*Arela laughed at Morgans response. It was an actual laugh, not one made from hesitation. Her canine teeth flashed for a moment in the process. I was then she began to realize how different she was from the two. Before she could question it, Terra asked if her being naked bothered Arela. She blushed slight and stammered on her words for a moment.*
"Well..no actually. I'm not sure why. Maybe because we're both female?"

Terra giggled along with Arela, and for a moment, Morgan almost sounded like her brother whenever he got embarrassed or tongue tied about something. Well, they were siblings after all, so maybe it wasn't so surprising. Turning back to Arela, she noticed that the white haried woman was blushing a little, but then she said she wasn't bothered by Terra's lack of clothes. Terra also thought that maybe neither of them seemed to mind as much because they were both female, and she supposed that was part of it.
She smiled."Maybe you're right."She was glad that Arela wasn't bothered, as she didn't feel like putting her clothes back on. At least not right now.

*Arela blushed, but then confirmed that Terra's nakedness did not, in fact, bother her, postulating that it was because they were both female. Acceptable. Morgan smiled as Terra seemed to agree, but before she could say anything, the noises of large animals and Felucian calls sounded from the jungle. The brush rustled as the hunters appeared on their mounts and began unloading their catch for the night. Among them... boars. Well, Morgan supposed she wouldn't mind eating some this time, since these weren't ones she was trying to save, but she was still a bit sour about it. She looked back at Arela.* Food will be ready soon, they just gotta prepare and cook it. *The sun was starting to get a little lower in the sky. Morgan idly wondered if Ch'lonna asked her mother about the dress yet, and, if she had, how close it was to completion. Probably not very; Morgan didn't receive hers until she had woken up the next morning. But Morgan was out of things to talk about for the moment, not sure what else to ask Arela in attempts to spur her memory.*

*Food. That thought now crossed Arelas mind. How long had it been since she had eaten anything other then some of her survival rations. She turned in the direction of the hunters and watched them go about their work. Her green eyes then turned back to Morgan and Terra. She decided to ask another question that was on her mind.*
"Alright. Their Felucian, you two are human. So..what does that make me? I mean, I look human but.." *Her ears moved forward making an indication as to what she meant. She also gave a hesitant grin that showed her sharpened canine teeth.* "Maybe if I know what I am. Then I might be able to remember more."

Terra's brow furrowed a bit when Arela asked what she was, and that was a good question. Arela's appearance suggested that she was Near Human at the very least, but as for what race she was, Terra didn't have any answers. She had never seen a race with pointed ears like that, or with the canine teeth. They might have to wait until they reached the base, or maybe there were answers where Arela's ship had crashed.
She shrugged."Maybe...I guess it would help to know."Her stomach growled loudly and she giggled, glad that dinner would be ready soon.

*So now the subject was Arela asking what kind of species she was. Had she really forgotten species names? Wait, she couldn't have, or she wouldn't have known that Morgan and Terra were humans... Morgan frowned. Sure, she knew Felucians because Morgan had named them, but no one mentioned humans. So how did Arela not know her own species? The ears and the hair... Morgan was sure those were traits of some known species, but she couldn't name it. Frowning sadly, she shook her head.* I don't know... I wish I did. Maybe we can find out when we got back to the base. *Her frown then turned curious.* So how do you know we're humans but you don't know your own species?

*Arela thought about it, if the Jedi base did have that kind of information then that was probably her best bet of finding an answer. When Morgan asked how she knew what a human was but wasn't able to tell what her species was, she hesitated. She wasn't entirely sure actually.*
"Maybe I'm just placing a word on something I can subconsciously remember. Like how I knew what my ship was, or how to speak basic. I don't know, maybe I'm just a hybrid, a mix of two species. That could explain why I can't remember what I am, I could be several things."

Terra shrugged, thinking that anything was a possibility at this point in time. In any case, they could probably find some more answers tomorrow, either at the crash site or at the Jedi base. She was about to say something when she smelled the familiar smell of cooked boar meat, and she wondered if it was ready to eat yet.
Her stomach growled."Maybe...I'm sorry I don't have more answers...ooh I'm getting hungry..."

*Morgan followed Arela's words, wondering if hybrid was the answer. That could make sense, she supposed. But would that just make it harder to identify what she was a hybrid of, if anything? Morgan had no idea, and so resolved not to think about it any longer and leave it to those who would actually know the subject well enough.
It seemed the subject was moving on regardless though, as Terra noted her sudden hunger and the smell of the cooking food wafted more strongly through the village. Yeah, Morgan was hungry too, and her stomach was letting it be known. They hadn't eaten a whole lot after all, and the promise of a big feast was very enticing after today's journey.
Fortunately, dinner was quickly prepared and served, Morgan explaining to Arela what the various meats, plants, and roots were. She sat down near the gathering, and, while the children didn't approach them, they stayed close by, watching the visitor with deep interesting, wishing they could decipher what they were saying. Morgan chewed slowly, watching Arela carefully, waiting to see how she stomached the food...*

*Arela sat beside Morgan and listened as she explained what each type of food was, and there was a lot. She tried just about everything. It was then she realized how hungry she really was and just how long she might have gone without food. She then turned to Morgan an gave a hesitant grin.*
"It's really good. Can you thank them for me? I can't speak Felucian like you can."

As we fly over the planet's surface, I decide that the holovids in the archives didn't really do it justice. I traveled throughout the galaxy during my training, and saw many strange and wonderful things, but nothing quite like the unique plant life I see before me now. It seems to glitter in the sunlight.

*Morgan grinned when Arela declared that it was "really good," then asked her to thank the Felucians for her. Morgan giggled and called out in Felucian to the crowd; they seemed to enjoy hearing about outsiders enjoying their hospitality. For Morgan, it was hard to say whether she enjoyed this food or food that was prepared back at the base more, but there was definitely nothing wrong with the Felucian food, though she wondered what it would've been like if prepared with some of the seasonings that most people used...
When they were finished, Morgan set her leaf on the ground and folded her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs and resting her chin on her knees. She glanced around at the village, sometimes up at the clear night sky, then felt a yawn coming on. She tried to restrain it to little avail, and squeaked as she normally did after a yawn, then looked down at her toes then up at Arela.*Are you still tired or do you want to talk some more?

Terra eagerly dug into her food, and it was quite good just like last time she had eaten this. She was glad to see that Arela was enjoying it too, and she hoped that the good meal would help her in some way. Maybe not with her memories but a good meal certainly never hurt anyone. At least that's what she thought.
She finished her meal and set her leaf down, noticing that Mogan appeared to be getting tired. Terra was a little tired herself and she started to think that now would be a good time to find a place to sleep. Unless Arela wanted to talk more.
She awaited the white haired woman's response.

*Once Arela was full, she leaned back and gave a sigh. She turned her attention back to Morgan when she spoke. In fact she was still tired, even more so now that she had eaten.*
"Yeah. I'm kinda tired right now. I've had a pretty busy day."

"Pretty busy day" might be a bit of an understatement given what Arela had probably been through today, though Terra didn't say anything about that. A good rest and hopefully everyone would be recharged for the next day, and to be honest, she was starting to get a little tired herself.
She looked to Morgan."Where are we sleeping at? Do the Felucians have something set up?"

*Sleep, it seemed, was the preferred choice of both Arela and Terra. Well, Morgan was a little tired herself, even though many children, no doubt having finished their own meal, were starting to crowd around her and chatter about playing a game of ball. Unfortunately, Morgan had to turn them down, but when they all looked and sounded so disappointed, she began having second thoughts, though knew what she had to do right now. She stood to her feet and addressed her human companions.* I think I know, but I'll go find out for sure. *It didn't take her long to locate Ch'lonna and soon after her mother, who revealed that she'd already had mats set aside for Morgan and her guests. Morgan thanked her, then returned to where Arela and Terra were, reporting this and the information that Terra's dress would be ready by the morning. She then would show them the hut where they would be able to sleep for the night, on soft, spongy mats.
But Morgan would not yet sleep. She left the hut to surprise the children with the announcement that she would stay up a little longer and play with them, much to their delight. She may have already been a little tired, but she didn't want to let them down, especially when she wouldn't be staying too long; one of these days she'd take a few days trip into the jungle and stay at the village for a couple of days. So she and the children ran, played ball, even played in the river.
Finally, Morgan and Ch'lonna made their way to the hut, Morgan slightly exhausted and knowing she'd sleep very well that night. In the morning, well, there was a new adventure awaiting them...*

The Simic landed without incident. Its dark cargo leaning back in his high-backed command throne, as the droids around him did their post reentery checks. With a thought the figure's Force signature winked out of being, his presence nulled to any prying Force sensitives around, as he started to overlay the images for his trek through the dense fungal jungle's topography towards the Jedi's stronghold. It would be an arduous journey towards his prize, but with a satisfied smile, he knew it would be well worth it..

Sweat trickled off of Hester Calix's brow as she made her way through the forest. Hours had passed by since she had landed in Kway Teow, but she knew that this was not the time to rest. There was something lurking on this planet that had called to her from across the galaxy. It was a feeling so strong that she had left her sanctuary on Kuat to journey to this place.
It was hot. The trees themselves seemed to be sweating, as well. Thick, amber-coloured sap dripped from pores on their trunks that formed a sickeningly sweet-smelling liquid. The carcasses of rodents, insects and spiders were suspended in the hardened sap. Hesper paused for a moment to inspect it. She reached out with her hand, but stopped.
"There's something wrong with these trees." There was something strange about this place. There was a dark aura that lingered in between the trees.
Was she sensing someone approaching or was it the unmistakable feeling of foreboding? Hesper looked behind her towards the trees and narrowed her eyes. This was not the time or place for a fight. She quickly slipped her hood over her head, and moved quickly through the tangled underbrush of wild shrubs and gnarled roots towards what looked like a structure of some sort.
"A ship?" Hesper pulled back into the shadow of the trees. The ship's engines were still pulsating exhaust into the air. Whomever had landed her had come recently. She narrowed her eyes as she studied the vessel, it bore few markings that gave her an identity of the ship's owner, and the design of it was unlike anything she had seen before. Her sapphire eyes flashed a deep shade of emerald as she scanned the surrounding areas for its owner. "Nothing, not a living soul inside of that ship." Was the pilot dead? She thought to herself, but the ship bore no outward signs of recent conflict. It merely looked like the ship had landed there. Even more puzzling, the exit ramp was still extended. It looked like the pilot had stepped off of the ship and disappeared into oblivion.
Hesper looked around cautiously and decided to approach the vessel. She thought of hiding her presence in the Force, but the idea of it quickly faded when she realized that the trees themselves had their own strange energy about them that distorted her own senses.
She paused and looked up.
The clearing where the ship had landed was her first opportunity to examine the upper canopy of the trees. She stood by the ship and stared.
What she had thought to have been trees were not trees at all! Instead, they were giant fungi with heads so large that they could easily dwarf the ship beside her. "That cannot be a good sign."

My lord. One of the droids chirped, swiveling from one consul to another, which started to flicker with stuttering coded readouts.
"Yes?" Answered the cloaked figure, without looking away from his charts.
Humanoid lifeform off starboard side of the Simic. It answered curtly, then lines of code reflecting off of it's blank metallic faceplate faster than any human could compute such data.
"A Lone human?" The figure asked, the slightest hint of intrigue in his voice, as he turned to face the droid's position.
Correct, my lord. A Single human is approaching the Simic. The droid answered, before turning to face it's Master. Your Orders?
The hooded figure was silent for a moment, as he watched a small inferred readout of a separate screen timidly advance towards his shuttle. "Activate starboard guns, and make sure there's nothing left." He replied without so much as a cursory glance back towards the screen before returning to his topographical maps, before a single acknowledgment chime was issued form the droid. Outside the Simic...
With a slight hiss of pressurized gas, The armor plating retracted to produce one of the blaster cannon turrets in the Simic's arsenal. The gun leveled itself, the droid gunner loosing a volley towards the inferred readout of roughly where the figure would be.

=Outside of the Simic=
The air outside of the ship seemed to change as she approached. There was no doubts about it, there was something very strange about this vessel. Hesper continued to walk towards the ship when suddenly, she heard something hiss. Instinctively, her hand dropped down to her lightsaber.
Pew, pew, pew...
Bright, green beams of energy flew towards her.
Her lightsaber came to life with a snap-hiss. The amber-coloured blade quickly rose to attempt to defend her against the oncoming barrage.
Bolts of chaotic, blaster energy flew off in all directions. Some flew back towards the gun, others disappeared into the forest around them. The lightsaber deflected the first few bolts with relative ease. Suddenly, she felt something inside of the hilt shift and move. It was a minute sensation, but one that a trained saber user would be able to sense after years of practicing with training droids. These canons weren't the toy blasters of training droids, these were designed to blast holes into hulls of heavily armoured ships.
After three or four deflected shots, her saber began to grow hot. Very hot!
A final blast flew towards her. Hesper raised her sword to deflect it.
Tiny lights flashed infront of her.
'Was it more fire?' She thought to herself then she looked at her hands.
Sparks began to explode out of her lightsaber. The onslaught of energy from the ship's canons had overloaded the crystal's capacity. Hesper looked down. She had few options left: Stand there and become canon fodder or try to destroy it.
Only one thing to do.
She pulled her arm back, and threw her lightsaber at the canon. It was an insane idea.
She didn't know how successful it would be. She could sense that the blade was about to explode. She didn't know what would happen next. All that she knew was that it was likely that the lightsaber would explode the moment that it hit the canon's exterior casing. She didn't want to stand there waiting to see what would happen next. She turned around, channeled the Force into her and ran away as fast as she could to avoid the canon's arc. The air stung as it whipped by her. Soon, she was at the edge of the clearing that had previously taken her several minutes to reach. She could still hear the canon shooting behind her followed by an explosion. She didn't stop to look back. Looking back would have slowed her down. Hesper found a spot behind one of the trees and dove for cover.
