MC80 Liberty-type Star Cruiser

Like most Mon Calamari designs, each vessel was individually unique, which was frustrating for Rebel technicians. As with other Calamari designs during the Galactic Civil War, all warships in this group were standardized as much as possible to aid non-Calamari crewmembers, something the artistic Mon Calamari accepted begrudgingly.
A common variant of the MC80 Star Cruiser line was exemplified by the cruiser Liberty. It had an array of nine engines, divided into three different sizes, located at the stern. A large wing-shaped superstructure was affixed to the main hull on either side, containing weapons pods and tractor beam arrays. Some MC80 cruisers had their wing sections shortened and were equipped with an additional thruster.
To assist in combat it carried 48 heavy dual turbolaser batteries(12 fore, 12 aft, 12 port, 12 starboard,) 20 heavy dual ion cannons batteries(5 fore, 5 aft, 5 port, 5 starboard,) 15 laser cannon batteries, 20 bomb launchers(10 cluster bombs each,) 25 torpedo launchers(6 torpedoes each,) and 6 heavy tractor beam projectors. Alongside its armament, it carried a complement of 36 starfighters, 5 shuttles, 2 light freighters, and a light mixture of ground vehicles as well as carrying up to 1,200 troops.
