A standalone design, created by The Organization's Military Division, the Attican was designed to be a support/attack ship. Capable of both assault roles as well as support roles, the Attican carried 36 starfighters and a modest ground complement of 1,500 troops. Armed with 12 dual heavy turbolaser cannons, 14 dual point defense laser turrets, 4 concussion missile/proton torpedo launchers (12 missiles each) and 4 tractor beam projectors, the Attican was a sturdy vessel capable of holding its own in an engagement. Sporting the angular dimensions that The Organization seems to favour, the shape of the vessel is meant to both be intimidating and throw off sensors.
