The excitement in Avogo's eyes burnt just as brightly as Korriban's Star while she mentally prepared herself for a thrilling battle. Even if the fight was against a mindless beast, Avogo knew to never underestimate an enemy. The Master, while in the prime of his life, taught the young Sith Apprentice to always be cautious of an enemy's ability and seek out ways to turn that ability against them. Avogo felt her own heartbeat pulsing up from her arm from the tight grip she had on the base of her lightsaber. With the sun beating down upon her hooded head, Avogo shifted her eyes toward the male when a question popped in her mind.
"I'm ready when you are. Oh. I didn't happen to catch the name...."

The male was always ready for a good fight. He grinned and nodded, looking around. "So where should be to look for one or these animals? Perhaps inside one of the tombs?" He asked, bypassing her question entirely. He glanced further down the valley, idly wondering what was down that way. "Or should be try to get past the terentarek and continue in that direction?"
He asked her quietly, almost conspiratorially and grinned as he did so. He was ready and anxious to get in to action, his flesh shivering as dusty orange hair rippled from it before retreating back as he pushed down the urge or transformation. He finally decided to answer her question. Well, partially answer it. "Names have strong meaning...with it you gain a lot of information about a person. After we conclude this fight, if we both survive then I will tell you my name. Until then, call me Tiberius."

Ram had stopped and closed his eyes to reach out into the Force and listen to what was around. His datapad had blipped and triggered, indicating that the ship which he had been tracking from orbit had landed and so he opened his eyes to scan quickly around and see where it might have landed. The vector which it had been recorded to of been following alluded to it coming to the Valley, and thus Ram's eyes darted and danced a out in curious search. There were three ships which had come down near there, one which had two individuals move out and another shortly after which only brought forth one man and a type of serpent which seemed to have been trained to follow him, that or was some sort of manifestation of his being or will, judging by the close proximity which it always kept the the man. After a few moments the two had moved off to a crack in the Valley wall, out to the desert, while the man had approached a young woman who had been meditating at a nearby pillar. Smirking somewhat as he watched the exchange, Ram's blue and yellow eyes studied the pair in their exchange, feeling her presence spike and then fluctuate at interesting intervals, while he had one, but was much less perceptible and predictable.

Avogo glanced at Tiberius for a few moments, after he told her his 'name', before diverting her attention back to the beast and her focus back upon the challenge at hand. This would be an interesting fight without The Master watching her performance and judging her every move. And now, with The Master's life force within the realm of Chaos, Avogo was free to use the skills she was taught to pave her own way in her future. When Tiberius mentioned going into one of the tombs of the Dark Lords, Avogo's eyes narrowed and an annoyed look briefly appeared upon her face. The specs of the Dark Side energy within the black wells of her eyes seemed to stared directly at the male's soul as she fixed her eyes upon the tomb of Naga Sadow. After a moment of silence, the Dark Haired Sith finally turned half-way to the male and spoke with a voice littered with distrust. "We can search in the other tombs here, but not the tomb of Naga Sadow."

The male chuckled as she stars at him inscrutably for a few moments as if he was about to sprout wings and fly off. He shook his head slowly with a wry smile and raised his eyebrow at her. However when she spoke he looked over her shoulder at the tomb of some Sith Lord he didn't know, nor did he really care about. It was one of the things he didn't understand about the sith...why they clung to decadent traditions that where stagnant and decrepit like their eldest leaders. Many of those traditions and rituals where holding the sith back, or at least that was his opinion. Not that it counted for much.
"Alright, if you say so. You would probably know better then I where to look after all." He chuckled and as he did so he inhaled deeply. His nostrils flared, drawing air in to his lungs through his sinus cavity and filling it with scents. His own, which was typical and he knew all to well. The female's standing across from himself, which was familiar already to himself as he had been standing and speaking to her for longer then three minutes. The scent of the dirt, rocks and musky wildlife around this place. However there was another scented, a fresher scent with that undertone or masculine pheromones. A male had approached them, and he personally didn't like that he had gotten so close.
"We are no longer alone..." He said to female softly then spoke louder so the male who was watching then would come out." After that he simply needed to wait as see how the man rested.

Ram watched and listened to the exchange for a few more minutes before they went silent and the man then spoke out. Come out? He was not hiding, merely watching. Nevertheless Ram stepped forward, his mind always working and thinking and judging as he went. A plan formulated and he decided to go with it as a smirk crept over his lips and he strode over to the two. It was never his intention to hide, though how the man told him to come out, without looking in his direction was interesting, taking note of the signature and all other factors involved.
As he came within a dozen or so feet, he showed his hands by letting them show out to his sides, showing that he no weapon in hand. His person was quite the opposite, with nearly half a dozen kept in various locations, though they were not of an immediate threat and he would not surprise attack. No, his mind and his force aura were all that he needed and relied on at the moment. One's mind should be all a Sith needs to emerge victorious from nearly all situations and this was especially true in the case of a man who sat on the Emperor's Dark Council of Lords, a small council at that.
"Greeting. I am Lord Diux, and contrary to your original belief, I am not spying on you, nor to I mean for you to be harmed. However, I couldn't help but overhear your intent for your being here. Tell me, what would you give for the information on where a tuk'ata may be found?" He looked to the two a brief moment before taking a few steps in stride to his right, speaking all the while."As I happen to know where you may find one, I would be willing to impart this upon you, while I also have a counter proposal. A few 'outsiders' have landed on this world, this birthplace of Sith, with a ship bearing Republic registration codes. While their presences have been hidden since they've landed, I was able to catch a glimpse as they descended from orbit and knew that they were not dark side. They are Jedi and while I do not know their specific intent, they seemed to be tracking another vessel which was not of the republic. I can only surmise that this is their attempts to mask themselves as they hunt one of my own. He had been gazing at the Tomb of Naga Sadow as he spoke, though turned now and looked the man int he eye first as he finished his statement. "Would you be willing to help me find and "deal" with these guests of ours?"
As if finished, his eyes flicked over to look the woman in the eye now. The man was clearly not of here, but she had been meditating earlier, thus indicating a deeper belief and hold on Sith values. He looked to her in interest and wonder as to whether or not she would see the Jedi hunting on Korriban for the threat that it truly was.

*Rowan places his pack down behind some large rocks and then with some aid from the force, he springs himself up upon a large boulder. Now sitting atop the rock maybe 10-12 feet up in the air, Rowan focuses on the force. For once Aren and his apprentice arrive they will make heir final push up into the mountains from the valley and most likely the greatest battle of his waited for him. Rowan then turns and slips down the other side of the boulder, He lands in a crouch and stays in the shadows of the large rocks and waits for Aren.

* Thrakk feels a slight ping in the force, his hand moves like the head of striking serpent. The dark lord slings a single bolt of dark energy as if he was throwing a knife. Aiming slightly behind him, Thrakk hears the energy connect with its target, he can hear the circuits shorting out and then a thump as the object hits the ground. Turning around, Thrakk makes his way over to sparking object, he stands above the spherical object and after a few moments recognizes the origin of the device.
" Jedi"
* Thrakk looks over at his Apprentice and then down the mountain pass which leads to the Valley of the Dark Lords. He unclips his lightsaber from his belt and holds the weapon calmly in his right hand, thumb barely touching the activation switch. Thrakk begins to gather the abundant dark energy around him as he focuses on the darkside of the force, and eerie calm lingers about him. For even though he had not wanted to have an open confrontation with the Jedi for some time, and his plans where still not yet fully complete, a test of his power would be good for him. For even his apprentice had never seen nor comprehended the full might of the darkside that Thrakk wielded.... So in turn this battle would put his apprentice in line and also shake the foundations of the Jedi, for they would once again feel the might of revenge.
Thrakk stands at the center of a small clearing in the mountain pass. The area is big enough for a open combat maybe an acre or 2 in size, with only one way in and one way out. Thrakk waits for those that look for him to find him,*
* Prepare yourself my Apprentice, hold nothing back and show no mercy"

Caguuror looked at the male, narrowing his eyes and growling softly. His sharpened upper and lower canine/fangs glinted in the light. "Why should I help you find and kill somebody who has no danger to myself for something I can find upon my own. Yes it is a dangerous task, but one I can easily accomplish with out your information." He crossed his arms and gripped his upper biceps, fingers drumming upon the muscles as he looked upon the other male.
"I don't mean to sound nasty, sir. However I don't see a point as to helping you in this endeavor. At least not with something more tempting then simple information upon where I can find a tuk'ata. I know there is one here somewhere, it would just be time consuming and I would have to spend that time hunting when I could spend it on much more important matters. So...why should I really help you? Also why do you need my help...that's also a very important question. Based upon your answers...I may or may not help you." With that tirade over he fell silent, arms crossed fingers gripping his biceps and stating at the male with alien eyes that had no whites or pupils and where solid orange.

* Aren with his padawan at his side make it through the valley and to the designated meeting point given to him by Rowan. Aren wipes the sweat off his brow for the noon day sun now beat down them as if he was standing right before. "Typical the Sith would enjoy a planet as hellish as this" He thinks to himself. Aren looks about and sees no one around, motioning for Kirito to follow, he leaps up onto the boulder and then slides down the backside, his padawan close behind him*
" Well hello there "
* Aren shrugs off his pack and dusts himself off. He removes his lightsaber from the datapad he used to hid the weapon and clips it his belt. Pulling off the worn out travelers pancho he had on, Aren stretches his arms slightly then looks over to Rowan.
" Recon 3 was just destroyed, it seems they are onto us...if we are to make a move we need to make it now, before the rest of the sith on this godforsaken planet are coming at us likely agree hornets nest"

Avogo ignored the male's chuckle, closed her eyes, and began to focus herself deeper into the Dark Side of the Force. For eight years, Avogo had learned to call upon the Dark Side, but every time she did so, it was an exhilarating and liberating sensation. Her mind began to branch out to the surrounding area as she fell deeper into the well of Chaos. The dark energies crackled along the surface of her skin and she could feel the fire within her body growing larger and larger by the moment. When Tiberius mentioned that someone was approaching, The Dark Haired Sith reached up to her head with her free hand, pulled off the black hood, then opened her eyes and looked in the on-comer's direction.
Avogo eyed the newcomer carefully as he showed his bare hands to signify that he was not armed and meant not harm. Even after this robed man showed that he hand no hostile intention in mind, the Dark Haired Sith tightened her grip around the hilt of her lightsaber and turned to give him her full attention when he spoke. The hot wind of Korriban whipped around Avogo's black hair while she kept her yellow-hazel eyes on the man. The stranger introduced himself as Lord Diux, a fellow follower of the Dark Side.
However, this face did not allowed Avogo to drop her guard. She listened to Diux's proposal, but at the very mention of the Jedi being here on her home-world put a raging fire within her eyes. The very thought of the self-righteous Jedi being here on the sacred Birthplace of the Sith Order allowed an explosion of anger to flash throughout the entire scope of Avogo's mind. For a moment, the Sith turned her attention of the tomb of Nago Sadow and thought about what her Master would do in a situation like this. Surely, The Master would take this opportunity to use the Dark Side of the Force to overpower and utterly destroy the Jedi. To honor his memory and to enforce the ideals of the Sith, the Jedi on this planet must not be allowed to continue their misguided existence.
"Point me in the direction of the Jedi," Venom filled hatred spewed passed Avogo's lips as she spoke the tainted word "And they shall die. The nature of the Dark Side Commands it."
There was no evil smile or grin on the face of the Dark Haired Sith. While she was prepared to finally put The Master's training to use, the Dark Side has possessed her, filling her only with anger, focus, and malcontent. After hearing Tiberius' questioning response to Lord Diux's proposal, the Dark energy seemed to ignite around the young Sith's body. Her neck snapped in Tiber's direction and with misplaced hatred burning in her eyes, she pulled her saber out of her robes and activated it. The loud Hiss-Snap of the Lightsaber resounded throughout the Valley of the Dark Lords. Her burning red eyes glanced deeply at Tiberius as she called out in a voice deeper and darker than it normally was. "Then what are you if you will not destroy the Jedi? A Jedi yourself?!"

Ca'guuror was facing the male when the female exploded. He might be untrained in the force, but even he could feel the dark side enveloping the female and he turned back to her slowly. His own rage was building now, the animal inside himself roaring to be freed. Freed upon the female who threatened him like some insignificant cub. Freed to sink its fangs in to her flesh and rip and tear, before finally feasting upon the entrails of the aggressor. His entire body trembled as the animal came forth, threatening to over power his mind.
His body was trembling, flesh shivering like a horse would to dislodge annoying flies. Inch long fur grew from his pores across his exposed arms, neck, and ears. His ears sprouted out and upwards, becoming pointed with tufts of fur upon the pointed tips. A deep, rumbling snarl built with in his chest, erupting past lips pulled back exposing teeth elongating in to wicked sharp fangs designed to rip flesh from bones. His face was elongating in to a muzzle and his nose flattening. His hands flexed inside their shuk'orok, wanting to he free to unsheathe three inch long claws that would shred through durasteel like so much paper.
As the male was changing, his only known force power did a well. An alpha predator, his mind was animalistic and reached out touching the minds of creatures small and near before finally latching upon the biggest, most violent minded creature nearby; the terentatek he had seen earlier. His mind attacked the mind of the terentatek, luring it with temptations of force sensitive blood which was the beasts favored form of nourishment. The monster roared, and came forth from down the Valley. The deadly beast bellowed, approaching the group wanting it's promised meal and ready to attack somebody to achieve its single minded purpose.
Tridra, riding upon the shoulders of his master began hissing violently, the two flaps of skin upon either side of each of his heads extending sensing his master's anger and sudden change. His head swayed, three fanged maws opening and closing in a threatening display. His fangs where coated in a paralyzing poison that although wouldn't kill would leave a even a human paralyzed and opened to attack. However the three headed serpent didn't strike, having been trained to do so only if ordered to or Ca'guuror was unable to give the order. However the three heads remained alert, ready to strike in a rapid fire manner at the female.
Inside Ca'guuror's mind a voice was speaking to him. Not a hallucination, or a manifestation of the Force but a memory. A memory of his adoptive Mandalorian father, who had rescued him not only from the wild but also from himself. A single phrase that he had spoke, time and time again to the young male in an attempt to help train the boy to control his animalistic urges. Now this voice spoke softly in the back of the transforming male's mind.
~You are the animal. The animal is not you. ~
As quickly as it had come, Ca'guuror pushed the animal down, taking control of his body. The fur retreated back in to his flesh leaving just a fine, tan down like coating upon him. His face retreated backwards, shortening and becoming fully human again as his ears slipped downwards and resumed a more curved instead of pointed look. His hands slowly relaxed their grip upon themselves and the male took a deep breath. Reaching up, he stroked the back of the center head of Tridra, trying to calm his pet as well as he slowly smiled to the female. However the hulking armored form of the terentatek behind himself remained, huffing and rumbling, shifting its incredible weight from side to side. His lips parted, and he response to the female's question was soft and lower but carried no tone of threat. Instead it was full of vagueness, and mystery.
"I...am me."

* As Rowan turns to acknowledge his friend, he feels a sudden tremor through the force. A large surge of the darkside ripples throughout the area and hits Rowan like a wave. Searching his feelings, Rowan projects himself outward trying to feel the source of the sudden burst. After a few moments, he opens his eyes and looks over Aren.*
" I am sure you felt that...lets move, it seems there may be more pieces involved in this game then we had realized."
* Firmly holding his lightsaber in his right hand, Rowan checks around the boulder then leaps out of his hiding spot. Motioning for the others to follow, Rowan then turns and swiftly moves up the mountain pass*

* Aren nods to Rowan and motions for his padawan to follow, as he moves away from cover Aren takes out two handfulls of motion detonaters. Throwing against the walls of the mountain pass on either side of him, he triggers them to activate if any life forms cross their path. The explosions from the detonators would not demolish the area but collapse the walls of the mountain pass blocking it to the valley and trapping anyone caught in the explosion in a pile of rubble.
Once this defensive task was taken care of, Aren puts his full focus on the on the battle ahead...catching up to Rowan, he runs alongside his friend and speaks to his padawan through the force.*
" Kirito, when the fighting starts stay close to me and if i tell you run then do so "

They found the Scout and loaded up the CUF Katana Class Scout. Kyja put the meat he saved in the hold of the scout. And Sarthon then replaced the recorder in the Scout. When Sarthon was finally in, Kyja sat in the cockpit and Kavika in the co-pilot's chair. The Scout lifted up unseen with the cloak and entered low orbit.

Had it been much more further then he anticipated? Revlan recalled the sight of the old statues from Krayt to Ragnos in the fair distance standing outside the ruined ship , the dead Sith would soon be in the stomach of a hungry beast wandering out there in the Valley. So much for greatness. There was much potential to the title of Inquisitor. His lips had flaked and bled, his wounds of torture would only burn so much more in the heat upon him. His brow, random fingers twitched as he strained his weary state to the point that exceeds exhaustion and he stumbled but caught himself from falling. He looked up with his bloodshot blue eyes and glared at the ever so distant dreshdae reflecting in the daylight like a beacon but it was the exhaustion that would take him first as he fell to his knee's then hit the dirt becoming motionless.
The dry feeling of the the dirt made his hand cringe, his skin had splintered. Suddenly he heard the sounds of gravel being crushed under the weight of a near by being, somewhere near by someone had spotted Revlan. His ears rung with a high pitch frequency and his head ached by this sound and everything seemed a lot more brighter then it had originally seemed. The footsteps stopped and Revlan felt the boot of this stranger press up against his side. Oi, you alive?! He turned his head, making a weary glance up towards the man but the light blocked his face out.
The man noticed Revlan was weak, vulnerable. He could kill him here and take his belongings that had fallen off Revlan including his lightsaber which the man quickly snatched before Revlan had a chance to ignite it. I'll get a few good credits for this I will.. He said then laughed.
Revlan heard him laughed as he begun to scavenge about the area, he had been kneeling down with Revlans weapon clipped onto his belt. He would not die here like this and have some low life scum do this, so he reached out. His hate had turned into something much more, and so the power of the dark side had bent to his will when suddenly the hilt ignited the blade directly threw the mans body. Revlan felt the power surge threw his body, giving him enough energy to get himself back on his feet. He yanked the hilt from off his belt, even found fifty credits on the man. He caught his breath then continued towards some sort of civilization.

Korriban a planet that had long been the centre of the Sith for it had once been the home planet of the race that the Sith are named after. This was also the place where the Jedi exiles eventually came to during their exile and it was here that they began searching for greater knowledge of the darks of the force. Here the exiles made what it meant to be a Sith after long observation of the Sith species that occupied this planet it was from them what started to be the great Order of the Sith. In time long after the Jedi exiles many darksiders had been drawn to this planet calling themselves Sith and even began to make their tombs and academies upon the surface of Korriban.
Now long after those days Korriban is not much more than a desert wasteland and those ancient tombs of stone are but crumbling ruins scattered across the Valley of the Dark Lords. This valley that houses the tombs of ancient Sith Lords was not always known as such for it had once been called the Valley of Sleeping Kings back when the ancient Sith race still wandered Korriban and It was here that they buried their dead kings. The tombs that line the valley were once rich with relics left by those who buried their dead masters here but they have long since been picked clean by those who came in search of knowledge of the Sith and their secrets of the Darkside. Some who came in search of this knowledge have even said that they had been met by the ghosts of those who lay inside their tomb though not all were so fortunate to meet the ancient Sith Lords of the past and those who were to weak perished in their attempts to search the ancient tombs for their secrets or even a glimpse of the ghosts of the ancient Sith Lords.
Darth Specter closed his small black leather bound book with a quick snap as he looked up from his most recent entry of quick notes that he had just finished writing. He was sitting outside his ship atop a flat rock looking out into the distance of the Valley of the Dark Lords as he contemplated his words that were written inside the small book. He had came to the valley at first in search of greater knowledge on the Sith and the secrets of the darkside as had many before him and he was surely not the last who would come here for the very same reason. It was here he hoped that the ancient tombs of long dead Sith Lords may still hold some secrets left to be seen those he was sure they were quite likely to have been picked clean of any kind of scrolls or holocrons as those were most likely taken from their resting places by those who first came in search of their secrets. At most what he thought may be left of ancient writings would be those that could possibly be written upon the stone walls as some ancient races were known to do though if there were any these would likely be now crumbling away that is if there were any at all.
Despite these doubts that lingered deep inside Specter still found his journey worth making even for what little he was likely to find and so he got up from his cross-legged position and put his small book away back into a pouch on his belt. Even as he prepared to set off he was well aware that his journey into the ancient tombs would not be without great peril for who knew what creatures now lurked in the dark calling those ruins their home. There was one above all that he would have to keep a look out for more so than another beast he might encounter these were the Tuk'ata or some times known as Sith Hounds who were used to guard the tombs of the ancient Sith Lords. These ancient beasts who have long been used as the guards of the tombs in the valley were also likely to be wandering the valley itself which would as be problematic in getting to the tombs for these beasts were not mindless animals no the Tuk'ata hold great intellect and have even been rumoured to be capable of speaking the ancient Sith language.
Deep inside Specter did wish to meet with a Tuk'ata in order to try and see what secrets they may hold about the ancient Sith but sadly he knew little of the Sith language and so it was not likely he would be able to communicate with them. Still despite these obvious dangers Darth Specter began the long trek towards the tombs of the Sith with his black cloak billowing behind him in the wind as he walked alone and equipped with only those weapons he commonly carried with him. He knew should he fail in his quest he would only prove that he was not strong enough to follow the path of the Sith and so be unworthy to find any sort of secrets within the ancient tombs and this planet would become his grave. Though should he come out alive he would not only prove his strength and worth before the ancient dark lords but he may also come out further enlightened in the ways of the darkside of the force and that knowledge was worth any danger or risk that Korriban could throw at him.

The Valley of the Dark Lords was as desolate and as unforgiving as Rutil Iorek had expected it to be, even to those that had claimed it as their final resting place. Once a place sacred to those that worshiped the power of the dark side of the Force, it had fallen into ruin and disrepair over the centuries, occasionally being used as a training ground for those enraptured by promises of power and prestige among themselves and the galaxy as a whole. But while the grizzled Zabrak standing on the bridge of the CR90 corvette landing almost directly in the valley proper had not expected the Sith to be sentimental, he had expected some level of respect for those the Sith claimed to be the best their alleged order had ever produced. For all their talk of their ancient traditions and how mighty their forefathers were, seeing the final resting place of their most honored members left their claims sounding as empty as their souls.
So far as Rutil was concerned, it was yet another vindication of everything he believed about the dark side, and why its practitioners should be put as far down as he could send them.
The soldiers under his command were already making ready for their missions when the Jedi stepped off of the ship, and the saffron cloak he wore made him almost indistinguishable from the rusty-colored sand and stone that made up the infamous Valley of the Dark Lords. It was even less impressive in person. Taking long strides towards what must have been some grouping of statues, Rutil saw little more than tall stones sticking out of the ground with only spacing and a general grid pattern to tell an observer that there had been any significance to them. His jade eyes looked to the sides of the valley, where caustic winds had wiped away much of the engraving of tombs that had been carved directly into the rock, with only a door at the bottom of each tomb and an unnatural smoothness to the valley walls above them to betray their true nature. And at the end of the valley, relatively untouched by the ravages of time and the indifference of its hosts, the pyramid of the Sith Academy stood as the ultimate testament to the final fate of every Sith Lord. It was taller than the surrounding tombs, smoother than the valley stone, and it was clearly meant to be the centerpiece of the valley, but even it had not managed to avoid abandonment and disuse, falling into disrepair and saved from total ravishment solely by its comparatively recent use.
The Spearhead's floodlights illuminated the valley, and soldiers set up small light fixtures near the openings of each of the valley's tombs, ready to flood each entrance with blinding light and illuminate the way for whatever team was designated to make entry. And while the men hustled this way and that, their Jedi commander stood as still and as silent as the former statues in the courtyard, his eyes not once leaving the pyramid at the valley's end. His silence and stillness was broken only when the ship's captain, Marris, approached him.
"Excuse me, sir," Captain Marris began, "do you have a moment?"
"I have one moment, Captain," Rutil responded in his usual abrasive, gravelly-voiced manner, "don't waste it."
"Sir, some of the men are worried. More worried than I've ever seen them, in fact, and some of us went through basic training together. At first I thought it was merely nerves, that you might be sending us on a suicide mission, but their worries have only compounded since we reached orbit. And...I'll admit, my knowledge of the Force is limited despite our duty posting, but..." Marris paused, trying to find the words that would leave him sounding halfway competent, "...Master Jedi, is something on the planet at work here?"
Unbelievable.
Unbelievable.
The grizzled Zabrak slowly rounded on Captain Marris, barely-concealed contempt shooting forward from his jaded green eyes, boring into the captain's very being as he thought of the many ways he could chastise the man. He and his men were scared? Of a few rocks and some blowing wind? This was the elite fighting force of Felucia? Whatever enthusiasm Rutil had gathered for the mission vaporized as the person acting as his lieutenant showed his true colors. Nevertheless, it was a fair question. Ignorant - especially from a man that answered to Master Calmcacil - but fair. Perhaps answering it would quell his cowardice, and when it trickled down to the men, they would be able to not royally botch their mission.
"The planet is at work here, Captain," Rutil finally said, his voice as cold as the coming night, "the very planet. The Force can be warped. Twisted. And if done for long enough, and consistently enough, it can leave an imprint on a place that cannot be undone. But that's all it is. All you and your men feel right now is the shadow of the Sith perverting the Force for their own ends. Anything that could pose a threat here is long dead, or long since removed. Feel better?"
"I...uh, well..."
"It doesn't matter," the Jedi abruptly interrupted, "you're here to complete a mission, and we won't be leaving until it's done. Get on it, Captain."

The CR25 and the two LAAT/i escorts came in hard and fast, descending through the upper and lower atmospheres before leveling out fairly close to the planet's rugged surface. As they approached the Valley the two LAAT/i's split off in different directions, moving to their first drop point.
The CR25 rapidly decelerated as it approached the valley's borders, leaning back slightly as it dropped into the natural depression. With the landing gears lumbering out, the vessel straightened and hovered for a moment before setting down near the CR50. The bay door opened as twelve soldiers in rusty brown BDUs and carrier vests lined with energy packs, select grenades, and armed with A280s stepped out and formed an immediate circular perimeter around the vessel. Crew members lowered several gravcarts laden with thermobaric and conventional explosives. Escorting them away from the vessel, the crew members handed them off to the designated teams set up near the tomb entrances. They made their way back to the CR25, loading it back up to prepare for takeoff. The twelve soldiers split up into fire teams of four and set up by nearby statues in case of an ambush or a firefight.
Meanwhile, the two LAAT/i's circled the valley, dropping off two squads each at the northwest, northeast, southeast, and southwest points. Taking up defensive positions, the squads readied small E-web turrets and basic targeting equipment with electro-optic attachments. Sounding off that they were in position and waiting. 1st Lieutenant Rao'Lin made his way off the CR25 and made his way to one of the fireteams stationed near the center, scanning over the operation as he went. Comm chatter was routinely going back and forth between the teams to make sure one another hadn't been ambushed or was in a firefight. The LAAT/i's dropped down to the inner lip of the valley and continued to circle the site.

This was good, Rutil decided. This was simply too good.
With nary a word said, the mercenaries found their places and fell in, ready to assist with the bombs. Reaching into the black leather belt that wrapped his waist, Rutil drew his comlink and clicked it on, speaking only one word.
Execute.
Simultaneously, the entry teams - made up of five commandos per tomb, detonated small, powerful charges to clear away the debris and the door before breaching into the long-closed tombs of Tulak Hord, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, and Ajunta Pall. As the teams disappeared into the cavernous darkness, Rutil Iorek himself began to march into the Sith Academy, flanked by a commando squad of his own.
