Description:
With the destruction of her Lethisk-class armed transport, Luxeria sought something new to carry her across the stars, something more fitting of who she was. Working with the shipyards over Mustafar, Luxeria wanted something eloquent, yet capable of tending to whatever needs she had when out on missions.
Finding none that fit her desires in a stock configuration, she had no other option but to modify a ship to the specification she wanted. Luckily, her choice and the fact the Blackguard possessed their own shipyards made that easy.
Deciding on the Baudo-class Star Yacht, Luxeria worked to increase its defenses, firepower, and stealth abilities. Though it took some time, the right combination of equipment was established, since they possessed the base plans, and construction began. Within a year, a vessel befitting one such as herself came into existence.
Satisfied with the speed and agility of the craft, nothing was built to affect what it accomplished as it danced across the skies, using the Nubian Headon-5 Sublight Engines to give her the power required to reach those speeds. Knowing there would be times she'd require a boost of greater speed to outrun faster enemies or escape interdiction fields, a SubLight Acceleration Motor was added when times got desperate.
Choosing to focus much of the ship around stealth technology, Luxeria chose a multitude of option to give her the best possible approach when trying to hide from her enemies. First came the hull. Not only was black chromium chosen because it made the ship look better, but the black reflective surface worked to hide the ship in the void of space. However, since the chromium proved weaker than the normal hull coating, a Chempat Defender shield generator was added to pick up the slack and keep her defense in its normal range. Baffled Exhaust, Nightshadow Hull coating, and engines modified to burn Tibanna X gas further improved the stealth features without affecting the ship's systems and keeping it hidden from scanners at a distance, even when emerging from hyperspace. Trust Trace Dampeners and a Phantom 4x Short-Range Jamming Suite were also added to better help keep the ship hidden when on approach. The final touch was a cloaking device, yet, due to the rarity of Stygium crystals, choosing that model of cloaking device wasn't advised. Instead, a Hibridium-powered cloaking device was added, facilitating the need for the other countermeasures to keep her hidden when accounting for the double-blind feature it created.
For offense, Luxeria knew the single laser cannon wouldn't cut it and she wasn't about to let herself become the victim or let enemies get away, creating the need to up the weapons on the ship. Two KX-12 laser cannons were mounted mid-wing, two Ls-9.6 laser cannons went mounted on underwing pylons that were built to detach and allow other pieces of equipment to be added if required by the Blackguard, a SW-8 ion cannon replaced the original ventral mounted laser cannon as a 360 degree turret, and a single ST-2 concussion missile launcher was added with a six missile payload.
To finish, a new A.I unit was built to help Luxeria handle the ship as she was typically always flying solo. Named Satele, she was based on the design of the Sith'ari's Rampant, though many of the features the A.I possessed were limited and confined to the ship compared to the original.
Despite carrying a Sarylcorp ViX Multi-Flux reactor Power Core, the ship was not capable of handling everything at once. Safety feature and power redirect systems were put in place to ensure the ship didn't burn out. Weapons, hyperdrive, and the jamming suite were redirected in the cloaking device to prevent an issue when jumping to hyperspace and to ensure the cloak didn't fail. In the case of the SLAM system, all power was redirected there from the same systems to keep the system stable so as to not overload.
