The Meteor-class Q-Carrier was a troop transport used by the True Mandalorians, and later Mandalorian Protectors. Designed and produced by MandalMotors, the Meteor-class acted as a drop ship capable of delivering Mandalorian soldiers quickly to the surface from the hangars of Mandalorian carriers. The ships were reportedly shaped to resemble the faces of the original Taungs. In addition to heavy hull plating, the ship was protected with a twin blaster cannon on each side of the fuselage. Upon landing, four landing gear deployed capable of absorbing the shock of high-speed landings. Capable of carrying 30 soldiers to the battlefield, the Meteor was a formidable troop transport and an improvement over the original Q-Carrier.
