"Tsikala, *" Kaiya replies quietly, the stillness and quiet of the ruin inviting within her the feeling that she must not break either. Following her twin inside, the oppressive heat already causing her to sweat profusely, Kaiya is not surprised to find that the building appears to have all but been gutted in whatever battle it was so thoroughly damaged in; rubble and debris, collapsed walls and the strange, twisted sculptures the fires made of objects no longer able to identified are strewn about everywhere, making it difficult to discern what the original purpose was of any given area of the smashed interior.
Closing her eyes briefly, suspecting what she will find but unable to deny the habits instilled in her by her Master, Kaiya stretches her awareness of the Force outwards to see if any lifeforms are present, muttering as much to her sister as to herself when her suspicion is confirmed and her search reveals nothing save the plant, animal, and insect life the fungal forest teems with even here in the scarred site of a battle, "Naas. **"
Pursing her lips in thought, trying to think of how best to search for any clues that might reveal where their quarry may have gone, Kaiya searches for anything suggesting a way to get to the underground area of the ruin as she asks Ellie, "What do you think? The ground and upper floors look pretty gutted. Maybe the underground areas are more intact though? We might find something there."

*Iella, like Morgan had clearly done, also sensed the anger that fueled Kent's rapid levitation of the stone. She couldn't blame Kent for being angry with all that had happened to her, but she needed to find a way to steer her down a gentler path. With a sigh, she caught the falling rock with the Force and let it fall a few meters away.*"Morgan's right, Kent. Using your anger like that can lead you to the dark side of the Force. I don't blame you for being angry, but you can't feed that emotion or it'll swallow you up."

Kent looks at them both confused. She had heard of the "darkside" but those she associated with it were out hurting people. She didn't do that here. She just used a feeling to accomplish a task. To her logical mind, she didn't do anything wrong. Clearly, she had. Both Morgan and Iella called her out for it. She accepted them on being right but she still couldn't understand. You asked me to move the rock. I remembered that the most powerful I have been was after Na'an left. I am over it now, not angry anymore. I can remember exactly how I felt. I used that feeling to give me power. I didn't hurt anyone, and I accomplished the task, why is that wrong?

*Iella sighed.*"Kent let me tell you something I learned when I was first learning to be a Jedi.*She paused a moment to make sure Kent was listening before continuing.*"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering."*She sighed again, remember the first time she'd heard those words.*"Kent, the central teachings of the Jedi are based on compassion and respect for life. We seek to bring peace to the galaxy. Using anger to fuel your power is...kind of counterproductive to that."

*Morgan nodded profusely at Iella's words, though she herself had been taught a far more nuanced version of those teachings; more important, though, was reinforcing the notion that such raw emotions should be held back.* "If you're not focused and in complete control, it'll make you do something you'll regret! I've seen it happen... I don't want it to happen to you too!" *She hesitated a moment, debating diving into those nuances of fear and anger. On the one hand, she didn't exactly want to overly drive the notion into Kent's skull; on the other, she wasn't entirely sure if Kent was ready to understand such nuances. So Morgan opted to remain silent... at least for now.*

Kent frowns. In her mind, what was most efficient was the way to go. She understood that using emotions to hurt someone was bad. Like shooting someone when angry. But here she just used it to do a task better than she could have otherwise done. I am not sure I understand. I get that letting my anger control my actions is bad. She remembers the Med Center But I am controlling it. I am also not using it to hurt someone. I couldn't lift the rock as well as I did without using my anger. How can it hurt something?

*The building took far more damage then Ellie remembered, then again she had other things to worry about at the time. Her and her twin ventured deeper into the building looking for a way downstairs. Entering a side room Ellie noticed a door that was partially opened. Taking a peek through the crack, she saw a ramp leading downwards. With the help of her twin, they managed to pry it open far enough for them to slide in one at a time.*
*Ellie stood at the top of the ramp for a moment staring into the darkness. When she activated her lightsaber, the red glow from the blade chased the shadows away from her path. Casting a glance at her sister, she gave a nod before descending the ramp. The trip down took longer then expected, till finally the ramp leveled out and entered a large two story room filled with computers and other technology. From the looks of the place it had once been the bases command center. Ellie slowly began to walk the perimeter of the room. There was so much dust down here she wondered if this equipment had been used in years.* "What do you think vod? Does this place hold the secrets we're looking for?"

Igniting her lightsaber so that its blue glow is added to the red of her twin's lightsaber, Kaiya purses her lips as she studies what the combined light from their weapons reveals of the room they have discovered, taking in the dataterminals and other equipment.
"There's only one way to find out, Kaiya answers her sister, crinkling her nose as she adds, and unfortunately that way will mean that we need to see if we can restore power to this level. Walking along the western wall of the room to begin searching for a means of determining whether or not they will be able to restore the power, Kaiya muses aloud, Its a good thing our training included some rudimentary engineering and slicing skills, huh? I doubt they would have left anything on these dataterminals that isn't encrypted or wiped, so even if we do get the power back on, we probably will have to work a bit of magic to find out whether this trip was worth it."
After nearly an hour, the twins locate an emergency generator and successfully restore power to the lower level of the ruined base. Wiping her sweat soaked hair off of her forehead, Kaiya says to Ellie, "Now to see whether there's anything to see now that we can see what was left here to see, if anything was left to see at all that is. Hooking her fingers around the collar of her tunic and waving it to cool herself, Kaiya moans, Too bad we didn't get the air conditioning back on; I feel like I'm in a sauna. Pointing towards a nearby dataterminal, Kaiya sighs and says, I'll start with those there, you try the ones over there.," and then wipes the thick layer of dust off of a chair in front of the dataterminals she will be searching and gets to work determining whether anything on them will help them on their hunt.

How can it hurt something? *Iella found herself at a loss for words for a moment, trying to think of the best way to explain the dangers of relying on one's anger to use the Force. Sure, it was just against an inanimate object, but this just wasn't a good habit to get into. Of course, she understood all too well the temptation of using one's anger to fuel the Force. Especially in light of recent events...
Still, she tried to keep herself calm as she attempted to explain.*"Kent, I know using your anger seems like the quick and easy path, but it's a path of evil. I know it's slower, but you have to try to move the rocks without resorting to anger to do it."

*Morgan was starting to feel frustrated at Kent's stubbornness, which was why she opted to try to settle down and let Iella reply instead. By then, she was able to compose herself and add,* "She's right! Doing things the easy way will corrupt you! You'll get used to using bad emotions, and it'll just grow and... and make you a monster!"

I am still not sure I fully understand, but I will try to not use my anger anymore. She turns to another rock, and tries to move it. it wiggles a little befor finaly moving up a few inches, it hovers there for a moment before falling to the ground.

*Iella was relieved when Kent did not press the issue any farther. still not sure how exactly how to explain why drawing on her darker emotions was bad. She took a deep breath and nodded slowly as Kent gave it another try. Unsurprisingly, Kent didn't have as much success moving the rock the second time around as she had the first, but Iella noticed no flashes of anger or other negative emotions this time around.
Trying to be encouraging, she stepped forwards and smiled.*"Don't get too discouraged if you're not tossing rocks with the Force right away. It's like a muscle you have to exercise for it to get stronger. Right, Morgan?"*It was when Iella turned to Morgan that she realized the girl still wasn't wearing anything. Her eyebrow raised at this, but she said nothing about it as she turned back to Kent.*"So I think we'll focus on using the Force without drawing on your anger for now."

*Morgan's initial relief was stilled as she watched Kent attempt to manipulate the stones once more. It was... a rather pitiful display in comparison, but nevertheless it was progress. It also allowed her to fully feel relieved, with a sigh to match. She gave a small smile when Iella described learning to use the Force the same as training a muscle, and nodded when indicated.* "Right! Practice makes perfect, and all that." *She noticed the look Iella gave her and knew exactly why, but she only smiled and headed back into the water for now, things seeming back under control.*

*With the power up and running, Ellie turned het attention to the terminal closest to her. The search was slow and frustrating, that was until something caught her eye. A shipping manifest that had all the navigation points erased, except for most of the fueling records. Without looking away from the screen, she called to her sister @kaiyaordo.* "Vod, come here. I think I found something."
*She began to skim through the data, taking in each place the ships had fueled. Hopefully she'd be able to find a pattern or direction in which the ships came.*

Kaiya looks up from the dataterminal she had been using to conduct a fruitless campaign to search for any useful records or documents that had not been deleted prior to the ruined base being abandoned, nodding when her twin calls her over to where she has been working.
Reading the data Ellie is looking over, Kaiya bites the corner of her lower lip absently as she strives to see any kind of pattern to the fueling points. Groaning as she recognizes one of the fueling points that appears more than once, Kaiya says aloud, "Ryloth, and then seeing two other locations that are listed more than once, adds, Kessel, and Tatooine are on the list a few times too. All of the universe's shining scum and villainy vacation getaway hotspots, she observes dryly, and then asks, Which one do you think seems most like where he'd fall back to?"

But I was so good at it using past emotions to fuel it. How is it I can be so strong and so weak at the same time? And I am supposed to be ok with it? Frustration fills the girl's voice. She was not used to failing. Most things in life, with her mind, she could pick up rather easy. This was different.

*Iella was starting to wonder if anything she said was reaching Kent at all. She'd tried to explain, but it was seemingly falling on deaf ears. Doubt was beginning to creep into her mind over whether or not she could adequately train this girl. Her eyes wandered around the clearing, thinking for a moment how easy it would be to just give up and try to pawn Kent off on another Master, someone more qualified than her.
No. She couldn't just give up on Kent like that. This line of thinking was foolish. Iella took a deep breath, trying to squash her doubts, then turned to answer Kent.*"I already told you that it'll take time for you to get used to using the Force without using your anger. Besides, there's more to life than being mad all the time. Try to think positive."*She paused a moment, trying to figure out how best to put this, but also to ponder the irony of saying that when her own life was basically in shambles. Not that she felt like sharing that just yet...*

She paused, and thought about it. Using her anger did make her powerful, but it also brought back the pain. She was able to remember all of it and she couldn't separate it from the anger. The pain was what gave her the anger. She couldn't live like that. She looked at the rock. If I work at it, I will be as powerful without the anger as I am with it? Is there another way I can fuel it?

*Ellie shifted uneasily at the thought of going back to Ryloth. To many back memories were forged there, none worth reliving. She folded her arms across her chest and thought for a moment.* "I don't know like the looks if either. Than again, being here isn't exactly fun." *Taking a datapad from her pocket, she copied down the information in front of her. Once done, she replaced the datapad and turned to her twin @kaiyaordo.* "I say we head back and pick through this at the temple. Maybe the Jedi there could find this useful also."
