Buzzards were starfighters used by the Brotherhood of Darkness in the last stages of the New Sith Wars. They had long cylindrical bodies with two pairs of stubby wings near the rear. They were equipped with hyperdrives. Pilots often painted the noses of their fighters, making them look like predatory animals as an intimidation and demoralizing tactic. Armed with a pair of projectile weapons mounted under the rear wings, on either side of the main body, they were agile and very capable of inflicting damage, going so far as to being able to cripple two Hammerhead-Class Capital Ships by knocking out their deflector shields during the First Battle of Ruusan near the end of the New Sith Wars.
