The 1550-LEX space yacht was a luxury spacecraft produced by the SoroSuub Corporation during the Galactic Civil War. A predecessor to SoroSuub's Luxury 2800 and 3000 craft, the 1550-LEX had similar dimensions and capacity. Thirty-point-four meters from bow to stern, the 1550-LEX required a pilot and co-pilot and could transport six passengers with 25 metric tons of cargo. The ship was equipped with deflector shields and a hyperdrive. While the stock yacht was without weapon systems, many 1550-LEXs were upgraded to include defensive measures. The lower deck of the yacht held the sublight engine bay and cargo storage. The upper deck contained passenger cabins, luxury galley and dining facility, whirlpool and cockpit.
