Terra followed Morgan for a little ways until they stopped at what she could only assume to be these gelagrubs, sluglike animals, and yet the Felucians were mounted upon them. Trusting Morgan's word that they were friendly, she climbed up into the free space and sat down, looking around from her new vantage point. Yet another new experience for her since her arrival on Felucia, and she was very glad that she had met Morgan. If not, she wouldn't be here right now, and she was having fun. Hopefully her decision to put some of her clothes back on wasn't too disappointing for Morgan, but she wasn't sure she wanted to remain naked in front of the Felucians, even if she didn't know for sure if they cared one way or the other.
She turned to Morgan."How far is it to the village?"

*Morgan patiently waited for Terra to climb onto the gelagrub, which she did, seemingly with relative ease and little complaint. Just as Terra asked how far it was to the village, the leader called out for the party to get moving, and the gelagrubs listened to their riders and began to turn and make their way toward the village. Morgan nudged Rush along as well, grinning as she rode alongside Terra.* Not too far! You can walk from there to here pretty easy, but since we're riding, it'll go much faster! *The speed of the gelagrubs came not from their own agility, but from their maneuverability. Jungle obstacles were not a problem for them, and kept the pack moving at a brisk pace, Rush easily keeping up alongside them. When they reached the village, it was nearly sunset, and many of the people were already gathering about to prepare for the evening meal. Morgan smiled; she hadn't been to one of their big meals in a while, and they were quite enjoyable. But she was not eating the boar meat.
Many Felucians were approaching the hunting pack to help unload their catches—which included a few other game and wildlife besides the boars—while Morgan, meanwhile, led Rush a little ahead of the pack so she could get a good look at the village again, at the river running through it, at the little campfires here and there, and the huts spread out across the clearing.
Suddenly, the Force alerted her to an incoming presence to her right. Morgan turned, only to be tackled right off of Rush by a figure. Morgan yelped and tumbled, reaching out for something to grasp onto, managing to grip what she thought were its arms and rolling on top of it, pinning it to the ground. A young Felucian face peered up at her, then giggled.* ~Sister, I see you're wearing the sky again!~ *Morgan's eyes widened and she smiled as she recognized the girl and her voice.* ~Ch'lonna! It's you! And yep, of course!~ *Morgan let the child up as she herself stood, then the two embraced.* ~What brings you back?~ *Morgan grinned.* ~I brought a friend out to the jungle with me, and we met the hunting party and followed them back!~ *Morgan suddenly heard the soft growling behind her and turned to look at Rush, who didn't look too fond of the Felucian child, especially since it had, in his eyes, attacked his owner. The only reason he probably hadn't torn Ch'lonna apart was because Morgan seemed at ease now.* Oh, stop it, Rush, she's a friend! *Rush relaxed a little, but still didn't seem too fond of Felucians in general. Morgan looked around at the hunting party, trying to locate Terra.*

Terra was surprised to see how quickly they were moving through the jungle, much faster than if they had been on foot. She wondered how they were able to move like this without legs, and she made a mental note to either consult one of the books she had checked out from the archives or ask Morgan. Might be better to look it up in her books, but later. Looking around, she noticed it was almost sunset, and she noted with a bit of disappointment that they would probably have to head back to the base after this.
Sighing softly, she dismounted the gelagrub when they reached the village and for a brief moment, she lost track of Morgan as she looked around the village. It was unlike any settlement she had ever seen before, and it was something she hadn't really read about before either. There was no technology or speeders or anything like the other cities she had been to. It was...simple.
After a moment, she realized she had lost track of Morgan and scanned the crowd of Felucians for her, figuring she would stand out just a little bit. It wasn't long before she spotted the girl, apparently playing with another Felucian. They must have known each other, or at least Terra thought they did, as they were speaking the Felucian language. She made her way over, smiling."Is this your friend, Morgan?"

*Terra was approaching them already, asking if Ch'lonna was Morgan's friend. Before Morgan could reply however, the Felucian girl had already walked between the two of them and was looking Terra over curiously.* ~Another skyperson? Is this your friend? Do you understand me?~ *Morgan giggled and stepped forward, gently nudging Ch'lonna aside so that she could speak to both of them, the Felucian first.* ~Yes, this is my friend Terra! But no, she can't understand you.~ *Ch'lonna's posture seemed to shrink a little and she let out a disappointed trill, but then seemed to instantly perk up again. Perhaps she was just used to Morgan being able to speak Felucian and expected other humans to be able to speak it as well. Morgan smiled and looked up to Terra.* This is Ch'lonna. I met her at the lake we were just at. Her mommy made a dress for me! *Morgan looked proud of this, despite the fact that she generally didn't wear clothes and was proud of this as well. But she loved that dress and its design, and often wore it out in the jungle. She should have brought it this time... but oh well, maybe next time.*

Terra smiled at Ch'lonna, but was slightly sad that they couldn't understand each other, but at least Morgan would be there to translate. Apparently Morgan had gotten dress from the Felucian's mother, but she had yet to see it on Morgan. Maybe later tonight when they got back or tomorrow she could ask Morgan to show it to her. She was guessing that they didn't mind the fact that Morgan was naked, but if she had been here before, maybe that was why.
She smiled at Morgan."You'll have to show me that dress sometime."

*Morgan smiled up at Terra when she mentioned that Morgan would have to show Terra the dress sometime. Morgan nodded and began to speak...* Of c— *... but she was interrupted by Ch'lonna.* ~Morgan, what are you saying? What are you two talking about?~ *Morgan giggled, deciding she might as well address this problem first.* ~Nothing, silly! We're just talking about the dress your mommy made for me. Now stop interrupting!~ *Ch'lonna trilled an apology, causing Morgan to giggle again before turning back to Terra.* Of course! When we get back I can show you, or maybe tomorrow if it's too late. It'll probably be too late and Jake will be asleep by then, unless he waits for me again. He doesn't like going to bed before I'm home. *Jake was always nice like that, and he did care a lot about Morgan; in fact, Morgan sometimes wondered if he worried a little too much, but that was okay, he was her brother and she loved him, and he probably just wanted to make sure he didn't lose any of his family ever again.*

Terra smiled, wondering why the Felucian interrupted Morgan, and she wondered if she would be able to learn the Felucian language or if Morgan only knew it because of her connection to the planet. She still had quite a few questions about Morgan's bond with the planet, though those would have to come later. They could probably talk about it back at the lake or on their way back to the base if there wasn't time to revisit the lake.
She hoped Jake wasn't too bored without Morgan around, though she thought it was sweet of him to worry about his sister, though given Morgan's...unique talents, those worries were likely unfounded. Still, in the short time she had seen the two together, she could tell that they were close."Does he worry about you a lot?"

*Morgan smiled sweetly when Terra asked if Jake worried about her a lot.* A little. Not too much, I guess, but it's nice that he cares. *Ch'lonna seemed to be doing her best to stand still, but was starting to get jittery. Finally, it seemed she couldn't take it any longer as she suddenly put her fore, webbed hands on Morgan's shoulder and clicked in her ear.* ~What are you saying what are you saying what are you saying?~ *Morgan recoiled slightly at the sound in her ear, but nonetheless giggled at her excitability and responded.* ~We're just talking about my brother! Well, my skyperson brother. He's really nice and looks after me. I'll bring him here sometime!~ *Ch'lonna seemed intrigued and even excited at the news Morgan had a brother. But before she could rattle on about it, Morgan shushed her with a giggle before looking at Terra.* She didn't know I had a brother. I haven't brought him out here yet, but I need to soon! *Morgan looked around as the gathering grew larger. The meat from the hunt was being cut and cleaned and prepared for cooking over the big fire, while the riders tendered their mounts. Other children that were finally noticing Morgan came to gather around her and Terra, chattering away curiously and excitedly. Morgan conversed with them as well, greeting them, telling them about Terra, and gigglingly explaining why she didn't care she was naked to another. Morgan then looked to Terra with a grin.* They're all excited to see me and a visitor, and one of them asked me why I'm naked. *Morgan brought her hands to her mouth and giggled, then lowered them.* So, is there anything you want to do or see until we're ready to eat?

Terra giggled a little when Ch'lonna started clicking excitedly at Morgan, though she could only guess at what the Felucian was so excited about. Morgan was happy to provide a translation, and it seemed she hadn't yet brought Jake out this way. She wondered how the boy who had been so flustered to meet her would react if he was here, but maybe one day they'd find out. She noticed that as they were talking, more small Felucians had come over to see them, and Morgan spoke eagerly with them while Terra looked on, wondering what they were saying. It felt a little awkward to not understand what they were saying, but again, Morgan provided a translation.
She giggled when it was revealed that they were asking Morgan why she was naked, and her decision to get dressed before coming her was nagging at her. They didn't seem to mind nudity, at least with Morgan, but then again, she wasn't sure she wanted to be naked in front of a whole bunch of people she didn't know, even if they didn't mind. Oh well...maybe next time. Though hopefully she wouldn't be caught fighting boars in the nude next time...
She smiled and shrugged when Morgan asked if there was anything else she wanted to do or see before eating."Not really. I'm kind of hungry though."She looked around at the Felucian children for a moment before turning back to Morgan."They really don't care that you're naked?"

*Some of the children had been gathering around Rush curiously, much to his discontent. Rush, growing increasingly uncomfortable, edged his way through the crowd, sending a mental communication to Morgan that he wanted to be free of this atmosphere. Morgan frowned, but allowed him to head back into the jungle, where he would be more comfortable. If he hadn't been attacked, he probably would have been more at ease, but Morgan wouldn't force him into being comfortable with Felucians.
Some of them asked Morgan just what Rush was, and she explained. They recognized Lokay, though, who remained perched on Morgan's shoulders, peering at the children and periodically sniffing at the cooked foods. He even licked his beak in anticipation. Morgan, when not answering a child's inquiry, focused on Terra's questions, smiling at her as she said she was kind of hungry, then giggled and shook her head when she asked if they didn't mind if Morgan was naked.* They don't! They just think it's funny! I'm sure they'd think the same thing if they saw a grownup naked too. I mean, they all look the same to us— well, to other humans, but we all look the same to them as well. Well, I can kinda tell them apart, but I've been with them longer. *Children started to bug her about what she was saying, asking for a translation. Morgan giggled and offered a translation, then glanced toward the big fire where things were cooking. It smelled really good, and Morgan couldn't wait to join in with them; she hadn't had a good Felucian meal in a long time.*

Terra couldn't help but giggle a little when Morgan revealed that the Felucians thought her nudity was funny, though she still didn't want to take her own clothes off in front of all of them. She wondered how the girl could tell the Felucians apart from each other, though Morgan's answer indicated that they might have the same problem with humans. She watched as the children continued to gather around Morgan, and her stomach growled a little when she looked to where the feast was being cooked. She hoped it was almost time to eat, as the only thing she had eaten had been that big purple fruit during their hike to the lake...

*The children continued to gather around Morgan, asking her various question. One even produced a ball and begged for her to play with them. Morgan grinned, flattered, but replied that they didn't have much time before they had to eat, and that she would love to after they ate, but wouldn't be able to stay long. All of them seemed disappointed by this, and Morgan wished she didn't have to turn them down, but she could always come back another day! And bring Jake too!
Suddenly, a horn blared over the village, signaling that the feast was ready. The children dispersed, though one or two tugged at Morgan, asking her to come with them. She giggled but told them she had to stay with Terra, and they reluctantly left her alone. Morgan grinned and ran up to Terra's side, taking her hand and following the crowd.* C'mon! It's time to eat! *Terra probably would have guessed that but Morgan felt the need to clarify just in case. She led Terra toward the gathering, and many of the Felucians even offered to let Morgan and Terra go ahead of them, though Morgan politely declined and waited her turn. When they finally reached the serving area, she was handed a leaf by one of the women with food already laid out upon it, though Morgan had to stop and study it for a moment before looking up at her.* ~Is there any boar meat on this? I... don't want any, thanks.~ *The Felucian didn't seem to question this and took Morgan's leaf, and, instead of hunting for which meant was which, handed her a new leaf with no boar meat upon it. Morgan smiled and thanked her, then looked up at Terra curiously. Morgan didn't think Terra had the same reservations about the boar meat as she did, but still, she thought it would be nice to ask.* Do you want boar meat, Terra? I can tell them not to put it on your pla— er, leaf if you don't want any! *If Terra didn't mind... well, that was fine. She guessed. Morgan still wished they could have just sent the beasts away, and she was still stubborn enough to refuse the boar meat, but Terra didn't have to, if she really wanted to try it.*

Terra followed Morgan as the dinner horn sounded, and not a moment too soon. She was very hungry now, and quite frankly, didn't care if there was meat or no meat. She usually wasn't picky about what she ate and she had to admit that it smelled good. Morgan wasn't too keen on the boar meat, but then, she had been quite upset when they had been killed despite the fact that they were dangerous.
She shook her head."That's OK. I can eat the meat."She took the leaf with the food on it that was offered to her and smiled at the Felucian who served it, unable to thank her due to the language barrier, but she hoped her smile got the message across.

*Morgan only nodded when Terra said it was fine, then, when the two of them had their food, Morgan led them to an open place by the fire and sat down on the ground. Lokay was lowering his neck and sniffing at the assortment of meats, veggies, and roots hopefully. Morgan giggled, picked a small piece of meat from her leaf and offered it to the tailring. He sniffed at it curiously, then took it from her in his beak before climbing down to the ground to eat it. Morgan giggled, popped a cooked root in her mouth, and looked at Terra.* It's all different, but don't worry, it's really good! Even the rancor meat... *She giggled, but she was completely serious; rancor was an occasional menu item, though it didn't appear that there was any tonight. At least, she hadn't seen any brought in. Probably for the best; Morgan didn't exactly think the idea of eating rancor meat was very appetizing either.*

Terra's eyes widened a little when Morgan mentioned rancor meat. She wasn't picky with her food but rancors were where she might just draw the line when it came to meat. It didn't look like there was any of that on the leaf she had been given, so it was OK then...
She dug into her "plate" eagerly and found it to be actually quite good. The meat tasted great and the rest of the veggies and other assorted roots and such weren't bad either, and she had cleaned her leaf off rather quickly. Normally Terra wouldn't have eaten so quickly, but she was hungry and the food was good, and a former slave was always loathe to leave food on the plate even if it didn't taste that great. Fortunately, that wasn't the case here. She grinned at Morgan."That was really good! I wish they could serve this on Corellia!"

*Morgan diligently worked through her food, here and there feeding a scrap to Lokay. She didn't finish anywhere near as quickly as Terra had, so she was a bit surprised when Terra announced that it was really good and wished Corellia had food like that. Morgan giggled.* Yep! I like it a lot. I mean, I like our home food too, but this is also awesome. *She smiled as she finished up her meal. Other children were finished too, and began to crowd around Morgan, again pestering her to play. She giggled but asked for a few minutes for the food to settle before she ran around with them. They made disappointed noises, but Morgan only giggled again and looked at Terra.* They really want me to play with them, but I wanna let my tummy settle first. You should play with us!

Terra nodded in agreement, both with wanting to take a few minutes to let the food settle and with playing with the Felucian children. She sat back, watching the little Felucians all crowding around Morgan excitedly and she couldn't help but smile at them. Hopefully the food would settle in a few minutes and they could get to playing. She hadn't gotten to play much as a child herself so here was another opportunity to make up for lost time.
After a few minutes, she smiled and stood up, stretching, then looking back at Morgan."So what game do they want to play?"

*Morgan was constantly pestered by the children, asking if she was ready yet when she wasn't. Morgan only giggled and persistently rebuffed them, though after a few minutes she finally announced she was ready, to a chorus of cheers. The children scrambled and one went looking for the ball, just as Terra asked what they wanted to play. Morgan nudged Lokay to get down on the ground, then stood and faced Terra.* Ball! You gotta try to get the ball, and keep it away from everyone else! You can throw it to someone, but there aren't really teams unless you work together with someone. It's really fun! *It was kind of confusing, honestly, but fun in practice. Picking allies in the heat of the moment was always fun, though usually it seemed like when it was more than just Morgan playing, it was generally the humans against the Felucians, though Felucian players were fair game to other Felucians as well. Morgan wished they had more participants, but this would be fun too.*

Terra smiled and nodded, thinking that the "rules" were simple enough to follow, and she waited for them to find the ball. Her stomach had settled enough now so that wouldn't be a problem. She wanted to make a good first impression in her first game of "ball', after all. Hopefully it would go better than her first water fight. Which reminded her, she still wanted a rematch with Morgan sometime soon. If not tonight, then certainly before she left Felucia...
She grinned when the children came back with the ball and turned to Morgan."I'm ready! Are you?"

*When Terra asked if Morgan was ready, she grinned and nodded. Just as the ball rolled by her feet, and a crowd of Felucians came rushing toward her.* Eep! *She scooped it up and, without hesitating, tossed it through the air toward Terra.* Go Terra, run! *The crowd seemed to move in rhythm with the ball, for as soon as it left Morgan's hands, the children veered away from her and toward their new target: Terra. There was still time to grab it and run, but not much. The children were now in relentless pursuit: It was playtime.*
