Everything at once went a shade of brilliant, painful white. Sarah winced her eyes tightly shut for a few moments and before she knew it, the light faded. Upon opening her eyes, The Dark Haired Sith found herself back in the tomb on Korriban. Malvus was standing in front her, saber drawn and ready for the Sith undead to awaken. Had he even noticed that Sarah was not even here for the last hour? For that matter, had it even been an hour? Sarah felt as if she was on that beautiful world for at least an hour, but apparently time ran differently in the real world. The headache left her and once again, she could focus on the task ahead of her. But the voice of Shadow haunted her. What did it mean by soon? How was Sarah a key, a fruit ready for the harvest? After this current training session was over, she would spend some time in mediation and seek her answers within the Force itself. But for now, it was time to fight. The air had changed, not only from the dark aura inside the tomb, but from behind him. Malvus did not turn his head, but he could sense a disturbance within his pupil. Something that Malvus would have to look into later perhaps. No matter right now though. For now, the Sith pretended to not be aware of it, after all, the greater threat was awakening within the tomb before the pair. After sensing the disturbance vanish from within Sarah's person, Malvus took some steps into the tomb, keeping his eyes attentively to the surroundings of the corridor. Without speaking a word, he continued to make his way into the tomb. Darkness was approaching him from all sides, the smell of death was stale and old. Then came the smell of decaying flesh that lingered within the very air. Yes, the Sith King had left some of his minions behind after all as protectors of his tomb.

With the dull headache now fading into the background of Sarah's mind, she could once again focus herself and prepare for the fight ahead. Noticing that Malvus was slowly entering deeper into the tomb, the Dark Haired Sith followed suit. But the lingering thought was still present on her mind. What did Shadow want with her? This was the first time the being actually announced such a claim. A key? A key for what? Keys were for opening things, but surely this was metaphorical. And what was that planet? Truly, it was a beauty to behold. It reminded her of Courscant, minus the sprawling city which covered the entire planet. It was peaceful and calm. The breeze took Sarah back to happy days, before she feel to the Dark Side. But those happier days were far behind her. Even though she had not chosen to become a Sith, it was her life. She basked in the Dark Side of the Force and learnt to wield it as her weapon. For now, the thought of Shadow would have to be pushed from the forefront of her mind. But there's one thing Sarah knew for sure: Darker days were ahead.

Malvus would continue walking down into the dark corridors of the tomb. His force sensitivity at its height due to the rather unpredictable danger that lurked within the shadows of these walls. He paused every so often to listen and scan areas with the force. Something different feel right as they entered a large room; where were the guardians he felt earlier?
The large room they entered appeared to be a place where treasures were placed; texts, scrolls, swords, spears, shields and other primitive technology of the Old Sith Empire before the time of the Exiles were littered all over the place. Malvus lowers his lightsaber for a moment, looking around the room. Something still didn't feel right. The entire room was empty save for the ancient trinkets. No guards, no opposition, nothing...
Suddenly, he whipped around in the direction Sarah came from, his lightsaber back up in a defensive stance. Silence for a moment, just long enough for a noise to be heard. A shuffling noise that was heard following behind Sarah. In fact, there was at least four pairs of shuffling feet coming from behind her. Immediately Malvus extended his hands in two directions causing two torches to spark to life, a force combustion move he had learned long ago. The illuminating glow of the dancing flames revealed four decaying bodies approaching the Sith and his apprentice from the corridor they came down. Blood red eyes stared at the two through rusty helmets and decaying eye-sockets. In their hands were chipped swords and primitive laserblasters; their flesh held together by ancient armor that was not in the best condition. Malvus extended his hand once more and fired off a Force Blast that caused the four hostiles to temporarily fall down. His gaze turned to Sarah.
What you are staring at is called Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut, Reanimated Dead. It was perfected by the Sith King Dathka Graush using a combination of Sith alchemy and magic that has long been lost to our knowledge. Impervious to pain and have a necrotic bite that can transmit the infection to anyone who comes in contact with the bite.Immobilize them quickly for if we linger long, more will come and we will be overrun.
After that, he sprung into action, cutting the legs off of one of the zombies before slashing it through the neck. These were no simple undead due to being reanimated by ancient Sith sorcery, but there still obvious places to hit them in order to take them down.

There was a look of caution on Sarah's face as she ventured deeper into the dark tomb along side Malvus, her Master. Her yellow eyes scanned the area around them. If there was any sign of movement or danger, she would pick it up and prepare her attack. When the two of them entered a large chamber, something in the air changed. before them, Sarah noticed text, scrolls, and other various items that related to the First Sith Empire. For a moment, a rogue thought penetrated the young Sith's mind. She felt as if the scrolls of the Old Sith Empire might prove useful to her one day. Before she could even think of making a move toward them to investigate, Malvus whipped around toward her, his lightsaber drawn in a defensive manner.
The Dark Haired Sith narrowed her eyes at her master, but it was not long before she knew why he made such a sudden movement like that. The sound of a few pair of feet filled Sarah's ears as she snapped around to face the oncoming enemy. Her lightsaber hummed, the Dark Side of the Force danced around her left arm. Malvus ignited two torches within the corridor, which revealed the Undead Sith. Upon seeing the disfigured creatures with her own eyes, Sarah experienced a feeling she had not felt in several years: Doubt. The Sith took several steps back and brought her lightsaber up to bear.
Sarah could see the hate in the monsters' blood red and glowing eyes. That doubt spreading throughout Sarah's mind slowly began to covert itself into a deepening fear as she took a few more steps back. She wanted to increase the gap between her and the undead monsters before her. There was a clear sign that she was already trembling from the way her lightsaber shook in her hands. If Malvus was not standing with her, Sarah envisioned herself being torn apart from these Undead protectors of the tomb. A rush of energy was sent flying pass Sarah, which in turn knocked all four undead protectors to the ground. The energy was originated from behind her, so it had to be from Malvus. The very scent of energy he used reminded Sarah of Force Blast, a force power she was very familiar with. With her own fear still spreading rapidly throughout her mind, The Young Sith became unfocused and the energy she gathered from the Dark Side of the Force began to wane.
Malvus then informed Sarah on the origins of these creatures. To even think that Sith Alchemy and Sith Magic could achieve this level of control was beyond her. As Malvus then sprang into combat with the enemy, Sarah followed right behind him. Well, she would have if she wasn't frozen by fear. Sweat dripped down from her forehead and around her eyes as she watched her master begin his attack. She wanted to fight, to show Malvus that she was not afraid to get her hands dirty in combat, but her current physical state would not allow it. Then, in the mist of her sudden cowardice, an overwhelming migraine racked her entire brain, forcing her down upon her right knee. The pain was so intense, Sarah didn't noticed that her lightsaber had slipped from her hand, deactivated, and rolled away from her. At the time, it didn't matter. With each beat of her own heart, she felt massive surges of pain shattering against her temples. Sarah gritted down on her teeth hard to keep herself from screaming out, but that didn't stop a faint yelp from escaping her lips. Just before reaching the point of blacking out, a voice whispered to the far reaches of her mind.
The voice was ever soothing and solacing but it was unmistakably of Shadow's. It spoke with both male and female characteristics, which gave Sarah the impression of united parents trying to console their child. But that couldn't be right, could it? Sarah's mother had passed away during childbirth and she never even knew anything of her father. But in a strange way, the Dark Haired Sith found the way Shadow spoke pleasing to the ear. Shadow then asked a simple question to Sarah as she remained on her knee, pain still racking throughout her mind.
Shadow: "Do you want me to rid you of your fear way and show you how to fight like a true Sith Lord..?"
It was a question answered before even responded to Shadow. There was no doubt in her mind: If this strange being could help her fight with pride and destroy any traces of doubt and fear, she would take it without questioning. While Malvus continued his fight against the Undead creatures, Sarah whispered a small reply out loud.
"...Yes..."
And just like that, the fear was gone, as if someone had just unplugged that emotion from Sarah's very mind. Her trembling stopped, the headache subsided, and slowly, she stood to her feet. There was a taint of Dark Side Energy radiating from her body, but it wasn't her own. It radiated from something much other and much more powerful than Sarah could obtain on her own. Her Dark Black hair began to stand up on end from the energy now surging throughout her core. With both hands hanging down at her sides, The Sith opened her right hand and summoned her lightsaber with the Force. The very moment her fingers closed around the hilt of her weapon, she vanished. Well, to a non-Force Sensitive, it would appear that the Dark Haired Sith had simply vanished without a trace. But to any Force User, like Malvus, Sarah had manipulated her power in the way of Force Speed and lunged toward the nearest Dead One engaged in combat with her master. The Sith reappeared along side her Master with the tip of her blade piercing deeply into the face of one of the undead warriors. The eyes, nose, and mouth of the creature had been destroyed as it let out an unearthly wail. With a smirk, Sarah twisted her wrist slightly, which scrambled the rest of the creature's brain. The body fell limp and collapsed helplessly to the ground in front of her. One down, two more to go.
One of the creatures sluggishly lifted his primitive sword toward Sarah's saber wielding arm. Being careful to not strike her master, the Dark Haired Sith continued to use Force Speed to quicken her own movements. She turned her body in such a way so that the left side of her body would be facing the enemy. As she turned, The Sith brought left hand to bear against the center mass of the creature's chest. There was a sudden release of Dark Side Energy, which carried the Undead off its feet and propelled it directly into a nearby wall. The sickening sound of rotting flesh tearing and old bones breaking echoed throughout the tomb as the creature slumped down to the ground and did not move again. Sarah was within a few feet of her master when she finally turned and faced him. Her eyes were blood red. But that wasn't all. Her eyes seemed old, as if they had seen the universe and uncovered the true nature of the Dark Side. When she spoke, her voice was different. It sounded like Sarah, but then again, it didn't. There was a voice dubbing over hers, an old voice. A devious smirk pulled at the corner of her mouth when she finally spoke.
"Isn't this thrilling....Master?"

Malvus felt the evident change in his apprentice. Her fear was gone, her power had been augmented and even within her presence, another was mingling with hers. For now, the Sith concentrated on taking down the undead before them. Out of the corner of his eyes, the Dark Lord noticed his apprentice take down two of these Korriban zombies with ease. His own lightsaber met the mark upon the last one that was left standing. The presence of Sith Magic left its eyes, causing the corpse to go limp and fall to the ground. However when Sarah spoke to Malvus, his back was to her for only a mere second. His grip upon the lightsaber's handle tightened before the Sith slowly turned around, pointing his lightsaber directly at Sarah. Sarah appeared to be herself, but something within her made Malvus aware that his apprentice wasn't herself...
What are you?...
The presence that mingled with Sarah could not easily fool Malvus. His powers and sensitivity had been honed for over a few millenia. The Sith had seen many strange things in his life time; ranging from his own madness that was brought to light by the teachings of the Sorcerer of Tund to the various types of Sith such as the missing Darth Belial and his former wife, San Zabar. His own meddling with the Dark Side and meditation methods taught by the Sorcerers of Tund made his force sensitivity rather...sensitive. And whatever was inside Sarah was not fooling him.
The lightsaber within his hands remained pointed directly at his apprentice. It was held firmly and without hesitation. If need be, the Sith was more than willing to strike down his apprentice. He would not tolerate such delays that could hinder his apprentice's progress. In the mean time, Malvus used his force senses to feel out this presence within Sarah while at the same time keeping his awareness to their surroundings in case other undead came forth. If necessary, Malvus would attempt to force this spirit from Sarah's body so that they could once more continue on their journey.
Speak now!! Tell me what you are and your purpose...now!

As Malvus dispatched the last of the four Undead Sith, he did something that nearly took the Dark Haired Sith by surprise: The Red Sith turned and was now directing the tip of his lightsaber directly at Sarah. This sudden movement caused Sarah's left eyebrow to rise sightly as she stared at him with a questioning expression upon her face. Her Old Sith eyes glanced him up and down while the Sith barked questions at her, demanding answers she could not provide. Who was she? Sarah Dillard, of course. As for the fear, Shadow had taken that away and empowered her with the energy she didn't quite understand at the moment. Even now, her body was struggling to contain and house the massive amount of Dark Energy surging throughout her core. Sarah, with her red eyes glaring, felt the corner of her lips pulling up in a seductive like smirk. After giving the Red Sith a final glance, Sarah responded, her voice still carrying the trace of another's. It was obvious she could not pick up on this trait herself.
"You know who I am, Lord Malvus. Why the questions? My fear kept me from fighting at all. With it now gone, I fought better than ever. You clearly witnessed that fact for yourself, My lord."
However, the being within Sarah's soul looked through her eyes at the Sith standing before her and was not amused. Malvus had obviously picked up on Shadow's presence, but what would he do? Attempting to remove Shadow's influence from Sarah would prove most grave for her health. If Malvus tried to remove Shadow anyway, It would lose its chance to return to the living world if Sarah was no longer among the living. The fact that the Red Sith could sense Shadow was quite impressive. Maybe there was use for Sarah to stay in this Sith's company while Shadow waited for the woman to be ready. It would return one day, but it would not be this day. Shadow actually thought about lunging at the Red Sith and make an attempt to strike him down before he tried to remove the spirit. But then again, Sarah's body might not be strong enough to survive, yet alone win a confrontation of that level. Deciding to withdraw for now, Shadow removed his influence and control from the young woman's mind, which allowed her to return to normal. Her eyes changed back to yellow/hazel, her aura was once again her own, and the seductive expression on her face was replaced with slight confusion. Sarah blinked a few times before noticing that Malvus was in a fighting stance, his weapon drawn and directed toward her. The Dark Haired Sith stepped back on her left leg and brought up her lightsaber. The two sabers formed something like a red, humming 'X' in the large chamber. More of the Undead Sith were bound to be on their way here by now, so Sarah was not keen on staying here. When she spoke out to Malvus, her voice was her own once again.
"What are you doing? We came in her for knowledge, but was it also a test of my strength? Did you wish to duel me to gauge my power?"
In the background of Sarah's mind, Shadow laughed to itself. For now, the being would lay in the shadows and wait for Sarah to grow in her knowledge in the Dark Side of the Force. One day, a terror would return to the galaxy.

Malvus remains silent as Sarah speaks. There was something off about his apprentice, but it became clear that the first sentence was spoken by this..Sarah possessed spirit while the second was clearly her. His eyes scanned the room for the moment, catching a trace of the aura for a split second before it vanished. Whatever it was, it was gone now. Slowly, his lightsaber was lowered from being pointed at Sarah. It was time to school his apprentice in a new lesson.
Fear...Fear makes us Sith, apprentice. For it is raw emotions such as hate, anger, and fear that fuel our power. Fear is what makes the Jedi weak and brings them down our path. Fear is the motivation that brings us purpose and on the path to eliminate that fear. Fear is what drives us forward, to ensure we are not forgotten. Never let your fear go away, apprentice, use it to your advantage. To have it taken away, takes away the potential for more power
With that, Malvus turned and walked towards the other corridor. He flicks his wrist, causing a couple more torches to light up at the corridor's entrance. The Sith would have to meditate upon what just happened later. For now, the secrets of the Sith King awaited them. He glances behind him once, taking note of where Sarah was.
We had best keep moving...or else those things will surround us.

"Yes Master, I understand.."
Sarah deactivated her lightsaber with a push of her thumb, sending the red hot blade sinking back into its hilt. The Dark Haired Sith would have to gain mastery over her own Fear instead of allowing Shadow's abilities to empower her. Despite the fact that she allowed Shadow access to her body and parts of her mind she locked off from it, Sarah fund her increase control and mastery over the Dark Side of the Force nothing short of invigorating. The very essence of the Dark Side yielded to her command. It was a taste of the power to come, yet it made her hunger for more. As she began to follow her Master, Sarah's yellow/hazel eyes seemed to be lost in thought. Again, why did Shadow call out to her and name her as its Key? Was there something in store for Sarah that she could not yet see? Was she purposely led down the path of the Dark Side to fulfill some destiny that was laid out before her? Figuring that Shadow was indeed a being from the afterlife, most likely Chaos, she knew it meant one thing: Shadow was attempting to use her to bring a soul back from the grips of Hell itself. But who was trying to punch through the walls of the afterlife and return to the living? And why was it up to Sarah to be that anchor? Questions like these continued to buzz around in her mind as she walked barely two feet behind her master, her right thumb hovering over the switch for her lightsaber. If anymore of the Undead Sith showed up to fight, Sarah would use her own fear to call upon the Dark Side of the Force.

The pair would continue down the corridors, encountering small patrols of the Undead which were easily dispatched by Master and Apprentice. The tomb felt like a labyrinth, which was typical for Sith tombs; whether they housed the body of a Sith King of old or the remains of a Dark Lord of the Sith. As Malvus descended deeper into the tomb, his mind occasionally drifted back to the spirit that possessed Sarah, wondering why such a spirit would take away a powerful tool, the emotion of Fear, from his apprentice in the first place. Sith, after all, thrived upon the raw power conjured by emotions. Such as the emotions Malvus held for his former wife before she vanished.
Eventually, Malvus and his apprentice came across a larger group of the Undead before a massive entryway. They were dispatched with ease due to their enemy's lumbering speed and inaccurate attacks. Yet as the last of the necrotic abominations were dispatched, Malvus would take a pause to gaze up at the entryway before him and Sarah. Calmly, the Sith Lord places his hand upon the entrance, feeling an aura of Dark Side energy seeping from its cracks and very stone. Malvus puts his lightsaber away, as he gazes up at the slab of ornate rock.
This is it...I can feel it. The tomb is right behind this door.

Sarah followed closely behind Lord Malvus, her right hand still gripping tightly on her lightsaber as they both delved deeper into the tomb of the Dark Lord. Along the way, the duo easily dispatched agents of the Undead and continued their search into Darkness. Even though she was unaware of what Malvus was actually searching for within this tomb, Sarah had to admit she was quite interested in gaining more knowledge of Sith Magic. It may have been simple mental suggestion from the Creature of Shadow, but it burnt within her mind. The black, burnt flesh of her left hand was proof enough of her path into the arts of Sith Magic, but she craved more. More of the Undead Sith came after the two, but they were easily and swiftly sent back to the realm of Chaos via Sarah and Malvus. The Dark Haired Sith was now using her own fear, like Malvus had instructed her, as a tool against her enemies. With her fearing driving the spark of power within her, she moved faster and performed better than she ever did. However, her power was nothing compared to when she was influenced by Shadow. Despite her increase speed and connection to the Dark Side, she often felt slow, sluggish, and out of tune with the Force.
When Malvus and Sarah came across a large group of Undead Sith, she didn't hesitate to strike them down. Flashes of red illuminated the chamber as the Sith cut down the Undead one by one. With her left hand, she cast Force Blast to dispel a group of Undead and fling them into a nearby wall. But there was something off. Sarah fought without breaking a sweat, but her mind was focused on the mystery of Shadow. Once the enemy had been destroyed and there was a brief period to rest and gather her breath, Sarah crouched down to ponder Shadow once more. She sat with her back against the nearest wall and pulled both of her knees up to her chest, allowing her chin to rest on the space between her knee caps. The Sith's mind traveled back to when Shadow used its influence to augment Sarah's abilities. It was difficult to describe the feeling. She felt powerful, unstoppable, and closer to the Dark Side than she had ever been in her entire life. She could see the aura burning around her body and manipulated the energy to do her bidding. Before she knew it, a smile was tugging at the corner of her lips. She loved it. Sarah actually loved being that close to the Dark Side and hungered for more. A sigh then escaped from her lips as the smile faded into darkness. Would she ever reach that level of mastery by being trained by Malvus? Now, she did not doubt his abilities as a Dark Lord, but would he be willing to take her further into the Dark Side? Would he be able to empower her like Shadow had?
Her late master had taught her abilities she still struggled to control and wield, even after all her training. Was there a way to gain Shadow's powers and permanently add them to her own? And if she could, how would she accomplish it? The Dark Haired Sith wanted to call upon the Creature of Shadow, to demand clarity on why it found her so appealing, so worthy of attention. But she couldn't bring herself to invoke Shadow's presence. If she did, the spirit might latch onto her and gain control over her body agan, maybe permanently this time. Malvus then spoke about the door, which stole Sarah's attention and brought her back to her feet. She rejoined him near the door and could feel the energy he spoke of. The Sith felt a pulse of Dark Energy radiating from behind the large stone door...and she's wasn't the only one who felt it. Within her mind, Shadow noticed the energy seeping from the cracks of the door. Deep within the pits of the young woman's mind, Shadow smiled. This was the energy it needed.

Malvus continued to feel the ornate runes that lined the door. It appears that when Cronal departed this tomb, the runes had been restored to power. Either by the departing Cronal or the spectre of the Sith King. His eyes glance at his apprentice for a moment, before looking back at the thick and protected stone entry.
We might be here for awhile...unlike the tomb's entrance, these doors are well protected by ancient Sith runes. I will need to meditate for some time in order to unlock their secret and thus be able to make our way through.
Malvus turns back to the group of the undead they had dispatched. He begins to use force to move the corpses into various spots. Their primitive weapons stacked upon them before the Sith's combustion magic lit them up. The corpses had been aligned to serve as small fires to keep the area around the tomb's entrance lit. Malvus looks at his apprentice.
Keep an eye out for any unwanted company. I doubt the undead will venture to us, but in case they do, these fires will ensure we see them coming ahead of time.
The Sith then sits down before the entrance and begins to meditate. His mind delving deep into the Dark Side of the force as his meditation sought to figure out the runes that prevented their entry and protected the tomb from trespassers. Only a sigh is heard from the Sith for a moment before silence falls.

As Malvus continued to study the large sealed door before him, Sarah returned to a sitting position near the massive door in question. She brought her knees up against her chest once more and let out a small sigh. After dispatching that last group of Sith Undead, Sarah noticed that there was an eerie silence within the tomb. Compared to the surface of Korriban, the atmosphere within the tomb was quite cooler, despite the living Dead trying to kill Sarah and Malvus and the...smell. Sarah could live without the smell. There was something different about fighting the Undead. Unlike the two security officers she brought down just hours ago, the Undead felt no pain. They had no fear, not regret, no emotions of any sort. Sarah still feared them like she did before, but from Malvus' instruction, she used that fear against them instead of asking Shadow to remove said emotion. Just as she began to relax her muscles and calm herself after the last battle, that same old dull headache began to resurface. Groaning softly to herself, The Dark Haired Sith rubbed both of her eyes with her left hand in an attempt to alleviate the pain. She knew Shadow was trying to make contact with again, but why did it have to be her? And why did it have to be so painful when the Creature entered her mind? For example, Malvus would have been a much better choice to use as the 'key' or 'doorway' or whatever Shadow called Sarah when the being first appeared before her.
The Sith moved to stand up and make an attempt to walk the pain off, but she found her body completely unresponsive to her commands. Whatever Shadow was doing to her, it stripped Sarah of control of her own body. A slight feeling of panic swarmed Sarah's mind. Her eyes drifted to Malvus, as if she were to plead with him for help, but she couldn't speak. To Malvus, it would simply appear that she was just resting for the time being. But in reality, the pain was increasing and the throbbing of her temples was pushing her into unconsciousness. At the apex of the pain, Sarah passed out, her chin resting softly upon her knees as her mind was whisked away to the cosmos. Within moments, The Dark Haired Sith found herself standing on the same beautiful planet from the last forced vision. The sun's brilliant radiance was a warm and comforting touch to Sarah's skin. The temperature was just right, the sky was dotted with beautiful white clouds, the breeze carried the scent of fresh flowers from afar. In the distance, Sarah noticed the sprawling city she witnessed in the first vision, but this time, it wasn't blurred like it had been in the past. Now, she was able to see vehicles of all shapes and sizes buzzing around the city, which itself was an marvel or modern construction. She was able to identify a structure in the heart of the city that sort of resembled an Imperial Palace. In her studies of Galactic politics and landmarks, palaces like this would have been on several planets, scattered throughout the galaxy. She still couldn't identify what planet she was on, but it was a far cry from the dry, dirty heat of Korriban
Sarah, who had been standing be herself for the last few moments, was admiring the view of the city, but she wasn't alone for long. The Creature of Shadow, or simply out Shadow manifested itself just a few feet on Sarah's right. It too was gazing out toward the city, as if it was enjoying the view for itself. Sarah was not surprised that Shadow had decided to show itself, which was new to the young Sith. Usually, she would have been repulsed by the presence of the creature, but now, she barely reacted to the being. As a gentle breeze filled the silence between them, Sarah turned her head slightly to the right to ask what Shadow had brought her here for, but she was totally unprepared for what her eyes had just laid upon. Shadow had already been staring at the Sith, its eyes matching Sarah's completely
Young Sarah almost lost her footing as she put some distance between her and the creature with her eyes. Those yellow/hazel eyes seemed to pierce into Sarah's mind as Shadow continued to stare her, unblinking. Just like the city in the distance, Shadow's face was no longer blurred to her. In fact, Sarah almost assumed Shadow was mocking her image perfectly. From the creature's current appearance, its facial structure closely echoed Sarah's own face, but it was more masculine. The Dark Haired Sith studied Shadow carefully as it stood before, unaffected by her curiosity. Her heart began to race and she bit down softly on her lip while trying to understand why Shadow was mocking her. Shadow was now at least over six feet tall and had dark brown hair, much like Sarah's. His facial hair was lined up in a full beard with a black goatee and his body was lean, yet muscular in its own right.
Sarah approached the being, which was clearly male to her now, and stared directly into his eyes. Finally, she spoke out in a stern voice.
"Who are you, Shadow? What do you really want from me and why do you now decide to show your form?"
Shadow blinked once and nodded his head slowly as he turned his attention back to the city in the distance. There was a certain calmness to the creature's face when he turned his attention away from Sarah. Again, there was a silence between the two of them which was only filled by the gentle breeze. Sarah didn't know if time was actually moving in this realm, but she was sick of waiting for an answer. When she attempted to make a move toward the creature, Shadow snapped his attention back toward Sarah and extended his right index finger, which pointed at the center of her forehead. When the being spoke, its voice sending soothing and comforting feelings into Sarah's very heart.
Shadow: "No Words Are Needed. Go Back With This Knowledge. Keep It To Yourself."
Before Sarah could even respond with her questions, a blinding light flashed from Shadow's finger. She felt her mind being invaded with brand new information and she couldn't believe a word of it! None of this could be true! The entire atmosphere around Sarah changed and when she opened her eyes, she found herself back in her own body on Korriban. Hot tears began to stream down from her eyes as she sat and tried to muffle her painful sobs. Nothing was going to be the same. If what Shadow just put into her mind was true, it changed everything. It changed her.

Malvus delved deeper and deeper into the Dark Side as his apprentice was experiencing her own encounter with the Shadow from before. His muscles tensed up slightly from his meditation. There was always the chance of encountering his own darkness. A mental state of mind known as the Madness of the Force. It was a side effect from his training with the Sorcerers of Tund. While the Sorcerers were well known as experts in the art of illusion, shapeshifting and deception, another common fact was that many of its members were driven insane by their exploration of the Force. During his training, Malvus discovered his own madness when exploring the Force.
Once more, his muscles tensed up as the Madness reached out to take hold of its prey. Among the Force, known as the Unity, by the Sorcerers as an omnipresence within the Force, there was a much darker presence. Malvus suddenly twisted his head upward in his meditative state, feeling a seed of Madness take hold. The Sith gritted his teeth, using his raw will to control the expanding grip of his insanity that lurked within the Force. The Sith twisted his head to the side, feeling yet another seed take hold. It wouldn't be much longer if he continued to remain in this state. He had to seek the answers he sought for quickly, for none were safe against his insane state.
As seeds began to take hold and sprout upon Malvus's mental state, the Dark Side revealed the answers he sought. This caused Malvus to abruptly gasp as his trance was broken immediately. A surge of dark energy swelled up within him as the Sith rose sharply and conjured up a great maelstrom of energy. His eye twitched, feeling the insanity seeping into his mind as his power was conjured. With a great bellow, the Sith's palms slammed against the protected door of the tomb. The runes light up with a brilliant, yet ominous crimson glow. The runes revealing an intricate pattern along the door and the surrounding walls. Malvus poured his energy into breaking the protective layer, using the power of the Madness to do the job.
Within just a few moments, the rune pattern receded and the protective aura was vaporized. The door slightly creaked open as a signal that the way was open. Malvus pulled away, visible beads of sweat falling from his crimson skin. Even a light pant was heard from his lips as Malvus sunk to one knee, trying to regain his composure. Within his mind, the Sith could feel the wickedness of the Madness as if it was bearing a visible cruel smile before dissipating into nothing. The Sith remained on one knee for only a few more moments before rising to his towering stature. Quietly, Malvus ventured forth towards the absolute darkness of the tomb that was opened before Master and Apprentice.

While Malvus pushed himself deeper into the Darkness of the Force, Sarah continued the fight the painful sobs as they erupted from her lungs. Her stomach was twisting in own itself, her skin was covered in sweat, and her mind was racing to the point of collapse. Her hands trembled slightly as she attempted to keep her mouth covered so her sobs would escape out into the open. Everything about her life hand changed within a moment's notice and it literally destroyed her world, or at least her concept of the world. Every single event in her life had been planned out years before her birth, but for what reason? Why did her mother have to die alone? Why did she reach out and touch the Dark Side of the Force and obliterate that little girl's patella? From the Jedi holding her for a few years to her imprisonment by her former Sith Master, every single event had been planned out, years in advanced. Apparently, her mother agreed to this and was in favor of it. But why? Why was Sarah needed to be Shadow's back up plan?
The sobs slowly gave way to a low growl within the pits of Sarah's lungs. Anger was now taking control of her as her mind was thought back on the information Shadow has forced into her mind. Even though she knew exactly who Shadow was, she couldn't help but feel hatred toward him. How dare he use her life like this? How dare he strip her a life she could have lived happily? How dare her own mother agree to such a feat?! Sarah's hands balled tightly into fists as a large spike of Dark Side Energy exploded within her. The burning aura that was once used by Shadow to empower the young woman was now clearly her own. Her eyes flashed from red, then back to yellow, then back to a solid red once more. The Dark Energy of the Force seeped from the now open tomb, which only added to Sarah's own rage as the power was absorbed into her very body. When Malvus began to walk into the chamber, she stood and flanked him. She felt something burning within, something painful. The Force had to be released from her body, least it consume her whole.

As Master and Apprentice entered, a series of torches lit up upon their own. An ominous blue flame flared to life upon the torches, revealing a vast tomb. Scrolls and texts littered the entire area, whether they were on shelves or scattered upon the floor. Malvus grips his chest slightly as a vibration in Dark Side went coursed through his body. He had meditated too deep into the Force it seemed, the Madness still lingered just nearby. The Sith regulated his breathing to relax his tense muscles and force sensitivity. Just as he managed to gain some control, his gaze darted upward to the tomb as a concentration of Dark Side energy was beginning to manifest.
Right before Sarah and Malvus, a spiral of Dark Side energy manifested and swirled above the tomb. The tomb torches flickered slightly as the energy gathered more and more above the tomb. The manifestation soon began to slow as a ghastly-like figure appears in the midst of the dark energy. Upon this figure's head was a primitive crown, his skin covered in a tattered cloak and bone armor. Before the Sith stood the manifested spirit of Dathka Graush. The spirit gestures to the pair and speaks in a voice that echoes across the room.
Who dares disturbed me from my slumber? Who dares penetrate my resting place? Are you not aware of who-....
The spirit paused as a blast of dark side energy slammed into it. Malvus's arm was outstretched, the Madness within him slowly permeating into his mental state and empowering the Sith. Malvus grits his teeth and glares at the spirit.
I don't have time for speeches nor warnings, decadent ghost...
With a snarl, the Sith unleashes a maelstrom of lightning from his finger tips which slam against the Sith spirit. The ghastly sorcerer eventually regains itself and begins to use its own ancient Sith magic against Mavlus. A titanic duel waged right before Sarah's eyes as her Master fought toe to toe with the Sith King's ghost. Malvus knew he needed more power and began to draw upon the lingering madness within him. Using his free hand, it begins to reache forward, the finger tips crackling with fresh energy. The concentration of dark energy within his free arm would soon be unleashed in the form of a new wave of force lighting that erupts from his finger tips. The new source of power crashes against the sorcerer's ghost, forcing the Sith King upon the defensive. The ghastly figure begins to back away as Malvus advances, trying to hold its own against such might. It had been a long time since the Sith King fought such an adversary. Slowly Malvus's face comes into view, a grin laced with malice upon his face.
You will tell me your secrets, sorcerer...for you granted the fool Cronal your knowledge so I shall do the same! Else I will make you die a second time and this time, you won't come back ever again! You will be lost in the Void, never to return. A prison fit for fools like yourself.
Malvus snarls with rage as the force lightning explodes with power and crashes against the defensive stance of the ghost of the Sith King. He knew that in order to force the Dathka's hand, Malvus had to keep up the offensive even if it meant drawing upon the Force-induced madness.

Sarah flanked Malvus as the pair entered the tomb of the long dead Sith King. As they entered, the torches on both opposite walls began to ignite and burn with an unusual blue flame. The now red eyes of the Dark Haired Sith kept a close watch on her surroundings and was prepared to fight at anytime. The anger she held deep inside was burning closer and closer to the surface now. Shadow had given her knowledge way beyond her years, knowledge beyond her understand at her current stage in life, but she understood enough to pinpoint what exactly the creature needed within this tomb. Even though she was given this knowledge, she completely hated Shadow for forcing this upon her life. Why did it have to be Sarah? And her mother! She was in on it! She agreed to be part of this madness and the very thought of that brought venom to the Sith's lips. Despite her rage, Sarah noticed that Malvus had grabbed the area near his heart and was currently having difficulties of some sort. She watched him for a few moments before turning her attention away and to the texts that littered the ground. After searching the ground around her and near the door, she spotted a certain book laying against the wall. She eyed it carefully as she approached the black book and picked it up.
The young Sith thumbed open the ancient looking book and flipped a few pages to confirm its content. With a quick node, Sarah confirmed that this was indeed the book Shadow had impressed on her mind to locate and recover once she was on the other side of those massive tomb doors. Sarah then shut the book and returned to Malvus' side just in time for the arrival of the Sith King. There was a sudden change in the atmosphere of the tomb. A red spiral formed in the center of the chamber and before too long, the Sith King materialized before the two intruders. The Sith King, with its tattered cloak, bone armor, and ancient crown, looked upon Sarah and her master with anger burning in its old eyes. The spirit was barely able to get a statement out from it's ghastly mouth before Malvus began his attack. Sarah's eyes never left the begin of the Sith King as Malvus cast Force Lightning from his fingertips and began the duel of Flesh against Spirit.
A devious smirk crept up on Sarah's lips as she watched the struggle unfold before her. She felt the Dark Side of the Force radiating off the two contenders, which called out to her to joy the battle. The allure of the Dark Side was great for Sarah, and she wouldn't want to disappoint her Master by not stepping in to lend him her aid. Her pupils constricted, her hands closed into tight fists, and her blood boiled as she used the rage she felt for Shadow to fuel her own power. The air around her body seemed to be electrified and charged by the Dark Side of the Force. After quickly strapping the ancient tome to her hip, Sarah held both hands out in front of her chest, her fingers spread out and aligned with the other digits on the opposite hand. The Dark Side of the Force began to manifest itself in the form of Force Lightning and arched back and forth through the gap between her hands. The blue discharges of energy danced around the Sith's hands and illuminated the entire front of her body as she prepared to attack.
The moment Malvus began to push heavy on the offensive, Sarah acted with pure malice within her eyes. Without hesitating, The Dark Haired Sith slammed both hands together, an act with caused the lightning gathered between her hands to merge as one. The energy discharged violently, causing several stray bolts of lightning across the emptiness of the tomb. Sarah than focused her energy and pushed her hands out toward the Sith King. The energy ignited and several thick bolts of lighting erupted from her very fingertips. The Blue Lightning streaked passed Malvus and struck the Sith King with utter authority. This lightning was vastly different from what Sarah usually used. Her favored the traditional red lightning but from Shadow's implantation of knowledge into her mind, she used his ancient blue lightning instead. Quite touching, really.

The ghastly figure of an ancient Sith King tried to hold off against the assault of not one, but two Sith. While one appeared to be the apprentice, combined the force ghost saw their potential and their current power. The Sith conjured up great power and eventually managed to only barely deflect the onslaught and derail it. The Sith ghost floated for a moment, sensing the power vibrating within Malvus and then in Sarah. The ghost would speak calmly to the pair.
It seems you are neither bandit nor treasure robber... I can sense the Dark Side within the both of you. You show discipline and raw power, traits worthy of the Sith. Yet I wonder... why did you come and awaken me from my slumber?
Malvus steps away from his apprentice and approaches the force ghost. His eyes glared with sinister intent upon the Sith King's phantom image. His display had been enough to pacify the ghost and show the ancient Sith who they truly were. It was time for answers.
I desire your knowledge in the art of ancient Sith magic, phantom. I desire the power that comes with that knowledge and what it will bring to the future of the Sith Order. As knowledge breeds power, so does it breed potential. And I desire that potential.
An eerie laugh came forth from the Sith King. It sounded like a bottomless pit, a laugh draw from the very bowls of the Dark Side. Dathka gazes upon both Master and Apprentice with a sinister grin upon his face.
Words spoken like a true Sith! You seek ancient knowledge that drove me to my pinnacle of power and potential. You desire the power that comes from my knowledge and what it can bring. Then so be it, Sith!
The force ghost lifts his hands as texts and scrolls swirled around the room. It was a careful pattern as the phantom searched among the flying parchment and bindings to find what he needed to give as a reward for those who showed their power and thirst for knowledge.

When the Sith King repelled both attacks, Sarah was prepared to go on the offensive again. Her body tensed but when Malvus seemed to stand down, she followed suit. Small sparks of blue energy continued to discharge around both of her hands as she walked to the nearest wall and sat to rest. Since the Sith King had been dealt with -for now, at least-, Sarah could focus on the book she found within the chamber. She reached down, pulled the book from her hip, and flipped through the pages. She read quietly to herself while the Sith King displayed his body and made a mini whirlwind of the remaining texts and scrolls scattered throughout the tomb. The Dark Haired Sith had no interest in what the Sith King wanted, so she focused herself on the book before her and drowned him out. There was something more important in the book before here that Shadow had impressed upon her mind. Again, she was furious that all of this, from her birth to being raised by a Sith Lord on Korriban, had been planned out. A look of utter disgust was riddled on the young woman's face as she read through the ancient tome of Sith Magic. In here, hopefully, she would find the answers she and Shadow sought

He eyed her for a moment before the whirlwind of texts came to a halt and all of them went back into place. The phantom's hand is outstretched as a book is rested within the Sith Lord's hands. Malvus examines it quietly for a moment before looking at the specter. His force sensitivity sparked for a moment, making him aware of movement converging upon the tomb's main room. He turns away calmly, his cape making a soft whipping noise among the rather eerie silence. He pauses for a moment before looking at his apprentice. We have to leave now, my apprentice.Malvus could sense it coming, the Sith King had taken his time to await the arrival of his undead guards. While granting the item that the Sith Lord requested, the phantom had planned to kill them while having them wait.
