As the Conquered Star drew closer to the space station hanging in Felucia's orbit, the A.I, Rampant Savage, appeared next to Petrovsky's command chair.
"Sir. Incoming volleys of turbolaser fire and X-Wing Fighters."
With a grin, Petrovsky barked out orders.
"Angle forward deflectors and prepare to return fire. Ready all forward turbolaser and ion batteries and launch our fighters."
As his orders were carried out, the first incoming wave of turbolaser fire impacted against the Resurgent's shields. The ship shuddered under the impact, but stayed its course. Aside from a decrease in shield strength, the hull and sub systems therein, remained unscathed for the time being. Being a superior vessel to the Bavos Space Station, the Star was more than equipped to stand toe to toe with it, especially with Petrovsky standing at the helm.

A lonely A-Wing enters orbit from within hyperspace: It felt like an age since Jair had been back to Felucia, but how long had he been gone? He wasn't completely sure. Where had he been? Strangely, he cannot currently recall. But he puts his wandering thoughts on such puzzles aside as he notices that something was not quite right after entering orbit.
"What in the blazes is going on here?"
Jair chuckled to himself as he realized he sounded a lot like his old master Gene Kenobi when he said that, but the mirth turned to concern as he discovered what exactly the 'blazes' was going on. A battle over ones current home planet is never a good thing. Jair decided against radioing comms for clearance and evaded the battle zone with relative ease, as both parties seemed rather preoccupied. He began to prep himself for entering the atmosphere but as soon as he did, all communications and navigations systems stuttered and went blank .
"What?! Oh you have got to be kidding me right now!"
He continued his descent into Felucia without navigation systems.

Exiting hyperspace, a lone light freighter lingered within Felucia’s orbit. At first, all it did is was hover, without movement towards the surface. Within the craft, the unlikely pair of darksider and Jedi sat within the pilot and copilot chairs.
Mariah flicked a few switches and released the comlink from its holster. She tossed it to Jair while crimson eyes flickered over him, bottom to top. She didn’t hide at all that she was studying him. In fact, she made it conspicuously clear, but for what purpose was left unsaid. If he wanted to ask, she didn’t give him a chance. Turning her head, Mariah readied the transmission.
“Your turn, Jedi."
Many others believed this planet -- the Jedi Base -- was Aria’s home. With how much bouncing around back and forth Mariah had done over Aria's last few years of life, she was sure they had tagged her mother’s now-junked A-Wing and any of the oddest of clearance credentials she had managed to intercept and use to make it to planet surface. The least she wanted was to be found, brought in, to be questioned more about their dearest Aria's whereabouts. Her usual overflowing patience was now dry. Jair was enough. Any else, and she would simply ignite her saber and fight. That intensity radiated off of the woman within her Force Signature while she waited for Jair to do his part.
Just one more time, one last time she would need to come to this damned place.

*This post and the one above by Mariah Shadows are a continuation from here: boards.jedivsith.com/thread/609/new-vertica?page=18Some years before the raid on the Jedi BaseJair took the comlink gently. He could sense the woman’s tension. The more time passed, the more he was able to understand that she was grieving for her sister. He felt for her for that, as much as he could, naturally. Everything still felt so surreal to him. There was so much to process in such little time. Jair spoke into the comlink, however, as if everything was normal. He did not want to give away any suspicion at all. He did not know that the woman was thinking similarly, but nobody needed to know she was here.“This is JC2K8 requesting landing clearance.” It was no time at all before a reply crackled back over the comlink.Alright! You’re all clear to land, Master Jedi.“I’ve told you many times, I’m not a Master yet.” As usual I’m well aware, Master Jedi. Doesnt mean I’m not gonna keep calling you that though! Bahahahaha! Hey is that a new ship? You finally got yourself a proper transport?“Erm yes, I suppose I have!” There was no point in letting anyone know he was on someone else’s ship. He gave the woman a knowing nod as he made the last comment.Alright well, happy landings!“Copy. Do tell Culex and Carnell I said ‘Hello.’” Jair nodded to the woman, indicating that she was clear to proceed. He put down the comlink and turned to her, addressing her directly, but gently.“I’m... Jair, by the way. Jair Crawford.” It felt weird to not tell her his name. Especially considering what they were going to be attempting soon. Although what exactly that was, Jair did not really have a clue. All he knew was she said she had a way. Regardless, it only made sense to him that there should be some form of familiarity between them, and, dare he think it, trust.*This post and the post below by Mariah Shadows are continued here: boards.jedivsith.com/thread/374/niango?page=4

As Jair continued with his part, Mariah sat back in her chair and waited. Crossing her arms over her chest, she quite simply stared out and watched the planet. The swirling clouds, gray-blue oceans, green and purple landscapes. Where night had fallen, the glowing flora radiated their soft light to be seen even here. While Mariah showed no interest in the view that unfolded before her, her gaze remained locked upon this planet. With the way her eyes narrowed, her jaw locking, when she heard that boisterous voice over the comlink, perhaps her interest was solely to tune out the exchange and to plan out her next moves. A difficult thing to do when that loud personality echoed throughout the cockpit, even finding its way, bouncing around the voided space of the ship behind them.
When the comlink was finally hung back into place, Mariah positioned herself to take back control of the ship and readied for their descent. Her destination was Niango, although she didn’t tell the Jedi this. As she guided the ship towards the planet surface, though, he would recognize the coordinates -- that is, if he knew more about this planet than simply the location of the Jedi Base.
With Jair’s official, formal introduction, Mariah murmured, “Your name is unimportant, Jedi.” He might have tried to establish some sense of familiarity between the two -- trust, even -- but, to her, this mission did not require establishing any of it. The less she knew about this Jedi, the better, and she was not the type to accommodate such formalities for the sake of pleasantries. “You are one who seeks someone who now dwells in Chaos. I am but a guide to your journey’s final destination. That, Jedi, is all that needs to be shared.”
She deemed her explanation as elaborate as was necessary and left it at that. Either way, if Valance was the one who sent this Jedi after her, she had an inkling that he would have already done her introduction for her. Mariah Shadows, the elder of the Shadows Sisters, the Shadows' Blade, whatever else her father revealed to that self-proclaimed ally of the Family. No matter what was shared, she pushed that information to the back of her mind. If this Jedi knew anything, he would soon take that information to Chaos with him.
She broke through the atmosphere of the planet, the city of Niango growing closer with every second of their descent.

Riddick drops from hyperspace in the LeGrange point between the planet and it's closest moon, and made his way closer to Felucia at full thrust without resorting to afterburners. Control, Kirruk-Actual. Requesting vector for approach. Riddick also sends his diplomatic credentials immediately following his call out, and waits for the response.

Control, Kirruk actual, how copy? Riddick orbited the world until he would either get a response or determine that no one was left on the world with ears. He was moderately irked by his last two attempts, elsewhere, to establish a diplomatic dialogue, and didn't want this to be a third.

That is one warped sense of time, Control. I read 52 minutes and 11 seconds between transmissions. Solid copy on Temple Hangar, though. Riddick burns hard the rest of the orbit before making his entry into the atmosphere, and flies directly to the temple.

*As the ship followed approach vectors, Culex cross-referenced the arrival of the ship with all chronos in the station, and even from the groundside observatories. Nope, the entire exchange, from initial contact to final response, took no longer than one minute, seventeen seconds, with a three-second margin of error. The AI's holographic form shrugged and let it go; the stranger in orbit didn't keep the logs, after all.*

As the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer and the Imperious-class Star Destroyer reappeared in orbit of Felucia, Commander Gannon had the shields raised on The Gannon Cannon. Ready to absorb any volleys that either ship might fire upon it. Meanwhile, the turbolasers swung around into their positions, targeting both ships. No sooner did they get sights on the two ships, that the guns started firing off rounds. The targeting crews meanwhile were inputting data in preparation of firing the Concussion Missiles stored aboard the Space Station. The Sith would not go unchallenged in their raid upon Felucia this day. Gannon would make sure of that, watching as the readouts indicated the first wave of X-wings launched from the hangar bay Captain Antares watched as the Space Station turned its guns upon The Lusinia and fired. Thankfully between the ships size and the inaccurate nature of the wild fire, the Imperious was able to take the incoming fire without too adverse an effect. The shields dropped further down, but were reinforced a few moments later as the crew angled the shields toward the stationLaunch our fighters and blow that scrap heap from orbit...There were several affirmatives from across the bridge as the gun crews fired a barrage of turbolaser fire at the Bavos station. The TIE fighters laucnhed from the hangar bars and started to engage the X-wings, joining forces with the fighters launched by the Resurgent

Some time after the Black Guard raid on the Jedi base.
*A quick flash of white light heralded the arrival of a gunship known as the Gladiator. The old battle scarred vessel slowed its pace and took up high orbit above the planet. After several minutes, a hailing signal was sent to orbital control.*
*Orbital control, this is Ellie Ordo of the Gladiator, hailing from Corellia. I'm requesting an audience with the headmaster.

*The data search took hardly any time. Ellie Ordo, known Jedi personnel, curiously also Clan Leader of Ordo. Far as he could tell, however, Ordo had no dealings with either side of the Civil War and kept to themselves. Either way, Culex was confident enough to open communication and send landing coordinates.*:: Gladiator, permission granted, please proceed to the Jedi Temple's public hangars. They have been notified of your arrival. Thank you, and welcome to Felucia. ::

Two wings, one of TIE/sf and one of TIE/fo fighters, raced towards the station as the Star fired its weapons at it. The massive Resurgent was built in such a way that it could quite effectively divert its focus between several tasks. And with an A.I currently on board assisting in all process that the ship was engaged in, it was able to prioritize even better. As the First Order High Admiral continued to observe the battle taking place with the orbital defense station, a holographic image appeared on the holo-table, replacing the view of the battlefield. It was the Sith'ari and, even though the hologram was only blue, looked to be in rough shape.
"Sir. We are proceeding as planned against the orbital installation. Our foes should be routed shortly."
Despite not being overly fond of the Sith'ari, he was still a Grand Moff within the First Order and technically his superior. So, even though this wasn't an officially sanctioned Imperial mission, it was slated as the Star's shakedown run. So all the angles were covered at least. Though it wasn't impressed by being used. However, Viox had appointed him as the replacement High Admiral. That was probably the only reason as to why he had agreed to this in the first place. Regardless of his personal opinions about the Zabrak, Petrovsky was a professional. And he would act as such.

The Dark illumination emerged from hyperspace a fair distance from Felucia, making its way towards the planet at a slow, casual pace. It had been a little while back when Luxeria was last here, the Great Hunt having them seek out the Rancor that lived here. During her hunt, she had kept her senses open, knowing it to have been the home of the Jedi at one point. Though the Sith of the Blackguard Reborn had brought down their base, she didn't know if any remained on the planet. And if so, she had no desire to draw them to her by her dark presence and hinder her hunt. She had been lucky in that regard as she could easily feel the presence of lightsiders on the planet.
It was because of that that she made a return trip. Otherwise having no care to be anywhere near this forsaken rock, she wanted to see for herself what the Jedi were up to and how they were doing. Though, not a mission given to her by Viox, she had sent him a message of what she planned to do as she made her way here. If he discouraged it, she'd find out afterward. However, she felt it important to keep tabs on the Jedi and the state of things regarding them. If they had survived and now thrived just as much or more than before their attack, it would diminish the work they had set out to achieve, at least, to her it would.
As she made her way towards the planet, She began activating her stealth systems. Having entered the system as far back as she did, she felt confident that her Nightshadow hull coating, baffled exhaust, and Tibanna X fueled engines would be more than enough to keep her hidden from a distance. Getting closer, she activated her thrust trace dampeners and Phantom 4x Short-Range Jamming Suite to lower her signature even more as she got into what she felt was sensor range. Slow and steady was the key here as she didn't wish to catch the attention of anyone. Unfortunately, she couldn't activate her cloaking device until she was just outside visual range since it was Hibridium-powered, which effectively blinded all her sensors, making her fly by sight alone. It wouldn't be a problem when she was closer and could get a better idea where everything was.
Once she felt she could be seen a bit easier, despite her reflective black chromium keeping her hidden in the void of space better than most, she stopped and deactivated her jammers and began directing them into her cloaking device. Already had she diverted power from her weapons and hyperdrive, making the process much quicker than normal. Once she was set, she kicked the cloak on and the ship faded from view. Once again, she pressed on slowly, hoping to remain undetected by the fleet in orbit. Considering that it was a Jedi world, she also used the Force to conceal her own presence.
It was this reason why she came and came alone. Her ship had been modified mostly around stealth and she herself was skilled in the art. In all the Blackguard, she felt none were as fit for a mission such as this besides her.

The slow, casual path seemed to pay off as not once did she catch a reaction from the fleet in orbit. That was good. It further proved her stealth systems were effectively working and that her choice in building her ship around it was a smart choice. At this point, she could go literally anywhere. Letting off a sigh of relief, she pressed on past the ships that carried out there patrols. A few minutes more and she was past them and making her way towards the planet's surface.

Making her way into orbit, she continued the same approach she had before: slow and steady. Having gotten away from the Jedi Temple, she relaxed a bit as she covered her presence once more. She had come and gone almost perfectly had it not been for a small hiccup. It was still a question she was curious, how that boy was able to find her when no other Jedi seemed to be capable of it. Perhaps the person she was going to would be able to get some answers.
A few minutes passed before she was fully clear of the fleet. She began deactivating the cloaking device and began redirecting the power back to the normal systems, such as hyperdrive and weapons. By this point, she didn't need her stealth systems as she picked up her speed. If anyone picked her up now and tried to investigate, she would be long gone by the time they caught her. Once the hyperdrive was active, she began running through the planetary jumps she could make and the coordinates for a specific planet. It took a little bit, but she eventually found it. Ambria in the Inner Rim. It was there the person she sought resided with the Dark Jedi Order that had been going for the better part of a year or so now. With the coordinates loaded into the computer, she hit the hyperdrive and was quickly lost to the realm of hyperspace.

The space just outside of Felucia's orbit became disturbed as a CR90 rushed out of hyperspace at blinding speeds before slowing down to regular sublight speeds, the effect almost making the ship seem to return from a slightly stretched appearance. Alongside it, twelve X-83 Twintails appeared as well, forming a kind of perimeter around the corvette though it was nothing more than a casual formation on their return trip home. Nothing but a small dot within the view of the bridge at first, the exotic jungle world slowly grew as the Vakim stood just behind the pilots, examining his home.
It had been a few weeks since he had been sent out by the council to tend to an issue with pirates raiding a world's attempt to trade and bolster another planet's government during their civil war. Prior to his involvement, two prior shipments had been taken over and their crew lost. Not wanting to repeat just scenarios while still wishing to build relations with the needing world, the government worked with the Jedi to create a plan in order to capture the pirates and take them into custody while ensuring the shipments made it to their destination. In the end, the mission proved successful and all had been handled. Confident they would be free from any future raids, the Chistorian Jedi had returned home.
Growing closer, it wasn't long before the ships and space station that protected the world came into view. Taking a deep breath, the tall reptilian spoke in a deep, somewhat raspy voice that held with it both a kind-hearted tone mixed with the ferocity of a warrior driven by the fight. "Captain, begin transmitting our landing code and have them inform the Jedi of our arrival. Also, inform Phoenix Squadron to head on and get some rest."
The older human that sat in the main pilot's chair turned and looked up to the armored Jedi from his seat, giving him a smiling nod.
"Understood, my lord." Turning back to the console as he spoke to the communication officer. "Open a channel to the platform and begin transmitting our clearance." After a few seconds, he received the ok that the signal was sent and the channel was open. This is the Fireblaze, returning home. Code clearance sent and beginning our approach. With the message sent, the channel was then changed to reach out to those of the fighters flying alongside them. Phoenix Squadron, the his Calan Hital. Your aid in handling the pirates has been greatly appreciated. Master Terrek has granted permission to break formation and head on to get some rest before returning to your patrols.
It was but a moment before the leader of the squadron cut through, a peal of faint laughter following a rather chipper female voice.
Understood, Captain Hital. It was our pleasure to aid Master Vakim in this matter. If he ever needs our services again, he need only ask. Phoenix One out.It was but a moment after the channel was closed that the fighters pushed on ahead of the CR90 and cut left to dock with the orbital platform as the corvette proceeded onward towards the planet below.

It was probably just some sensor ghost or program chain lurking deep in her systems, but she always felt odd in hyperspace. As though people had no right to be intruding there. As if something was watching. But a moment later, Aya felt the usual stutter as the ship returned to the normality of space. As hard to pin point & slow to arrive as they were, the feelings vanished within an instant of the ship exiting hyperspace. With a small shrug, she return her focus to the mission that was at hand. She was not the only one in the ship, though give the nature of what she had decided, she was probably the least unhappy of those involved.
Besides herself, two members of the diplomatic branch, & the crew of the ship itself. There were three Praetorians, the loyal guardians that watched & protected her every moment. Along with half a dozen of the most senior members of the Iron Guard. This number included Duke Pirtei Nithius, the master of their order. In addition were eleven crates with a cargo that the Iron Guard members were upset to be deprived of. The functional contents of what was being returned, mostly in the form of the data stored, had long since been copied by clan scientists. But even with the object having sat untouched in vaults for years, it still felt wrong to many of the Iron Guard.
