The Rakatan starfighter was a wing shaped starfighter used by the Infinite Empire. Boasting only 2 laser cannons, this starfighter was lightly armed and armoured, relying instead, on its speed and agility to dance across the battlefield. During the Rakatas expansions into the Deep Core, the Infinite Empire warship Devourer was seemingly lost. This led to Predor Skal'nas dispatching his Force Hound Trill to track down the Force presence of her former brood mate Xesh. As a result, Trill used a Rakatan starfighter as she attempted to track Xesh down to the Force rich world in the Tython system.
