That sounds nice! Has your mama been with you for all of that too? Or has she been off saving the galexy and stuff? Far off, but close enough to hear a rancor roars, Kent finds hersefl inching closer to the rathtar.

*Morgan barely paid much attention to the very distant echo of a rancor roar, so used to the noises of the jungle was she. She also knew rancor were rare in this part of the jungle, and even if one got close, it would be easy to lose them in the thicker foliage.
What she didn't notice, but Rush had, was Kent's involuntarily inching closer towards Terror. The akk immediately placed himself between the girl and the rathtar, giving Terror a warning look. Terror noticed, but didn't even bother making a defensive sound this time. Some disgruntled rumblings escaped his maw, though.
Shaking her head, Morgan explained,* "No, I only met Mama a few years ago. She... well, she isn't my mother, but I loved her, and she loved me. I learned stuff from her, she taught me things, and... I started calling her Mama." *She paused a second, then clarified,* "I know I just said she 'isn't my mother,' but you know what I mean! Because she is my mother. She just didn't give birth to me." *And there were at least two other beings she could give that description to as well... She'd never stopped to realize before just how complicated her family tree was.*

Well, that must be very nice...Kent smiled. She pictured the image in her head of her own mother. Kent was very young when her mother and her father were killed, but she could still picture them perfectly in her head. Her smile wavered for a second before returning. She had come to grips with being an orphan long ago, but there were still moments that it hit her. She and master Calmcacil? Are they...

*Morgan frowned and tilted her head, wondering what Kent meant and why she had trailed off. Understanding her meaning, she giggled and shook her head.* "No! They're friends, but Daddy's married to someone else. She's 'Mom.' And 'Mommy' is—" *She'd just rambled off that one without thinking, didn't she? Well, she could still salvage it, but it was out there now, and she'd already hinted at it anyway.* "... Felucia."

WOW so you have two! you are a lucky girl! before she finished her statement Morgan said that the planet was her "Mommy." Kent had heard of people calling planets mother, but never a personal Mommy. What do you mean by that?

*Lucky? Truly, Morgan supposed. She went from no mother to three, after all. But now came the difficult part: Explaining Mommy. She took a deep breath and released it.* "Well, you know when I said I was safe out here? That's because... Well, the planet's alive. Not many people can sense her spirit, but I can. The Felucians call her 'Mother,' and they respect and worship her, but I'm... closer, I guess." *She didn't sound boastful, just uncertain of how to properly explain it; but she certainly was incredibly joyful for her connection.* "So I can sense a lot more things out here, like when there's people or animals, and I can even make friends with a lot of the animals! Just... not the really big ones..."

Can you teach people this? She couldn't hide her eagerness, having a planet looking out for her and caring about her... She also thought of the animals Are there and... cute animals here?

*Morgan frowned at the idea of teaching people how to connect with the planet the way she had. Kent wasn't the first to ask, but it felt kind of... direct. And maybe Morgan was a bit selfish about the whole thing as well, but she was being completely honest when she replied,* "I can't teach you. I don't even know how I did it! It's just... well, I stepped off the shuttle, and suddenly I just... linked." *Remembering a certain other detail, responsible for even further boosting her connection and power, she giggled and added,* "And I don't think you wanna basically die for a month or two either."

Oh... She understood, kind of, but she was still a tad disappointed. Having that connection sounded fun. The more she thought of it, she kind of had something with Nar Shaddaa. I guess I do understand, I had something with Nar Shaddaa believe it or not. Not through the Force of course, but from learning. I knew every nook and cranny on that planet. It was like the world was keeping me alive and going. And there were times I was about dead for a month or two. It's totally different, but it helps me understand. She looked back at the faithful animals keeping time, and felt bad. I didn't mean to say that these weren't cute...

*And there was the disappointment; another reason Morgan didn't like being asked about her connection. But then she frowned as Kent went on to try to compare her experience on Nar Shaddaa to Morgan's own connection. That... sounded nothing at all like Morgan's connection, but Morgan didn't have the heart to say it; and at least Kent was trying to understand it.
Kent revisited the "cute animals" comment, causing Morgan to glance over her shoulder at her three beloved pets. Grinning, she answered,* "It's okay. I like Rush is cool and Lokay is cute, and Terror... well, he's cute in his own way. As for cute animals here... well... if you think big slugs are cute." *She giggled, obviously joking. Well, there were big slugs, but there were other animals as well; one's mileage varied as to whether or not they were "cute."
She thought about the topic of her connection again, specifically Kent's seeming misinterpretation of the death metaphor. Well, maybe not so much metaphor...* "But I meant it, Kent. Look." *She quickened her pace to put a small bit of distance between them, then stopped and lifted her shirt up to reveal the claw scars across her chest.* "See these? Monster attack. On Belkadan. I... kind of did die." *Lowering her shirt again, she turned and once more started to walk.* "Except... Felucia came and got my soul first. She kept it until she brought my body back to life, then sent me back." *She stopped again, for a thought had overtaken her. A kind of truth that she'd never considered, an idea that at first shocked her, then made her grin at how absurd it was.*
"Huh," *she said, starting to walk again.* "I'm a zombie."

And here I am worried about Terror and rancors eating me... I guess you are the one I should be worried about... My brain is pretty big... Kent knew the girl was speaking in relative terms, but she thought it would be fun to play dumb, just his once. I didn't realize the Force could do such things. Here I thought it was only for making you center your thoughts and kick butt at fighting.

*For a moment, Morgan looked up at Kent with a finger on her chin, as though sizing her head up.* "Hmm." *She grinned, but didn't have time to complete the joke as Kent switched topics. She seemed to be doing that a lot, actually... Letting her hand fall to her side, Morgan replied,* "It's a lot more than that! Even the Force itself is a living being! ... maybe? We don't really know for sure. It's kinda like a god, kinda. Maybe it's more like a spirit... But we can call on it for aid, or let it guide us, or just, well, lots of things! It's so deep, no one really knows all its secrets."

I have gotten ok at just letting it protect me. If I had known what I know now our first meeting would have been very different I think. She pauses a moment to consider everythingThough sometimes, I am not sure if it is leading me to do the right thing.

*Kent's sense of self-confidence seemed to be rising to the surface again, so sure of herself was she that her and Morgan's first meeting would have gone differently if she knew what she knew now. After only a couple of days? Morgan frowned; she knew Na'an and Iella had looked after her, but a couple days didn't seem like enough time to properly develop a sense of defense through the Force.
Morgan allowed a thought to cycle in her mind for a moment, contemplating it, only briefly giving thought to the idea that Kent felt misguided. Morgan wasn't much of a philosopher, so she couldn't really help with that. However, she was just too curious...
She sped up, almost running several steps ahead of the group before turning and stopping. She planted her feet, left foot forward, and raised her hands in a defensive position, palms slightly opened.* "Fight me," *she invited with a small smirk.* "I wanna know how good you are."

Fight you? Why? I can't fight you.Kent is shocked and taken aback. She was not expecting this train of thought from the girl. There is no way that end up ok for me!

*The shocked declining of her offer simultaneously pleased and disappointed Morgan. Pleased, because it seemed to make that little illusion of Kent's fall, disappointed because, honestly, Morgan felt like she could use a good scrap. Deciding she wasn't taking that for an answer, she looked at Rush and jerked her head to the side, a mental nudge indicating he and Terror should stand clear. The akk accepted, barking at the rathtar and ushering it out of the way of the two would-be combatants.*
"Just a practice fight!" *Morgan prodded, still in a defensive position.* "What, you afraid? I thought the Force was good at protecting you." *She grinned. If that didn't work, she would try another method.*

The last person the Force protected me from was someone I almost killed because I thought she was a threat. If I loose, then I lost to a powerful young Force user with much more experience than me. If I win, or even just lay a hit on you, then I am the one that hit a little girl. If I accidently hurt you then I am sure he She points at the akk Would not be happy, and may be reluctant to stop him points at the rathtar from having a snack. Why would i do this?

*The frantic attempts to call off the challenge were still very amusing, but Morgan wasn't ready to back down just yet. Shaking her head, she retorted,* "I'm not weak! I showed you my scars! I can take a hit! And we aren't supposed to be hitting for real anyway. Besides," *she glanced sideways at her pets briefly,* "they've seen me wrestle my brother before! They know what play is!"

I never called you weak! I just don't know. She was afraid of what she was capable of. The last time she used the Force on a person was in the med center and she almost killed the prisoner. She wasn't trying to, but that's what happened. What if the same thing happened this time with Morgan.

*Morgan sensed fear from Kent, fear of... what she might do to Morgan? Was she still underestimating her that much?* "C'mon! I know what I'm doing!" *Her right hand came forward, palm opened and facing outward, but the motion was so casual anyone could mistake it for a simple offer of a high-five. It was, however, more than that, being little more than a gentle nudge to Kent's right shoulder through the Force; not nearly enough to topple her, at the most make her stumble, but only if she didn't have a good control of her balance.*
