In an operation such as this, normally the Zabrak Sith was at the head of the assault group, pushing his way through the enemy lines. On this day, however, he was merely observing the progress being made. The Landing Zone was secure. Silver Armored Sith Troopers were dug in and ready to defend the area. The rotary cannons on the Assault Landers occasionally chattering off a few bursts to unseen targets in the distance. The main group itself, has progressed to the outer steps leading up into the base proper. Blaster fire could be barely made out in the distance. Lightsabers flashed and sparked as well. Closing his eyes, allowing his senses to wander, he merely stood there. Panic, fear and desperation hung in the air. The stench of death also hung around too. Drinking it all in, the Zabrak Sith allowed his mind to sink deeper into the Force, drawing on the darkness within. The spirits of the six Zabrak elders within his mind were restless, more so than usual. Be it from the drawing of fresh blood, the unstable, creeping darkness of the storm around them, or the fact that the Sith had gathered in such a large number, was unknown to him. But they were restless. And he was eager to unleash the power they granted him, but for the time being, he wasn't going to exert himself more than necessary. He had one target in mind. The Grandmaster of the Order. The one who had broadcast that the Jedi were willing and able to aid the Galactic Alliance in whatever capacity the Jedi could fulfill. A foolish notion, to be sure, as the Galactic Alliance was on the verge of collapse. With the most recent strike against Dathomir, the Alliance was failing to hold together. And surely, after this little escapade, the faith would be lost in the Jedi as well. There were many ways to defeat an opponent. Humiliation, deception, swaying the opinions of the masses. All of it was useful. Regardless of whether or not the Blackguard was able to actually destroy the Jedi Order outright with this move was irrelevant. The initial damage in the eyes of the public was already done. The Sith had managed to land on Felucia. They had managed to blindside the Jedi and reach the ground. And that victory right there, was what would drive them forwards, causing more damage in the process. Extending his perceptions outwards, reaching the minds of those that followed, he spoke to them.
The darkness rises to consume the light! Press forward! Press forward until there is no light left to consume!
Opening his eyes, he then began walking forward, towards the battle. Centered within himself, soaked to the bone and trudging through the mud, he pressed forward to the entrance. Around him, lightsabers flashed, blaster bolts danced back and forth and explosions sent geysers of mud skywards. And still he marched forward. As he reached the bottom step, he began gathering more energy, feeding off of the death around him. It gave him strength, it gave him focus. And it would sustain him, long after this battle was finished. As he stood at the bottom step, he looked up at the door, taking in its features. Lines, cracks, creases. Dings, dents and pockmarks. Blaster scoring and streaks of carbon. Blood stains and rivulets of water. Extending his right hand outwards, he sent a powerful telekinetic blast at the door, and continued to push on it as hard as he could. Feeding off of the death and conflict around him, and allowing his very essence to warp and corrupt those that were susceptible to such a traumatic experience, he slowly began to climb the steps, eyes focused on nothing else but the door. It would give under his will. A door like this wasn't meant to last. Another step up. The groaning of the hinges greeted his ears. Another step up. The splintering of wood. Another step. The shifting of stone. Another step. At this point he was half way up the steps, all his focus on the door, bearing down on it like the rising tides against a dam. And he continued to push. This door was feeble. Caught between the opposing sides of the conflict, it would break...

22 NPC Jedi Brutes/Temple protectors -Each armed with 1 saberstaff and core force powers-
The group continued their effort so sunk into the force they were oblivious to all else, all except the five who stood around the force barrier engaging the Sith troops, their saber staffs twirling in a dangerous dance of death as blaster bolts ricocheted off their perfect djem-so technique, the encroaching forces falling feet away, but it was only a matter of time. The very existence of the twentieth two seemed quite trivial to the Sith, they were content to allow their forces to engage knowing in time the sheer numbers would overwhelm the twentieth two, dealing with a few temple guardians was not their objective and whilst the guardians focused on quelling the still raging storm they weren't going to get in the way of the Sith's real focus. However that didn't stop the warriors of light channeling their combined energies against the monster storm, if one were to look through the force they would see a radiant light, pouring, beam like into the center of the storm, the light side energy building, expanding, fracturing the dark energies, soon there would be a cataclysm, a fracturing, the light tearing against the dark and the residuals energies tearing themselves apart and dispersing into the surroundings, once more balance would be restored on this small scale, but at what cost?
---------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile Qas paced back and forth, no Master had he come across, he shook his head and then clamped his hand into a fist.
"It's time for me to be put to the test, that's what was said in my Knighting ceremony, to see how I embrace what it means to be a Knight. I'm not a Padawan anymore I have to make my own decisions be guided by the force."
He saw Elepha look at him differently for a moment, then she just nodded.
"Soooo, Knight Stryker." She said, teasing him. "What's your plan"
Gather what you know, his senses told him the dark side approached, and a great body of it, stretching out through the force he could already feel the chaos, the tumult, quietening his mind he could also perceive a gathered assembly of Jedi toward what Qas knew to be the main entrance, prepared calmly to face down what ever managed to breach this hallowed place. Yet Qas teachings pulled at him like strings, not the teachings of the Jedi, but his Father. Once before his detection his Father had served in the Imperial corps and had passed on tactical and millitary insight that now came to Qas' mind.
"Divide and conquer, fear, power, deception, these are some of the more common tools of the Sith, they don't fight the good fight. Republic, First Order, they have codes son, they play to the rules of engagement, even the Jedi, their methods are all different, but the respect, even if it's begrudgingly it's still given. The Sith, the dark side, from what I have seen of it, the members of it I have dealt with, it's a different animal. They have their sole objective, and they don't care about rules, or what's right, they'll take it, they won't try just the high road or the low road, they will do all the roads and make roads that shouldn't even be roads and then some, do you understand son. They're unpredictable and a law unto themselves, but their weakness is their obsession, their single mindedness, just as much as this is their strength."
How, how could he use this? The Dark side sought power, this could mean they just wanted to display their power by attempting to destroy their Jedi nemesis, but judging by history one would know this could not be achieved in a single assault, so Qas counted this as not what they sought, they sought power incarnate, so the question was, what lay on Felucia within the temple that they craved so much they would bring an army just to get it!
"I don't know what they seek, but it's something they crave, that they didn't have before, something that's here, only the archives will hold the answer. I just hope we can find what it is before it's too late."

Maroth had been so focused with his plans to re-unite with the newly formed Jensaarai, he hadn't noticed the Force-storm or the frantic motion of the base's personnel until he made it to the main hall where the door was shut with a rather tall, but still shorter than him, Master standing with his arms outstretched facing the locked entrance.
You are such a moron. How could you not feel a disturbance in the Force of this magnitude?
Oh shut up. You didn't feel it either. But it is alarming I did not notice this much activity in the Dark Side.
It seems you have much to learn young one.
Maroth shook his head then closed his eyes and reached out across the invaders and the defenders. He could feel several iconic Force signatures, but just as he pulled back, one of the signatures phased out abruptly. His eyes flew open and at the risk of interrupting the Master addressed him.
This attack is a feint. What do the Sith want? What is here that is so important?
Hopefully the Master wouldn't mistake his Sithspawn appearance as an enemy. This temple had served as a place to help strengthen his powers so he wanted to repay that favor by protecting it.

*Just as expected, their assault was upon the door. Aerandir kept his mind focused upon the barrier, though not to hold it in place, no... Mentally, he ran over every new detail with every barrage from the powerful darksider outside, the visual in his mind shifting to match each time. It was only a matter of time before it would give...
And once it did, rending free with a shower of debris, Aerandir caught it in the Force. Its inertia transferred to his own body, causing him to slide several feet backward even as the door halted in midair. Immediately after he came to a halt, he pulled one fist back and took a step forward, thrusting it into the center of the door, sending it hurtling towards the advancing agents of darkness.
A brief exhalation was all that followed before he adjusted his stance and removed his lightsaber from his belt, the very same lightsaber that housed the purified Dantari crystal within. As steeped within Ashla as was his very spirit. Even now, in the face of this storm, he stood in complete calm. For only the second time, the lightsaber sang to life, producing a blade of purest white as he held it before him in a defensive position, a visual representation of the beacon of light the Grand Master had devoted himself to become.
He had not ignored the Sithspawn addressing him; simply put, his current task had been far more important. The question had not gone unheard, and only now did he answer,* "What couldn't they want? This is the home of the Jedi Order. Even if it were a feint, we can't simply leave the front door unguarded, can we?"

It seemed that while Vasari might have picked up her approach, the Zabrak had her own plans. For a moment, she felt her friend's presence brush up against her once more before quickly disappearing. She doubted any really felt it go. With the power of the darkness emanating from the storm, the chaos from the battle, as well as the gathered Sith, very few would have been able to distinguish Vasari's individual presence or that it suddenly flickered out. For her, they were the distraction. While there most likely a few Jedi scattered about inside, she guessed the majority would have come rushing to the front door where the Sith were attacking from, ready to defend their home. It would allow her mission to go much more smoothly.
Turning her attention back to the battle, she had noticed the flying saberstaves of the defenders had come to a stop and the faint glow of blue through the rain had been reduced. Had the others already been taken out already? She could hope so as to reserve her power as much as possible. But it proved a false belief as she moved close towards the base. She could pick out five lights, but felt the presence of more. Not only that, they were growing. It wasn't but a few moments later that she began to feel the rain lessen and the dark clouds begin their shift to gray. The best she could tell was these defenders had turned their attention to dispelling the storm instead of fighting the invading forces.
But as the rain slowly began to lighten up, she could begin to make out the scene before her. Most of their ground forces were engaged with the enemy, leaving the Brutes alone for now. It seemed she would have to step up and finish the job. Viox was working on the main entrance with the others either waiting for the door to give or keeping back the enemies ground forces. Keeping hidden in the rain the best she could now and working to stay hidden behind her own troops, she began her attack.
Reaching out both her hands, she sought out the necks of the center Jedi of the five and the one to his left with a Force Choke. The power she required to grab them both effectively wouldn't have gone unnoticed for long, yet she had anticipated her assault from her turn her presence into a beacon for them, hence hiding the best she could. If they could sense her, it was best to still keep out of their sight to buy her a little more time if possible. Seeking to crush their necks, she'd lift them into the air a bit before slamming them hard against the barrier before throwing them off to the sides, right into the remaining three. If she was lucky, the surprise from the attack would cause a quick unawareness of their weapons' positions and kill each other. If not, she'd use the temporary disruption to take the staves from the two Jedi she had killed with her choke and strike them down that way.
Her power began to grow in the onslaught. There was something about fighting Jedi that drove her harder, increased her anger, and enhanced her focus. Not only was she seeking to prove herself and her worth to her master and the Sith'ari, but to show the Jedi their own failure. She had worked to better form her hatred for the Jedi, nurtured it so that it was always there in the back of her mind, strong and clear. They had denied her training when she first discovered her skills in the Force. They saw through her, saw what she really sought, and hoped that by denying her, she wouldn't acquire the power to accomplish her desires. Instead of accepting her, working to shape and mold her into something better, the cast back into the ocean in hops she wouldn't be found again. But her desires had led her to the Sith, and now, she was here to show them all what she had learned over the years. And being at the heart of the Jedi Order, she would send her message, display for them their failure.

This is the home of the Jedi Order. Even if it were a feint, we can't simply leave the front door unguarded, can we?" **Vixont could feel the Grand Master's strain as he focused the Force. While the Grand Master was focused and determined, the Sage let Aerandir know through the Force that an old ally was on his way. Vixont's own inner light still radiating as he walked briskly toward Aerandir's presence. Vibrating it's own determination and resolve to bolster and boost the Light side being used to face down the Dark side with a calming and soothing touch.**
**The 6'4" Falleen Sage walked with a growing determination with each step, bringing him closer and closer to his destination. His Grey skin and Icy blue eyes revealing a stoic resolve on his face like that of a 1000 yard stare. At first glance, one would almost think he was a battle-weary veteran who had seen one too many wars. His face did wear many scars and his modified armor did bear the tell-tale signs of countless battles of the past. He was not motley or unkempt, but seasoned and disciplined.**
**As soon as the Grand Master was in sight, the Sage could sense his battle readiness as he himself made his own way closer with the same kind of readiness.**
**Vixont positioned himself a few steps to the left of Aerandir's left flank. Ready to provide the ability to cover the Grand Master's back with a swift step should someone be cowardly and foolish enough to try to attack his blind spot.**
"Been a few decades since we last met Friend." *Vixont's tone was playful almost, but direct.* "Good to see that the more things change, the more they stay the same."
**The Sage pulled on his dual-saber on his back with his right hand and thumbed his activator as he pulled the unstable violet blade downward with signature snap-hiss and hum. The blade itself swirling hypnotically. Inches away from actually touching the ground.**

Maroth nodded understanding the Master's point. After all, he had spent almost a decade under the tutelage of a mad scientist Sith Lord.
I don't believe the good Master understood your question to its fullest extent.
I agree. There is something else afoot here besides just the Sith attacking this temple because there are Jedi here.
As Maroth stood in those few moments, he watched another Jedi, a Falleen, join the Master in a display of old friendship. With the two of them facing the door, sabers lit, Maroth closed his eyes and expanded his essence over the whole battlefield. He saw Masters, Knights, and Apprentices readying themselves for attack. Younglings being ushered into the relative safety of the Dormitories. Temple personnel taking up tactical firing positions in various hallways to lock down intruders. But nowhere was there any--wait, there. In the vaults deep below the base, Maroth could just barely sense the signature of several artefacts. This must be what the Sith are after.
Ooooo, toys. Maybe we should check those out later. Never know what could come in handy.
Perhaps we can ask for a tour later. Right now we must help these two prevent the Sith from gaining any ground inside the Temple.
Oh Oh Oh, I've got a great idea. Get a really big staff, stand in the doorway, and yell "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Then slam the staff into the ground and create an earthquake that opens the ground and swallows the Sith.
That is a ridiculous suggestion. Besides, I think it's already been done before by someone else.
Phrak. I thought it was a good idea too.
Maroth opened his eyes, to the outside observer he only had them closed for several seconds, and addressed the two Jedi.
It is likely that the Sith are after the artefacts that were just recently placed into the vaults below the base.
Maroth took several steps to come abreast of the Masters, and then he unclipped both his lightsabers and ignited their crackling violet blades in a flourish. His body immediately settled into the core stance of Djem So as Maroth cleared his mind with a Jensaarai mental technique.
We can worry about that later. Anyone happen to have a conveniently available weapon that would make this fight easier? Asking for a friend.

The two Guardians span their saber staffs easily batting away a flurry of bolts, their minds focused on what they could see before them, their focus was absolute, that was until they felt their trachea suddenly tighten to about the size of a pinhole, even for all of their training there was a moment of shock, their saberstaff's falling groundward as they attempted to focus the force to stave off being rendered unconscious through loss of air, regardless as with everything the Sith did was always a reception, so as the two men rose airborne and danced like some deranged marionettes the Guardians under the seat of this attack from the force believed they had a chance. They were toyed with, of course it was all over in a minute or two, yet time plays a funny rhythm when one is the recipient, of course the one unit of time was the same, it just felt agonisingly drawn out for the two unfortunate souls who were hurled airborne and discarded dog doll like into the force barrier, accompanied by the sickening slick sound of wet blood and the cracking and rending apart of physical matter. They were discarded just as a child mid tantrum throws her toys in protest.
The three remaining Guardians however had perhaps something more about them, for now at least rate was playing a different game with them. For with the recession of the storm came a heightened awareness, they had begun to perceive signatures through the force, of course none were familiar and why should they be, for all that rage, anger and malice was a putrid foreign tongue, a language Jedi didn't speak not understand. Yet feel certain presences they could and hers illuminated like a lighthouse. An erruption of sudden pure and unadulterated rage.
In response, in the same moment the three soon to be remaining guardians leaped somersaulting over the barrier to the left placing themselves with rocks to the left and the wall of the temple behind them, the barrier to their right, the three of them landed to face the slim lithe build before them. A woman, all feline grace, athleticism and roiling in the intense hot emotions of the dark side, she seemed to cock her head to one side and smiled a sinister wry smile as she playfully twirled both saberstaff's around her frame. The sabers of their fallen brethren, how dare she!"No more Jedi shall fall by your hand this day." The head of what was now a triangular trio formation spoke as the three Guardians all bent their knees into a soft position, twirled their virtually identical orange blades and set back into Djem-So, then with an unseen signal the merry dance of lethal energy began.
Jedi 1 being the head of the trio was the first to close distance, twirling his staff from his right side to his left to slice diagonally at Luxeria's shoulder, he sought to strike with one blade first then drawing the first blade diagonally from right to left to slice, the second blade would follow in the same motion.
Jedi's 2 and 3 sought to step around to their respective sides, Jedi 2 to the left and 3 to the right, to cut of Luxeria's movement and force her backward. They awaited her response, to either strike or defend as need be, to offer cover to their Jedi brother as need be.

Luxeria watched the the three jedi not under her power dodged their comrades she threw around, as well as their weapons. Her element of surprise and stealth had finally vanished. Such a thing was to be expected, however. It was easy enough in her first assault for finding her was difficult due to the power of the storm, the rain, and the little amount of power she actually needed to put out. But all of that was shifting, fading away. Now it was time for a direct confrontation. If anything, there was only three remaining actually concerned with combat.
The two saberstaves she had taken control of flew back to her as the three evaded her attack with them. She wasn't so skilled with the use of a saberstaff when it was in her hands. In the grip of her mind, however, was another mater entirely. Any would find that the strength her exhibited matched her physical strength, if not surpassed it. Telekinesis was by far her strongest ability. The staves spun around her, perfectly opposite each other as they also twirled from their central axis. She utilized this as a barrier, applying her knowledge into a twin Telekinetic saberstaff Soresu.
When the lead Jedi spoke, her smirk grew. "Guess we'll see." Her voice was dark, seductive, and confident. But she was far from cocky. She had faced all manner of dangerous creatures since the start of her training: a Terentatek, on Kashyyk, an alchemic creature of Sidious on Mustafar, fallen Sith and warlords, as well as apprentice Jedi. But she knew she had to be better focused here. The previous were primal creatures or weaker beings. These three were skilled masters. While she didn't know them to be Jedi Brutes and their particular mission, hence the strength and power they needed, she was quite certain these weren't run of the mill Jedi, especially not when they're the first to attack and at the forefront of the fight.
Still, her smirk never faded as they made their attack. Her eyes scanned the he three as they moved in, seeing the front Jedi to make an attack. A fancy spin of the blade fell smoothly into its attack, despite being the stronger, brutish form. As the blade came down for its first strike, Luxeria dropped down into the splits. While this action would have been enough on its own to avoid the strikes, she took no chances as the two hovering saberstaves crossed into an X to block the attack. Wasting no time when she was fully settled on the ground, she pushed out her palms at the Jedi's knees, releasing just enough force to knock his legs out from under him and send him forward. With that, the saberstaves moved. The saberstaff closer to her right turned counterclockwise. The staff more to her left extinguished the blade holding the Jedi's blade and spun counterclockwise as well.
The goal was with her push, along with the sudden release of tension on the Jedi's assault would cause him to fall forward, neck exposed. With this, the spinning staves would have the left most slicing upwards at his neck while the other was coming down on him from behind.

Always prepared was the mantra of the Felucian temple defense force, one never rose to such a position as this without proving testament to this statement, as well as being hand selected from amongst the Jedi numbers who had a certain higher level of proficiency in combat.
Djem-So was largely focused on its elements of power, yet never power just for powers sake, Jedi 1 like his compatriots also hadn't failed to notice the Sith's preference to control her stolen sabers through the use of telekinetic means; interesting.
As Jedi 1's first strike met hers, notably his movement could be stopped or prevented, but this would be uneconomical, so instead the lead Jedi resumed the motion, now assisting his motions with the accompaniment of the force. In conjunction with the rolling forward motion of the saberstaff's movement he leaped, using the momentary crossed blades as a fulcrum as he leaped clear over her ground prone form, hopefully this would force her to reconsider what she may have had in store for as he completed his flip and descended the front blade that had been touching hers would have come free of any possible attempt at manipulation and he now sought to thrust this very blade behind him to stab at the small of her back.
Meanwhile Jedi 2 and 3 had indeed resumed unimpeded and these two seemed to have formed more of a link to work in tandem as they moved past her blades at the moment they crossed to intercept the attack from Jedi 1 the duo struck. As Luxeria dropped prone into splits they sliced at her mid section with mirror image lateral strikes.

As the lead Jedi leapt over her, moving in tandem with her own attack, it proved what Luxeria thought. These warriors were swift, focus, and ready. Her attack wasn't a cheap trick that could just be avoided with a clear mind. Her moves were very much real and designed to kill if one wasn't capable. Along with that, there were three. Not only that, they were showing how effectively they worked as a team. Making their moves as the first Jedi took her attack, all three were now moving as one. Her window of escape was very small unless she used the Force, something she wanted to save as much as possible besides her telekinesis, only because it was second nature adapted enough to not require the same drain for two simple sabers.
Planting her hands in the ground, she used her acrobatic ability and strength to lift herself straight up, keeping her body as close to the center of being as well as keeping her legs split until she was almost in handstand. When she reached the top, she used the little bit of momentum gained from lifting herself to her own focus and strength to flip herself forward, bring her arms up to help the flip. It was a small flip with barely any height, but it was enough to clear the attacks as the strikes of Jedi 2 and 3 would meet the lead Jedi's attack.
This would prove to buy her little time as they would know where she was going. That and the sudden stop of their attacks might have taken from the fluid motion they could have followed up with, but it did two things. One, it kept any of the Jedi from potentially harming the other and two it allowed them to immediately reverse their movements to attack her again. Once again, if Luxeria was to make a move against them, the window was small. As her feet touched the ground, the two saberstaves seemed to follow her, driving into the ground beside her as she redirected her focus from their control for the moment. In that same moment, she dropped to a knee and spun around to face the Jedi, unleashing a barrage of violet lightning at Jedi 2 and 3.

Truly they danced now in the eye of the storm, just as she resided in its center away from the chaos, inspired by Status yes but her Soresu movements were clear, for at the center of the chaos was where Soresu liked to be, using minimal movement to avoid or redirect until the moment arose to strike, patient then was she, in it for the long game.
Dust kicked up as Jedi 1 landed yet his rearward thrust met nought but the air and swift as 2 and 3 were they were not swift enough to reverse their momentum, yet were perceptive enough tohalttheir staffs, briefly the two energy beams would point tip to tip before the Jedi on Luxeria's left and right flanks took a retreating step and drew their staffs vertical precisely as she landed, caught briefly unawares both 2 and 3 staggered a half step before catching the torrents of lethal energy as the tendrils played up and down the plasma blades, keeping Jedi 2 and 3 rooted until the Sith Lady ceased.
However just as 2 and 3 had moved unapposed previously, it was now the window of opportunity for 1, Luxeria's had leaped in the smallest window of time, thrust had occured and where lateral strikes should have rendered through flesh, instead they had Benn forced to cease and withdraw. So upon the moment his staff met the air and sensing where Luxeria was, Jedi 1 pulled his trusty staff forward and span to greet her as she landed bringing the saber around his standing form as he span. The hilt traveling with his motion with his own lateral strike from left to right, aimed to cut through the rear left shoulder of Luxeria's kneeling form, seeing how she was prepared and honed and nearly one step ahead, Jedi 1 began to draw focus, drawing in those tendrils of calmness, following the strike his mind raced to latch onto a nearby rock, roughly head sized, momentarily leaving the staff held in his dominant right hand, his left would snatch out behind him to seize the rock before propelling it at some velocity towards the back of Luxeria's spine, targeting the small of the back.

The moment the lightning meet the blue beams of light, Luxeria ceased her attack. She was not going to be drawn into a game of power that she couldn't win. Was it possible that people existed who could use Force Lightning and still overwhelm a lightsaber, making it useless as a defense? She believed so. However, she was not such a person and she knew it.
Once again, the window of attack and defend was small. This was a true battle of skilled opponents where one could not think, but let instinct and the Force guide one's actions. For everything she did, though it might have looked smooth and easy, the truth was she was pushing to keep up with the actions, trying to erase thought and feeling from the moment. Anger, passion, and hatred might have been the strength of the Sith, but in a moment such as these, she had to let go and take on the mindset she knew Vasari had. It was the only way to let her fluidity and grace move freely through her. And perhaps, the three Jedi would come to understand that. Yes, she learned the defensive form of Soresu, learned how to apply it, yet it was Makashi and Ataru that resided as her primary forms. Grace, agility, precision, and maneuverability were her strongest suits. And it was further shown with her next move.
As the lead Jedi made his attack, Luxeria did the only thing her mind knew to do. Her leg that was still up and being braced upon folded under her as she leaned back, showing her flexibility. Leaning almost the entire way to the ground, it kept her clear of the strike and opened up the Jedi to his own attack as the rock meant for her now painted him as the target. Truthfully unaware of the rock flying at her back as she was flowing with the moment, there was no telling if it would make contact for as he was almost over her, her hands lifted slightly from her side and unleashed another stream of lightning. This time, she hoped that her timing was ahead of the Jedi, allowing for her attack to get him before he could raise a defense.

Maroth nodded understanding the Master's point. After all, he had spent almost a decade under the tutelage of a mad scientist Sith Lord.I don't believe the good Master understood your question to its fullest extent.I agree. There is something else afoot here besides just the Sith attacking this temple because there are Jedi here.As Maroth stood in those few moments, he watched another Jedi, a Falleen, join the Master in a display of old friendship. This must be what the Sith are after.Ooooo, toys. Maybe we should check those out later. Never know what could come in handy.Perhaps we can ask for a tour later. Right now we must help these two prevent the Sith from gaining any ground inside the Temple.Oh Oh Oh, I've got a great idea. Get a really big staff, stand in the doorway, and yell "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" Then slam the staff into the ground and create an earthquake that opens the ground and swallows the Sith. That is a ridiculous suggestion. Besides, I think it's already been done before by someone else.Phrak. I thought it was a good idea too.Maroth opened his eyes, to the outside observer he only had them closed for several seconds, and addressed the two Jedi.It is likely that the Sith are after the artefacts that were just recently placed into the vaults below the base. **Something was...off about this one. Vixont was focused on the impending attack, but he couldn't help but sense the erratically cascading energy coming from Aerandir's ally. Upon a closer inspection, he looked like he was Sithspawn. Strange times led to strange alliances sure, but Vixont couldn't shake off the feeling that this man wasn't completely....together. With that, Vixont draws the Force to him and uses Shatterpoint on the strange man. It doesn't take long but the Sage can see that the man has a shattered psyche with two extra pair of eyes staring back at Vixont. Once the Sage 'sees' this, he stops using the shatterpoint technique. It starts to make sense in a strange way. He wasn't wholly evil, but neither is he wholly good.**"Your...initial assessment may or may not be correct. In my century of living in the universe, I've come to personally not put anything past the ambitious Sith. As they need little reason of provocation to use the Force to hurt or enslave people just because."**Only time and the Force will reveal what is actually correct. In any case though, it was time to focus on the task at hand.**"We do have a convenient weapon availible to us." **Vixont states dryly to the man.** "It's called the Force, so you better use it expertly before the Sith do. Otherwise this is going to be a short conversation and an even shorter introduction."

Eruestans Battle Meditation continued out, touching the minds of all who were standing in the Bases defense. There were many he had not met, and many old friends. He hoped that this contribution would help as he made all those who fought, fight as one and without fear. Though as he knew the doors would not last long, he reached out with his mind to the Grand Master.
Grand Master, I do not doubt that we will soon be overwhelmed here. If you must pull back, I will stay and cover your retreat.
The Knight knew that Aerandir would never agree to it, but he also knew that the Master had to know how important he is to the Base and Order as a whole, and if he fell here at the gate, all would likely be lost. But to those touched by his Meditation, he continued to send the soothing words:
The Force is with you. Trust in the Force.
Though he could feel the pain of those still standing outside the gate he pushed on, knowing that they had made their decisions and would be at peace for it.

Maroth looked at the Falleen and nodded in agreement. The Sith could be here for any reason, but he still knew that the Sith were most likely here for the artefacts. They rarely did anything without a reason. Only the most chaotic of the Sith would invade a planet simply for the sake of pillage and killing. Their entire focus was increased power and how to get that power in the easiest way possible no matter the cost.
The hulking Sithspawn grinned toothily at the Jedi in response to his banter. The Falleen had the same kind of humor that his childhood teacher, Master Jin'ron, had. Maroth liked this one.
In that case, I suppose I shouldn't hold back at all then.
Oooooo, are we gonna go all glowy-shiny?
If we must. I would rather not have to use that particular technique since we haven't fully mastered it yet, but I supposed drastic times and all.
Maroth released the activators, sheathing the blades with a hiss. Then he brought his hands forward with the palms up and the hilts rose into the air. Different parts from various pockets on his utility belt joined the lightsaber hilts in the air and then with a few alterations joined the two into a single saber staff. Though he had mastered Jar'Kai some years ago, Maroth still felt a connection to the bladed staff style of Rek'Dul. It had been said in times long past that a Ring Defender of the Jensaarai could overwhelm even a Jedi Blademaster in melee combat. Maroth had never been promoted due to being kidnapped by a deranged Sith, but his martial skill level was that of a high-level Defender.
Maroth was not done however. He stood in a relaxed, natural stance. His feet shoulder-width apart with his hands, one holding the now complete saberstaff, by his side. Force users would be able to sense Force energy from both the Light side and the Dark side begin to swirl around him in eddying currents almost as if it were the blood running though his body. Then he began to speak in a small voice audible to only the two next to him almost as if he were muttering under his breath.
Where there is Light there is Darkness, where there is Darkness there is Light; Through Passion bound in Patience, there is Knowledge; Through Knowledge forged in Strength, there is Power; Through Power entwined in Serenity, there is Order; Through Order unified with Chaos, there is Balance; Through Balance, there is the Force; The Force shall set me free.
With those last words, the currents of energy encircling his body exploded into raging torrents of barely regulated chaos. The very air around him was vibrated at such a frequency it caused the molecules to become ionized. This manifested itself in a lightning-like phenomenon which arced from his body to random spots around him. Then those same torrents of Force energy began to become more focused. Maroth had begun to draw both the Light and the Dark energy into himself as his two dual natures began to meld into one being.
Come let us be one once again.
Let our Maker tremble.
We are Balance.
Maroth's eyes flew open, but they were no longer the vivid purple hued color as before. His right eye was as if a miniature sun had been implanted in his skull. Such was the searing light that issued from it. His left eye a deep yawing pit of eternal darkness that seemed to devour the light just as the other eye produced it. Occasionally lightning still arced from his body to the ground or wall, but not in the same frequency that it just had been. His voice changed as well. It was as if two people were speaking at the same time in perfect harmony creating an altogether new sound.
To be honest we did not want to use this technique in battle yet, but the Force wills what it pleases. Even though I don't know truly how long I can hold this power, it will be long enough. Let them come.

Her agility and grace was clearly her greatest asset as so was her ability to meld and flow,to move her body in such a way to avoid the strike further cemented her reliance upon her agility acrobatics and flexibility, the more the fight prolonged the more it became clear that to assure victory the trio would have to move to cut off her movement and restrict her freedom.
The lead Jedi continued with his spin for he sensed her movement and knowing precisely where the guided missile in the form of the rock was headed he effortlessly guided the rock into the path of the lightning, as it errupted from her fingertips it collided with the rock and the energy was so great the rock exploded peppering him with fragmented chunks that stung and bruised but did little else. Having been granted a mere moment of composure he was able to bring his saber to bear bringing the blades to be in front of him as he strode forward towards her, the torrent of energy he began to deflect back toward her, he tuned into the force to do so and began to take slow laboured steps toward her in an attempt to force her back.
In the same moment as Luxeria's ceased her focused lightning assault and dropped the Jedi to her left and right stepped in toward her with quick lunges, lunges performed as so not to over extend, lunges that allowed them to cart away quickly in a swift retreat if need be. Accompanying the lunge like motion was a simple two handed thrust with the blade. The thrusts were aimed low at her abdominal region, the second blade of both saberstaff's would be angled at forty five to the right of Jedi 2 and 3's respective bodies. The Jedi being a oneness with each other through years of training moved with the same collective thought. Just as Jedi 1 sought to force Luxeria backward, Jedi 2 and 3 shared the same thought. If they could manipulate and force her hand they could drive her toward the high wall of the temple building. If Jedi 2 and 3 failed with their intended strikes, then a spike in their force signatures would tell Luxeria they too were calling to control the force, open themselves to it, and their focus, their focus would be her.

Without hesitation came the next batch of assaults with all three Jedi working in tandem with one another. And this fact was starting to really push her. Physically, she wasn't bad off, still capable of going on. Her training had certainly taken care of that. It was the mental aspect she was losing. The speed and flow of the battle was taking from her any ability to think and having her run on her instinct. While that was the goal a fighter needed to have, she had yet to make it a fully natural part of her being. Had it been a single Jedi, it would have been a problem. But their were three and the way their attacks moved in and around each so smoothly only made it harder. She had been outnumbered before, but she had been able to catch them off guard and end them quickly before they could retaliate. It wasn't the case here. The pressure the three put on her was working conflicts in her mind as it wanted to think instead of letting her body just flow naturally by way of the Force. It wouldn't be much longer before it finally disrupted her flow completely.
Her current position truly didn't help her situation, either. She was flat against the ground with all three Jedi making an attack. Her last instinctual thought moved through her head as she planted her hands on the ground beside her as close to her shoulders as she could as well as lifted her knees. With all her strength she pushed herself across the ground, allowing her legs to straighten back out, allowing her to flip back as the blades dug into the ground where she just was.
But this was where the Jedi took hold of the moment. The time it took her to roll back to her feet gave the Jedi all the time needed to move in close. Their positions and angles of attack allowed them to step forward, keeping in time with the woman's movements as the second blade came around to slash diagonally from each side in a mirror image. As the attack came, all she could do jump back slightly in a sloppy fashion when compared to her earlier movements. It was clear they had succeeded in disrupting her flow. But the assault didn't stop as the lead Jedi moved in as the other two Jedi cleared their attack, spinning the blade overhead before bringing it down diagonally from her left to right. She stumbled back and to the left as the second Jedi attacked, keeping her from moving anywhere but back as the other Jedi followed suit when she tried to move that way. They moved separately now, watching her, herding her towards the temple wall where she wouldn't have any escape. And with her movements becoming more sloppy as her evades began to seem off balance, making her look like and amateur for a few moments.
it was then that all three Jedi made a thrust at her mid section, knowing they were taking control of the battle . This caused her to leap backward. Not giving her a moment to gain her footing, the lead Jedi moved in to keep up the pressure. It left Luxeria with no time to get her footing to dodge again. She took hold of herself with her Telekinesis, trying to focus it so that she could carry herself. She had never succeeded before, always having to stand on something to carry her around. But it was no or never. And it worked.
She glided across the ground, allowing her to keep moving back with some of the grace she had shown previously. Still not wanting to let up, the lead Jedi kept up with another strike as the two other Jedi sped up to her sides, not wanting her to gt away and gather herself. All at once the attacked in a triangular fashion. It was here that Luxeria lifted herself upwards, her feet going first as if moving into a front flip. Once her legs moved above her body, she truly flipped forward, landing upon the shoulder of the lead Jedi. In a single, fluid motion, her hand removed the lightsaber hilt on her belt, taking it in a reverse grip before activating the purple blade and plunging it straight down into the back of the lead Jedi and through his heart.
She jumped a bit forward off his shoulders, touching down a stumbling forward a bit before dropping to a knee to look back at the other Jedi. Her breath was becoming a bit heavy from the toll the Force was taking on her. She needed to catch her breath and refocus her mind, but the pace of the battle wasn't allowing for it. At most, she had only a couple of seconds before the Jedi would be back on her again. She couldn't afford to draw this battle out any further. If it did, she wasn't sure if she'd have the ability to press on into the temple with her master without being a hindrance. She had to end it now and the only way was to draw them in with a deceptive move. Using the current situation to her advantage, she pushed herself to her feet, letting her legs stay farther apart and bent in like someone trying to hold themselves up, trying to keep up the fight. She brought up her saber and held it with both hands in a low grip and her head was down a little as her eyes looked out at the pair from just under her eyelids. Would they believe she was getting winded and couldn't go on? No telling, but she needed to be ready to play it out a bit jut in case.

While the battle raged on - viox and the main force pressing with purpose towards the main gate - Vasari moved quiet as a stalking Nexu around the spans of the outer wall. She had studied the map they had of this place and it seemed strangely outdated. The wall was not the right shape - there were buildings where they shouldn't have been and one of the main buildings she was looking for to use as an infiltration spot was not there at all. It was almost like the entire base structure had been rebuilt - She exhaled softly remaining calm - her mind still deep in meditation hiding herself from the force - which meant she couldn't risk mental communication. Raising the new risk comm to her mouth she whispered softly.
::Be advised - Data on base structure out of date - upload the new map from the images taken from orbit::
As she processed her own update on the risk comm giving her a working map of the base but not as detailed as the one they had before She found the Archives - or at least the building she assumed to be the archives and moved at once towards the wall. Reaching into her her cloak with her hands she seemed to disappear from sight completely - the inky blackness of the cloak concealing the red of her skin leaving nothing but a black shadow upon the base's outer wall. Her hands emerged moments later with a pair of durasteel shuko wrapped around her gloves. She raised a hand towards the stone wall and with a scratching sound she found purchase and moved her way upwards climbing the full length of the wall without the aid of the force - She must reach the archives before the advanced group Viox was sending - and without being located by the Jedi defenders in the process - the wall was only the first of many hurdles she had to leap to get there. She hoped with the battle being as hot as it was nearly a half mile to her flank she would be largely overlooked.

Would they believe she was getting winded and couldn't go on? No telling, but she needed to be ready to play it out a bit jut in case. They saw there comrade and brother in arms fall, they felt his light in the force become extinguished. He had been more than a light, more than a Brother, a truer warrior and staunch defender had never existed. Yet now was not the time for grief, only a clear head and focused mind would see the deed was done and that the Sith bitch would be vanquished before the day was out.
The now two remaining Jedi extinguished the latter of their blades so they were both left with a single lit blade emitting from a longer than normal hilt, for now came the time for a more agile weapon that they could guide more precisely.
Yet their job was done, praise be to Ashala, throughout the period of the fight so far the remaining sisters and brothers had continued to pour their will into the storm and now the very sky itself seemed to rupture. A cataclysmic crack sounded out, energy tendrils split and spasmed across the sky as the energies of the force exploded and imploded in equal measure, one final loud crack and then the clouds erruption in a downpour of rain as though the planet itself were trying to eliminate the taint of the storm. The Jedi whom had been the focus gave up her will, her body seeming to melt and float off into her last out pouring of energy, her numbered sisters and brothers collapsed to the ground exhausted and at peace, the energy shield dissipated as they knew their task was done, they barely felt the energised plasma strike their mortal forms as they went to ashlas Bossom.
The two Jedi exchanged a look, for they had gathered enough focus, they were centered and calm. Holding their hilts in their right hands they simultaneously lifted their left hands and poured forth the force, it obeyed their will as they sought to push down on her, force her groundward, together they would telekinetically bind her to the ground and gradually close in on her.
