*Morgan wasn't surprised at the answer, but that was still a bit generous. Morgan smiled and shrugged, shaking her head.* That's okay, but most people think I look younger than that, so that's fine. Maybe I'm getting a little bigger? *Morgan giggled and looked to the bank, where Lokay was crawling toward Rush, laying on the ground beside him as they both watched the two girls in the water, Rush panting. Morgan giggled at them, glad Lokay had forgiven Rush for the water antics earlier, then looked back at Terra, intending to ask her more questions so they could get to know each other more.* How long have you been on Corellia?

Terra smiled, glad that Morgan didn't seem offended, but she could have sworn that she was younger than that. "I've been there almost a year now."
She had learned more on Corellia in just under a year than she had probably learned in nine years on Nar Shaddaa, but she didn't really want to bring up Nar Shaddaa right now. She also didn't mention her master because she was certain that Morgan already knew that she was Serrin Roma's padawan.

*Only a year? So she either hadn't been training as a Jedi long, or was somewhere else before. Morgan hummed thoughtfully to herself, then spoke.* I've been here a year too, but we used to live on Belkadan before. We visited here a while ago and my daddy knew Master Raven well, she was the leader here, but now my daddy helps her. But she's my cousin! We didn't know till like a year ago. We moved here from Belkadan when some Sith attacked and broke part of the Academy, but it's okay, we built them. The Academy was rebuilt too, but we decided to stay here. And that's good, because I love it here, more than anywhere else! *There was an enthusiastic light in her eyes as she spoke, proving her love for the world was true. And Terra didn't even know the half of it. When Morgan finally told her the whole truth, she couldn't wait to see the reactions...*

Terra couldn't help but smile as Morgan told her about her travels and when she said she loved it here, she could see that the little girl meant it. That had been apparent since they had gotten here though, as she had noticed how happy Morgan was when they had gone outside. Terra felt the same way, in a sense, about Corellia, feeling like that was her home and that there was no place she would rather be. She missed being back at the academy there, but she had made a new friend here, so it wasn't all bad.
She smiled widely. "I know how you feel. I feel the same way about Corellia..." She sighed softly and looked up at the sky for a moment, then looked back at Morgan, still smiling. "I'm glad I met you. I think I'd be really homesick otherwise."

*Morgan grinned when Terra said she felt the same about Corellia, though deep down Morgan knew it wasn't quite the same. She suppressed a giggle, but then Terra said she was glad she met Morgan, because she'd feel homesick otherwise. Morgan smiled sweetly, contemplating giving Terra a hug, but didn't want to soak her clothes, so she settled for swimming in place and smiling at Terra.* I'm glad I met you too. You're really nice, and you don't mind if I run around naked. *She giggled, mostly because it was a silly little thing to say even though she meant it. She tread water in place, thinking about what to say next, but right now nothing came to mind; the time didn't seem right to talk about her connection to the planet. Maybe soon, though...*

Terra laughed and shook her head a little at Morgan's silliness, though she was glad that she had made a friend today. Even if that friend was an eight year old girl with a fondness for running around naked, it was certainly much better than having no one to talk to and besides, Morgan was actually kind of fun to be around. "Thanks." Still smiling, she turned and started wading through the lake. "I'm gonna walk around for a bit." Terra took slow steps through the water, not wanting to trip, but also she was mainly looking around and admiring the scenery. This worked against her in the end, as she suddenly stumbled and fell to her knees with a squeal, barely managing to stay upright enough to keep her shirt from getting soaked. She was now soaked from the waist down though, and she got up and looked down at herself. "Ow...oh dear..." She giggled a little. "Well...I guess I was going to get wet sooner or later..."

*When Terra announced that she was going to go walk around for a bit, Morgan started to swim toward shore, then wading once her feet touched the bottom.* I'll go with you! It's probably not a good idea to walk around alone out here anyway... *Never mind the fact that that was what Morgan used to do all the time before she had Rush, and even then she'd only just met him. Suddenly, though, Terra tripped, falling to her knees in the water, soaking herself. Morgan gasped softly and ran as fast as she could through the water to catch up with her. She was about to ask if Terra was alright when she laughed and supposed she was probably going to get wet eventually anyway. Morgan grinned and giggled.* Told you! *Well, since that eliminated the wet problem, Morgan decided that now was the perfect time to wrap her arms around Terra and give her a quick hug, like she'd wanted to earlier. Suddenly realizing that Terra might ask what that was for, she released Terra and looked at her, blushing a little.* Um, that was for, um, because I think you're nice.

Terra was a little surprised when Morgan hugged her, though she didn't really mind that much, and she blushed a little when the girl told Terra that it was because she was nice. She couldn't help but smile brightly at this and she reached over to hug Morgan back. "I think you're nice too, Morgan." She released Morgan and glanced towards the shore for a brief moment before turning back to the girl. "Did you still want to walk around for a bit?"

*Morgan giggled and smiled when Terra told her she was nice. Morgan always thought she was a nice person, not in a boastful way, but it was something she strove to be, so it was good to hear when others thought that as well. When asked if she still wanted to go walk, she laughed again and nodded.* Always! I told you I love it out here! *She giggled again, marching toward the shore and then stopping, looking upon Rush, Lokay, her backpack, and her pile of clothes. She hummed contemplatively, then looked back at Terra.* How much walking did you want to do? *It was merely a curious question so that Morgan knew whether or not she'd need to bring her things or leave them here, along with her pets. Morgan kind of wanted to come back to the lake afterward for more swimming, but she was also fine with just walking through the jungle.*

Terra shrugged as she walked onto the banks and looked around for a moment. She didn't really feel like walking too much, she just wanted to kill a few more minutes. "Just a little walk, I guess. We don't have to go far."
She sighed softly and looked down at herself. Her pants and the lower half of her shirt was soaked from her fall in the lake. At least it wasn't cold outside or she might have been shivering, but instead, she just shrugged, figuring she would dry off a little as they walked. She turned back to Morgan. "We can just walk around the lake or something if you want."

*Just a little walk, not too far. That was fine; it meant Morgan could leave her stuff here. And dry off, if they weren't swimming anymore. Morgan looked at Terra's clothes and smiled, knowing she'd need to dry herself off as well. A walk around the lake? Morgan looked out at the lake's circumference, then grinned up at Terra.* Then it really won't be a long walk! But, okay! *She could already feel the sun's warmth starting to dry her off. It felt good. She ran her hands through her hair, straightening it out and hopefully getting rid of a few tangles. Oh! Right, she had a brush in her backpack. She ran to it, crouching by it, and removed the hairbrush. She ran it through her hair multiple times until she was confident she'd straightened it out and made it tangle-free, then returned it to her bag and returned to Terra's side, beaming.* Okay, I'm ready!

Terra smiled, figuring they could veer away from the lake if they found something interesting, but she would see what happened. She thought about asking if Morgan was going to get dressed, but she probably knew the answer to that, and they weren't going far, so it was OK if she left her stuff here. She smiled. "OK. You can lead the way."

*When Terra declared that Morgan could lead the way, Morgan grinned and started to set off in one direction, before looking down at Rush, who was still laying on the ground along with Lokay. Giggling, she spoke to the akk dog, coupled with hand gestures and mental commands.* You wait here, boy, we'll be right back, but if we're in trouble, come save us, got it? *Rush gave an akk's version of an affirmative "arf," and Morgan grinned before turning to Terra, gesturing for her to follow.* Okay, let's go! *And so she set off leading Terra on a walk around the lake's circumference. It wouldn't be a very long walk, unless they decided to deviate or walk more than one lap. Maybe Morgan could find other ways to pass the time as they walked. Hey, maybe now was a good time to stir up more conversation?* So Terra, how long have you been a Jedi?

Terra was glad that Rush was on their side, but she still hoped nothing would happen while they were away, even if they weren't going that far. She followed Morgan around the lake, her eyes not on the girl, but looking around at all the strange plants and fungi. She made a mental note to read more about Felucia and its plant life when she got the chance.
She looked back at Morgan and shrugged. "Almost a year. I...I wasn't a Jedi before I came to Corellia." Anyone who knew Terra knew that she didn't like discussing her life before the Jedi, mostly because she didn't remember half of it. The half that she did remember wasn't all that pleasant either. Morgan didn't know Terra that well yet, so she braced herself for questions about her past.

*Morgan frowned up at Terra. Only a year? Well, then again, it wasn't like there weren't other Jedi who hadn't gone into training until later in life. There was just something about Terra though, something that made her seem like she'd been in training longer than that. She looked down and shrugged, but then looked curiously back up at Terra.* What were you doing before you came to the Jedi? *Suddenly, she realized just how personal that question could be. People had dark pasts, something she often tended to forget. Grimacing, she stopped and shook her head suddenly, trying to look reassuring.* You don't have to tell me though! If it's something you don't want to tell me...

Terra sighed and shrugged, really not wanting to discuss this with Morgan right now and bring down the mood. Maybe later she would open up about, but now wasn't the time. "Yeah...sorry. I...I don't really like talking about it. Maybe I'll tell you about it some other time." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for just a moment, then opened them and smiled down at Morgan. "Anyway, enough about sad stuff. Did you want to walk anywhere else? We can go wherever you want." She hoped that Morgan would let it go, but she didn't seem like the prying type. Hopefully that would be the end of it, though Terra did mean it when she said she would talk about it some other time. Usually she wanted to get to know people a little longer before talking about her past.

*Turned out her precautions paid off, as Terra declared that she indeed did not want to talk about what her life was like before joining the Jedi. Unfortunately for Morgan, all this did was make her even more curious, but she knew not to ask. That didn't stop her from trying to speculate. She could have been a slave, or lived in the slums, or maybe she just wasn't proud of her past. Whatever it was, it seemed to distress Terra slightly, but at least there was the promise that Morgan would learn later.
Morgan smiled reassuringly up at Terra, just as Terra smiled at her, ending the conversation about "sad stuff" and asking if there was anywhere else Morgan wanted to walk, and that they could go wherever Morgan wanted. Morgan looked thoughtful, gazing about the surrounding jungle, then shrugged.* We could walk through the jungle some more if you wanted. There's not a lot close by, unless you wanted to walk back to that cliff. *Morgan again found herself wishing they had a lot more time to see places; all the good places were too far away to show Terra right now. Maybe some other time, Morgan hoped.*

Terra smiled and shrugged, figuring that Morgan would know best if there was anything nearby. It didn't seem like there were many interesting landmarks that were close enough to reach on foot in a reasonable amount of time. That was slightly disappointing, but she guessed that there might be some other time where Morgan could really show her some interesting landmarks. In any case, she decided to leave it up to the girl. "Um...we can go wherever you want, I guess. You know this place a lot better than I do."

*Morgan smiled and nodded; indeed she knew the jungle, and very well at that. Seeing as they still had a little while until sunset, Morgan figured they might as well travel up to the cliff. It would be a good view, and maybe a good place to talk. Depending on what they could talk about. Morgan actually had a lot of things to talk about, so even if Terra didn't want to talk about herself, they'd still have enough time to talk.* Alright then, let me get my stuff and we can go! *She went to her pile of clothing, picked up her shirt, then just looked at it. Grinning, she crouched down, pulled her bag toward her, and stuffed her clothes inside. Hitching her backpack over her shoulders, she turned toward Terra, grinning widely, repressing laughter.* Okay, I'm ready! *Morgan tittered then let out a fit of uncontrollable giggles. It wasn't like it would be the first time she went hiking naked, far from it, but something about it right now just seemed really silly. She hoped Terra didn't mind, and it seemed like she wouldn't based on their earlier conversation, but still, she felt silly. In a good way.*

Terra had almost thought that Morgan was going to get dressed when she picked up her shirt, but she couldn't say she was surprised when that shirt, along with the rest of the girl's clothes was stuffed into the backpack. She couldn't help but laugh along with Morgan at her going hiking while naked, and while she found it just a little strange, she figured it was still all right. Besides, Morgan obviously preferred nudity, and in a way, it made Terra envy the girl a little. She wished she could be as comfortable in her own skin as Morgan seemed to be...
She shook off those thoughts and smiled at Morgan. "OK. Lead on, Morgan."
