The Mk. VII advanced interceptor was a model of single-being starfighter that was in use by the reconstituted Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War and the Cold War. They were manufactured on Dromund Kaas. Sith apprentice Eldon Ax flew one during the Independent Operation Sebaddon. Modeled off of the Mark VI Supremacy-Class Starfighter, the Mk. VII eliminated some of the disadvantages of the previous craft. Adding shielding, two extra engines, missile launchers and a second set of laser cannons mounted under the cockpit in conjunction with the wingtip laser cannons just like the previous iteration, the Mk. VII was more of a starfighter, able to use a broader range of tactics than the simple swarm tactic that the Mark VI pilots utilized. Keeping with the powerful engines and the rapid-fire lasers of the previous generation, the Mk. VII was the pinnacle of starfighter prowess within the Sith Empire.
