The Sith Empire utilized a class of assault shuttle during the Great Galactic War, Cold War, and Galactic War against the Galactic Republic. There existed a larger variation of these shuttles, but the Imperial assault shuttles were used far more frequently than their larger counterparts in the Sith Empire's many wars with the Republic. The assault shuttle utilized two wings in a bent-wing configuration when moving. These wings could be folded up when the shuttle landed, allowing the shuttle to take up less space on hangar floors. A landing ramp was used to board and reboard the vessel, leading up to the main entry hatch. Armed with 4 twin laser cannons, on on either wingtip and one on either side of the shuttle body, as well as 2 missile launchers on either side of the cockpit, the shuttle was fairly well armed given its size and purpose. It was crewed by 3, though minimally it only required 2 to crew it and it was capable of carrying 30 passengers.
