The Old Dead man had some connection between the Otherworld and this Our Own mere Mortal existence. Nothing resembling exacting as of yet but his fury rocked the Waters, Earth and Sky above. A fleeting rain of hail pelted down, the Sea too was effected, turning wildly and tossing massive waves at the beach..... Birds took flight and animals scrambled for cover. The humanoid beings on the beach made like a banana and split. Quickly. The Sea settled and hail stopped after some time but rain poured down in buckets

A grey wolf was noticeable at the waters edge. Head down and ears drawn back the majestic beast effortlessly moved along westward as the rain hurled down unforgivingly. Then in the flash of an eye there was no wolf at all; what was in fact walking down the Beach was a woman. Long red hair flew in the wind as she was baptized by the downpour. And before you could snap a finger the woman too was gone. And a raven lifted up into the rainy sky slowly disappearing. Some would swear later on that for but a split second a red eye hung in the sky glaring down upon all below. But such was a fleeting image and was dismissed as a trick of the eye

The ship lifted into the air. This was far from goodbye from Manaan forever but what had transpired there had nothing to do with common sense. The vessel rose and disappeared

And there he stood on the much celebrated Beach of the Skulls. His Angelic Chaperone, whom had commanded the whole of what transpired top to bottom, stood as awestruck as he, The Old Dead man was at the natural phenomenon, which separated Night from Day. And so they watched the sun descend from the Sky and slowly disappear. Small thing that we oft overlook in our hurried Lives. And as fast as they appeared when Light finally surrendered, it but for a short time, to Dark they too were gone

& like that there The Old Dead man was stunned to walk on the beach he build on the planet he loved.... -An Tiarna- 'Some perks to bring Dead I guess....' Looking around he remembered having to build the beach.... I near drove Villa mad making his wild visions a reality. & what now? He wondered. Feeling the Sun's glare on back. Full stop. Feel. Correction. Feeling. How nice. Wait.... Feeling? But..... I'm Dead. Right? Turning he looked around. Then down. That's ground to be sure. Then up. Massive right hand waving & his big mouth saying -An Tiarna- 'Hi Morrigan. Look at Gramps now. Weeeeeee!' Turning he walked on then stopping cold and spinning around again, gaze set high he winked & added, addressing his Otherworldly Friend -An Tiarna- 'Go raibh maith agat Angelica.' Looking down then turning back mouth agape as he looked at the sand. Footprints. Footprints? Leave a mark I guess... & with that he turned into his walking again. A lone man watched the figure walking down the beach growing smaller and smaller.... Dimmer. The watcher watched and wondered then muttered -Dude on the Beach- "An Tiarna?" Smacking himself across the face he looked back. Nothing. Tossing bottle away he inwardly cursed his addiction goes sobriety to himself and put the whole silly business away..... It was while walking along the beach much later that he noticed the footprints in the sand. Bending down he examined the tracks. And he thought to himself that man left an indelible impact on this beach. Planet. Universe. Turning nectar back and searched out his bottle; This would require booze. And what a tale to tell.... He remembered. He remembered well....

A worker toils on at his work. Outdoor maintenance officer. Sounded so poetic. More like pathetic he thought. Looking up he saw a lone figure stocking along the waters edge. Really caught the eye. Dude didn't look to be overly tall and his clothes seemed to be on a hanger. Too big. And there is a eerie grace in his stride. Had this over his left shoulder. Bag? He Just moved down the waterfront. On the water? No. Shaking head the man shrugged and went back to what paid the bills. Work. And the being, now but a fleeting memory in the workers mind that would become lost in the man's conscious mind but haunt him well sleeping for years to come, moved slowly but surely down the waterfront. He thought we he walked. Do I belong here now? Something beckoned him. But where? Where. Anywhere

The worker had been home for much needed R & R. And food. And sleep. But there again back on The celebrated Beach of the Skulls. Human heads, at varying degrees of decomposition riddled the beach. A chilling reminder of An Tiarna Dubh and his gaggle of lunatic freinds. Oglaigh na Irandoideanne.... The names still gave him involuntary shivers. He shrugged off the willies and steeled himself. A vision of those who once stalked this very beachhead flashed before his eyes. Drunk, singing and fighting. The apprehension forming a ball in his tummy threatened to ride up and overtake him once again. As he fought the monster crawling up he fought it back muttering -Beach Maintenance Dude- "They tipped well...." And then it began. A harrowing screech lifted up from far down the beach. Music from one of those insufferable wind instruments they fancied. Signing he put his mind into work. At least I have accompaniment he thought Far down the beach stood Amadan Dubh, Uilleann pipes blowing out the aptly named tune Taimse I'm chodladh - Shut up I'm sleeping. The shadowy being seemed to flicker between earthly and ethereal; solid and gaseous. index at times it was as if you could see right through him. But this visual peculiarity did nothing to alter the power of the sound put out , which was nothing short of thundering

A small vessel dropped down from orbit. Abruptly turning up just before colliding with the surface, the ship, or as she was officially known, The Fart in a Windstorm, then shot along but a few meters above the open water

Boom! And there sat Pilot & Copilot in a fire engine red rowboat, each man wielding trusty fly rods somewhere in the middle of the Mannan Ocean. The humble ship was laden with guns, amo, a variety of explosives, etc and so forth. And massive quantities of beer. Life was good as was the fishing….

Now back on shore, the rowboat docked, Pilot & Co-Pilot sat gutting and scaling fish. They had been quite successful. Not like that was anything to brag about really, being that they were on an ocieanic planet. A small fire was set in a pit. In the foreground lurked five massive heavily armed Togorians. They watched the pair as they laboured. And they watched everywhere, and everyone

Effortlessly Ziwia walked on the water. For as long as the deity strode on the mighty ocean the waters laid pacific. To the casual observer it would appear that sea was indeed dead but nay these waters were filled with life, perhaps as the never again would be. And so Ziwia walked. And walked. And walked…. Then she was gone

*An ominous shadow was cast briefly over the sea bellow. But the cloud was fleeting And the ship disappeared into the clouds above and was gone*

High about the ocean flew a lone Raven. The bird was know to herald death. But death was in many a way part of the cycle of life. It began. It ended. And all and everything betwixt the two. Cycle. Circle. Round and round and round and round and round and round. So this majestic thing flew. The silence was deafening. Something was coming

The craft broke into the sky high above like a vengeful angel. And it began descending towards the surface at an accelerated pace. The colonel spoke -O’Dubhui- “We are not here to kill everything in sight; we are not savages.” A smile cracking hard lips -O’Dubhui- “But we will neatly dispatch anything - or anybody that gets in our way.” Thinking -O’Dubhui- “Two blow torches and plenty of grenades. The weapons were quickly snatched up.

Maureen innocently giggled and played with her beast of a pet, Cu Faoil. The child knew what was happening - before it happened. Grace was throwing her weight around. And evvvvvrybodyyy was yelling in the tongue. Kinhdda impressive. Then the girl abruptly froze. Boland. He was… hers. About him she worried more. Maybe they should go to this place….. The Mortus. And she was walking towards the pub with her loyal beast of burden at her side….

Just as The Raven set foot on the hallowed ground he metamorphosed into a wolf. Grey with sullen yellow eyes, the beast began pacing. Waiting. The Raven was not at all used to such… anticipation? Yes. Anticipation. That was it. He began looking left , then right. Then…..

And there she stood. An ashen pale with haunting red eyes, head held low, carefully assessing the scene, yet confidently moving on the other. Upon him in but a few steps then gracefully taking a seat at The Raven’s side…. Majestic

The massive dog sat watching passively. The little girl was safe. The woman with a missing eye and a big mouth he could hear. Could he ever…. That meant Boland was nearby and that was calming. Then…. Then two birds abruptly metamorphosized into wolves. Cu Faoil shook his head and rose to feet ass the hair on his back stood. He would block the pair from touching the little girl. Better yet he could rip both of them apart. But a little hand set down on his back and a voice softly spoke -Maureen- “No, no, no, no - they are harmless.” The mighty beast began to whimper and his tail wag. Hair standing on back now lie easy. They were a good team; Beauty& the Beast
