Just about that point, SWAT rushed into the room, drawn by the blaster fire. They were wuick to take custody of the two still breathing criminals, quickly hauling them away & off the property along with rest of the already stunned goons. In other parts of the compound, more SWAT members continued the running battle.
Picking up the wounded Tusken once again with the help of the Force, Mary rushed back to the speeder. Not even stopping while she called to Dandy to join them. Dandy managed to jump into the speeder just as Mary was taking off. One wild & hectic ride through the town ended with the speeder more or less intact at the landing ramp of the Central Pod. Letting Dandy carry the girl onto the Pod, Mary quickly made her way to the cockpit. The engines were already warm thanks to the connection in her mask.
The boarding ramp was still closing when the ship began accelerating toward the Jedi Temple.

A few minutes after leaving the Temple & nearly two hours since leaving the town. Mary once again flew into Kway Teow. Although this time she was riding in the much larger Tempest & the droids were doing the flying. This means the landing didn't look like a crash in progress. Settling down gently on the landing pad, the Tempest slowly powered down its engines. The maiden flight with the new engines had gone perfectly. At least after the hiccup while trying to take off was finished.
Leading the way out of the ship, Mary was followed by Naan & the HV.
-Mary First stop is right here in the port. We can buy food & water to fill the yacht & they will load it while we do the rest of the shopping.
A few minutes of haggling with the port supply manager later & Mary was confident that the yacht would at least have basic supplies once they returned. Once that was done, Mary lead her group out toward the market district.

Naan had watched the ship take off and was amazed at the sights she saw. No matter how many times she saw the ground from up high it always seemed different. She took her Bantha doll back from Mary and ran to her room again, getting ready to depart the ship as they landed. She stashed her doll away and grabbed her mace-like gaderffi, using a sling to put it on her back. She met Mary and the droid at the ramp and followed closely beside her, as always.
-Naan in Tusken- "What kind of furniture does a ship need? The only things on the ship my clan owns has mats on for sleeping. I guess we could use a few more mats."
Naan looked in the window of a shop in the market, filled with dresses. She pointed at a bright blue and sparkly dress in the window.
-Naan in Tusken- "Do Outsiders really wear those?"

Mary smiled as the stream of questions.
-Mary Well, the ship is kind of empty right now. It needs beds & sleeping mats true enough. But it also needs dressers & cabinets. Those will keep you from having to just pile all your gear on the floor. The ship is big enough we have plenty of room. & it moves on its own so we don't have to worry about carrying everything.
Stopping to look at the sparkly dress, all Mary could see was a fighting hazard & horrible overdone. But she knew at one point it would have looked beautiful.
-Mary Some do. Do you like it? If you want we can get a bolt of the cloth & I'll help you make robes like your current ones out of it.

Naan shook her head quickly when Mary offered to help her make robes out of the dress material.
-Naan in Tusken- "Oh, I couldn't wear something like that. That would be silly. I'd be the laughing stock of the whole clan!"
Naan let out a laugh and ran a bit ahead of Mary, trying to get a better look around to take everything in. She stopped in front of a holoscreen that was running advertisements for the local businesses. With a confused tone Naan turned back to Mary and waved her over.
-Naan in Tusken- "There's a picture of a furniture story on this screen but it keeps getting replaced by a picture about a dance club, whatever that is."

Pulling up a local directory in her HUD, Mary quickly search around for a passable furniture shop. It didn't take too long to find one close enough that would deliver to the hanger. Leading the way there took a little time, but not too much as it was still barely after noon locally. Stepping into the large showroom Mary had to appreciate the wide range of furniture suited to any number of species & in any number of designs being displayed in real size & high-definition holo projectors scattered around the room. Mary decided to take a moment to show Naan how to use the displays before picking out the furniture for her room & the main areas of the ship.
-Mary Just touch the pictures to make a big version appear. Touch these little triangles on either side to see more little pictures to pick from. Pick out what you want & let me know.

Naan enters the furniture store and immediately runs up to a display, going through dozens of items in the list before stopping on one and tapping the screen to pull up the holoprojection of it full size. Several patrons glanced over when they heard her speak in her course language, but soon dismissed it and went about their own business.
-Naan in Tusken- "I like this one!"
The display Naan was so excited about was fancy mat designed for pets, being essentially a large circular pillow mat. While she could understand spoken Basic, she did not have as good a grasp on written Basic. The only part of the display she could understand described how comfortable it was.
-Naan in Tusken- "I've never seen a sleeping mat like this one before! It looks so soft!"
Naan continued hopping and looked up Mary, the young Tusken girl's gaderffii bouncing up and down on her back with her sling.

Mary added the large dog bed to her quickly growing 'shopping cart'. Mary wasn't sure why the girl wanted a pet bed, but it didn't really make any difference. As Naan hadn't picked out any real furniture for herself, Mary added another full set of extremely solid furniture panelled in a dark wood for the girl's room. It was relatively simple, but with would at least match the pet bed. Finishing out her own picks, Mary paid for everything & gave the landing pad it was to be delivered to. The droids would be able to collect the crates & store them, even without the HV. She would send the HV back to help out, but she needed it for the weapons she was planing on buying shortly.
Finishing up in the furniture store, Mary collected Naan & headed to the next stop on their massive shopping trip. The weapon's dealer.

Naan stopped hopping and turned her attention to another display panel while Mary continued shopping. Scanning through the contents of the entire store, Naan didn't see anything of real use to the ship. Of course this was because the ship she came in on only had the pre-installed chairs for the cockpit and mats that the R'Crurak had brought on, so her sense of basic living comforts was not at all on par.
Naan looked around to make sure no one was watching before taking out her knife and was just about to wedge it into the side of the panel to open it up to see the insides when Mary grabbed her and they made their way to a weapon's store. Naan tilted her head back and almost fell backward into Mary from how high up everything went.
-Naan in Tusken- "If my clan had weapons like these we could take over the Galaxy..."
It was just a thought spoken aloud, Naan was well aware the clan wasn't (openly) violent towards others who had not attacked them first. It did not change the fact that she was amazed at how every wall inside the place had displays of weapons from small blades to heavy blaster rifles.
-Naan in Tusken- "I want to stay here forever."
Naan immediately went about going through a similar holodisplay screen which would show the specs of the weapon as well as a list of weapon mods and kits available.
-Naan in Tusken- "No wonder Outsiders are so good at killing each other! You can get weapons really easily!"

Mary herself was rather surprised. She had never been in a weapons shop before. Now she needed to figure out what to stock the yacht's armoury will on short notice. Luckily the holonet once again came to the rescue as Mary found a highly rated list of equipment designed to help a small group of mercs get started. Using the search function, Mary was quick to assemble her shopping list.
A Pair of Z50s started out the list with a bang, followed quickly by a pair of support rifles known as DH-Xs. then came a quartet of carbines listed as OK-98s. Six SE-14r decommissioned from the Old Empire would do for side arms. An E-11s rounded out the ranged list as the sniper. Melee quickly followed with 6 vibroknives, a pair of BD-1 axes, & a pair of X-12 swords. Last, Mary added an easy dozen of each of the more common types of grenades: Adhesives, Concussions, CryoBans, Flash-Bangs, Frags, & Ions.
The shopkeeper gave her an odd look as she paid for the order & waited for it to be crated up. She didn't bother looking over the various mod kits available. She was planning on spending her alone time back on the yacht looking up good stuff to try on the holonet & then mod them herself. Thinking as a last option, she decided to get Naan something as well.
-Mary Pick out something nice for your self. Don't get something too big for you to use though.

While Mary had been going through ordering things Naan had been once again looking at another display screen, pulling up weapons on the holoprojector and studying them. She had gone through nearly a dozen before Mary told her she could picked something out for herself, just to keep it acclimated to her size. Naan pulled up the projection of a rocket launcher and held her arms up to the hologram, trying to measure it, and then bending over to try and measure herself. She looked expectantly at Mary, and kinda slumped when the woman shook her head. Naan perked right up and flipped through the lists until she came across a small carbine, a QuickSnap 36T. It had been low on her list, but everything above it had been explosives and rocket propelled launchers of some sort.
-Naan in Tusken- "I've always wanted a blaster, but there aren't many in the Enclave, so only the best warriors get them. Everyone will think I had to slay a Krayt Dragon if I come back with this!"
Naan added the carbine to the cart list, and ran over to Mary and embraced her in a hug.
-Naan in Tusken- "Thank you so much Mary! This is so much fun!"
Whatever the response was to the awkward hug, which it would probably be very awkward, the pair then moved onto the next store on their list.

Mary didn't know what to do about the girl attempting to hug her. Luckily the attempt was from the front otherwise Mary might have reacted automatically with violence. As is, she managed to catch herself before it was obvious she was reacting. In the end Mary just remained perfectly still while the younger girl hugged her, only unlocking herself enough to give the girl an awkward pat on the head near the end of the hug.
Ordering the HV to pick up the crate of weapons. Mary led the way to her next stop. The Medical Supply shop was an holonet order only place, with the shop itself just serving as the pick-up spot. Luckily, Mary had already discover this when planing their route & had ordered the necessary supplies. She had even decided to buy a heavily discounted medic droid to help run the Medical Bay. Having the HV pick up the crate of medical supplies & weapons at the same time was taxing it, but it could manage. A brief command sent the droid back to the yacht with its load.
The last stop of the day was a used vehicle lot for something smaller than the Pod for short ranged trips. The lot had a massive selection, Though most of them were either too small in the passenger area or too large to fit in the Vehicle Bay of the Tempest. The easiest choice was a quartet of JR-4 swoops. They weren't too modern, but Mary was already thinking about installing speeder racks on the walls of the Vehicle Bay for them. A MSP80 Pteropter hover pod would serve well for something to explore tight areas with. Unfortunately everything else was too big to fit in the remaining spot in the Vehicle Bay. Eventually, Mary decided on a ComfortRide passenger airspeeder. It was a little too long, but Mary was nearly certain she could cut it down to fit. Until then it would be put in the cargo bay with the swoop bikes.
Fortunately, the lot would ship them to the yacht, for a small fee. However it would take a few minutes. Leaving Mary & Naan a bit of time to poke over her picks before they left.

Naan stuck close by Mary, grabbing onto the sleeve of her robe to make sure she didn't get too far behind the older woman. After Mary had picked out the ones she wanted the two walked around looking at others to make sure that the ones Mary picked had been good enough. Naan spotted one that caught her eye, pointing at a KV Swoop bike as she tugged on Mary's sleeve.
-Naan in Tusken- "That's exactly like the ones back home! They go really fast! We use them for fast attacks and scouting missions in the Dune Sea and the Wastes all the time! Grandfather won't let me ride one though, they're very dangerous."
Naan felt a little homesick, but the adventure she was having with Mary were well worth leaving her home for. She only hoped that one day she would return with the knowledge to help her clan. Also it would not hurt to have some fun.
-Naan in Tusken- "Why do we need so many speeders, Mary? If its just going to be three of us, once we meet your new Master, right?"

-Mary It never hurts to have an extra if you can. In case one of the others is damaged or lost.
Watching the pilot droids flying the craft she picked out back to the yacht, Mary & Naan headed back that way as well. She didn't trust her own piloting skills enough to test drive any of them in the town, but she would get a chance soon enough.
On the way back, Mary realized she had time for one more stop before sunset & most of the shops closed for the day. The shop in question was actually more of a junkyard with a heavy dash of salvaged gear & a hint of newer supplies to round it out. Apparently it bought & sold old part & equipment, mostly from salvager & locals & to various tinkerers & mechanics. A quick stop in & chat with the owner saw to it that the Tempest would shortly be receiving a massive shipment of crates loaded with all kinds of scrap & other gear nearly perfect for serving as raw materials for the workshop & any modifications she might have in plan. Of course most of it would be melted down into ingots to save on cargo space. Since she was planning on putting the oversized airspeeder in the main Cargo Bay, most of those supplies would be stored in the Secondary Cargo Hold until she could get them sorted. Until then the plan was to spend the night parked in town & then head to the Prison in the morning to meet up with her new trainer.

On reaching the yacht, Mary found most of her purchases of the day piled up in crates around the Tempest. It would seem the other droids hadn't been up to the task of storing them after all. HV was making some progress but it would be a while before it was done.
Mary decided to speed things up by directing the droids. While the HV lifted the materials for the workshop into the Secondary Cargo Bay, a task requiring repulsors, Mary had the other droids shift the furniture over below the Vehicle Bay. Once the HV was finished with its first task, it would be easy enough to open up the Vehicle Bay & have the furniture lifted more or less straight into the main area of the Pod. Most of the furniture would end up somewhere in the Pod anyway so it would save time. Not having the proper racks for them in the Vehicle Bay yet anyway, Mary ordered the GD16 & the OOM to park the ComfortRide & the Swoops into the Main Cargo Bay. While that was going on, she diverted one of the droids just long enough to load the weapons & medicine onto a replusor cart borrowed from the spaceport.
Mary didn't expect Naan to stay up & watch, but she was old enough it was still possible. Before getting distracted putting away the smaller equipment, Mary made sure to check the yacht's supplies. Sure enough they were fully loaded up with food & water. First up was the Medical supplies, as some of it would go bad if not stored properly. For the most part the supplies were just normal cheap stuff like bandages, stitches, weaker drugs & common medical tools. On the list of more expensive purchases was enough bacta to fill the reservoir of the Medical Bay's bacta tank. Though the tank itself was smaller than most models, barely more than a watertight coffin. It would be enough to cover maybe forty hours before it would need to be restocked. Next came the stripped down Med Unit. It was rather difficult to get into place, but was still worth it. Taking the time to bolt it into place & hook it up to the yacht's power systems, Mary turned the system on. A few moments later Mary was watching as the automated surgery bed worked through it's diagnostic programs. Taking a few moments while it was working, Mary turned on the A-Series medical droids she had picked up & breezed through the set-up programs. She wasn't too worried about it as the droid was active for less than a full minute before Mary shut it back down. Five minutes later & the droid was properly slaved into the yacht's computer core like all the rest of the droids on the ship. A final glance at the Med Unit showed that it had finished its tests & put itself into standby mode.
Next was the crate of weapons, which were going into the armoury until she had a chance to start making modification. The nice thing about the Armoury was the abundance of blast proof weapon lockers. Even if one of the weapons managed to explode itself, despite having both power cell & blaster gas units removed & stored in a separate compartments, it wouldn't damage any of the other weapons. The first to be put away was the E-11s sniper rifle. While none of them should already have their power cells or gas units installed already, Mary was careful to check everything against a handy holonet guide she had pulled up. The pair of DH-X heavy blaster rifles quickly followed. The six older style Imperial SE-14r light repeating blasters didn't take long to check & store thanks to their simple design. The four OK-98 blaster carbines took a bit more time as their were much more complex, not to mention way heavier. The last of the 'gun' type weapons was a pair of Z50 grenade launchers which looked positivity brutal, much to Mary's delight.
The 'hitty' weapons went much quicker. Six vibroknives, a pair of heavier X-12 energy blades & a pair of BD-1 Cutter vibro-axes quickly found themselves in lockers as well. The grenades, while numerous, where already stored in 'quartet' boxes designed to contain any accidental explosions. These boxes were divided up by grenade type & also stored in lockers. No point in taking unnecessary risks after all.
Each of the lockers was closed & checked carefully to make sure it was lock. To finish up for the night, Mary checked the several power cell & gas unit lockers as well to make each was locked as well. Calling it a night while the droids finished their assigned tasks, Mary headed off to another night spent sleeping on the deck of her room.

Naan continued to follow Mary around the ship as everything was being loaded into the Tempest by the droids. She even attempted to help, but most of the crates were too big for her to lift, no matter how hard she tried. So she settled on helping Mary go through the crates of weapons, handing the woman each gun for inspection and stocking into the lockers, including the QuickSnap 36T she had picked out for herself. She held the weapon for a moment trying to get a feel for it before handing it to Mary as well.
After the last of the weapons was loaded and the power cells were stowed, Naan followed Mary to the door of her quarters, where she stopped.
-Naan in Tusken- "Mary...thank you for today. You're really nice. I'm glad I tried to stow away on your ship..."
With that Naan ran off before Mary could say anything, having a fit of shyness. She ran to her own room, opening the door and finding her flat sleeping mat that she had packed. The one she had picked out today being still in a crate with the rest of the furniture, but she did not mind. Tuskens did not need fancy mats to fall asleep, comfort was a luxury, and soon Naan was passed out in the middle of the floor among the mess of her belongings that were still scattered around the room. In one arm she held her bantha doll, and the other her datapad was going through pictures of meadows filled with flowers and small birds and insects.

Mary wasn't sure how to react to the younger girl, but was spared having to figure it out by Naan running away. Shrugging, Mary headed off to sleep.
The next morning, the first thing Mary did was check the crates now sitting the middle of the living area to make sure all the furniture was present. If there was anything missing she could place a finger on it & she had the bill of sales laying around somewhere just in case. After that she headed up to the Maintenance Deck. She rather liked it up there as it reminded her of the safer locations she had hidden out in during her stay in the underworld of Coruscant. The ceiling was low enough that she could bump her head by standing on tiptoes & the regular hatches along the corridor required her to both step up to clear the bottom frame & duck to keep from hitting her head. Most of the panels on the walls where also missing, leaving the various tubes & conduits open to air. Making her way into the Secondary Cargo Hold, she quickly checked to make sure all the raw supplies for the workshop were properly stowed. It was almost like being back at work on Coruscant.
Deciding to forgo the trip back, Mary decided to exit into the Main Cargo Bay. Using her Mask's HUD, she called the HV up to act as a makeshift lift down to the deck of the Main Cargo Bay. This also gave her a great chance to make sure the vehicles she had bought were stowed. Only the Pteropter was missing, however, she know that one was the only one that would fit in the Vehicle Bay currently. Of course if the Tempest didn't sit nearly four metres off the ground, it would have been much more difficult to get things in & out of the Vehicle Bay. She did however make a visual check by glancing up while heading through the Vehicle Bay on her way toward the Bridge.
Seeing that everything was as ready as it was going to get here, Mary took up what she had decided was going to be her usual spot on the bridge, directly to the left of the command chair. It was close enough to work the controls for the holo screens in the chair's arms, while also being well placed to look over the shoulders of the two pilot chairs at the front of the bridge. By the yacht's clocks sunrise wouldn't be for another couple of hours in the city, but Mary never slept long or deeply. It didn't take long for the two pilot droids to make their way to the bridge once she was there. It would seem the yacht was already learning to react to her instead of waiting for orders. It might just have been the number of droids slaved to its systems, but Mary was going to have to keep an eye on it. Taking a moment to pull the coordinates of the prison up on the command chair displays, Mary waited a second to see if the droids would take the initiative. When they failed to react, she just shrugged.
-Mary Take us up.
The engines took a few minutes to power up fully, but shortly after that the yacht had lifted into the sky & left the Kway Teow behind.

It took a long time for Sugerii to actually open her ship and head down the landing ramp. Hot humid air splashed the brick red Zabrak's face almost at once- causing her to stagger a bit. The stench of moister was everywhere. What kind of kriffing planet was this anyway? Why would Jedi be here? Then tended to find the most lothsum worlds and set up camp, at least, in Sugerii's opinion. But her opinion wasn't important- her mission was.
The mission always came first.
Though, as if to further insult her abilities, her employer had thrust upon her some sort of escort, as if she needed one. The tall, and rather built Zabrak woman scoffed to herself as she strewed through the large hanger. Holding the dark brown, leather case tightly at her side and resting her other hand against the E-11 at her opposite hip, Sugerii silently hoped she'd not be the one protecting the escort. Felucia was a friendly planet anyway. Other than wildlife and cantankerous natives, what did she have to worry about?
Squinting at the bright sunlight as she exited the hangar doors- the Zabrak scanned the bustling crowd to find that one, probably grossly inexperienced person who would be her escort.

Target acquired.
A pair of emerald cat-like eyes peered from lazily hooded lids and long, black lashes, watching Sugerii as she stepped uncertainly from the hangar. Two hands clad in fingerless gloves clapped and wiped away imaginary grease from the fingers. Two booted feet clomped down on the tarmac as a middle-aged woman plopped down from her perch atop a stack of crates.
At first glance, Mara Fel could have been any other human mechanic from the spaceport. She wore a worn leather jacket that had seen better days, a stained tunic, and heavy-duty cargo pants against which hung a blaster pistol--the sleekest item of the woman's outfit. Tossing back her blood-red hair and slinging a frayed satchel over her back, she sauntered after the Zabrak, blending into the crowd, always keeping back from her target's line of sight.
Each stalking step brought her ever closer to Sugerii; at last Mara closed the distance. The Zabrak had several pockets lining her cargo pants. Mara quickly thrust something into one of them and gave it a sharp tug as she passed her target and wove her way back into the crowd.
Planted in Sugerii's pocket was a note as well as a small sum of credits. The note read:
Have lunch at the cantina, my treat. I'll find you.
Sincerely,
Your friendly (and watchful) escort.

Catching the eyes of some young Twi'lek kid watching her, Sugerii knit her eyebrows together, giving the kid a perfectly vengeful glare. Predictably the boy ran off- probably to wine to his mother about creepy people in the streets. Everyone here seemed so normal, harmless, but the Zabrak knew she had to be on her guard no matter how innocent the situation. A slip up like that had cost her- well, her life once, at least, a life she was use to. With a sigh, she began to take another step- then a sharp tug on her pants leg brought about a jolt and the flash of a blaster to the Zabrak's hand. She kept the weapon close to her body, her sharp blue eyes pierced all around her. She thought she'd seen some odd motion off to the right, but she couldn't be sure. The blaster traced a line before she thrust it back into his holster and quickly gathered the contents of her invaded pocket.
Her clawed left fingers unfurled the small note and she scanned it crossly. What an irritating introduction. The fact that this 'escort' had to prove herself as some kind of sneak, only added to the Zabrak's dislike of them- even though she'd never met them. Huffing, Sugerii slipped the note away and headed toward the cantina. She needed a drink anyway. Perhaps some hard liqueur would dampen the disdain she held for this place.
Walking with purpose into the place- it wasn't that difficult to find; she just had to follow the Twi'leks- Sugerii scanned the patrons critically before finding a secluded booth in the back. Placing the case securely in her lap, she took a sat and drummed her gloved right fingers on the table in impatience. Perhaps if she didn't have this hold up- she'd be on a transport headed for the Jedi base by now.
