Description:
As the other orders throughout the galaxy possessed their own interceptors and speedy fighters, the Dark Jedi sought to create one of their own. The answer was the Aegilis. Capable and fast, it stands up to some of the best known interceptors. Its small, sharp, and angular frame works to further increase its atmospheric speeds while looking aggressive in any other situation. The outer wings are built in a vertical pattern to offer greater stability when operating at higher speeds and executing advanced maneuvers.
While its offense capabilities aren't particularly strong, nor its defenses overly robust, this is countered by its incredible speed. Where it really shines, however, is its maneuverability. With the addition of advanced maneuvering thrusters, it becomes nearly impossible to lock onto and keep behind. In the hands of a skilled pilot or a Force-sensitive, it dances across the void of space like lightning in the night. Armed with two rapid-fire light laser cannons under each wing and a pair of ion cannons under the prongs of the nose, the Aegilis works to whittle away the defenses of enemies in an unrelenting barrage. It also came equipped with a hyperdrive.
