of course."
Turning her attention to Brock and Kortos, Faina checks to ensure they are ready to move out and, seeing that they are, tells Seth, "We are ready to move out when you are Lieutenant."

Over his helmet's commlink, Lt. Gentry began giving orders to his squads of scouts. He moved over to where the armory had been deployed, arming himself with his E-11 carbine and and E-11 Sniper rifle. Seth also loaded up two bags with thermal detonators. One of these bags he passed to his squads demolitions expert and the other he held out to the Knights.
That should be enough to get you through. I'd suggest waiting till we begin our distraction, give you the best chance of getting close as possible.
Once the Imperial Knights were ready he and his squad would lead them silently through the forests towards the Fortress of the Witches.

Nodding as she accepts the bag of detonators and passes it to Kortos, whose experience suggests he will know more about using the devices than she or Brock, Faina says, "Agreed," to confirm that she agrees with Seth's plan to wait for him and his men to provide the distraction before using the detonators. Motioning for Brock and Kortos to follow when Seth and his squad begin to lead the way through the forest, Faina taps her left temple to suggest that they both use their Force granted ability to sense danger, focusing on expanding her own awareness as well so that the odds of one or more of them being forewarned of any impending threats will be increased three-fold or, given the Biker Scouts' skills at moving stealthily and utilizing their own abilities or equipment to be on alert for any danger, even greater.
Her past missions having included several operations requiring that she move both quickly and stealthily through a variety of environments and terrains, Faina is able to keep pace with the Scout troopers without making any more sound than they do as they continue on towards their objective, vigilant all the while for any threats that might be lurking ahead or around them as they move ever closer towards the fortress.

Brock is proficient in silent movement, despite his tendency for loud and obvious actions, however his skills pale in comparison to Faina and the Scout troopers. As such he takes up rearguard duties, focusing his senses behind them as the group moves through the terrain, making sure no one flanks around to surprise them from behind. He trusted Faina to keep them same from the front so he kept his human and force senses focused behind, even walking backwards more often than not, relying on the force and his connection through it to Faina to guide his steps, on a subtle level using her knowledge of the terrain to his advantage. Eventually the group makes it to the area surrounding the Fortress. Moving forward he makes it to where Faina and the Scout commander have stopped, overlooking their objective. How's it looking? He says quietly, sure to keep his voice down even though they are still most likely a good distance away from any of the fortresses defenders.

Lowering her electrobinoculars, the lenses shades to prevent any flare or reflected light from betraying their position from any observant eyes, Faina hands them over to Brock as she says, "It looks like they are starting to pull their forces inside. That large blast door hasn't been lowered, yet, so we may have a bit of time before they are fully prepared for the assault." The activity overall suggests to Faina that, while the fleet activity in orbit has alerted the Nightsisters and their allies to the impending attack, they are still in the process of completing their preparations.
Turning to Seth, Faina asks, "How soon can you have that distraction ready, Lieutenant?"

Checking the charges on his blasters, and the explosives he still had, Seth responded.Depends, how high you want the collateral damage to be. My troopers and I can start picking off these forces pulling back. Or we can hit a section of wall with explosives. What are your orders? As his men kept creeping into position, nearing the fortress and being very careful not to be spotted by any of the retreating nightsisters or shapers. The stood ready at the Nightsister Fortress

Weighing both both options Seth proposes, Faina ultimately elects to choose the one she feels not only poses the least amount of danger to Seth and his troopers, but which is also more likely to create a diversion that will appear significantly threatening enough that the attention of the Nightsisters will be drawn to it and away from where she and her fellow Imperial Knights will be infiltrating the fortress. "Don't engage the enemy unless it cannot be avoided, I see no reason to risk your troops. Instead, covertly place charges on a section of the wall away from where you suggested we make our breach, and then withdraw and wait for our signal to detonate. That should afford us the distraction we need, and give you and your troops ample time to make it to the escape routes."
Looking over at Brock and Kortos, Faina says, "Let's get moving," and then offers Seth a bow of farewell before, taking point so that she will be the first to encounter any danger they might meet enroute to the fortress, she resumes their trek towards their objective.

Kortos had accepted the bag of thermal detonators as Faina handed them to him. Taking a moment to note their weight and inventory just how many were within the bag. A number which then displayed on his helmets heads up display with a little detonator icon next to it. He slung the bag over his shoulder then and followed quietly behind his fellow Inperial Knights. His main role in all this to observe them in operation.
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t have a little fun blowing things up. Especially when the Grand Master of the Imperial Knights handed you a bag full of explosives. That said, it was equally possible they would serve better for breaching operations. Especially given that the Fortress was starting to go into a lockdown mode. Meaning they needed to get inside ASAP, lest they get trapped outside.
The real question would then become, would they be trapped inside with the Witches. Or would the Witches be trapped inside with them. In either case, he followed close behind as Faina lead the way closer to the Fortress

Following the path of the remaining Nightsister, the ships made their way across the open terrain of Dathomir for a short distance before approaching a camp. Bringing the transports down just outside the encampment, she gave orders for the Sith to carry all the Nightsisters they could, using the Force as their stretcher. It would also serve as a quick point of intimidation should there be any resistance. With the injured sisters in their clutches, it would be nothing to extinguish their lives in an instant.
With everyone gathered, she had the sole standing Nightsister head into the camp just ahead of them. She led them to the middle of the area, a place for gathering and where spells were typically cast. The sister motioned for the Sith to wait as she went to retrieve the Clan Mother. Those that still resided within the camp watched on curiously and cautiously as the new arrivals waited for their audience.
It wasn't long before the sister returned with the Clan Mother in tow. She didn't seem too thrilled about them arriving in the camp, her eyes and face holding great distaste for the situation
"I am Clan Mother Zazdi. What is it you want? Speak quickly."
Luxeria smirked. "We seek an alliance. Your Nightsisters and this world to become aligned with the Sith. We can greatly benefit from each other's skills and resources. And before there is any talk of us coming in and killing your warriors, only to ask for an alliance, let us make few things clear out of the gate. Your people attacked us first. This may be your world, but we didn't come to fight, only defend if need be. And as such, we ensured that none of your daughters were seriously hurt. I certainly don't want to lose lives in a pointless skirmish just to finally gain an audience. A pathetic waste of life, such a thing is. So my question to you is will you join us? I'm certain there are things we can aid you with, such as the elimination of your light-side counterparts? "
Zazdi listened as Luxeria spoke, the fire never leaving. For as pretty, and even logical, as the words spoken were, it would take more than that to simply convince her.
"Pretty words from a pretty face. However, why should we believe anything said by a Sith? How many times have my people been betrayed and suffered at their hands? You offer us aid, but would it ever come?"
Luxeria let her head drop with the sound of a little giggle. "I've been ordered to gain an alliance with you by any means necessary. So if your terms are to destroy the Witches of Dathomir that reside here, that that is the price. But please do remember my orders exist by any means necessary. I really would hate to have to turn it into a bloodbath of your people to achieve it, but if that is the game we must play, then I will. Each of the sisters we fought is still held within the confine of the Force controlled by my warriors. And it would take nothing to order an orbital bombardment of this place. But we are much more civilized than that, are we not? There is no point for meaningless bloodshed. You agree, you state your terms, we aid you in what you wish, and we allow you to live your lives as you wish until we need your aid. A fairly good deal if you ask me. Do we have an accord?"
Luxeria watched as the Clan Mother debated the reality in her mind. Truthfully, there were no options for remaining free from an alliance. But she could control the terms of it. And she was already threatened with the lives of her people if she refused, something neither wanted. If she accepted, whenever they requested aid, the Sith would hopefully come. If not, the alliance would be off and she'd send assassins their way.
After a few moments, she nodded.
"Very well. We accept these terms. When we have a need for the Sith's assistance, we will call. But let it be known, betray us, and the Nightsisters will reach out from the shadows to end your lives."
Luxeria gave a nod. "Wonderful. Glad we could come to this agreement. I will inform my master of the situation. When you call, we will come. Just so long as you are ready to do the same when we call. Otherwise, we will ensure there is no more legacy for the Nightsisters." With business concluded, Luxeria turned and departed the camp with her warriors, the ships heading back into orbit.

*The Star Runner, guided by the skilled hands of Adonias, finally made planet-fall. Setting the ship down in a clearing on Dathomir's surface, the young Mando set his ship's scanners to alert him to any hostile predators in the near vicinity. When he deemed it was safe enough to exit, he did so with practiced caution. Once his booted feet hit the ground, he reached a hand up to offer assistance to his rather determined passenger.*
"Want to tell me why you feel the need to avoid civilization?"

Crystal accpted Adonias' hand down from the ship, partly as a show of good faith and partly because her body still wasn't healed fully. She stretched her bare toes in the grass of the feild they touched down in and inhaled deeply. She didn't mourn the loss of her shoes though this was the first time she had noticed. It let her fully enjoy one of the few things she did like about this planet.
Turning to Adonias, she looked seriously at him with a hint of censure. "someone dumped me on that planet where I met you. I don't know who but I did spend a majority of my years growing up here on Dathomir. If anyone knows what happened it would be someone on this planet, perhaps even my master. I'd rather not draw his attention." Crystal paused, choosing her words carefully. "He can be a bit eccentric." That was an understatement but she didn't want to share how cruel and capricious her master could be. "Though I'd much rather talk about why you are so desperate for control you follow someone like me across the galaxies." Crystal gestured at herself in her rumpled state.

*Adonias watched her carefully as she explained herself and the reason why they were here. He bristled instinctively when she talked about her so-called master. He listened to the young woman as he began to attach various armaments to his beskar'gam. He slung his modified DC-15 blaster rifle and hooked on his grenade attachment to his belt. Arming himself with an assortment of grenades both lethal and non-lethal, the young Mandalorian was packing enough heat to take on a small army. He couldn't put his finger on what exactly it was that was making him feel uneasy... perhaps it was the feeling that they were being watched. He wouldn't doubt it if Crystal's 'master' already knew they were here.As he both protracted and retracted his arm blades from his gauntlets and simultaneously ran a diagnostic on his armor and HUD, he answered her question.*
"Oh, I wouldn't call it desperate. If anything, I'd imagine I'm here for the sole purpose of making sure you make it home safely."
*His diagnostic scans finished and alerted him that his gear was operating at full efficiency. Good. He liked to be prepared for anything. Especially since this was his first official visit to Dathomir. He partially turned his T-slit visor in her direction and spoke almost as in afterthought.*
"Have you considered the possibility that it was your master that dumped you and left you for dead on Agamar?"

Crystal watched the mandolorian arm himself. With her hands on her hips, she tilted her head at him thoughtfully. So many weapons, didn't he know the force would allow a well trained individual to best them all? She had more to do than she first thought, she didn't consider herself a teacher but that was what this man needed. His words forced her attention on her past, a subject she intensely disliked to dwell upon.
"I have no home. But I do have a purpose. Once that purpose is complete and I regain my memory, then I can decide where to live. It may be my master who left me stranded but I won't know for sure until my memory comes back or I look him in the eye. I'd prefer to focus on my memory."
Crystal turned her back on the man as she started doing basic shoulder and arm stretches. A sliver of memory popped into her mind. She was young, maybe five, and her brother took her fishing. He had taught her how to thread the wild berris on the hook and how to find the best spots where the fish liked to hide. Crystal let a smile drift across her face along with the memory. A brother. She must have had one at some point. She couldn't remember anything else about him though she tried.
"What's your sister like?" Crystal tried a different question, hoping he would open up to her.

*Adonias shrugged at her question as he finished strapping on his scabbard, the strap crossing his well-defined armored chest. The cortosis-weave vibrosword was now properly sheathed on his back. He made sure the small wrist-mounted rockets were secure within his forearm gauntlets and then shut the canopy of The Star Runner via remote control. Pocketing the small device, he stretched stiff muscles himself before joining her side.*
"If you want to know about Telarial, go ask her," *He snapped bitterly before softening his tone.* "I'm sorry... I just, wish--the past can't be undone as you hinted at before. In some rare ways, you remind me of her. Now...shall we press on to more important matters?"

Crystal knew she had hit a sore spot. She did as Adonias requested and moved on, there would be time to discuss his sister later. "Let's get moving. The sun will be going down soon and I'd like to cover some distance before night." Crystal started off across the clearing in the direction of the tall northern mountain ahead. She had been trained in a facility, a compound on the lower reaches of that mountain and she hoped to find her master there. Or someone she had trained with. "Keep up, Or you'll find yourself fending off rancors alone."
*Hours later*
They reached the edge of the mountain and the ground gradually began to slope. Skirting a stand of trees, she came around a bend and saw a huge silver dome ahead sunken into the mountain. There it was, the place she'd lived in for the last decade or so of her life. Suddenly, she stiffened. A warning came through the force. Something ominous felt like it was close but she must be imagining it since the area was quiet.

*Adonias smirked beneath his helmet. Oh, he had no trouble keeping up as he was very fit. Keeping in tandem with Crystal as they traveled across Dathomir's surface, that feeling of being watched began to increase tenfold. Hours later, when they reached the edge of a large mountain, the young man could see a large silver dome ahead. His HUD pinged, alerting him that they weren't alone. Jumping into a fighting stance, the bristling armored man snarled as he pointed a gauntlet at the nearby foliage, prepared to send a wrist-rocket flying if need be.*
"Crystal. We are being watched. There is something out here... we're not alone."
*The area was far too quiet for his liking. He issued a challenge, despite the fact that his bravado was already beginning to falter as fear began to set in.*
"COME OUT AND SHOW YOURSELF!"

Darth Strife:
A shadowed being stepped from the trees, a dark haze seemingly clinging to his robes. The figure was tall, at least six feet though it was difficult to ascertain whether it was male or female. The figure cackled before throwing back their hood to reveal an older man, perhaps in his late fourties. His face was smooth, suggesting an easy life but his eyes revealed a cruel and hard quality. His dark hair was long, growing nearly to his shoulders and he was dressed in dark robes. The force clung to him in a smothering fog, ready to choke the life from whomever he turnd it against.
"Little one. You came back. And you brought a friend!" The man laughed again. "When you disappeared, I thought you had finally become one with the force, but you seem to fail at even that. Have you come for more instruction?" Sparks started to gather on the figure's fingers as he awaited the reply.

*Adonias was stunned when he saw the dark figure emerge from the nearby foliage. He aimed his wrist rocket at the man in warning.*
“Ah—friend of yours Crystal?”
*When the man—Sith Master—began to accumulate electricity on his fingertips, Adonias growled, thankful his helmet’s voice filtration made him sound twice as threatening.
“Hmm...I’ll take that as a NO then.”
*He had heard stories. Horror stories about how Sith lightning could literally cook a man from the inside out. He covered his fear with a hostile threat.*
“Don’t even THINK about it, old man!!”
