TIE VanguardShip Class: Starfighter Ship Role: Reconaissance Ship Length: 6.3 meters Agility (A): 4 Defensive (D): 2 Offensive (O): 1 Speed (S): 4 Special Gear: 1 (Additional sensors and communication equipment) The TIE Vanguard was a variant of the TIE/rc starfighter reconnaissance craft. Like the TIE/rc, it was a short-range ship based on the common TIE/LN starfighter concept. The physical differences between the TIE Vanguard and other TIE series starfighters were greater than those of the TIE/rc. Several large antennae connected to sensor arrays and communications equipment protruded from the cockpit ball, and the upper section of each Quadanium alloy solar ionization panel was shortened and swept outwards to reduce interference with the dorsal scanners. As with the TIE/rc, weaponry consisted of a sole laser cannon that was placed on the chin of the cockpit ball; however, unlike its predecessor, the Vanguard was protected by limited shielding, thus enabling it to better protect any intelligence and other data that it had gathered.

As with the TIE/RC, not sure what the consensus of the point system currently stands with the RPAs, but simply going on the list I created, I would divide sensors and communications into two points as they have two different functions. Just based on what I have, though.

I feel that it's adequate to keep them as one point, considering I feel they fall under the misc category. Although, I feel like its only worth mentioning the sensor advantage rather than communication. I feel that's not entirely necessary.

Likewise, Communications & sensors aren't that different in the long run. In either case, you are picking out very faint signals & making use of them. The only real difference is Whether you want to send a signal back or not. In this case, I feel one point isn't unreasonable.
