Description:
As part of the Mythic line of vessels of Lyncitech and Hadur Industries, the Raiju-class Fast Frigate was built to be a quick response vessel, working to hinder fleets as the slower ships made their way into the fray. Built off the base design of the Wyvern-class Battlecruiser, the ship was thin and curvy, making for a smaller target profile when attacking from a horizontal plane.
Based mostly on speed, the Raiju was meant to move ahead of a fleet upon leaving hyperspace in order to bog them down with firepower and gravity mines to hold ships from evacuating the area and diverting attention, leaving them a bit more open when the heavy hitters arrive. It's armament consists of ten turbolaser batteries, five ion cannon batteries, fifty gravity mines, and four tractor beam projectors. To aid in its work, it carries twelves starfighters and four-hundred troops for boarding and defensive measures when not deployed for a planet's surface.
