Designed and built by The Organization, the Cerberus-Class Battleship was a combination Star Destroyer/Fleet Carrier. Due to being so heavily armed, the ship lost nearly all its agility and speed. Armed with 30 quad heavy turbolaser batteries, 20 twin medium turbolaser batteries, 5 twin long range ion cannon batteries, 15 ion cannon batteries and 5 heavy tractor beam projectors, the Cerberus was no slouch in ship to ship combat. Carrying 72 starfighters and a 7,000 troop ground complement, the Cerberus was the pride and joy of The Organization's navy. Still in planning stages, the Cerberus was going to be the heavy hitter of the front lines. Abandoning the sharp angular shapes of previous ships, the Cerberus class was still kept a unique shape to the The Organization's preferred designs.
